Vacation rentals with a firepit in DeKalb County

The views stunning, enjoyed the sunsets. Weather was perfect to enjoy the patio and a little bird watching( abundance of woodpeckers and spotted a couple of eagles). The house had everything we needed. The kitchen well equipped as we cooked nightly. We also enjoyed the town of Smithville which has nice boutiques, antiques and coffe shop. Nice tranquil property.

Perfect place to stay and explore nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. Everything was exactly as pictured and there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied! We had a great weekend at the Evergreen Lodge!

I have no complaints at all. It was great! The shower was amazing! I even extended my stay.

This place was just as described. A peaceful haven tucked in the woods. The instructions given to us for the road to the house was spot on please heed that warning. The road is a one car road and would be advised to have 4WD or mid size car. But it is so worth it. Just amazing!

My family stayed here while our bathroom was being renovated. It was the perfect "mini getaway" during the renovations. Darren's place is exactly as described. Private. Beautiful. Quite. So relaxing. We will definitely be back!!

This cabin in the woods is homey and cozy. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was stocked with appropriate gadgets, utensils. pots and pans. The place was clean and comfortable for our adult party of 5. Would I rent it again? Yes, we would. Michelle's notebook was comprehensive and she was responsive to questions. The dishwasher is small and a countertop model. Not a problem because we just used coffee mugs and silverware. Everything else we planned was disposable. This leads to garbage. Our stay was 8 days so we did have to take a few bags of garbage to the county dumpsters. No washer and dryer onsite and Michelle did mention that. Because our stay was so long, we had to visit the laundromat. I recommend the one in McMinnville not the the one in Smithville. We had a great time and were fortunate to find this property that was pet friendly. Our dog Max totally enjoyed the walks in the woods and the state park. The front porch was awesome.

Amatore’s place is fantastic! It was so clean and had everything that we needed. He was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The house is beautiful, plenty of space for all of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious as well with double sinks. It is private and a great area to walk. There is also a nice playground that you can walk to. We will definitely be back!

Their house was in a remote area which is what my wife and I wanted. Quiet and away from city life. It had beautiful scenery and waterfalls within short drives. Really enjoyed the fire out and WiFi was great. Would love to stay again later in the fall when leaves are changing more

The place was in a great location, just a 2-3 minute drive from downtown but the street is not too busy. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner works great. I would absolutely stay here again and probably will.

Rose was super friendly! :) the house is literally just one minute drive from the campus and walkable too. The house was great for the stay of my parents while they were in town visiting. Rose also had an air mattress that I used when I stayed over.

They obviously care very much about their guests’ experience and have included too many thoughtful details to mention. We really couldn’t have been happier and only wish we could have stayed longer.

This home is a true gem! The view alone of the green pastures and landscape from the den alone are spectacular. The loft is very comfortable and spotless clean with amenities to make a stay perfect. Slept with fresh cool Tennessee air like a champ and started each day perfect while working in the area. Kevin and Stacie are awesome hosts that have created a unique accommodation. Friendly waves from neighbors and walks along the sidewalks of Main Street are a bonus. A comfortable space for a getaway anytime. We will be back! Joe's place is a perennial favorite. It's quiet, comfortable, beautiful and very convenient. I've changed travel dates to make sure we can stay here. It's a definite go to place for us and I would highly recommend it.

We had the most wonderful weekend at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was so cozy and clean, with everything we needed — from all the dishes to fresh linens. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. We especially loved the back patio, which was so serene and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The location was super cool — it felt like we were tucked away in the woods, yet it was so close to the lake! If you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Cookeville Boat Dock and definitely take the guided kayaking tour with Kayaking of Middle Tennessee to see Burgess Falls — such a memorable experience! Our host was amazing, super responsive and provided us with all the detailed information we needed for our stay. And the decor of the place? Absolutely adorable — we loved the cute little touches throughout. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway!

This place has absoluty stunning lake view! You could sit in the deck and stare at the beautiful lake and clouds for hours. Beautiful home, location and super clean. We had a great time!

Alexis was fully accommodating during our stay at seven springs. We had a small issue arise and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Great little cabin with all the amenities of home.

The Eagles Nest was completely what and where I needed. A perfect getaway, off the beaten path, with a partial view of Center Hill Lake. Ample windows to take in the outdoors. White, wainscot walls with a high, painted wood plank ceiling complemented by anchor grey architectural hardware. Tastefully decorated with modern appliances (no gaudy oversized chocolate-brown sofa or fake leather rocker/recliner). Everything was fresh, clean, and comfortable. I didn’t need somewhere close to restaurants or shopping, only tranquillity. The Eagle’s Nest provided that and more. Thanks, Kalista and Kevin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The decor was stylish, the beds and couches were super comfortable, and the hot tub and game room were a blast. The kitchen amenities were much better than at other places we have stayed at before. The high quality toiletries in the bathrooms were a nice touch too! Our family of 5 was very comfortable here and would highly recommend!

Perfect for a quick little get away! Quiet and peaceful place to unplug and relax, especially in the hot tub. Blackstone, indoor gel fuel fireplace, fire pit, games, bathroom essentials and so much more provided. We will definitely be back!!
