We had an amazing stay, we hiked up behind the home and saw some beautiful waterfalls. The home was warm and inviting, and the hot tub was perfect!

I loved the tiny town this AirBnB is in. It is so quiet and beautiful and has a nice small town vibe. The apartment is lovely and very well cared for. I loved that the bedroom got dark at night because not all the ones we’ve stayed in have.

The cottage is cozy, spotless and spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped for some serious cooking. Heating works great and covers the whole unit. The location is far out of the town about 25 minutes drive on a gravel road. Stock up before check-in is almost a must. Also, check the weather because the road condition in and out could determine your travel to and fro. The host is very responsive. I had no communication problem during my stay.

Perfectly clean place, lovely and responsive host, overall all according to description- beautiful view from the window. It was just a stop for us on our way to the north, but we could relax and unwind a bit.

The kitchen had all the essentials — cookware, oven, coffee maker — and the bathroom was spacious and in great condition. The temperature was easy to control, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. A highlight of the house was the stunning artwork in every room, which made the place feel unique and special. The location was peaceful, next to a beautiful horse farm, and just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir. We were lucky to see the Aurora Borealis right from the house’s big windows — a magical experience! Our host was very helpful, even informing us about the Aurora Borealis and quickly responding to any questions. Her recommendations made our stay even better. The house was perfect for our group of 5, with comfy beds, plenty of space, fast Wi-Fi, and a cozy atmosphere created by the decor and artwork. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
