We booked this for some friends of ours. They greatly enjoyed their stay. The place was nice and cozy and away from the touristy crowds. Krishna was responsive to all inquiries. Our friends had no complaints!

Garden View Retreat

It's a peaceful place in Old Manali, with great views and it is at a walking distance from the clubhouse. You do have to climb stairs to reach there, but Sandeep ji will help you in carrying your bags upstairs. The place is clean and you can also order homemade food. Overall we loved our stay here.

wooden rooms with view @sissu

SiddharthRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This homestay is a quiet peaceful getaway in the mountains. The family that runs it is super helpful and will help you with a smile always. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Khangsar can get pretty cold but we were kept comfortable with blankets and a heater on request. There is not available at all times. However the main USP of this place are the views. The balcony has unbeatable views of the Chenab and the mountains. Overall a good place to stay and explore Lahaul. Will definitely recommend.

Himalaya Retreat

Where do u even start saying something about this space 🫶 Ashima & Scott have created a little paradise up in the mountains ❤️ The Apple Orchards, the chirping birds, mighty 4000 mtrs peak in your front yard, 200mtr plus waterfall in your backyard, crisp fresh air, dogs to cuddle & just endless serenity 🥰 The description is apt about the place. If u can hike for an hour or so u should be good. The path is beautiful & Ashima will provide all the help to get u up smoothly. Yes do carry whatever u will need for your duration of the stay. Once up u won’t feel like leaving this paradise at all ❤️❤️ Can’t wait to get back here 🫶

CastAway - The Offbeat Cabin in Vashisht, Manali

A beautiful experience, at Chethan’s place. A short hike through wilderness takes you into the mountains and you arrive at a beautiful cottage nestled within pine trees, with impeccable views of Old Manali, Vashisht village and the entire Beas valley. Casper is the nicest dog and Charlie, the cat can be moody sometimes. Chethan ensures his guests feel the love and warmth in each aspect of his hosting pedigree. I had the chance to feast upon some delicious Malabari chicken and rice which made my experience even more wholesome. I’m looking forward to going and staying there again. A great experience altogether, you get to meet so many fellow travellers. An easy 10/10.

Gharsa -A Cozy Hidden Himalayan home w/pvt kitchen

PrasanthRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was an unforgettable stay and experience. Prior to reaching, Moxa and Achintya were very responsive and directed us to the chalet accurately. Once we reached, we found the house and the surroundings to be beautiful. It has beautiful views of the snowy mountains and is in the middle of endless rows of apple, cherry and plum trees. The house is well stocked with utensils and appliances and is ideal for a long stay. Moxa is a very friendly host and became like a friend to my wife and I. She gave us on point suggestions of things to do, places to visit etc and even took us to some very picturesque view points she has found in her time here. We’ll definitely recommend the place and the hosts to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing stay away from the bustle.

Wabi Sabi Home: an offbeat Himalayan retreat

RunaliRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The house is super cozy, fully equipped kitchen with basic veggies, masala, fry daal rice poha etc. Reaching there is a bit challenging. Only 2 km offroad from highway but those 2 km are easy in day light only. Though Pragya maam instructed us to reach in day light, it wasn't a big issue. The blankets and bedding were super cozy. Morning views are to die for. We self-cooked the breakfast and it was soo much fun. There is a heater in room which is nominally chargeable and tandoor in hall and wood is chargeable for it. It's one of the best stay I have ever been too. I visited with my parents and husband, they all enjoyed staying there as well. Pragya ma'am is very warm person. She helped us with every little thing we needed. Though muling is a small isolated village with few homes, our experience was amazing 👍🏼
