The "Little Kate" with the thatched cottage and the garden house is located on an approximately 10,000 square meter property. Meadows, moor areas, old trees, form the surroundings. The floor space is approximately 50 square meters. The room is between 2.2 m in the conservatory and 4.6 m in the dining area. A wooden ladder leads to the sleeping level. The bed is (2 x 1.4) m. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be used on the first floor. The house was completely renovated in 2019. An approx. 35 sqm terrace is included.

The apartment is the extension of a very well maintained Kehdinger half-timbered house, surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden with cozy seats and children's play equipment. Enjoy the seclusion from everyday work in the middle of bog meadows, not far from the Elbe dyke and the historic old town of Stade.

Ten minutes by car to the Elbe beach, a quarter of an hour to the idyllic Stade, a good hour to Hamburg - with separate access, private balcony and seating in the garden. Most of the furniture comes from antique or junk, yet the apartment and kitchen are state-of-the-art equipped (smart TV, Wi-Fi, induction stove, dishwasher, etc.).

Peace, relaxation and pure nature guarantee a relaxing holiday experience. On not so nice days, the fireplace provides coziness. The kitchen is well equipped and has two induction plates, a small mini oven, coffee maker, toaster, and a smoothie maker

Small historic thatched roof skates from the 18th century! Monumental thatched roof skates directly on the old Elbe dyke near Krautsand. Very quietly located in a cul-de-sac. An optimal place to relax. Krautsand is about 4 km away and has a beautiful sandy beach. Just outside the door you will find the Elberadweg where you can take great tours by bike or on foot. The apartment with private access has a living room-bedroom, a pantry-kitchen & a shower room. Ideal for cycling tourists who want to get to know the holiday region Altes Land am Elbstrom & Kehdingen with its varied landscape and diverse sights. Car/bicycle parking available.

Between the orchards

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Welcome to our small and lovingly furnished thatched cottage "Kleine Auszeit." Here between the moor and the Elbe, you can really enjoy your well-deserved vacation. The wooden terrace with garden furniture and barbecue invites you to linger. If you feel like taking a canoe tour, our canoe is at your disposal, because opposite our cottage there is a canal on which you can drive around a little between meadows and fields.

Our simple little house offers a well-equipped pantry, shower room/toilet, dining area, cozy sofa and tiled stove on the first floor. On the upper floor (space-saving stairs, see photos) box spring bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), satellite TV, large desk with view. In front of the cottage is a pretty little garden seating area with private dike access. We look forward to seeing you!

Just six kilometers from the old town of Stade lies this small, cozy, former bakery. It offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation - from the sun terrace to the washing machine. Enjoy quiet hours on the sun terrace in summer and a cozy fire in the oven in winter. The house is surrounded by a large, wild garden - here you can really unwind.
