The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

Huize Carmiggelt is a high-quality finished cottage of 40 m2. It is decorated in the style of the 1950s, but with all modern conveniences. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and there is central heating and wifi. Huize Carmiggelt is on the edge of a quiet holiday park, directly adjacent to the forest (Hoge Kempen National Park). Maastricht is only 15 minutes away by car. There are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities in the area. A perfect place for a getaway for two!

There are also nice cities a short distance away. For example, the center of Maastricht is a 10-minute drive and Maasmechelen village shopping center is a 15-minute drive. The cottage is fully available for the guests. For example, there is a fire bowl, tandem bicycle, LP player, TV, radio and guitar.

Slow down in this unique, soothing accommodation. The house is located right across from the Loonse Duinen National Park on a dead-end road, you only have to cross and you are on the hiking trails of the dunes as well as the mountain bike routes. Just 10 minutes away by bike is the amusement park De Efteling. Beekse Bergen Beach Park/Safari Park is 16 km away. De Biesbosch National Park is 50 km away. Whirlpool is available all year round for a small additional fee.
