Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Europe

Stayed at Ian’s place with my partner and 3 children for 1 night. Ian was really helpful with questions I had asked, replying instantly. I was looking for a place that was clean and not grubby as my 14 month old is crawling and the photos looked great but also the reviews were key for me to picking this place. Very nice accommodation, very well located in a quiet area, near a beautiful forest. Franck is very welcoming. We really enjoyed the place and will be happy to come back.

Although we were busy travelling and didn’t have much time to enjoy this wonderful space, it had a home like feel for us to rest our heads after long days discovering nearby areas, along with visits to Copenhagen, day trips to Sweden & and overnight stay in Germany. Laust was very responsive to address any of our needs. Our stay was over Christmas & New Year holidays visiting family members, so we weren’t able to enjoy the lovely terrace or gardens on the property. The location is ideal and within walking distance to the beach. It’s also a short 15 minute drive to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and approximately 30 minute drive to Kronborg Castle. We hope to return in the future to enjoy the outdoor space! We very much appreciate the use of this spacious accommodation during our stay, with attentive hosts!

It was exactly what we needed and we could make ourselves at home.

Organised a stag do here for 13 of us, everyone loved it. The House was great, had everything we needed, so we didn’t have to leave the site for activities. We were lucky with the weather so basically stayed by the pool and jacuzzi all weekend and enjoyed the great views the property had to offer. Paul was a great host who was very helpful and was there to answer any questions straight away. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Vila Rafa! The house is clean, large and practical. The kitchen is very well equipped and the garden is a peaceful oasis (which is also safe for children - away from the busy street). Rafael has been a wonderful host: discreet but always available when we needed some tips to get around. We definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at 4! The apartment is great, it feels good!!! This yellow tiles are in love with this yellow tile☀️🤩. Very well laid down, hot water. Everything is charming and we felt good in Spain because of the atmosphere, the laundry room, the skylights. We feasted at Marcel's at the foot of the building and we laughed!! The neighborhood is clean, lively but quiet and pleasant! Recommended +++

Valentina is an exceptional person, she was always at our disposal and helped us very quickly in case of need..... the village is beautiful and very quiet ☺️

A great host, the location was perfect. Perfect for long or short stays in Barcelona. We felt right at home.

We enjoyed the vacation with Damir and Nadja very much. Very nice place to stay, great location with proximity to great bays and Pula. You only notice the city if you want to. The beach is within sight of the accommodation, the children had a lot of fun diving in the clear water there. In the evening, we very often used the great outdoor kitchen. Stay also recommended in October: hardly any tourists, pleasant temperatures, swimming and being outside in the evening was possible on almost every day. Absolute recommendation!

As people who regularly use Airbnb properties when travelling we have to say that Natali's place is one of if not the best place that we have stayed in. Natali is exceptionally communicative throughout and the little touches that she adds (water and juice in the fridge, biscuits on the side for when we arrived, arranging taxi transfers for us to and from the ferry terminal, recommending the best places for food, drink etc, and messaging to help with enquiries about ferry transfers, trips etc, letting us know where spare beach towels, snorkels etc are kept for us to borrow) just make her the most friendly and attentive host. The property itself was spotlessly clean and stylishly furnished throughout. All the usual amenities are provided and the outdoor bath, seating areas and sun loungers provided make it feel extra special. Location of the property is ideal being only a short walk from the centre of Hvar. We really felt at home here and are already planning our return next year!

The host met us at the place whenever we checked in. Our host was great! They have instructions on how to work appliances, quick response times for questions and even gave us recommendations for local spots. The place was very clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed. The location is great! Since the apartment is just a block from Sagrada Família, it is the perfect place to walk, ride the metro, or taxi throughout the city. I have it a 5/5 because we truly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this place to friends and family.

It was amazing days at the lake Como, for sure we will come back, I felt like at home!

We had a wonderful stay at Anssi's apartment. It was very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed using the sauna. Anssi was very helpful with our questions before we arrived and even helped me by checking the apartment when I thought I had left a jumper behind after we left. It turned out that I hadn't left it behind anyway.

The host was wonderful, the service was exceptional and the location was convenient to many coffee shops & restaurants and the beach. The apartment was pleasant, clean, and aesthetic

Comfortable Stay in a Peaceful Area I stayed for three nights in this peaceful residential area, close to the Aura Department Store and a Bangladeshi minimarket. The unit has three lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was great for our group. However, there are no locks on the doors, and the rooms are not soundproof; I could easily hear my friends talking. The kitchen is well-equipped with various seasonings, but it’s inconvenient that using the washing machine and dryer isn’t allowed between 8 pm and 9 am, especially for early risers heading out for excursions. A major drawback was the renovation work in the unit below, which started at 8 am and went until 4 pm, creating absolutely disruptive drilling and knocking noise throughout the day. Despite these issues, the location and amenities made for a decent stay overall.

Very well equipped apartment in a magnificent location. There was nothing missing. Dominic and Marina have always responded very quickly and gave valuable tips for leisure activities nearby. We had a wonderful time. Thank you 😊

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Ines’s apartment. The location is a short walk to most restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and of course, the beautiful beach. It’s located very centrally in Albufeira and Old Town is approximately a 20-25 minute walk. The apartment itself had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed having a balcony to sit out on in the mornings or to enjoy a drink after a long day of exploring the area. Ines was wonderful to deal with and was very prompt to respond to any of our questions. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to one day return to beautiful Portugal!! Such a lovely place!
