Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Enjoy a relaxing stay on this luxury sailing yacht in the old center of Enkhuizen. You always book the entire yacht for yourself. You can enjoy a lovely walk here, visit numerous museums, dine or have a drink on one of the terraces on the water. Sailing with this classic two-master is also possible, with our experienced skipper. There are 2 showers with hot water on board plus 2 toilets. Relax and unwind in our detached cottage in a natural setting, right next to the church in the heart of Oostwoud! Enjoy the vistas over the farmyard and the fields towards Abbekerk, Twisk/Opperdoes and Medemblik. Look out over through fishing and waterways. Rent a boat or a sup and hit the water! Nature reserve "the egbutzwater" is nearby and the beach the sweet sea at Medemblik is also worth it. Cycling, walking, sailing or by car? You can go anywhere here!

The garden was redesigned in November 2022, there are various seats also on wide water. Your car can be parked on the quiet parking lot 150 meters from the house.

Our newly remodeled house is in the heart of the ancient city of Enkhuizen. It is 70 m2 with two bedrooms, a large living room, fully equipped kitchen and a small deck terrace with a beautiful view. The house is very close to the train station, and only a few minutes walk to some of the best restaurants and sailboat viewing in town. It is perfect for a long stay or a short holiday!
