We were allowed to spend an unforgettable week at the "Old Painters House". Already upon arrival, it becomes clear: the location is an absolute dream. Quiet location, right on the water and off the small country road, great for unwinding. The decor is not only tasteful and cozy, but also designed with a lot of love for detail. Especially the large bedroom with its wide view over the surrounding meadows appealed to us. A real highlight was the observation of thousands of nuns geese – right from the bed! Nature up close without leaving the house. A short walk leads over a small dock to Sieltor, from where you can enjoy a great view of Ems and Dollart. The next rolls are a bit away, but of the best quality. Conclusion: A wonderful holiday home with a very special atmosphere, in the middle of a quiet, inspiring environment. A week full of peace, nature and well-being – we will be happy to come back!

Very nice place with very friendly hosts.

Achim's house in East Frisia is perfect for a family vacation or group of friends! The many rooms and the size of the living and dining area (open kitchen) offer retreats as well as space for communal activities; the well-kept and large garden is very inviting to play. The barbecue area behind the pond (is fenced, smaller children and dogs are protected) is covered, so even in bad weather you have the opportunity to sit outside. The kitchen is super equipped - like everything in this house, functional and thoughtful! We were there in April and more in the House as planned - the underfloor heating and the conservatory (great views) have beautified our stay there. The location is great: tours to the Great - and Eternal Sea by bike are possible; by car you can quickly get to Emden, Aurich or Greetsiel. In the village, there is also a lot to discover (e.g. museum, tea puffs). - Thank you, Achim!

Beautiful house with everything you need. We felt very comfortable. Holiday village still under construction, therefore sometimes construction noise and a very bumpy road. The construction noise was not disruptive. We particularly like the large bathroom with the infrared sauna. The fenced garden for the dog was just perfect. The house is very tastefully decorated. We will be happy to come back.

A beautiful place to find peace and unwind. We were able to relax here with our association but also work wonderfully. We have already been to one another twice. The weekend for next year is already booked. Fully recommend.

Beautiful home and incredibly friendly people helpful and very welcoming. But one note if you have a dog you have to look for a place to let them run freely. Incidentally, a big thumb!!!!

It was a completely successful vacation. The contact with the landlord was very good! Especially the pool and play facilities were excellent. Horseback riding was always a highlight for our granddaughter. We filled up very well in the apartment, everything corresponded to the description and the pictures.

A great swimming pool, a great collection of games, high chair, etc. - a small playground. We felt very comfortable and friendly with the child:)

We had a fantastic stay at Anne's place. Our car passed away on arrival, so we didn't arrive until 1 o'clock at night. Anne explained the way to the cottage with pictures and even put drinks cold for us. The cottage is really great, very cozily furnished, very clean and the beds are super comfy( and smell totally good!) Kitchen and bathroom utensils were abundant. The whole house has big windows, you can watch the birds from the bed. The garden is a highlight, everywhere there are seating in small niches, outside the front door is even a herb pot with fresh herbs. Our daughter loved playing in the garden and climbing the trees. For my birthday, I got flowers and sparkling wine, which I really loved. Anne is very hospitable and fun, always available, just a very warm person. We got a lot of excursion tips. We'd love to come back.

First of all, the place was really fantastic. It was very green with a beautiful view. The location is on a small lake that you can also enjoy hiking around (with the dog). The apartment was very clean and everything was well arranged. We were well received and given a clear tour. Our German is not so good but Lena spoke fine English so we could do everything. In the room, there was a personal card and a nice piece of cake. We were with our little dog and everything was also well arranged for this. There was a bowl and water bowl and even some treats. All in all had a lovely stay

It was just super nice. I rarely felt right at home on a vacation. The accommodation was nice, clean and everything you need from the bottle opener to coffee filter everything was there. In the "children's room" we had to improvise something with the curtains because our children sleep dark at home but with all the amenities we were allowed to experience there, we just exchanged the rooms within the apartment. One of the best vacations for us. Michaela and Markus are great hosts and have an open ear at all times. We will come more often for sure. Our daughter Anni didn't want to get away from all the great horses that were so sweet and Michaela who was very empathetic to Anni. We're looking forward to seeing you again. Thank you for everything.

We felt completely comfortable with Josefa. Especially our dog was delighted and clearly welcome. The fenced area is great for letting the dog run and in the apartment even two bowls were waiting for him. Communication was also great and we would be happy to come back!

Just right for peace seekers and nature lovers: Reinhard and Jutta's tiny house In an idyll surrounded by tall trees, Reinhard and Jutta have lovingly furnished their tiny house and offer their guests a true oasis of relaxation. As you can see in the photos, the house has a large veranda overlooking the garden. In the morning you can pamper yourself with Fairtrade coffee roasted by the hosts, before making your way to the nearby Barkeler Busch with the many lakes. There you can take long walks through the untouched nature. If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of the big city behind and enjoy the course of nature instead, this tiny house is just right. Hosts Reinhard and Jutta also sweeten the stay with a huge range of organic food and other Fairtrade products.

Everything was very good :) very nice place :)

I enjoyed the week in the small, muggy cottage very much. I was able to cook myself or go to one of the many restaurants or cafes in the area, which are quickly accessible due to the location of the accommodation. All in all highly recommended.

We had a lovely time staying at Larissa's cottage. There was everything you needed to take a week's vacation. But the place captivates above all by its great location. Perfect for walking a dog with the dog right in the morning. Also an ideal starting point to cycle to, for example, Emden, Pilsum and Greetsiel. Communication with Larissa was possible at any time and very accommodating.

We were super satisfied. Will definitely be back. Even with a baby, Kevin makes everything possible. We can only say thank you.

It is a magical place, the house is so lovingly furnished, everything you need is there and the surroundings are simply beautiful to discover by bike, the train station nearby as well as the supermarket makes things round. If you want to relax in the countryside and quiet, Jonathan is the place to be.
