You will have your own private dock for wading, swimming, fishing and other water activities. Freshly painted cozy two Bedroom Cottage with a Sectional Sofa that has queen bed pull out. Screened Porch, Large Patio & Dock to enjoy views of the creek and wildlife. Great for a romantic getaway or vacation. Well-appointed kitchen. Dogs allowed (2 Max, under 70 pounds-must be notified first) an additional fee of $60 per dog. No third-party bookings. Just outside Kilmarnock, very close to White Stone and Irvington with a good variety of Restaurants, Wineries, Breweries a Cidery and shopping.

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

This cabin is very Unique. The front portion of the cabin is a wheel house off of an old Steam boat. The twin bed is in this part of the wheel house. This cabin has a great water view with a large deck and a screened in porch. It has a full bath. The main living area is basically a studio with a queen bed, full size fridg, micro, toaster oven, stove, kitchen sink, keurig, charcoal bbg grill. This is a dog friendly (no cats, sorry) cabin and is located in a small campground called Cross Rip.

With four bedrooms (one has bunk beds and a foosball table and is accessed through the third bedroom) you'll have all the room you need.

Just a mile away is a newly renovated island restaurant with a bar and a wide variety of food options. The house was passed down from my father, and all proceeds from Airbnb go towards making improvements.
