  • Brian was so great! He let us check in early and stopped by to make sure we were settled in and give us recommendations. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

  • Brian’s condo was extremely clean and organized. He has handy amenities like phone chargers, bicycles, and coffee. The only small area of improvement is to add simple items to the kitchen e.g. salt and pepper shakers, small bottle of olive oil for cooking. All in all, we had a great stay and definitely will bookmark it to potentially stay there again in future.

  • Brian’s place was spotless clean! His welcome book offered WiFi, travel, local info & even emergency info. We had plenty towels & wash cloths & even coffee was provided. Loved the easy access keypad & Brian worked with us on our off the schedule check in! This location is super close to Downtown yet away from the traffic. Thanks Brian for being fantastic, we will def be back!

This tiny home is the perfect place for one or a couple! You'll be less than one mile from the capitol building (downtown) and within walking distance to many cute restaurants and coffee shops, tucked away in the back yard for abounding privacy! Enjoy the spacious shared backyard for a picnic or perhaps a few drinks under the stars!
This is a tiny house cottage in the back yard behind two small duplexes. This space does not have a living room as it is a studio. It has one open room with a kitchenette, a queen memory foam bed and an adjoining bathroom with a standing shower only. The exterior door is the only entrance and exit, and it is accessed from the large shared backyard space. There is a smart TV facing the bed for you!
  • Super cute tiny home! Would definitely stay here again!

Eastside HQ's just that – our sweet ‘lil abode has some serious pizazz! She’s honestly the best bedroom in the house & we’re frankly a wee jealous you get to relish in her laidback sunny charm more than we do ;) Just like Austin’s own eastside: sometimes a quiet exterior holds pockets of colour & character all their own. Eastside HQ provides just the right amenities to make you feel nice & settled. Your room's equipped with a smart tv, mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker.
We love our home because she's an old house built in the '30's with great bones & an awesome vibe. Because she's an older house, we get to enjoy the charms that come with a space that has such a rich history. We strive always to make sure she's as tip-top as she can be. Big beautiful windows provide lots of natural light, but the room can easily be dimmed with the thick blinds. Beers, water, coffee and tea provided. Plus your own microwave and refrigerator.
Close to E. 12th St. and just minutes from 1-35. About a 5 minute drive to downtown.
  • Comfortable and private space with proximity to a lot of fun spots!

  • Robbie was friendly

    Haekyu2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Robbie and Tanya’s place was exactly what I was looking for: good value and a great location with easy access to many parts of central Austin and walkable to coffee shops and restaurants. I also really appreciated a lot of small touches that made the space comfortable (wall hooks in the room, coffee/fridge/microwave, motion lights in the hallway, extra towels and personal care products clearly visible in the hallway). The dogs are pretty cute, too, a great welcoming committee! I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I’m in town.

    Becca2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very thorough visitors guide to local restaurants and shops was much appreciated! I loved just walking around the neighborhood, very charming. All was as advertised in the profile.

    Nicholas2018-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised. Not far from the center, in the middle of cool East Austin.. Both hosts were great, responsive and kind. Good choice for a stay in East Austin.

  • This is not "Lauren's place" this is Elliot's place. When I messaged/and called her that my flight had landed. She had no idea what I was talking about. She acted annoyed I was there from the moment I walked in. Maybe don't list yourself as a host if you don't actually want people in your house. Elliot was nicer and works from home. But he plays loud techno music all day and night if he is home. He is home often. When I asked him to turn it down, he did but the very next day he had it on loud again. I understand this is his home, but not very considerate of other roommates or guests your hosting. I luckily can fall asleep easily.I had my dog with me and he was pretty good, except for the one time i left him in the room and he barked. They messaged me and I came right back to get him and apologized. I think there was another roommate also who I barely saw, and also she barely acknowledged my presence when I did see her and said hi. The location and back yard were great. But if you're looking for a quiet place the lay your head this is not it. Maybe if you're coming to Austin to party and will barely be in the house. The house was also pretty clean. Also, 420 friendly which I didn't mind. Loudness and coldness of hosts I did.

    Gladys2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location close to nightlife and BBQ places like Franklin BBQ.

    Roger2019-09-17T00:00:00Z

    Josh2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a cockroach infested party house with blackout drinkers who turn the stereo up to 11 randomly at 2am, this listing is for you! While it does list “potential for noise” what that actually means is to expect BLARING techno music out of the blue at 2am and loud sex all afternoon (y’all, my client heard them over our Zoom call and was HORRIFIED. I lost the client.) The host is actually a man named Eliot, not “Lauren,” who told me the guest before me also left early because of noise. Other things to note: the place was being treated for a cockroach infestation while I was there, and there is no lock on the door. Some drunk girl wandered into my room at 3am. He did NOT refund me, despite costing me a client and misleading people about his listing. (Oh, and “luxury” listing my a$s - it’s a room in a run down house on the east side.)

    Kristen2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time!

    Jadah2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a private detached house located in the East Side of Austin, where I wanted to stay for a music festival. The bedroom and shared bath are five steps from the front door. It is a 25 minute walk to 6th Street (downtown), and there is a bus stop about a minute away, or a more frequent bus about a five minute walk that goes past the George Washington Carver Museum & Genealogy Center and also a local branch of the Austin Public Library, open Mon-Sat at 10AM (great for wi-fi). There are also a few electric scooter services in Austin and you are likely to find a scooter on the sidewalk within a few blocks of the house. The rooms were spotless; the air conditioning worked perfectly. The big mattress was firm and the towels were plush. You might hear conversation from residents in the living room or kitchen; this did not bother me. I would stay here again.

Cozy backyard cabin with a minimal kitchen, maximum cool. There is one queen size bed in the loft , a fold out couch in the living room. And a cot in the shed. The yard is fenced off from the main house with its own entry gate on the side street. Small animals ok, no attack dogs, under 20 pounds.
At the entrance there is a good size deck with a table and two chairs and a chaise lounge. The great room is the main living space. The bathroom with a no curb shower is at the back off the living room. The mini kitchen is to the right of the living room. There is a small step down, so watch your step. The loft stairs are a bit steep , just to the right at entry . Tall people watch your head as you enter the loft.
Quickie Pickie is the de facto meetup spot. Great mochas! The Ironworks BBQ is a good substitute while Franklins BBQ while it is getting rebuilt. Justine’s is great food, as is Magnolia.
  • We had a very comfortable time. Jake’s place was well equipped and quiet in a convenient location. We slept well. It’s a quiet neighbourhood and the ac is good.

    Laurie2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Jake's place! It is close to all kinds of fun and great restaurants/bars. Easy access to the airport, fun amenities provided like bikes and kayaks, and a lovely garden space. A little piece of Austin heaven.

    Kate2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place was adorable! Loved the artsy vibe and that it didn’t take long at all to get anywhere. The upstairs gets a little warm but wasn’t bad at night. Would definitely come back!

  • This place is great. It’s within waking distance to three great restaurants, including Franklin’s if you fancy a long wait. The space is really comfortable, with nice amenities, and a really nice yard. We would definitely stay here again.

Are you looking for somewhere a little different to stay? This back house is a converted artist's workshop situated in the shade of a giant oak tree. It invites reflection amidst stained glass views and tree-lofted contemplative ease. It is where delight and the unexpected meet, through a secret garden gate, just for you. Amidst items that tell a story, the sanctuary will encourage you to reflect on your own. Awaiting is your own creative retreat and quiet time for connecting within.
This sanctuary in the midst of vibrant east Austin is an ideal place to recharge. Generous windows and glass doors look out into a shaded yard with dappled light and an outdoor patio. The interior has an equipped kitchen, shower with garden view, and a sumptuously appointed queen memory foam bed located at the opposite end of the living space. It features a feather stuffed sofa and a long built in standing height desk looking out onto the yard. There is access to fiber internet (wireless or wired). The light filled kitchen kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove and the implements you will need to craft whatever deliciousness calls to you. City of Austin Operating License # 096563
Central East Austin is a diverse and eclectic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. It is the kind of neighborhood where you feel like you are somewhere particular, somewhere that is specific to a place. In addition to being the location of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. In the last century, highway 35 was a tool of segregation, with east (of 35) Austin providing a rich community for African Americans. See how this history lives on through a plethora of old and new businesses is this burgeoning neighborhood!
  • This is the kind of place that embodies a wonderful AirBnB spot to me because Pete and Julie have taken care to create a space with wonderful atmosphere and style. It’s accented with craftsman touches, like beautiful wood and vintage stained glass windows, and gets plenty of light through windows that look out on a sprawling tree and serene little garden. Just an excellent, special vibe all around, and I felt instantly at home in this comfy hideaway. Top marks on cleanliness and there’s a great shower setup as well. If you get to meet Julie or Pete, it’s a real treasure. They’re relaxed and personable, and full of suggestions if you’re new to Austin. The location is on a quiet street in the East Austin area, which has a hipster vibe and the best eateries, bars, and coffee shops. There’s a great coffee shop at the end of the street, and you can walk to the rest of the neighborhood spots within 15 minutes or so. I highly recommend this place!

    Ruth2019-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The space is beautiful, stylish, and the hosts are very welcoming. The house is very cute and comfortable and just a short walk to all of the great spots on the East Side. My girlfriend and I were there for a long weekend and we were sorry to leave!

    Colin2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful stay!! This place is gorgeous and has everything you need. It's very private and check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Julie and Pete’s place was amazing! We arrived to find a super sweet note, letting us know they’d left treats for us in the fridge/freezer - and this treats were amazing! The place was immaculate. And super cute! We loved the garden, and spent quite a lot of time out there. The cutest thing was the outdoor tub! Inside, there were all the comforts of home. There’s not a tv, but we didn’t even notice. And I’m a person who always has the tv on! I loved all the natural light. The home was very open, but I was with my boyfriend and we enjoyed it so much. The location was perfect — just outside of the hustle and bustle, but 6 minutes in an uber to the fun of downtown. Also, there were several bars and restaurants extremely close to this place. My favorite was quickie pickie — the tacos were A+ and I loved the people who worked there. I have to be in Austin monthly for work, and I will definitely stay at their place again! xx

    Erin2019-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at Julie and Pete's place. Everything was great, the place was very relaxing and we were surprised with how adorable the courtyard was. We enjoyed our tea outside in the morning with a cute kitty. Would recommend to anyone!

Charming, contemporarily furnished studio/guesthouse in the heart of East Austin. Just couple blocks away from amazing restaurants, bbq, cafes, bars, breweries, and so much more. Unbeatable location with Downtown, Convention Center, Rainey and Red River districts, TownLake Bike Trail and UT only minutes away. The airport and COTA are 15 min away. Perfect for weekend getaway, business trip or cozy home base while exploring everything Austin has to offer.
New contemporary studio/guesthouse, part of a home completed in 2018. Very bright and airy with high windows and a private keyless entry, detached from the main house where I live. Eclectic and modern furniture with pieces collected from my travels around the world. Refreshments stocked fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Modern bathroom with 12 foot waterfall shower and basic toiletries. Super comfortable queen size bed with new soft cotton bedding that will accommodate up to two people comfortably. Kitchen, washer/dryer, and roof top deck (with amazing downtown views) in the main house are available upon request. You'll have access to high speed internet and SmartTV with Netflix and all other streaming services. Parking is available within the gated driveway and remote gate opener will be provided for easier access. Additional parking spot is available next to the house.
East Austin is the "it" neighborhood. Chock full or restaurants, bars, boutiques, and BBQ, it's a stone's throw from everything. Take a stroll around the neighborhood to check out its colorful bungalows old and new, hit up Franklin's or la Barbecue for some to-die-for BBQ, or grab an espresso at the neighborhood brew shops, Cuvée and Figure 8 Coffee. Also, East Austin love note wouldn’t be complete without The White Horse, the eclectic, storied and hipster-friendly honky tonk that defies definition.
  • Natasa's Airbnb is great for a solo traveler or a couple. The studio is a bit small but with very high ceilings and loads of natural light its was way more spacious then it seemed! It was the perfect amount of space for my boyfriend and me. The studio was very clean and had plenty of amenities that we used (the shower is amazing!!). Our stay was during November so when it cooled down outside the heater/air condition unit was able to heat the studio up quickly. Natasa was able to accommodate our needs by allowing us to check-in the airbnb before the designated check-in time. Check-in was very easy and exactly as described and included helpful photos. The location of the studio was great too! It was in walking distances to many restaurants, food trucks, coffee shops and bars! Easy 7-15 minute car ride to all other areas of downtown Austin. Uber is very cheap and only cost about $5-$15 depending on distance and time of day. We would definitely stay in Natasa's studio Airbnb again!

    Amanda2018-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Natasa is an excellent host: friendly, communicative and very knowledgable about Austin. Can't wait to head back there!

    Rachel2018-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Getting to here can be a bit confusing if you're not used to entering through alleyways but it's a cozy studio with great amenities!

    Eric2018-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great space! Brand new studio in a brand new complex that has a high-end feeling to it. It feels like you are staying in a very nice hotel room. Although it is a studio, it does not feel small at all. Very high ceilings, large closet, GREAT shower. The shower has a rain style shower head as well as a very large normal shower head. The bathroom is stocked with towels, and a few little bathroom accessories if you forgot your own. The bed was very comfortable. The space was super clean and modern. There is air condition and a ceiling fan that work well. There is a mini fridge that she keeps stocked with a few little snacks, drinks, and even a couple beers. There is also a little coffee maker to use. Private parking inside of an automatic gate, which she provides you with the remote when you arrive. Location was perfect, as it was a short uber ride to anything downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

  • Airstream Dream This is such a cute place to stay! We loved it here! It was squeaky clean, the beds were comfortable, and (important for us Scandinavians who aren’t used to temperatures over 25C (77F): the AC was good. The Airstream served as a nice base for our Austin exploration, perfect for a little midday nap when the heat became was unbearable. If you looking to stay somewhere different, this is it.

    Øyvind2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing. Quiet, clean, and amazing location close to everything. I don't think we ever waited more than 2 minutes for a lyft. Hosts were super sweet, and the airstream was just a blast to stay in. Straight out of pinterest! Also beds are INCREDIBLY comfortable. Don't stay in a hotel... stay here! This was my first time in Austin, and staying here made it that much more memorable.

  • Very nice and quiet place. I could sleep well. While the place is not "hidden", it is out of the way enough to make a quiet get away. If you are going to stay a while, I would ask Gina to suggest some good places to shop for food. I didn't need it but I could imagine someone else would.

  • Great place and Gina was on top of communication! Very reliable and recommend to anyone staying in Austin on a budget.

    Hide2018-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Gina was a great host! The apartment was perfectly located in East Austin, with plenty to do, see, and eat within a walking (or biking) distance. We had a small issue with the apartment, and Gina was extremely easy to contact and resolved the problem even on christmas eve!!! Cannot recommend more.

    Isabelle2018-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was a very bright and inviting studio. Within walking distance to Franklin Barbecue, which was my primary destination. Gina was a great communicator once I asked her questions before booking the unit, and she was also very quick to respond to any questions I had once there. I felt very welcome and the studio enhanced my stay in Austin.

  • Gina's was incredibly communicative with the check in process as well as offering great travel tips around the location. Thank you for such great hospitality.

  • Amazing view and very friendly host.

  • Gina and her place are terrific! Great host and even better pad. This is a place I will be returning too! I would recommend this to family and to friends, it’s the real deal!

  • Gina was incredibly responsive and gave us awesome recommendations. The place was in a great location; centrally located, yet still quiet, and easy to get to various neighborhoods. It was clean, had everything we needed and perfect for us. I would absolutely recommend her and the spot! We had the perfect weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place or host!

Urban loft style studio condo in East Austin. Nestled among food carts, restaurants, lots of neat shops and services. Just a few minutes drive to all of Austin. There is a queen size bed, round table for dining or work area, beautiful kitchen and neat deck with a cute view of the neighborhood. There is a designated parking space. There is a new in unit washer/dryer. There is no television. There is a minimum 7 day stay.
This is bright and sunny apartment with a great view. Also, there are many stores and shops right outside the door so you can always grab a snack or a meal or a drink within one block of the property.
This is a funky neighborhood just minutes to downtown and all of Austin. I like it because there are lots of food trucks, small and funky restaurants and a few bars nearby. The Quickie Pickie in front is a restaurant/store that has everything from homemade quiche and pecan pie to free wifi.
  • This wee bachelor apartment was in a fantastic location - easy walking distance to town (or jump on the local bus that comes every 15 minutes right outside - or the night owl 485 up to 3am). It is above a Quickie Pickie (great local convenience store and taco place), near Franklin’s BBQ (but it seems you have to queue at 6am some days for an 11am opening to get your choice), and near Paper Boy food-truck. The bachelor suite style space itself had everything you need (no TV but we didn’t want one). Tony responded quickly to all questions and checked in to see that all was well.

  • This was my first time ever staying in an AirBnB and what a wonderful experience it was! It was in an excellent location within walking distance of a lot of great places and nearby eats. The check in was very simple and the apartment was clean and tidy. We took advantage of the balcony quite a bit as it has a pretty decent view of the city. I think the only things I would suggest (from a woman's point of view) was brighter lighting in the bathroom and a full length mirror, but that's being pretty picky. The host was responsive and very polite. I will be trying to snag this for future visits!

  • Anthony’s place was great. Awesome location. Easy access.

    Jeff2019-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment, with all amenities you may need during your stay. Perfect location, just a short walk from bars, restaurants and food trucks. Anthony was a great host.

  • Great location

    Brianna2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • This location is fantastic and the place is really lovely. Beats staying at a hotel for sure. Navigating the check in and check out was very easy. The laundry was a great bonus! Would stay here again.

    Rahim2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great studio, close to everything in town! We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely do it again. Anthony is a great host!

    Lais2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at the apartment for 6 weeks in total and I loved every minute of it. Its clean, cosy, has stable Internet and the neighbourhood has a nice athmosphere. The pictures are just how it is in real life. I can only recommend this place and hope to come back, 5 out of 5! Good to know: There is Quickie Pickie, a cute and friendly convenient store with loads of beer on the tap next door that also serves good tacos. And dont forget to check out Micklethwait next block for an amazing bbq and the Dominican food truck across the street for great empanadas. Enjoy!

Refresh in an enormous rain shower tiled in serene green glass. Elsewhere, tall ceilings ensure an airy atmosphere and plenty of natural light, while the swivel-mounted Smart TV can be watched in comfort from both the sectional sofa and the bed.
The space, recently built is naturally light, airy and open. It has a kingsize bed, 400 thread count sheets and lots of pillows. The sectional sofa was custom built to fit the space and the smart television can be watched comfortably from both it or the bed as it is mounted to the wall and swivels. The bathroom and shower are truly special. The enormous shower is tiled in the most serene green glass and the rain shower head is delicious. Location is what really makes the flat great. It is within walking distance to many of Austin's great bars and restaurants as well as the Capitol and UT sports venues. Guests have access to wifi, washer/dryer, small kitchen with fridge, sink, French press coffee and toaster oven. Off street parking is also available. Having lived in Austin for 16 years, I am happy to offer recommendations on where to eat and drink and what to see and do. I love the neighborhood because of its walkability and proximity to so many of Austin's great landmarks and attractions. Public transit is available, cars to go, bike rental are all options. To map specific bus routes and times please go to (website hidden) trip planner.
Take a short stroll to some of Austin's favorite restaurants and bars, including Franklin BBQ, Ramen Tatsu-ya, and Nickel City. The walkable neighborhood is also close to many of the city's landmarks and other attractions.
  • The flat was in a great location-close, but not too close to downtown. Very accessible and had everything we needed. The shower was lovely but be warned there is no door. And we had an unfortunate cold and rainy weekend so the place was a bit cold, but the heating unit did its job. I can imagine in hot Texas weather the cement flooring is heaven. Bed was super comfortable too! The wifi never worked while we were there. Kristine was super responsive but we never got it to work. Not a huge deal but just a heads up in case you are relying on it.

    Veronica2015-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Would stay here again!

    Craig2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kristine made it so easy to check in and out but the real treat about this stay was the space - so charming! I will be coming back to Austin for business a few times in the next year and plan to stay here whenever it's available. So clean and comfortable, too and the location is fantastic!

    Elizabeth2015-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, convenient space. Our first time in Austin and we loved it.

    Tom2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Kristine's for a girl's weekend in Austin. She accommodated an early arrival for us (thank you again!!) and the location was an easy cab ride for all of the neighborhoods.

    Abbie2016-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • The host family was very quiet. I met Casey and his daughter when I arrived but didn't see anyone after that day. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to the university campus. The cottage was lovely and convenient with a beautiful shower!

    Shanda2014-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful little place. Clean, cozy and comfortable with a spacious bathroom with a giant open shower and natural light. Would definitely stay here again.

  • This Airbnb is tucked in a cute neighborhood that is very close to downtown Austin. It is very easy to get around. The space is large and has lots of nice touches. The bathroom is huge and the shower is great. The bed is also large and very comfortable. Thank you for opening your home to us.

  • The place was the perfect spot to stay while in town! Very cozy, & safe. Located on a more quiet street, but close to great restaurants and bars. Peter was availed or questions & it is apparent that he takes pride in your experience at his home. Overall it was great! Would definitely stay again.

  • Peter's home is lovely. He's a super host with great taste of decor. His home is in an ideal location with being walking distance to a lot of places including the famous Franklin's BBQ. Communication with him was great, access to the property was very easy, had its own gated parking spot too. Would stay again if passing by.

Listen to the rustle of leafy trees on the shared rooftop deck of this centrally located, modern guest suite. The home has an understated, minimalist aesthetic and features a full kitchen with bright, open windows and convenient in-unit laundry.
New modern guest suite complete with a full kitchen, bathroom and in-unit laundry. It gets plenty of natural light and is quiet and cozy while being only a few blocks from eating, drinking and entertainment.
The home is situated on a quiet residential street that is conveniently located within walking distance of all that east 6th and 11th streets have to offer. Austin's exciting east side is walkable to all the bars, restaurants, and fun.
  • These guys have an incredible home! The location was so close to all of my favorite places! I picked the studio based on the pictures and the awesome style, and I was not disappointed when I checked in! They left a notebook to write a note in and record my stay, which I thought was pretty rad. The bed was super comfy, which caused issues getting up in the morning 😂. I loved the natural lighting that the space offered. Very calm and relaxing!

  • Michael's place is perfect - we didn't want to leave. The photos don't do the place justice! It is close to plenty of great restaurants and walking distance to many cool areas. I would recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Austin.

  • What a perfect spot. Stunning building and property and the wonderfully residential location. Would definitely stay again. Michael was incredibly communicative as well – couldn't have been a better host.

    Claire2019-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as described and the whole process was very smooth. The location is great for being both tucked into the neighborhood but also quite close to a lot of neat east side places (we went to East Side Pies and Quickie Pickie, both very good.) A short, cheap Fasten to venues downtown (maybe walkable for some but it was too hot for us to walk!)

    Shannon2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Leona St was a great place. Very modern and clean. Beautiful view from the kitchen. Location was perfect to easily get to places in Austin. The host was very helpful. We look forward to staying there again when back in Austin.

  • Michael's guest house was amazing, exactly the kind of place that you want to stay at in Austin. It's close to everything but in a nice quiet neighbourhood. With modern appliances including a washer and dryer, this place is perfect and extremely handy when travelling. Michael also went out of his way to make us feel at home and had great local suggestions for us to check out. What are you waiting for?! Book this gorgeous guesthouse today :)

Stay in a retro 60s camper and experience the quintessential Austin vacation. A short walking distance to downtown, East 6th Street, Franklin BBQ, Via 313, East Side King, Launderette, White Horse, and more hip, East Austin entertainment.
NOTE: I keep my calendar up to date so don't hesitate to Instant Book. If the dates are not available, message me because I have several other listings. Stay for a long weekend while you visit Austin, or make this your landing spot while you get permanently settled in Austin. The 16 ft retro camper in an enclosed patio next to the house I live in. The camper has 2 convertible beds that accommodate up to three people if you don't mind sleeping tight. The 2nd bed is not a full length but is great for kids, side sleepers, spooners, or small frames. The bathroom is also a tight spot and has a sit down shower set-up. The camper has a microwave, fridge, gas stove, AC/Heat, Blue Tooth stereo or USB/AUX adaptor, and is equipped with basic kitchenware. Take the loaner bicycles for spin around Lady Bird Lake or relax in the backyard with the chickens Dixie, Delta Burke, Blanche, & Rose (named after favorite sitcoms Golden Girls and Designing Women).
The camper is on a quiet street in East Austin between 11th and 12th on Comal. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shopping and groceries nearby. The location is a 5 minute Uber ride, or 15-20 minutes biking & walking distance to downtown, the university, local eateries, bars and food trailers: Franklin BBQ, White Horse, East Side Pies, East End Wines, Eastside King, Qui, (Paul Qui winner of Top Chef), and more... • Angel was a great host and the camper was super cute and really comfy. Would definitely stay there again!

    Penelope2016-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very unique stay and something different to try out. A cute little place and Angel offered fresh eggs from her chickens which made for a great breakfast from our little kitchenette. The outside shower was fun too. In the summer, Angel's place might be a bit of hike to most attractions on foot. Check with her before going to see if she has her bikes back up and operational so that you can use them. Since they weren't working when we were there, it costs us at least a $5 Lyft for each place we went. Also, if anybody staying with you is very tall it might not be a good choice. My other half is 6'2" and practically had to crawl in and out of the bathroom. It was funny for me to watch but not very fun for him!

    Pam2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Though I didn't get to meet Angel, I had a lovely stay. Everything was very clearly explained. Super cute and cozy stay, perfect for my work trip.

    Tayler2015-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • I just want to say everyone should have a outside shower. The location was awesome super close to everything. Having the bikes to get on in the morning to go grab coffee and ride around town a little was so nice. Angel was so laid back and easy to work with super attentive to our needs. 👍👍👍

    Wendy2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • This trailer is FANCY! So new! And it was so cute! Definitely cozy quarters...but we loved it. Great location - and we loved the chickens. It was a great weekend and we definitely won't forget it or the awesome quirkiness of our lodgings :)

    Phoebe2016-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I spent just under a week at Angel's place. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Austin. Highly recommend. The heater was definitely a highlight considering it was Winter and rather freezing :-) Angel was easy to communicate with before, during our stay and upon departure. Thanks a ton Angel.

    Chrissie (Ariana)2016-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had good experience at the Roadside Attraction. The space was exactly as advertised: it's very cozy and cute, pretty small, but it's in a campervan so that should be expected! Angel was very kind and left us some eggs from her cute little chickens. The location was good go experiencing Austin like a local, but we needed to use public transport to get most places, it's a pretty long walk from most of the places downtown, and even further from Zilker Park. We didn't mind that, because we got to really get to know Austin. Our only complaint was that we didn't always feel 100% safe, the campervan is inside a car port, but it's just a sliding door which doesn't lock, and though the campervan itself locks, we felt a little exposed sometimes. Overall we had a lot of fun at the Roadside Attraction, and would recommend it.

    Caitlin2016-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Angel was great! She arrived shortly after we did and we chatted for a while, she was was very friendly and accommodating. Everything we needed was provided and she even brought us some fresh eggs from her chickens— I had no idea she had chickens around until she mentioned it, no smell or noises. The place was clean, private, and super cute. We'd stay here again!

  • I stayed with Angel for a month whilst working in Austin. The house was perfect for me as nearby to work and walking distance to some of my favourite spots. Angel made space for me to store my groceries and I was able to treat her house like a home. Nice water pressure in the shower and bright and sunny in the bedroom. Really peaceful neighbourhood. I did miss having a microwave, and noise travels easily between rooms in the house but neither was an issue. Enjoyed meeting and chatting with other guests over the course of the month also.

    Kel2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great Place! Six of us stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the time (especially the chickens). The house is cute, comfortable, and spacious. Angel gave clear directions about the house, neighborhood, and how to check in and out. She was also flexible with our check in time which was very helpful. The location is convenient and it's a nice walk to the East 6th St. restaurants and bars. The house and yard are so pleasant that we wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of them.

    Victoria2014-01-27T00:00:00Z

My place is right in the middle of vibrant East Austin. You’ll love staying here because we've incorporated minimalistic and eco-aware design throughout to give you a relaxing, rejuvenating, and calm space for you to call your own while in Austin. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and those with furry friends alike love this space.
Kick back and relax in our tiny home! Small, but packed with everything you need for comfortable stay including TV with Netflix, Bluetooth speaker for you to listen to, a kitchenette with dinner ware & utensils, and more. The French doors open to your own deck with outdoor seating for you to enjoy Austin nights!
Located in the artistic East Downtown, with its murals, live music, hole-in-the-wall bars, and casual dives. This house is less than a mile away from some of Austin's best restaurants & craft cocktail bars - Franklin Barbecue, Kuneho, East Side Kings, Hillside Farmacy, Takoba, Whisler's, Ah Sing Den, and many more.
  • Very cute (and very tiny) tiny home! Deck is wonderful and shaded in the morning hours (we visited in July). Futon is comfortable and so is foam mattress, but each will only fit one person comfortably. There is an exceptional coffee shop about two blocks away (Figure 8 Coffee) and a tasty bagel store a stone's throw from the tiny home. Location is very central and it's easy to get to popular parts of the city by car.

  • I really enjoyed the property. It was exactly what I needed for a quick trip. Parking was fine and the back yard was super cute. Just be ready to climb for your bed. the mattress is small and on the loft floor. Also don't expect much for headroom.

    Rosie2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • House was very cute. It felt very clean and had great natural light. It's a little awkward because it is in the backyard of a house with another trailer, so there isn't much privacy. The bed and futon were fairly uncomfortable. The house provided plenty of space for two people.

    Cara2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • This lil back house is great and comfortably located within walking distance of many eateries and places to drink. Inside it’s cozy and clean, and they had a large tv loaded with Netflix and a Bluetooth speaker that we used constantly. We enjoyed sleeping in the loft bed, just be warned it’s a twin mattress, so it’s gonna be snug for two. They do have a futon couch if you need more sleeping room. Overall, very nice stay.

Bright cute room in an old 20's renovated bungalow with lots of charm! Located in a funky up and coming East Austin neighborhood, and a very easy walk to East 6th, Webberville, and East 11th bars and restuarants. These include gems like Franklin BBQ, Figure 8 Coffee, Fleet, Kitty Cohens, Whistlers, Suerte, Hillside Pharmacy, Nickel City, Via 313, and East Side King. Recent Design Sponge feature: http://www.designsponge.com/2018/03/a-rustic-bungalow-in-austin-tx-celebrating-family.html
This house is a renovated 20's bungalow with a great front porch to enjoy a sunset cocktail hour. The bathroom is small, shared, and bare bones, but it's clean and cute with great water pressure, and your room has direct access to it. I am an interior designer so the shared living space is constantly changing with great art and decor.
East Austin is a very diverse quickly changing neighborhood. It's the coolest! There is so much close by: coffee, food trucks, bars, and the happening East 6th street scene, ALL within walking distance.
  • Avery's lovely BnB was exactly as advertised! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend for a wedding, and Avery was flexible to both our early check in and late check out requests! The space was hip and safe, and a quick Uber or Scooter anywhere we needed to go. We also got some good recommendations on shopping locations as the weekend was a bit chillier than anticipated. We would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again!

  • Avery’s place in East Austin was very cute and bed was extremely comfortable. Very easy to walk to a lot of cool restaurants, coffee shops, and music venue nearby. There was plenty of street parking around and felt safe in the neighborhood. Easy Lyft ride to downtown and other points of interest. Avery was really friendly and so were her two cats! She gave us some good recommendations for bbq/texmex. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Austin!

  • Avery is very sweet and her place is awesome! A great place to stay in Austin!

    Alexandra2019-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Avery's place was lovely; a beautifully kept and stylish home in a characterful neighbourhood. She knew the area well and was happy to help. Great host and home with two very friendly cats!

  • Cool room in south Austin near restaurants and bars on 6th. Avery is a great host too, with recommendations for hotspots nearby and flexible with last minute adjustments

Located in central east Austin. Clean sunny room with everything you need in an AirBNB. 5 minute car ride to downtown.
  • An absolutely lovely home where you can relax after a long day of taking in Austin. There's a nice desk, a deck with a view, and a large set of stairs. The house is next to a great coffee shop, and close to everything you need for your vacation (food, a barber shop, streets, etc). A nice place to rest if ever there were one.

    Jacob2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Greg was great! A real pleasure to stay with. Answered all my questions. Would use again!

    Ricardo2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Gregory's place is very well located to a lot of activities and Downtown, and certainly cheaper than downtown hotels. He was there when I arrived, gave me a tour, and I did not see him again during my stay, (did not need to) certainly non-invasive, and privacy was great. There is a little mold problem around the HVAC vent in the room, but I pointed that out, and am certain that he will get it fixed.

    Mickey2017-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Greg has a great little place that is going on in a cool neighborhood close to downtown. I was attending a conference at the convention center. It's a nice walk into town if you are a walker. I wish I'd had more time to explore the local neighborhood. Greg is a smart, interesting, and nice host and we had some great conversation. Very accommodating. Felt very welcoming and I would most definitely stay again. Thanks Greg!

    Wilfred2016-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • A nice place to stay. I appreciate the privacy and us both living there for a few days but not necessarily interacting.

    Kevin2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place is good value. And close enough to downtown so you can Uber / Lyft quite easily. Bed was comfy, and the shower was hot. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

    Dave2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • location was pretty good, close to bus stops and near a good bar with good pizza. greg was great, didn't get to meet him because our schedules didn't match up but he let us check in late at night and was flexible with our check out :) would stay again.

    Mauricio 2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first experience with AirBnb and it was pretty good. My boyfriend and I stayed at Greg's house for a day. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. He provided us with towels and extra blankets. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom so we didn't have to unpack ours. He was responsive all the time. He had to push back our check in time by an hour or so which was not a big deal for us. We ended up spending time at the Capitol State museum. He was kind enough to allow us to keep our bags for 4-5 hours after checkout time ( our flight was in the evening ). This was a great help for us since we could do more touristy stuff without worrying about bags. So we came back at around 4pm to collect our bags. The location is kinda secluded with nothing much around. There were couple of bus stops nearby - that was good. We tried buses, taxis, ridesharing apps. If you are here without a car then I would suggest using this app called "Fare" (which was similar to uber and cheaper than taxis). There is decent bus connectivity but it ended up taking more time than it should have. Overall a decent place for a good price!

Cozy little house in East Austin that's a 20 minute walk from downtown, and 10 from the legendary Franklin Barbecue. Explore east side nightlife, cute boutiques, river wandering, and food trucks galore. Located in a quiet neighborhood near a big park, it's the perfect home base for any Austin adventuring.
The space I'm offering is a very comfortable bedroom with a queen bed and a hutch with towels and an iron and plenty of extra space to store things. You'll have access to wifi, as well as the kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, and living area, where you may find me and/or my son hanging out reading or planning an adventure. Also, I fix guitars for a living, so I'll very likely be getting into the guts of an instrument at some point during your stay. You're more than welcome to hang out, but I won't bug you if you don't.
You'll be right across the street from a couple trendy bars, a cute boutique, and an art gallery. A walk in the other direction and you'll find delicious bagels and a cool coffee shop. Keep walking and you'll find the local library, phenomenal pizza (open late), a very hip convenience store, food trucks, a history museum, so much brunch, and then suddenly you'll be downtown.
  • Sam's place was a great spot for a quick weekend trip to Austin! The room and space were very clean and very comfortable! Check in was a breeze! Saw Sam a few times and he was a super nice host! Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice and easy home base in Austin! Great stay!!

Brand new! Modern studio located in the heart of hip East Austin just two miles from downtown. Unbeatable location - amazing restaurants, BBQ, food trucks, bars, breweries, and art galleries are a few short blocks away; downtown, Lady Bird Lake bike trail, UT, Rainey St, and Red River district are all minutes away. Perfect for a weekend getaway, business trip, or your home base while exploring everything Austin has to offer.
This bright and airy detached studio is private and has its own paved entrance. My boyfriend and I live in the main house. Both houses are protected by a cedar fence and four security cameras. The studio was built in November 2018 and features a 12-foot rain shower, comfy queen bed, high-speed internet, a TV streaming Netflix and Amazon Video, a Keurig coffee machine, and a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary beverages and a bottle of wine. Also provided are plenty of towels, a hairdryer, Mrs. Meyers hand soap, and Nexxus shampoo and conditioner. The East Side is super hip and has tons going on - this is the ideal spot if you want to be in the center of authentic Austin and only minutes to downtown. There is a bike rental station less than a block away and several scooter pick-up locations are also on our block. Ubers are about $5 to downtown. There is one parking spot available, which is to the left of the garage. It is first come, first served, but usually available. There is also easy street parking.
  • This was our first time to Austin, and my first time booking an air bnb. I honestly could not ask for better. She was a super helpful host and gave us tons of suggestions for different types of food, places to go, things to see, and the amount of time it would take to get there via scooter/bike. Her place was amazing! It was spotless, cute, cozy, and was located in a very central area. We took the scooters everywhere. She set out some snacks, coffee, tea, water, and a bottle of wine for us. She had tons of towels for us to use, an extra blanket, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. I'd love to visit Austin again soon, and I would definitely book her place again.

    Jennifer2019-06-03T00:00:00Z

  • One of the best AirBNB’s we’ve ever stayed at! Amy is a great host, and her place is in a wonderful location! A quiet neighborhood in cool East Austin, with the luxury of being close to downtown & several ATX attractions. We did Lyft a few times and it was perfect. Everything was clean, and we were thankful for the amazing amenities, and thoughtful touches she had! There’s also a great bagel place right by as well! Overall great place & we hope to be back!

    Vanessa2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great timing staying in Amy’s beautiful casita. Bright, clean space that was close enough to all of the action of East Austin without being noisy or too in the middle of things. Would 100% stay at her place again.

    Nick2019-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Amy was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. The Modern Casita was a beautiful and clean space with nice amenities and thoughtful touches. Location is in a quiet neighborhood, only a short walk from some nice coffeeshops/local eats or short uber/lyft into the downtown area. Would love to stay again!

    Brynne2019-05-06T00:00:00Z

  • We had a wonderful time in angels place!! The beautifully decorated house is located in the hip east of Austin, close to everything. With the bikes you get everywhere even quicker. Angel and her boyfriend johnny were always willing to give us great suggestions for bars, restaurants and places to spend time. Without them we wouldn't have had such a good time.

    Hanna2014-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay for exploring Austin. Many thanks to Angel for all her tips; as we didn't have much time in the city they proved invaluable. Luckily my siblings and I were able to stay an extra night with her to make the most of our trip! Really liked the house's decor and the happy chickens outside. Thanks a million.

  • My wife Sara and I stayed in Angel's home for 2 nights. When we arrived the house was ready and we were able to let ourselves in. Angel came by a little later and welcomed us. She is very sweet and was more than helpful. The home is eclectic and comfortable. We had everything we needed and had a wonderful time. We will most definitely rent from Angel any time we are in Austin and her rental is available!!!

  • 10 out of 10. Clean, comfortable, and cozy. Very cool atmosphere. Fresh farm eggs! AND outside shower. Can't talk this place up enough. I hope I can stay there again.

  • This was my very first airbnb experience and one that will keep me an airbnb traveler for sure. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night. Angel is super friendly and was a great host. The house was very neat and clean. When we arrived Angel showed us the place and talked to us for a bit. She asked what we were interested in seeing/doing then suggested some great places to go. My boyfriend and I went out for dinner and some nightlife fun, all which was in walking distance from this location. That night I dreamt that Angel made us fried (literally fried in a frier) eggs for breakfast. When I woke up she was not frying us eggs BUT she did have fresh eggs for us in the fridge. (Fresh as in from right in the backyard). They were delicious! All around great experience. We plan to come back and stay at Angel's again, as should you!

  • I had a great time staying at Angel's place. Her home is beautiful and very comfortable. Angel was on hand to answer all questions and make the process super easy. I especially enjoyed spending time with the chickens & the vegetable garden. I'll most definitely be back when I next visit Austin.

  • We spent a really good time at Angel house. She's really helpfull and answer fast, even if she's not here! The house is clean and the kitchen is useful. The Anglel's bikes (in good conditions and confortable) are really useful to move to The capitol (10min) or Austin springs pool (30min). We recommend it!

Central East Austin is a diverse, eclectic neighborhood that is just a few minutes from downtown and yet still quiet. In addition to offering of some of Austin's best restaurants and music venues, it also has important history to explore. In the last century, highway 35 was a tool of segregation, with east (of 35) Austin providing a rich community for African Americans. See how this history lives on through a plethora of old and new businesses is this burgeoning neighborhood!
  • We had a wonderful stay. Super cute place overall. It felt fairly secluded behind the front gate, which was nice when we were having our morning coffee and tacos on the porch and letting the dog wander. The house was very clean, and the bed was super comfy. Hosts were helpful and attentive.

  • All around a wonderful place! Big windows and lots of light throughout the space make this a nice sanctuary on the eastside. Julie's added some really thoughtful features making this place unique and comfortable. The loft was a nice place to retreat from time to time and just relax. The locations great, just around the corner from Figure 8 coffee and a short walk to all the spots on east 6th. Parking, wifi, and all amenities were wonderful. They are great hosts and I'd absolutely stay at this place again!

    Marc2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Julie's place is fantastic. It's quirky, fun, comfy... in short, super Austin. I stayed here with my fiance and my parents and three of our pups and found the space very comfortable for all of us. Dad loved how "weird" it was (yes, Dad, Austin). I loved how thoughtful and bright and clean and open it was. Plus amazing gestures like cold drinks, yummy soaps, soft towels, and speakers to hook your phone up to. All the little things that make making yourself at home that much easier. We loved Julies place and will absolutely recommend it to friends!

    Elisa2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • We found another favorite place to stay in Austin! The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable located in a great neighborhood with an easy access to all the sites. Julie and Pete were wonderful hosts, responsive and understanding. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

  • This place is a gem and Hugo is super accommodating/responsive. The studio is located in a tree-filled back yard (full of singing birds) and has a delightful deck. All of the windows contribute to a very light-filled and sunny time and Hugo has equipped it very well. The location is fantastic, just in East Austin (Rosewood) and a few minutes walk away from great spots (pizza, tacos, bbq, bars). You can easily access downtown Austin by bike, walking 20 minutes, or a quick ride. Value for money was fantastic and I'd stay here next time I visit. Highly recommend.

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and mike made it wonderful. Definitely recommend!

  • Mike's place is great! He is super responsive and had the place set up very nice.

    James2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mike’s place is super cute! The entrance has a perfect walkway with an adorable landscape that gives the place personality. It’s a two-story little house that is nestled in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown and a lot good restaurants. There is also a library a short walk down the street. The place has two comfortable beds and a very nice shower. Thanks Mike for hosting your place. It was just the oasis I needed for the evening!

    Michelle2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mike offers a great private guest house with great amenities in a great location. He was friendly and helpful.

    Christian2018-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Mike’s place was outstanding. It was exactly what I needed for a 5-day/4-night trip to Austin. It was close to everything I needed, and if I needed to get a bit further out, a scooter, bike, or Lyft was available within minutes. The spot was flawless, clean, and basically perfect. I would definitely recommend this spot, especially if you were ‘Franklin BBQ hunting’ like I was. A short walk in the morning, and we were #5 in line! I highly recommend, Mike’s place will not disappoint!

    Lucas2019-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mikes place was great, exactly as described. Clean, well kept and with fresh towels and linens. Parking is on the street only and the location while not walkable is drivable to lots of cool Austin things. The neighborhood seems hit or miss, but his place was safe with a private entrance, good locks and totally worth it. If we came back to Austin we’d def stay there again.

Newly Built! Looking for a place for SXSW or other events in Austin? Look no further than this studio 2 miles from downtown! It's ideal for those who want be close to downtown but want to get away and relax from the hustle & bustle. Nestled in the creative vibes unique to East Austin, this studio is ideal for friends/couples that enjoy a hip & convenient location in Austin. With views of downtown from the roof top deck to bars & breweries within walking distance you won't find a better place!
This detached studio is private and has it's own paved entrance. My girlfriend and I live in the main house and both of these houses are guarded with a metal gate and 4 security cameras. Please note our entry is hard to find as we are a B unit with our entrance being the alley way. You will have 1 parking spot available which is to the left of the garage. It is first come first serve but is usually available. The studio was built in February 2018 and features 12 foot waterfall shower, google fiber, mini fridge, and complimentary coffee. I've added creamer, sugar as well as breakfast bars for our guests. I also provide super soft towels along with Malin + Goetz products. We have a smart TV with Hulu, Amazon Video, Showtime, Netflix and other movie channels. This is an ideal spot if you want to be closer to downtown but want to see another area of Austin. There is the metro rail that is a few blocks down the street that takes you directly to downtown but an Uber is $5 or so. We also have a Labradoodle puppy that lives with us that’s very friendly and loving! His name is Hudson and just wants to be petted and give kisses.
We live in the heart of the East Side with restaurants and bars around. We have a classic Mexican restaurant in front of us where you can get tacos on the fly. You can also walk to Kitty Cohens, Whistlers, Spun Icecream, La Barbeque (A MUST!) Gourmounds, Cuvée Coffee, Counter Cafe and many more from our location. Breweries: Lazarus and Zilker Breweries are 8 mins walking distance and there is Blue Owl for sour beers, Friends and Allies Brewery, Hops and Grain (walking distance),
  • Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the tail end of SXSW! Griffin and Vanessa were extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. The location of their studio is perfectly placed on the East side, within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. The unit was stocked with any toiletry we needed, and a convenient mini fridge as well! Parking is simple and fairly easy to find. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

    James2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Griffin and Vanessa’s place was perfect for my super quick one night stay. They were excellent at communication, checkin was easy, and the place was super clean, bed very comfy!

  • Great space! Our main criteria was finding somewhere centrally located and this place did the trick. You are a quick scooter ride to many great restaurants and bars! Very cool utilization of space too -- now we want to build one of these units in our backyard!

This neighborhood is amazing! Although you're only .5 miles from downtown (less than a 4 minute drive during non-event weekends), and within a short walk to bus lines. Uber and Lyft cost $5 to get DT and my home is on a quiet residential street with plenty of street parking always available.
  • Room was cutely decorated and bed was comfy! Peter was out of town but was easy to communicate with, putting us in touch with his friend who was very friendly and very responsive! There was no actual working tv in the room despite the listing description. Otherwise, it was a great convenient location to explore from!

    Vickie2016-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience and I really enjoyed Peters place. He was traveling at the time but his cohost Frank was great and stopped by to check in on us. Getting around was very easy, would definitely stay again.

    Ciara2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • I do not recommend the place to the people, who are looking for a place so that they can roam around in the neighborhood in evening. The area looks dark and gloomy. The room looked different than the listed pictures for now, because of actual ambiance and different lights. The bathroom door did not have a lock on it. It was my worst stay till now, among all the BnB's I have been to. I saw couple of mosquitoes as soon as I entered into the place. The listed price in lower than the final price. Cleaning charge for me was too much in the final price. Lower listed price in the search criteria and the tag of superhost deceived me in opting for this BnB, which I realize after staying was a bad decision. From my experience and stay, I was confused "how can this host be marked as superhost?" Maybe it worked out pretty good for others, but it was not really good. Among the messages, I had exchanged with the host, he also mentioned about his superhost status. I always find weird and bad, when someone tries to gloat and boast. I just want to write that for me, It was very bad experience staying at this place.

  • Denise was super kind and welcoming! The place was exactly as described; the bed was super comfy and the room was decorated with touches that made it feel homey. Loved the walk in tiled shower! Denise greeted us and offered us a local beer upon arrival. She was flexible with our arrival time. This was our first time visiting Austin, and we asked Denise for some recommendations. She was so sweet and helpful! She wrote up some detailed notes just for us! Thankfully, she also told us about Franklin BBQ - we went and waited in line the next morning for lunch. DEFINITELY worth it! We would stay with Denise again when we find ourselves back in Austin!

    Christina2015-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Best place to stay in Austin! Steps away from greeeat coffee and Peter is super friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood. Make sure to ask him for local recommendations. Thanks Peter!

    Simon2016-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • TL;DR Peter is great. You will feel at home. I would definitely AirBnB here again. Peter is one of the nicest, warmest people I have had the pleasure of meeting in Austin. I travel to Austin for work, and decided to stay for the weekend with my boyfriend. We truly felt like we were getting the local experience – as if Peter's home were our own. The bed is comfortable and the room is fully stocked with a personal A/C unit, a Keurig machine, water, snacks, TV, and WiFi. We had a private bathroom stocked with toiletries (Khiel's face wash!), a hair dryer, curling iron... I think there might have even been some sort of aroma therapy. Besides the living/bathing quarters, Peter's house offers a full kitchen, living room, laundry room, backyard, parking spot AND a tiny house. Definitely request a tour of the Tiny House from Peter. It's pretty incredible – he also AirBnB's it out! Besides the physical accommodations, Peter's lovely dogs, Muddy and Penny were so fun to get to know. They were so sweet! In terms of getting to know Austin as a local, Peter spent a lot of time getting to know us, answering questions, and providing suggestions of where to go in Austin. One morning, we ran into Peter at Figure 8, a great coffee shop just down the street from Peter's house, and we ended up chatting for about an hour over breakfast. It was awesome. Thank you, Peter for helping to make our AirBnB stay so awesome!

    Sara2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Peter is the perfect host. The fact that he ensures that the suite is so well stocked with everything from snacks, water and cold beer to cold medication and toiletries shows that he cares about his guests. When he found out I had a cold he even offered to go out to get me something to help. The suite itself is exactly as described. I really appreciated the extensive cable TV package during my downtime. The location is extremely walkable and safe. A 10 minute walk to a couple of great microbreweries, 30 minute walk to great BBQ, live music, restaurants and the edge of the U of Texas campus. Ride share services were never more than 5 minutes away. Thanks for a fantastic stay, Peter!

    Fred2017-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this cozy home, artistically decorated and thoughtfully welcoming with all the amenities of home. Comfortable bed and nice roomy bathroom. There is a private entrance but we were very welcomed into the main living area as well. Denise is an awesome hostess who really makes an effort to help with dining and entertainment suggestions in Austin. The neighborhood is safe and convenient with quick access to downtown, the airport and the racetrack. We really enjoyed our stay!!

My place is right in the middle of vibrant East Austin. You’ll love my place because it's an amazing Airstream we call Olga – The Gypsy Queen. Not a single detail has been overlooked. We've designed this minimal space to provide one of the most unique, chill, and fun experiences in town. Couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers alike love this place!
  • Great value, great location, East Austin is amazing overall! Really close to a bunch of cool restaurants, food truck stands, and weird bars. The airstream is cozy, clean, and we'll lit.

  • We had a wonderful trip in Austin, thanks in part to Ojas and Danica's hospitality. The airstream was clean and easy to use and definitely fit all of our needs. Though the airbnb itself isn't surrounded by a lot, there are some excellent restaurant and bars just a few blocks away. Ojas and Danica were excellent hosts and were quick to respond to questions or concerns that we had. Thank you for everything!

Austin Weird and Groovy! We had so much fun decorating this place. We filled the walls with color and then sprinkled the House with Black & White touches. Our little home is the perfect size for 1-5 people. It features 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. The living room futon, unfolds into a Full size bed. Enjoy cooking in our large open kitchen or take a stroll to many food trucks, and quirky bars. Rated 1 of Austin’s best Old Fashioned’s can be found just down the street at Whisler’s.
The neighborhood is a taste of what makes the Eastside such an awesome scene, so much so everyone wants to have a bit of real-estate here. Our house interior is colorful (literally) w/neighbors who are vibrant & friendly. Just the right taste so you know why many people love calling the area home. In every direction a mere 5 minutes away is access to just about everything you need: the latest bars, a few clubs, restaurants, food trucks, shopping. You name it. Not to mention downtown is a 5 minute drive away, slightly more w/traffic. Or you could ditch the car, rent a bike & be downtown in under a 10 minute ride.
Guests are a 2 minute walk from Figure 8, sweet neighborhood cafe for your morn or aft coffee or tea. Head north for 3 - 5 minute drive & have a drink at some of our fav neighborhood bars like King Bee; Rio Rita The Wheel, Butterfly Bar to name a few. Hungry in that same direction & time are boss restaurants like Salty Sow, Dai Due, Contigo, yet again just a few. Just a bit further takes you to Airport which has a host of other restaurants & close as well is North Loop, home to other quaint bars & restaurants. Head 3 mins east of our sweet abode & you have access to yoga studios, more great bars, restaurants & food trucks. Nickel City; Blue Dahlia; Old Thousand. Seriously E11th is a great street, also houses Quickie Pickie, a retro food mart w/great food & drinks to purchase. Want to head south of our sweet dwelling the party just continues! There's more bars, restaurants, dancing, shopping & yoga. Welcome to East-6th my friends. Absolutely love it. Start at Whisler's for a drink, grab a snack from the onsite food trailer EastSide Kings; mosey on down for another quick drink & game of pool from Liberty Bar. Meander a bit further for a country dance & always wicked band at White Horse. Feel to strut your stuff to a different tune, pop into The Volstead to shake that tail-feather. Grab another drink & some food from the ever tasty Licha's. Then perhaps work that goodness off w/a zen yet sweaty yoga-sash at one of my haunts Practice Yoga. Our home is near it all. Cause I haven't even yet got to the fun nooks & crannies that downtown abates ;)
  • Nothing more to add to previous comments...although we did come for the Eastside Kings Blues festival which was in walking distance (and had some GREAT music!).

  • A wonderful hospitable experience. You can't go wrong with staying here, it's located next to coffee shops not too far from booming East 6th Street yet far enough away so that you can get some peace and quiet should you just like to chill after a long day of experiencing Austin.

    Albert2018-06-10T00:00:00Z

Brand new build! Modern studio located in the heart of East Austin just 1.5 miles from downtown. Unbeatable location with everything Austin has to offer only a short walk, bike ride, or Uber away. The space itself is very cozy and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the city. Nestled in the creative vibes unique to East Austin, this studio is ideal for friends/couples that enjoy a hip & convenient location in Austin.
This bright and airy detached studio is private and has its own paved entrance. I live in the main house, and my sister who co-hosts, lives less than 10 minutes away in Rainey Street District. The studio was built in November 2018 and features a standing shower, comfy queen bed, high-speed internet, a TV streaming Netflix and Hulu (no ads), a desk for working space, closet with hangers, extra comforter and an iron, a coffee maker with plenty of different options, and a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary beverages. Also provided are plenty of towels, a hairdryer, handsoap, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The East Side is super hip and has tons going on - this is the ideal spot if you want to be in the center of authentic Austin and only minutes to downtown.
East Austin is full of fun restaurants, bars, murals and unique coffee shops. We have created a guide book for you which you will find in the studio!
  • This would be perfect for a couple or a solo traveler - me and my partner stayed in the casita for 4 nights and it was the perfect space for visiting Austin. Would recommend!

    Hilde2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had such a wonderful time staying here during my time in Austin! Prior to the stay, Sami sent me a note with detailed instructions and I was also able to choose my own check-in time, which made it super convenient for me. The location is in the trendy East Austin neighborhood, so I could literally walk to a number of restaurants and coffee shops. Some of my favorite places nearby are: Rockstar Bagels, Figure 8 Coffee, + Quickie Pickie. It's also super close to downtown – I could honestly walk if the weather wasn't so warm (it's almost 105* F in Austin right now!), but Uber was super cheap. The space was remarkably clean and it was the perfect size for myself and my sister while we were visiting. I highly recommend staying here! For the location and price, it can't be beat.

    Liz2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • The description is spot on: a minimalist space, well-appointed, in a gentrifying area of Austin. It's walking distance to a bagel cafe for a quick breakfast. Good value.

    Robert2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sami was a great host! Easy to get a hold, quick self check in was awesome. Little house has everything you need for a nice few days in Austin!

  • The casita was adorable! Super clean. Very comfortable mattress, awesome shower, Hulu and Netflix on the Roku. An awesome location, at least two cool neighborhood bars and a bunch of great food walking distance. Parking was a breeze. Had a great great stay!

Super chic little condo apartment on the east side, super close to downtown! A queen memory foam in the master, a full memory foam in the other bedroom and a queen memory foam pull out couch make this a great place for six to cozy in for the night. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay from towels and toiletries to cookware and plush throw blankets, you'll be super comfy here for your whole stay!
This is one unit in a very small complex. If you're interested in more than one unit, please reach out! There is a large shared outdoor space with a propane grill, picnic tables, and small seating areas.

  • We came to Austin on a whim and it most definitely met and exceeded our expectations. The cottage was super clean and the host was quick to respond and super accommodating! Just short walk into downtown with a cute coffee shop a block away!

    Ashley2019-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This AirBnb is one of four apartments side by side in one building. It was perfectly clean, cute, and had everything we needed. The location is an easy walk to some good restaurants and food trucks (and great bagels!), and a short drive to lots of great places in Austin. There was fast, reliable wifi and hot water. If you are traveling in summer 2019, you should know that a building is being built directly next door, and construction starts at 8 am. Additionally, we were uncomfortably hot. There is a sign near the thermostat asking that it not be turned down below 70 degrees. It would have been great if it was anywhere near that temperature, but even with the air running constantly (supposedly at 70, but not even blowing out that cool) and the ceiling fans on, we found it hard to sleep because of the heat. Also, the ceiling fans and light in the front bedroom are connected to one of the other units somehow, which led to the light coming on or the fan being turned off suddenly when the other unit adjusted their settings.

  • Throroughly enjoyed my stay here! Super cute space, they had everything we needed. Easy access to all the places we needed to go to. Would definitely stay again!
