“Absolutely Amazing! This suite was romantic and cozy and perfect for our quick couples getaway! It was obvious that Susan, the host, implemented many thoughtful touches...and the gas fireplace and hot tub were fabulous bonuses we thoroughly enjoyed! We will definitely be looking to book a stay here again...😊”
The Loftie is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy the tranquility of country life. Perfect for anyone looking to escape the city of TO in less than an hour, seeking a place to just talk and enjoy nature or anyone who needs a secluded spot for rest, relaxation and contemplation.
“We stayed at the bunkie on a cold winter night in December. The bunkie was just as shown, small and cozy, sequestered from the noise of everyday life. We managed to stay warm even though the temperatures dipped quite low. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and the wonderful heated blankets which were quite a nice touch. This bunkie is highly recommended and we would love to come back.”
A bright queen sized bedroom suite with a private entrance ideally nestled in the quaint hamlet of Alton. A great location if you're in town for a weekend wedding or taking in the picturesque rolling hills of Caledon with all of it's restaurants, one-of-a-kind shops, galleries, fine art studios and spas.
“This place is fabulous and absolutely beautiful. Go to His restaurant too. The food is gorgeous and tastes amazing. Check on Facebook for the daily specials. Get in early to the bakery for fresh bread, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, etc. Orangeville is not to far away. Recommend getting a rental for the area. Uber is $15.80 per trip, adding tip your looking at $30.00+ versus a $23-35 a day rental. Alton is a great place to stay if your a late in life college student like myself. It’s far enough away from the dorms but, has plenty to do. If your flexible. There’s yoga, art and cooking classes. Hiking trails, the Mill has a great museum with local artists and a history tour. There is no grocer in Alton. There is a beauty shop that is amazing just from the staff alone next door to the restaurant. In all this town has the most friendly open minded people I’ve ever met. Small town feel with deep roots and great atmosphere. Enjoy!”
