“Wow, what a cool experience. If you want to see how a family lives I cannot recommend this place enough. This is not a luxury resort, but rather a tradition home complete with a very welcoming family and excellent host. Najib is an exceptionally warm and welcoming person and takes great pride in providing a meaningful stay to his guests. He provided us with a wonderful lunch upon arrival and then showed us around his entire home and garden. He and his family grow many types of fruits and vegetables along with wheat and palms. The garden is a beautiful oasis in the desert. Najib talked to us for hours about what life is like for him and his family in Morocco. We had a comfortable nights sleep with windows open into the garden. This is a truly special opportunity to live along side a wonderful family in a beautiful, traditional home. He also coordinated our transfer to the airport, and offered other sightseeing opportunities in the local area.”

“This Airbnb is situated in a stunning location, near the main road between Fez and Merzouga. I advice travellers to spend here at least 2 days after travelling either way. The peacefulness after the Souk in Fez is wonderful, or if you come here after Merzouga, you might thoroughly enjoy the lush Palmeria behind Ali’s home. Ali is a very hospitable and friendly host and his home is wonderful authentic, bed was very comfortable. My highlight was the 4 hours walk through the Gorges de Ziz, you don’t need to be super fit, you can go your own tempo, the reward at the end, visiting his Nomad friends and their flock of adorable goats, sharing tea, open fire, seeing bread being made on the griddle, do not miss out!!!!”
A welcoming and friendly cottage surrounded by an oasis on the banks of the river Ziz, allows to enjoy the calm of the region and to recharge. Your view has no limit but the mountains of the Ziz Gorge all around. A decor that transports both day and night!
“A fantastic stopover driving from Merzouga to Fez. The setting is spectacular, in the Ziz Gorge next to the river and oasis and with a view of the old kasbah (do take a walk across the river to explore the ruins). The evening meal was really tasty and excellent value, the inclusive breakfast plentiful and the owners are really welcoming and helpful. Loved the quirky architecture too and the fire in the dining room made it very cosy in December. Thoroughly recommend.”
