We absolutely loved our stay here! The space was cozy, warm, and incredibly clean. The view of the lake was stunning—such a peaceful and relaxing backdrop. The bathroom was a highlight for me: spacious with a really nice shower that made it feel like a mini spa. The whole area had a calm, getaway vibe that was just what we needed. We’d definitely love to come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

We had a truly lovely stay with our two young children. The location is truly stunning. Waking and being able to look out at the river was incredibly relaxing. The house was beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It felt modern, clean and free from clutter, but also very cozy and inviting. It was well stocked and Tim was very responsive and friendly. The location really is special. We enjoyed fishing from the bank and having fires in the cool Spring nights. We can’t wait to be back for another stay! We all got some much needed R&R! What a gorgeous stay. My partner and I celebrated our five year anniversary here and each detail was perfect. The home is wonderfully curated, with stunning art, decor, puzzles, plates, you name it! And by the window, the feeders attract all kinds of birds that I’ve never seen so up close. Woodpeckers, cardinals, chickadees. You hardly need the TV, it’s so entertaining. The place is spotless and serene. And Rosy is so responsive while giving you complete privacy! You can tell she really cares about the experience she provides. If you’re looking to stay in an artfully cozy home, this is the place.

The Red Country Cottage was perfect for our 2 night getaway for myself, my daughter, and her friends to celebrate birthdays. They loved the rail trail, nearby Mexican restaurant and ice cream, and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. The cottage was lovely inside, set in a wooded lot with peaceful views out every window. Had everything we needed (as described) as well as thoughtful extra touches. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

We enjoyed a beautiful early spring stay on the farm with a group of 7 ladies, gathering for a chill bachelorette weekend in Cold Springs. The farmhouse was super cozy; great for cooking, crafting, games, tea time, outdoor wine picnics, star gazing at night in the hot tub and making friends with the chickens! A great retreat spot for groups with all the amenities!

This was our second time coming to this house for spring break with our friends. We really enjoyed our time here. The kids had a blast. In fact, they were the ones that were begging to come back this year. Great house. Super comfortable. Clean and bright! And the host are extremely responsive!

Carin's apartment was cozy and clean, a perfect place to rest after your adventures. It is very close to the train tracks and there were complimentary ear plugs on the bedside table, if you need them. The sound of the train did not bother us at all but we are very used to it. Carin was very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend Carin's place for your stay in Kingston!

Graham’s airbnb is the perfect place for your stay at Beacon. The airbnb was so clean and cozy. Would love to come back and visit!

Can't think of a better option to the local hotels while visiting my son at Bard. Very comfortable, eclectic, and scenic - with a friendly host and the sweetest cats! Make friends with Kaboodle for free snuggles. Will definitely return next visit. Thanks Tim!

The task of reviewing Bosun's Crack is challenging. Not because we didn't enjoy ourselves— but because whatever review that we submit will appear as pedestrian riff-raff from the hoi polloi, compared to Julian's ebulliently hospitable guide that he very much proactively shared with us several days before our arrival— featuring a comprehensive overview of Kingston's most trafficked trading posts, which definitely made our stay much more enjoyable that it would have been otherwise! We'll elaborate. From the Jacques-Louis David shower curtain and the certifiably delightful towel dryer in the bathroom, to the Passolini prints and plentiful picks of pasta— the attention to details were both fantastical and bucolic. Our dog loved the nookish alcove and may have annoyed the friendly cat upstairs, but we couldn't tell! Don't stay here, because we would prefer to keep this place clandestine for those who truly will appreciate the experience. But stay here, because it's eclectically lovely.

I was so impressed with Annmarie’s attention to detail and amenities. She thought of EVERYTHING to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable, and was so easy to communicate with! I will definitely come back if I am in the area. So grateful for her and my amazing weekend stay!

Great stay at Bill’s place during the start of the beautiful Fall color in the mid Hudson valley! In town to visit my son, a student at the Culinary Institute of Anerica, we also went to the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck and toured the Vanderbilt and FDR homes in Hyde Park. It was just an hour drive to a waterfall hike at Kaaterskill falls. The apartment was well appointment, bottled water in the fridge, well stocked kitchen utensils and cookware, and so many towels. The stairs within this apartment are steep, so take this into consideration if you want to book this place and you have any mobility issues. Great shower, shampoo, body wash provided. We felt safe and at home right away. Located at the north end of Poughkeepsie, as you are going into Hyde Park, so in a really great location. Close to grocery store and restaurants like Starbucks, Jersey Mike’s, Chipotle. Bill was quick to respond to any question and I would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed here many times and always love coming back! Our dog thoroughly enjoyed running around the back yard and wading in the stream.
