There were so many little extras that made our stay exceptionally enjoyable. – – A new hot tub on the deck, Fresh eggs, a bottle of wine, nicely stocked kitchen, peaceful, and Zen furnishings, kindling in the outdoor fire stove and lots of cozy warm blankets. We would definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

Marlene's place was a beautiful, relaxing retreat for us. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and looking over the lake. It was too cold to get in but would be wonderful in the warm weather. There were plenty of sleeping options and great views. We didn't eat many meals at the house, but appreciated the coffee maker!

My goodness, the pictures dont do this place justice. I think we underpaid! The house was beautiful, the surroundings were amazing, 10/10 highly recommend. Joseph was timely in his responses, we had no issues with entry or accommodations. A word of advice to future guests, carpool or travel in the least amount of vehicles possible, the parking is scarce and we would not want to impede on such a beautiful neighborhood with a procession of cars. Thank you Joseph 100%!

This is a beautiful cottage. The enclosed porch is perched right at the lake. You can even see the lake from the kitchen window. Lyn has provided every detail for guest comfort and convenience, from luggage racks to a side table in the bedroom. Very nice bathroom with thick towels. A plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies on the island counter was a lovely welcome!

I just wish I could hide this place but it’s too awesome not to sleeves! This stay was simply blissful. The apartment was pristine and beyond my expectations. The host was super friendly and made sure my stay was as relaxing as possible. The amenities provided were above and beyond. There were skincare freebies and a personalized chocolate bar. 1000/10 highly recommended.

We would stay here again and again! In fact we are already planning another trip. The place is beautiful, the kitchen is extremely well stocked and functional, the lay out is great, and the place was spotless! our host was so accommodating, flexible, and responsive. our stay here was amazing. Jamie was very responsive and her attention to detail with EVERYTHING cannot be beat. if you forgot anything from toiletries to even snacks, she has you covered. the place is more beautiful than the pictures. will keep this listing for future stays in lancing. loved the proximity to historical sites to walk around.

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at this house! The house was perfect, right on the lake and easy to find. It was clean and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was a huge hit with the kids, and the view of the lake from inside the home was so peaceful. We definitely recommend this house when visiting Michigan. It was a short drive to Ann Arbor and Brooklyn was a nice town to explore as well. We would definitely stay again!

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

A TRUE GEM!! Very cozy and perfect for our family and pup! The area was spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! There is a nice size body of water behind the peppery that attracts some very beautiful animals that can be seen throughout the day. We saw deer, geese, otters, rabbits and so many beautiful birds! Stephanie was EXTREMELY hospitable and always very responsive. We really appreciated this. Thank you!! We look forward to coming back!

Wow! What a view! We traveled to MI for my son’s wedding and needed a place to host us all. The property was beautiful. Charles was super responsive and helped with numerous questions in getting us settled. We had a fantastic stay! We had a mishap and forgot an item and Charles contacted me immediately. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!
