Bright and spacious master bedroom in large apartment. Quiet and cozy setting in a convenient central location just steps from downtown shops, restaurants, bike path, Unity Park, Discovery Center, Connecticut River and Turners Falls Dam.
  • Ashley was very friendly and had a cute and clean apartment which made me feel comfortable and cozy. Turner Falls looks like a lovely area but I spent most of my time in Brattleboro which was less than 30 min away. I recommend visiting!!

  • As advertised. Great location for a night out at the Shea theater or exploring western mass. Our first time trying a shared space and it was comfortable. Will do again!

  • What a great deal. Large, comfortable room with shared bath and kitchen. Worked well for my family of 4 with the kids camped out on the floor. The stairs are steep so only rent if that wont be a problem. Loads of good food within an easy walk.

  • A great place to stay! Awesome neighborhood and hosts. They have a few pets, but all of them are super sweet and will stay out of your way if you need them to. This town was so cute and had some beautiful hiking trails to see. The room is so much bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. Out of all my air bnb experiences, this was by far the best! 10/10!

  • Ashley is a great host. She is very responsive and helpful. She even cooked dinner for all and it was amazing. The apartment is in a great location with several food options nearby. Its a good place for dogs as well.

A cozy country home, we're surrounded by hay fields with big sky and beautiful views with many amenities nearby. Conveniently located 1 mile off Route 91, with easy access to points north (Brattleboro, VT, 15 minutes) and points south (Northampton, MA, 40 minutes). We welcome all walks of life and we are 420 friendly.
Our quaint and cozy dormer cape farmhouse was built in 1930 and is surrounded by several acres of hay fields, with a majestic line of sugar maples facing the street. With beautiful surroundings throughout the year, we’re within a 5 to 50 minute drive from places for: biking, hiking, fishing, boating, skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, as well as museums, first-rate restaurants and shopping. During the growing season there is a variety of organically grown berries and fruit available for sale from our garden, as well as freshly made jams, fruit syrups and other preserves year-round. In warm weather, sit out on the arbor-deck in the garden and enjoy beautiful views and sunsets, enjoy a meal or stargaze. Relax on the front porch and enjoy the neighbors’ draft horses and cows across the street. In cold weather we often have our old-fashioned cookstove going, which we use for cooking and baking, as well as a source of heat, and you can relax and read, watch TV, cable or a DVD, or just enjoy the warmth of the stove. Please note that while we are happy to have you enjoy it, we must ask that guests not use the cookstove on their own. We’re in a quiet, safe neighborhood; the elementary school is a half mile away and the police station only a mile away. It’s a ten minute drive to a full-size grocery store and twelve minutes to the Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Michael and I are discreet, laid-back hosts, and we try to accommodate schedules as best we can. If at all possible we would like you to check in by 9 pm and check out by noon, but with advance notice we can adjust our time requests. We are happy to work out other arrangements if possible when you let us know in advance.
Bernardston is a small town, about 2000 people. Farms abound, so scenery is pastoral and idyllic. For such a small town, we have quite a few amenities within a 20-minute walk or 1 mile drive to downtown Bernardston, which has: a bakery, diner, art gallery, two pizza and sandwich shops, a deli, convenience store, Dunkin’ Donuts, gas station and the lovely little Cushman library. If you walk in the opposite direction, it’s 15 minutes to Kringle Candle and The Farm Table restaurant, as well as the TownLine Creamie, a seasonal food and soft-serve ice cream stand. From our town website: "Bernardston is a small rural town in western Massachusetts, located in north central Franklin County, on the border between Massachusetts and Vermont. The town is 23.4 square miles in area, with a population of approximately 2100. The town enjoys an Open Town Meeting form of government, with a three member Board of Selectmen." • Cathryn and Michael were great hosts. My buddy Jeremy and I stayed over for one night in our travels to Killington mountain in Vermont, and had an incredible/experience. I have stayed at maybe 15 different AirBnb spots thus far, and this stay ranked up there in the top 3. Very friendly and great people to talk to. Will definitely be looking to stay there again in the bear future. Also it doesn't hurt that they are 420 friendly 😉 Thank you again Cathryn and Michael 👌🏼

If you love a funky, creative and eclectic bohemian environment, you will love it here! My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and bohemians of all ages. You'll have the privacy you need. The bedroom I am offering is called the Vintage Bower and features old records and memorabilia of that nature. If you need tips on the arts and music life in the Valley I have info for you. I prefer to meet guests before extending a booking longer than a week. If you have extenuating circumstances needing longer than one week, please contact me to explain your situation and we may be able to work out a special offer for your stay.
The Central Street neighborhood is very diverse. It is one block up on the Hill above the downtown. There are triple decker apartment buildings, single family homes of varying vintage from the 1870s to the 1930s, and a headstart preschool in an old school building. In this neighborhood are published authors and poets, experimental musicians, single mothers and children, business people, people with disabilities in group housing, artists, bikers, and all types of people. Generally this is a quiet street and people are friendly. It is very convenient to all of the town.
  • Lovely house, beautifully decorated room, warm host, nice location. Highly recommended!

  • Stayed at Nina second time. Everything was amazing as always. Great place, great host, super friendly cat!)

    Lavina2019-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nina's place was exactly what I needed - a quick place to rest and shower on my work trip. Her decor is eclectic and fun and Rusty the cat is super friendly! I drive an oversized van and there was plenty of parking available. Would definitely stay again!

    Kate2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Nina’s house is charming and quirky-cool. Rusty the cat is a sweet and friendly welcoming committee. The location was excellent for our trip to Mystic Pinball, totally walkable at 0.3 miles. Nina gave us a brief but friendly welcome, and we greatly appreciated the artistic flair of the place. However we did not sleep very well on the bed, which may be better for one person than two.

  • I really enjoy Nina's since it feels like a cozy and quirky home away from home. I love Turner's Falls as well! Overall I always have such a sweet visit there. And it's so affordable! I highly recommend it!

    Lainie2018-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nina's house was decorated in a charmingly eccentric, artistic manner. Nina was really clear and timely in her correspondence. Walking distance to a small downtown that has a little of everything- try the cinnamon roll at the Second Street Bakery. Oh man.

  • A wonderful place to stay. The hosts were friendly but unobtrusive. The scenery is just beautiful and truly peaceful. Stephen and Susan were also gracious enough to share fresh veggies from their garden and included little touches that made us feel welcome like extra blankets, sweets, towels and toiletries in case we forgot anything. It was a wonderful experience!

    Holly2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay at super comfy place. Everything was great. There were beautiful views from every window and it was very private, had the upstairs to myself. It was nice having a little kitchenette to enjoy my morning coffee. Will definitely be back!

  • Our stay at Stephen and Susan was the best. I felt right at home, and you can find everything you need. Stephen was really responsive and an amazing host. His property during fall season was amazing and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again when we’re back in MA.

This is an old house and full of art objects and colorful, funky style. It can be a bit drafty in winter. It has high ceilings and plaster walls, so will tend to be dustier than a modern house. Nevertheless, people find it very comfortable, and interesting, to visit here! As far as stays longer than one week, I prefer to meet you first before committing to such an arrangement, unless there are exceptional circumstances which we will work out together in advance. Please contact me with your request.

It was a very peaceful place for me to sleep after working overnights. Very convenient to get to the shops and restaurants downtown and she gave great references for local places.

  • I can't say enough about the studio that Johnathan and Christine have curated for Airbnb guests! They are thoughtful and generous people who have taken into consideration everything and anything you may desire on your stay. The space is immaculate without feeling sterile - from tasteful wall art, a couple small baskets of books and games, to the rich colors of beautiful floor rugs; the space welcomes you warmly and invites you to stay. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet close to many attractions for all seasons. The kitchen is equiped with pots and pans, seasonings, tea, coffee, new appliances, and a sweet little eating area. The Murphy bed is very comfortable, and well, able to be folded up should you want to set up a gameboard at the foot of the couch, or pull out your yoga mat to do some stretching! Communication with John and Christine is a breeze - they are very responsive should you have any questions during your stay. I accidentally left an item there upon leaving and Christine contacted me right away, and had it mailed out to me the very next day. All in all, an exemplary experience!

The Swanery is a custom-remodeled farm house on the Connecticut River, right next to the state park Barton Cove. It's walking distance to Turners Falls, ten minutes from Greenfield, 20 minutes from Brattleboro VT, and 35 minutes from Northampton. Living here are 2 very friendly cats and 1 extremely friendly dog who LOVES other dogs. Out back is a small pond and a little waterfall. There is a small fire pit. It even has wifi! The yard is entirely fenced in so dogs can run free.
A cross between a California Bungalow and a New England farm house, the house is beautiful and rustic. Guests have the upstairs to themselves (only the sitting room, which is attached to the guests' private bathroom, has some of the host's belongings.) The upstairs bathroom is small & difficult to photograph, but it contains a toilet, sink and shower and it is entirely private. Guests may share the large kitchen, music room and living room (with lots of sun and a picture window looking out over the river) and the large front porch. Laundry is available although guests must notify the host before using the dryer, as it is in a private space. The kitchen is large and beautiful. There's a music room with a piano and various other instruments. It looks out over the river (and the driveway.) An attached living room has couches and a large picture window looking out over the river, and... at 5pm it's the doggie parade! Everyone in the neighborhood walks their dogs past the house and it is fun to watch them. Constructive feedback (there is a suggestion book and a guest book) is always appreciated. The Swanery is always, and always will be, a work in progress. If you return you will likely see some of your own suggestions implemented! Small improvements are always in the works.
The Swanery is in a quiet little neighborhood of Gill, MA called Riverside. Down the road and around the bend is Barton Cove, a state park where you can rent boats and admire all sorts of waterfowl, and sometimes a beaver. Up the road the other way is the beautiful Turners Falls bridge, which crosses over the dam. The falls (and the house!) are viewable from the bridge. It's an easy walk or a two-minute drive to the burgeoning arts community of Turners Falls.
  • Great artsy space! Comfy bed. Immaculate

  • Jenna is a very hospitable host. I felt comfortable and would definitely stay there again.

    Jake2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Super artistic and unique throughout the entire house. Very comfortable private upstairs area where my six-year-old son and I felt at home. The decorations were so very colorful and eclectic. Very clean and organized. Jenna's landscape throughout the yard was very artistic also very colorful. Though we did not spend much time there, my son enjoyed the music room very much. There were two cats but we only met one of them and he was absolutely adorable and loved my son and I so much. He greeted us in the evening and was the first to greet us in the morning :-) the doggo was also extremely friendly but definitely very shy with my six-year-old as dogs are often with young children. Overall a really great place to stay! Thanks again Jenna!

  • We were in search of a place to stay that we could bring our fur baby, Finn, to, and Jenna’s home is such a gem! She and her amazing four-legged companion, Inara were so wonderful to Finn, they let him hangout and play with them while we went downtown to explore and see music. Also, Jenna is a wonderful and trustworthy host. She is easy to communicate with when booking and she creates a welcoming, easy going environment that’s full of color and fun artistic touches. If you’re looking for a comfortable, artsy, dog friendly place to stay, Jenna has got you covered! Thank you, Jenna and Inara for being such amazing hosts!!

Our studio space (250 sq ft) is separate from the main house and located on the outskirts of Greenfield MA. The location provides easy access to downtown, restaurants, shopping areas and Interstate 91. Modern decor, tiled artsy bathroom and sweeping views of Berkshire foothills make this a great choice for foliage season, summer recreation and choice winter skiing. Our house is 90 miles west of Boston, 60 miles north of Hartford and a 3-hour drive from the Canadian border.
Walk-in shower, 32 inch TV with Chromecast, high-speed WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/espresso/tea and lots of nice details in this living space. Full climate control with heating & cooling mini-split. The guest house does not have a full kitchen so we share this space as requested.
Our house is located in the rural section of Greenfield, about a mile from bucolic Greenfield Community College, the host of the annual Green River Festival. You need a car to stay in this location -- there is no public transportation or Uber service.
  • J J’s place was fantastic for our first visit to Happy Valley. They were incredibly friendly and the town was gorgeous. At night, we were able to see all the stars in the sky. The description of the place doesn’t do it justice: it was much better than we imagined. Very stylish touches. J J and his wife were very hospitable and friendly. They made themselves available to us for the entirety of our trip and said goodbye before we left. 10/10, would definitely visit again.

    Simone2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • JJs place is great! Close to shops and in the nicer part of town. It was a perfect place to stay and was very quite. The bathroom and shower were great, and I love how space was in the shower. Would recommend it to any looking to stay in the Greenfield area.

    Gabriel2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Skip booking a hotel room and stay at JJ’s! Spent the weekend in the area and enjoyed fishing on the CT river, kayaking at Barton’s cove, visiting local breweries and restaurants. JJ had some good tips and recommendations. Room was comfortable with microwave, fridge, coffee, clean towels, extra soap, awesome shower, nice AC unit etc. The perfect clean and cool spot to stay for our weekend spent in the sun!

  • JJ was a very helpful and attentive host, who we enjoyed meeting and he offered some great recommendations and shared some local tips that made our stay that much more memorable. Our accommodations were stylish, clean and comfortable.... who can ask for anything more? I certainly would recommend JJ’s place to friends and family.

  • It was a wonderful stay. We are very happy with the property. It was exactly as we expected. Martina made our stay very comfortable. Thank you.

    Galih2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Martina lives two houses down from this house which is really an apartment on the ground level and apartments upstairs that are long term renters. Martina greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around. She left fresh strawberries, fresh local coffee and some other staples and snacks for us, which was very kind. There were 4 of us--my husband, me and our two adult children. The apartment was very spacious and they had their own space and we had ours. Our bathroom was off the kitchen which was not a problem since we had only our children with us. If you are going as friends or as couples, be sure you would be comfortable with coming out of the bathroom when there are people in the kitchen. The other bathroom is connected to a bedroom in the other part of the house and not as convenient as the one in the kitchen. There is a laundry room too. And two places to sit outside...the front porch and the side of the house.

    Mary Lou2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Martha’s place was extremely spacious, quiet, sparkling clean, and beautifully decorated. It was such a wonderful retreat for me and I would be happy to stay here again. It was incredibly easy to check in which really made my stay enjoyable, as I arrived late after work and left early in the morning. I highly recommend Staying here.

    Grace2019-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay. The place was as described and quite spacious. A snow storm delayed our arrival, but Martina was accommodating and made sure the driveway and entryway were cleared of snow when we finally got there. We had several nights of good sleep and would definitely stay again.

    Douglas2017-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Martina's place. It was quiet and very private. There is good separation between the bedrooms so you really feel like you have your own space. We could walk to restaurants, coffee shops, the library, the movie theater and the coop. It was also a short drive to Amherst and Northampton.

    Kellie2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful! The apartment was perfect and the host was wonderfully accommodating, even with our crazy last minute schedule changes. We would highly recommend!

    Bradley2016-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house was spotless and well appointed in a great location, and Martina was a sweet and attentive host. The pictures don't do the house justice. Seriously. The space is huge with cozy and pretty furniture and bedding. The street is super quiet and we were plenty warm despite the subzero temps. Greenfield is a small city with decent offerings and just a short drive to Brattelboro and Amherst. The house was a 5-10 minute walk to the town center, and we dined at the truly excellent Hope and Olive, recommended by our host. What a great suggestion! Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Our older, well loved home is centrally located a short walk from downtown Greenfield. It is the perfect spot to stay on your trip through the Berkshires as we are less than 5 minutes off of I 91 and route 2. We are 7 minutes from local boarding schools, and 25 minutes from the 5 colleges in Amherst and Northampton. Restaurants, great views, music, and family-friendly activities are nearby. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
A clean, private, and charming 2 bedroom apartment with large windows for a picturesque tree top view. It is spacious and has lots of light. The apartment has a private entrance via exterior stairs. Please note it is on the 3rd floor. We happily keep it stocked with breakfast items, coffee, tea, and fruit.
Our location is great because we are in a family friendly and outdoor adventure hub. We have the convenience of in town living, such as a 24 hour CVS, and laundromat around the corner. We have great local restaurants, a movie theatre, canoeing, and a brand new skate park, all within a 15 minute radius!
  • Amazing place to stay! Super cute and a great location. Stairs are steep to get to the apartment, but so worth it!

  • Sarah went beyond her call of duty to make sure our stay was perfect and it sure was. The bathroom was immaculate, the kitchen well-equipped and she even stored breakfast goodies for us in the refrigerator that were very much appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and the place was just cozy, clean and organized. Thanks Sarah! We will come back!

  • Sarah's place was spectacular! It really was our home away from home. The apartment is super clean... stylish... and well arranged. You have a nice backdrop of the garden too. It's just a really peaceful place and we now wished we would have stayed longer. Sarah is very responsive. She and her husband are very nice and also respectful of your privacy. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, and other food items like pasta and pasta sauce. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to stay again!!!

We have huge floor to ceiling screened in windows, 5 acres of rolling property with amazing views, a babbling brook and a river nearby. We are a 10 minute walk from a clean river stocked with fish, and there is hiking nearby. If you love animals, this is the place to be! We have chickens and ducks. We love meeting , welcoming, and taking care of people. My guests leave as friends!
We have a cozy private room upstairs fully furnished with a King size bed. It is located right across the hall from our full bath that has both a large tub and a separate shower. I am a potter and can give you potters wheel lessons. We also have about half an acre of blue berry bushes and many varying fruit trees that will be working full time this summer. We also have a van with a bed for 2 short people or kids. My husband and I find it very comfy. We are both short, though.
This is a very rural area, with a population of about 600. The closest store is twelve minutes away. The closest town and gas station is twenty four minutes away. While you may hear peepers, chickens, ducks, donkeys, river noises, goats, lambs, and the occasional dog barking, there is absolutely no car sounds or other noise congestion. Since we live in such a rural area we also have a very grand display of stars. On clear nights one can make out many, many different constellations and we have witnessed shooting/falling stars and have been able to clearly see planets before in the summer months. Zoar Outdoor and Crab Apple white water rafting are located close by and provides guided river rafting and zip lining. Great for all ages! Charming Shelburne Falls, Brattleboro, Vermont and Greenfield, Ma are less than 30 minutes away. Between here and bigger towns there are a plethora of hiking trails, swimming holes, fishing rivers, mountains, ski mountains, and other natural attractions. There's lots of attractions near by for people and families of all ages. There are many places to eat, grab a drink, dance, see plays, hear live music and more, in lots of nearby, towns like Amherst, Keene, Northhampton, Brattleboro VT, scenic Shelburne Falls, with the Bridge of Flowers, arty Wilmington Vt. (which has skiing and boating), Greenfield, and Amherst. (To name a few) Mass Moca, Clark Art Institute, Smith Art Museum, The Eric Carle Museum, and Williams College Art Museum, and Tanglewood are all about an hour away or less. Here in Leyden there are two retreat centers, Angel's Rest and SpiritFire offer retreats with various content. Rowe Conference Center, which offers workshops, and Kripalu Yoga are close by. We are near the Deerfield and Green rivers, both excellent fishing spots. The nearby Apalachian Trail offers great hiking. Stop on your trip to Vermont or the Berkshires as we are about twenty minutes to I 91 and route 2. We are near local boarding schools, and 45 minutes from the 5 colleges in Amherst and Northampton. Restaurants, great views, music venues, and family-friendly activities are nearby. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and couples with a baby.
  • Great pleasure to meet Rhonda's family and to stay overnight in such a relaxing piece of paradise with a variety of farm animals, friendly dogs.

    Irina2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Rhonda's place was fun and comfortable to stay at! Her family was very welcoming and accommodating, and we enjoyed spending time getting a tour of the farm and playing scrabble. Super beautiful property and home, I would highly recommend staying at Rhonda's.

    Camille2017-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Rhonda and Lou are very interesting people and have a lovely house with lots of art, chickens and ducks!

    Romita2018-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay. Loved the quiet location and warm hospitality of our hosts Rhonda and Lew. Would definitely stay again!

    Sue2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Rhonda and her family were very welcoming! This was our first experience with Air BnB and the farm was exactly as I expected it to be. The beds were very comfortable and an overhead fan kept things cool. We were only there for a quick overnight stay so we didn't get to see the river (10-minute walk away). My kids love animals and enjoyed hanging out with the family dogs, pigs, goats (including milking the mama goat), chickens, and ducks who made a surprise appearance (they are people shy). The donkeys on an adjacent property were a bonus! We were also there during raspberry and blueberry season and were able to pick and eat these wonderful fruits while we visiting. The mosaics (made by Rhonda) were beautiful as was the artwork painted by her talented daughter. Since we were in the area to look at private schools, it was nice having Rhonda's perspective both as a teacher and as a parent with friends whose children attended some of these schools. Thanks for a lovely time!

    Heleigh2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rhonda and Louis are very warm people and we felt as we were at home. They were very friendly with our baby girl. The place is in the middle of the country, they have goats and other animals, there is a beautiful river just a few minutes away, yet the town is not far. We hope to be back one day and stay longer.

    Meredith2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rhonda and Louis were great hosts! They played Scrabble with us, made us tea, gave us chocolate and apple snacks! Louis even offered to make us breakfast! Rhonda gave us a tour of the animals and it was so cute, we loved it! There was lots of art all around which was beautiful to look at! Loved our stay!

    Lara2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • It was a real pleasure to spend the night at Rhonda's place. The property is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with forests and a river nearby. She along with her husband were very accommodating and friendly. They gave us a tour of their home, which, I have to say, had some really impressive art works. Rhonda is an artist specializing in pottery. So, we ended up buying and ordering some of her work for our home. They have a farm with cute ducklings, piglets, chicks, a lamb and a goat. Their farm dogs were also very friendly and fun to play with. Overall and in every way, we all had a wonderful and a memorable stay at her home.

Host is a worldly working artist, writer, collector, gardener. Home is filled with art and objects of interest.
Cottage is located in the heart of the village yet is private and quiet. Set back from the Avenue by gardens and sheltered by mature trees. Walk out the door to good restaurants, interesting shops, the beautiful Connecticut River, power canal, bike path, and cove. Banks, library, post office are all a few steps away. Abundant nature, good hikes, skiing, live music within few minutes walk or drive. Borrow a bike from host to roam about the village and bike path.
  • This is a charming home in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a great little coffee place . Edite is a wonderful host and very thoughtful. Her home is filled with art and creative spaces that are a joy to see.

    Diane2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Edite's small, cosy house is filled to the brim with excellent books, and creativity. She has gathered an eclectic artist's eye-full of interesting objects she has collected in every nook and cranny. It still feels spacious! My room was warm and comfortable. She pointed me in the direction of good places to eat and drink, and I felt comfortable being there. My stay in this small town was more attractive because of her welcoming ways.

  • Great stay-nice and quite

    Steven2018-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, clean, comfortable. What more do you desire in a place. Host was friendly and kind. A good place.

    Michael2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was a wonderful find and would gladly recommend it to anyone making a venture out that way. Edite was an excellent host....great with communicating and coordinating arrival and having back up plans if needed, making you feel comfortable in the space, and offering up whatever you might have needed within reason. The room itself was quite comfortable. After coming down with a random quick bug that decided to manifest itself during the trip, I got to grow more acquainted with the space than I was originally intending to. But, no matter if it was the middle of the day or at nightime...it was easy as anything to be able to fall asleep and not feel disturbed in any way, even with being on the main drag in Turners Falls (though set back a little from it). All in all, this place has all you could need. Comfort, convenience, cleanliness, a few other positive "C" terms that might well be applicable but elude me at the moment....you can't ask for a better place, really. Always highly recommended.

    Michael2017-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful artist's cottage in close walking distance to local shops and restaurants.

    Diane2018-11-05T00:00:00Z

    Richard2017-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a great stay Edite! This is a lovely little cottage that is so peaceful and sweet and Edite is such a thoughtful host. If you're staying in or around Turners Falls this is a charming, quiet, yet centrally located home away from home.

  • An Airbnb-experience like it used to be - in the best sense possible! Sarah really opened her house to us, showed us around and gave us great local tips. Highly recommended!!

  • A truly lovely Airbnb! The house was clean and we had a lot of space to relax. The hot tub was great, and I loved all of the beautiful plants decorating the home. The puppies were amazing, it was so much fun to play with them (I never wanted to leave). Sarah gave us a lot of recommendations about what to do in the area, and provided us with waffle mix and local maple syrup for breakfast. Overall, a great experience and we’d be happy to stay here again.

Our sunny AirBnB fills the 3rd floor of a grand-dame Victorian in Greenfield's Highland Pond neighborhood. An arched window with leaded glass and exposed brick chimneys give this private apartment tons of character. The comfortable king bed, soft linens, good books, and eclectic furnishings make this apartment just right for a cozy retreat; and the walking-distance-to-downtown location makes it a great home base for Western Mass adventures. But before you book, read about the stairs!
Before we go any further, please know that the only access to this sweet apartment is by a steep exterior stairway to the third floor of the house. In other words, if you are afraid of heights or have mobility limitations - this is not the apartment for you. If you are still reading, you will want to know that the apartment is a self-contained, private living space with a private entrance. It consists of two large rooms and a private bathroom. The bedroom has windows on three sides, and is bright and airy. In summer, you see trees and rooftops, everywhere you look. In winter, you can see the Poet Seat Tower from one of the bedroom windows, and have a bird's eye view of the Winter Carnival Fireworks. The bedroom holds a new king sized bed, a couch that folds down into a double sized bed, a dresser and streaming TV, old fashioned student desk, and portable air conditioner. The 2nd room is an open floor plan living space/dining room/kitchen. The window over the sink looks out over the back yard, which is bordered by an old stone wall. There is a stove, microwave, and apartment sized refrigerator. The antique dining room table (with extra leaves, if needed) is circled by hand-needlepointed chairs. That dining room set once sat in the childhood home of the former dean of students at Bement School. The sitting area holds a love seat, hand-stained coffee table, and comfy chair. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, antique towel paper caddy, and single stall shower. It is exclusive use to AirBnB guests. Some of the apartment's artwork comes from local artists and some has been collected from afar, over the years. The overall feel is (in our not-so-humble opinion) charming.
Whether you want to walk to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, hike to the top of Poet Seat Tower, stroll through the woods around Highland Pond, take in live music at Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center (after a foodie's supper at Hope & Olive, of course), or play tennis on one of the town's clay courts, our apartment is perfect. Walking distance to Downtown, Highland Pond, Beacon Field - it doesn't get more convenient than this. And if you are adventuring further afield, Greenfield is just a hop, skip, and jump away from Old Deerfield, Northampton, Ashfield, and Brattleboro, Vermont. Easy access to I-91, Route 2, & Routes 5&10. Very close to nearby private schools, including Deerfield Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon and Stoneleigh Burnham.
  • Great hosts! Due to my crazy work schedule I was only able to stay in the apartment for a couple of hours. I had to check in really late, but Julie went out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed! Would definitely stay again.

    Kameron2019-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Julie’s apartment was peaceful and comfortable, like our own little nest above the world. I was delighted to find the array of books and an electric fireplace, which enjoyed from the spacious warm bed. With beautiful wood floors, comfy furniture, and full kitchen amenities, I wanted to move right in! And Julie was communicative and gracious. I look forward to our next stay.

    Cheryl2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Julie’s hospitality was outstanding! going as far as allowing us to check in early without a notice. (my air and not eating reading the instructions prior to arrival) The apartment was charming clean and the electric fireplace was a nice warm touch though not needed for warmth. The location is close to town and local hiking spots. Will be back !

    Sheree2018-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Julie's place. There were many nice touches that made us feel at home when we arrived. Julie was very responsive and went above and beyond to see that we had everything we needed for our stay.

  • Great apartment walking distance to downtown Greenfield.. Julie is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Would definitely stay again.

    Nicholas2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Julie is an amazing host! She gave us travel/food ideas, the space was so sweet and clean. It's very close to the center of town, yet still in a quiet neighborhood. She even left us a pitcher of water in the fridge for when we arrived because it was a really hot day! So thoughtful.

    Rebecca2018-09-07T00:00:00Z

  • Everything was perfect. It is a lovely home in a pretty town. Thanks Robert!

    James2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter is in boarding school in Greenfield and Robert's location was so convenient for me. Few minutes from the center city. A typical local house in which you will love to stay. Robert made every efforts to accommodate us, he even prepared an extra bed when we told him that we have might be three people. The house is really beautiful, warm and clean. There was OJ, bagel and coffee for breakfast. We could not have asked for more. He will definitely see me again!

    Rishan2013-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very nice, but this is an old house and it doesn't have many electrical outlets for things like phone chargers. The bed was comfortable and we had a pleasant night.

    Andy2015-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay on Robert's home. If we were back in the area, we'd definitely stay again.

    Sean + Cecilia2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • House is eccentric and artsy, but instantly comfortable. All the amenities you'd need. AC or a pleasant breeze through the window does the trick. Room is large and plenty of space for my friend and I to spread out with all of our stuff. Location is great and only a few minutes to get into town. Would definitely go back.

    Emily2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • The room in Robert's house is very comfortable. it's clean and cozy. the bed is good. the neighborhood is quaint and very very quiet. The house itself is cool and nice. Robert was friendly. This is an easy and nice place to stay.

    Sean2014-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • While my husband and I never actually met Robert, he was easy to contact via the air bnb messenger and was quick to give great recommendations for dinner (the Hope and Olive was amazing!). The room was clean and comfy. Although there was no a/c, the room was nice and cool to sleep in with the fans on even after a hot sunny August day.

My place is close to Northfield Mount Hermon School, The Gill Tavern, The Farm Table & Kringle Candle, Crumpin Fox Golf Course. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, privacy, the setting & the view.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We allow small dogs to stay in the apartment that weigh up to 25lbs, and are house trained, at an additional charge of $40 per night.
A brand new 900 square foot space, with pull down queen Murphy bed. The mattress is brand new and very comfortable. The apartment has a living area, galley kitchen, and bathroom with shower, vanity unit and toilet. Off the apartment is a 200 square foot deck, raised with a beautiful view of the trees and the Leyden hills beyond. The deck is private.
Gill is a wonderful rural community.
  • Jackie’s place was beautiful and stylish. She had books everywhere for her guests to borrow for their stay. The property is gorgeous. She was so kind, meeting us upon our arrival to show us around. The only only only complaint we had was that there were wasp’s nests on the deck. Every time we tried to sit out there, there were many wasps surrounding us. We were looking forward to relaxing on the deck. Other than this, everything was absolutely perfect and I would definitely like to stay here again—would just check in about the deck first : ) Had dinner at the Farm Table and it was delicious. Good cocktails! Breakfast at Wagon Wheel — cider donuts were incredible!

    Deena2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • The space was impeccably clean and comfortable and the hosts were great!

    Mark2018-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a place! It was all and more than what was advertised. We were so pleased with Jackie and Duncan, the quiet location in a rural area (like where we are from), all the small, special touches that they graced the apartment with and their willingness to help us get there when we got lost! It was nice to go into the bathroom and find slippers, robes and special soaps, the kitchen and find some tea, coffee, and food, if needed, and to look out to a beautiful view. Even though it was raining while we were there, the view was still beautiful. The bed and the couch were really comfortable and their is heat if you need it. You will be relaxed if you choose this place - we highly recommend it as we too will use it again. Since we were there for a conference in Northfields, we didn't get enough time to relax and enjoy our hosts (sadly), but we would like to come sometime to just relax, get to know Duncan and Jackie and the area. By the way, we only heard the dogs when we first drove up and when we would leave, but it wasn't loud. Do come and stay here - you won't regret it.

  • Lovely, sparkling clean, charming. Perfect and restful spot.

    Victoria2018-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The Hickory Hill Treetop Apartment was great for us! Jackie and Duncan have created a very pleasing, bright and functional space, and upon our arrival the entire apartment was spotlessly clean. It was terrific that the apartment had a kitchen with plenty of kitchenware (pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, plates, etc) for our cooking and eating. The kitchen even was even stocked with cooking oil and some spices for us to use. We used the apartment as our home base during the Green River Festival in nearby Greenfield, and that worked out great. With the air conditioning on, you could not hear the dogs barking at kennel at all. Thanks for a terrific stay!

  • Don't miss this one, you'll love it!

    Cheri2018-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Duncan and Jackie are wonderful host. They go above and beyond to be sure their guest have everything they need. They make you feel at home the minute you arrive. The place is beautiful and the views are incredible. This place has it all, a well equipped kitchen, living area, dining area, comfy bed and nice size bathroom. There are slippers & robes in the bathroom, teas and coffees in the kitchen, cable TV and a private deck with beautiful views. You won't be disappointed here!

Choose a quiet, relaxing stay in an out-of-the-way neighborhood in Greenfield, MA.
One of the few Airbnb’s in the area accessible by it's own private entrance, the suite includes a comfortable bedroom area, private bathroom with a shower and a work/dine countertop bar. A microwave and refrigerator are available along with a hot pot for oatmeal, tea or coffee. Empty drawers and hangers are provided. Guidebooks and maps are provided for area places to visit. We have eclectic eateries, bookstores, hiking trails and so much more. I am happy to give suggestions if you need them.
Our home is in a quiet gem of a neighborhood a short distance of downtown Greenfield, Greenfield Community College, many local farms, private schools, restaurants, beautiful hikes and places to paddle. 20 minutes to the Five Colleges, Yankee Candle Village, Erving State Forest, and Shelburne Falls. 30 minutes to Zoar Outdoor, Berkshire East, and Brattleboro VT
  • Pam's room has everything one needs. She even added an extra air mattress since I was traveling with my sister. Her place is filled with local tips and suggestions. It goes without saying that if you are interested in attending an event at the Greenfield Community college, you are a 5 minute walk away. Great stay!

    Ryan2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This suite is exactly as described and pictured. Very comfortable, lovely decor, good sized bathroom, sparkling clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. Pam was a terrific host. Though I didn't get to meet her, she made sure everything was just right and communication was prompt and good. I highly recommend this lovely spot!

    Beth2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Pam’s place! Sweet and cozy, and everything we needed. Thank you!

    Caroline2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had driven 10 hours, had less than an hour to get ready for a party... walked into Pam’s lovely place and immediately felt at home. It was comfortable, everything was where needed, and she’d put out fresh flowers (from her garden, I presume). When we finally returned to crash just before midnight, we experienced a supremely comfortable bed. My only regret was that we didn’t have time to dig into any of the dozens of books she had around.... Great place, just a few minutes from downtown Greenfield in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

    Ann2018-08-12T00:00:00Z

    Ariel2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely, quiet location that is an excellent value.

    Bob2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • The place was lovely, with a private entrance, and a communicative, discrete host. It was a very short drive to "downtown" Greenfield, and easy to find. Note the detail in the listing that there is no kitchen access nor cooking equipment other than a hot water kettle (a mini-fridge and microwave would have been nice.) our only complaint was the the blanket for warmer weather was uncomfortable, and the more plush blanket seemed like it might have been for a full instead of a queen sized bed, so it was difficult to share between 2 sleepers. Overall, these were not major problems, and I would recommend this listing to others.

    Rachel2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very cute space that had everything I needed for a wedding weekend. Pam is very responsive, and the check-in process couldn't be easier or more flexible.

Tucked into one end of my 1830 federal house is a lovely private space with many period features (such as wallpaper from the late 19th century, original pine flooring, plaster walls and quality construction). There is a large private deck off the living room, a gas stove to sit by on cold days, a spacious bathroom and pretty views of our little valley in Shelburne. Shinglebrook Farm is a small working farm with cows, goats and pigs all pastured together and often within view.
The farm is located 3 miles from the junction of route 2 and I91 in Greenfield, Mass. it is close to Berkshire East (skiing and zip lining), river activities on the Deerfield river, Shelburne Falls (Bridge of Flowers, Potholes and some excellent eateries), the 5 college area, hiking, biking and some of the most beautiful scenery in the northeast. There is no actual kitchen in the space but there is a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee grinder and maker, water boiler etc.... If someone wanted to use a grill, I have one available. There is a comfy vintage camper that is available as an add- on to this space. It would sleep two more people and actually has a little stove and fridge in it. Add- on only for $50/night.
Although we are only a few miles from Interstate 91, you would never know it!
  • Beth's place is a wonderful getaway. Close to a number of great weekend activities, while managing to feel isolated and peaceful. Beth offered some great suggestions for nearby attractions, and was very accommodating while giving us plenty of space to relax. The space feels rustic, but is actually very well maintained and highly functional. It feels like it could be a hotel, but it's much more welcoming. Cell service was excellent, water pressure and temperature were good, climate control functional, and everything was clean. The hardest part was finding the space, as Google gets the address location wrong. Following Beth's written instructions make it easy, but it probably helps to arrive before dark. Even though we arrived later than hoped, Beth still came out to great us, despite her very busy schedule. I wish we could have spent more time here, and perhaps seen a bit more of the farm. Maybe we'll be back someday soon!

    Mike2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This property is quaint, private and very quiet. Beth is a thoughtful and considerate host. We appreciated the personal touches of leaving us snacks and meeting the dogs. We spent a lot of time with family in the area and it was nice to have this peaceful and inviting place to come to at the end of each day.

  • If you've ever dreamed of escaping to a house in the woods, complete with a working stove, a chaise lounge for reading and the most comfty bed for a restful sleep, make your way to Beth's place. The apartment is adjacent to a century-old farmhouse with its wide pine plank floors. The space is tastefully decorated with antiques and the new windows are covered with blackout shades. All the romance of "this old house" minus the drafts and the leaks. A quintessential New England experience just a short drive from the Interstate and nearby Greenfield. Great location for visiting colleges or prep schools, hiking or skiing, if you can tear yourself away for the house! Enjoy!

    Darcy2018-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful and newly renovated apartment with a lovely view, great amenities, and the perfect balance of attention and privacy from Beth. The space is quite roomy, and it was well-furnished for a cozy weekend away. It got a bit chilly for September at night and in the early morning, but the heating in the apartment kept us toasty. Although there is not a full kitchen, there was a microwave, toaster oven and mini-fridge, as well as plates/utensils/cups etc., so we didn't want for any amenities. The apartment is about 10-15 min from downtown areas in Shelburne Falls and Greenfield, and about 30 min from Northampton. There was plenty to see and do nearby. We enjoyed all our meals in the area, and especially Magpie in Greenfield. We also brought our bicycles, and found plenty of trails nearby for casual or serious bicycling. Thank you to Beth for making our weekend away so special. She responded quickly to all our queries, made the check-in and check-out processes super simple, and even took time out of her busy day to show us her animals. We loved our time here. The highlight for me was having a cup of coffee on the deck in the mornings and seeing Beth's cows curiously looking back from about 30 ft away :)

    Pratima2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely place for an idyllic and quiet vacation. The house and surrounding area are beautiful. When we were delayed a bit by weather, Beth made sure we had everything we needed. We really had a wonderful weekend here.

  • Beth’s place is in a beautiful location in very private. It is spacious and has many amenities...she’s a true super hostess!

  • Lovely, cozy, peaceful one bedroom apartment located on one end of a classic, beautiful well-cared for old New England turn of the century farm house. Nicely renovated to maintain original historic details, freshly painted and clean. Very comfortable queen size bed in bedroom, full bathroom, sitting room with small simple kitchen/eating area opening onto private large outdoor deck and garden. Beautiful setting on small quiet working farm. Located on a very quiet rural road, walks from house, amazing birds. Easy 10 minute drive to Shelburne Falls or Greenfield. Beth is a wonderful host. Super easy to communicate with, apartment mini kitchen nicely stocked, super clean, lots of bath towels. So enjoyed sipping morning coffee on the deck while enjoying the multitude of birds singing and beautiful setting. Super relaxing. We definitely look forward to returning in the future! We enjoyed a visit from her 3 doggies in the morning, our choice. (Beth very clearly offered to make sure they were in her side of the house while we were there.)

    Bridget2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beth is an exceptional host. We arrived after midnight during a polar vortex. The temperature outside was minus three degrees and yet the unit was toasty warm because she had left the stove lit for us. The house has double pane windows and insulated shades that eliminated drafts. The driveway was plowed and the entrance was well sanded so despite the eight inches of snow, access to the space was easy. She provided fresh fruit, hot chocolate, teas and coffee. The bathroom has ample large and fluffy towels, fresh premium linens on the bed and reliable internet connection. (Direct TV too!) The rural location is five minutes from town with plenty of choices for a quick bite or picking up snacks at the super grocery store (the wine selection is fabulous). If you bring little ones, they will be delighted to get up close to the farm’s pig and gentle cows. Surely they will want to search for Charlotte, the wise spider, in the barn.

First floor apartment in back of a 3-unit house. Minutes away from Rt2 and I-91 for easy access anywhere! Enjoy morning coffee on the back deck or down the street right on the river! Dishwasher, laundry, parking, TV, WiFi and AC in summer and pellet stove in winter! If you have allergies to cleaning products, pets etc. please let me know beforehand and I can make sure to be mindful of that :)
Easily accessible to major highways yet neighborhood is quiet and right on the river (Barton Cove). Enjoy all the perks of a furnished apartment instead of limitations at hotels!
Quiet. Great to take a walk around or great to walk over the bridge into Turners Falls. Close to bike path and if you take a stroll down the street you can enjoy the view or fish off of the concrete slab.
  • Charming apartment. Extremely clean with private driveway and entrance. Very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the river. Great location right off of Route 2, close to restaurants and night life. Perfect hostess, communication was great. Will definitely book again when we are in the area.

    Gwen2018-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for the great visit! The apartment was lovely and we enjoyed the neighborhood as well! The kitchen had all of the equipment we needed and it was fun to be able to walk along the river.

  • Great experience and the landlady is so considerate and took care our urgent needs when we needed extension. Definitely will return again in our future trips. Home feeling, every time there is any need for the landlord will always do for you. Unfortunately, did not see her, would like to thank her care in every possible way.

  • Jenna's apartment was clean, thoughtfully set up, and very cozy with the pellet stove glowing! We were a family group of four, and the blow up bed worked well for two adults. It is located on a crescent street, which made access to Route #2 easy for traveling directions (east or west). We would return again! The two doors with keyless entrance made check in all smooth and easy.

  • Lovely, spacious spot near the river! Cute decor and room to spread out as you explore Western Mass.

    Andrew2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jenna’s place is done in such a cute and homey style. It was extremely comfortable staying here and I have already recommended her to several of my friends at my reunion as somewhere to put their relatives who come for a visit! I would want mom to stay here and that means a lot. Thanks Jenna for all the great communication and all the many extras that you were so thoughtful to include. Very special visit.

    Kimberly2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very comfortable stay at Jenna's place. It offered everything we could have needed, and was just as described. We recommend!

This super tidy, bright bungalow is a short drive to excellent food, coffee and music in downtown Greenfield and Turners Falls. The house is on a sweet, quiet street; neighbors are close by but the property feels very private. We love this spot because of its proximity to town but also to beautiful hiking trails, glorious swimming holes and the hills of southern Vermont. It's also convenient if you're in the area to visit private schools or the five colleges.
This house is only used occasionally by Kristi's mom, who has a very high standard for cleanliness and order. So the space is exceptionally neat, uncluttered and comfortable but also kid-friendly, because when she's here she is often hosting our three young children. It's an open layout, super efficient and cozy. The beds and linens are new and many guests have said the king mattress was the most comfortable thing they've ever slept on. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics you'll need for cooking, as well as a variety of teas and coffee.
  • Darry and Kristi's place is a nice two-bedroom house on a quite street with a quick access to the main roads. It suited perfectly our family of four. We found everything as advertised and had a pleasant and comfortable stay as part of our foliage trip to New England. The communication was quick and they provided plenty of information, local tips and suggestions.

    Marsel2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely charming home. Very clean. Super comfy bed. Only downside was the lack of tv channels... Other then that, the home and hosts were prefect. Would recommend this home to anyone staying in the area

  • I feel like depending upon availability this will be my new go to spot for every single visit back home to Massachusetts! We absolutely Loved it!!!

  • What a lovely place to stay while on a holiday vacation. We stayed through the Thanksgiving holiday, for a full week and drove from Florida with our family of four. The house is very clean, cozy and in a great location in greenfield. I loved that there was a washer and dryer available. It was pretty chilly outside during our stay so we were very grateful for the central heating and warm blankets and linens! I am always worried about how comfortable the beds will be when traveling, but the beds were perfect! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals for us. Was able to easily sign into our Netflix account. The hosts were very timely with responses, if we had any questions. I would definitely stay here again when we come back. Thanks Darry and Kristi!

    Samantha2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I visited from New York for a weekend trip and enjoyed every bit of our stay. Darry and Kristi’s place is very clean and beds are super comfortable with all the amenities that you could ask for. Would love to stay again! Thank you, Darry and Kristi!

  • We had a great stay at Kristi and Darry’s house! It was very clean and comfortable and Kristi and Darry were happy to point us to great places to eat in Greenfield. The central air conditioning was an added bonus, as we stayed on a muggy summer weekend. The house is in a great location; a short drive to downtown and many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Our quite and comfy home is conveniently located less than 2 miles from I-91, but a 1/4 mile down a country road giving you lots of privacy. The cottage is less than a mile from Crump 'N Fox Golf; 2 miles from Northfield Mount Hermon; 10 minutes from Greenfield & Stoneleigh Burnham; 15 min to Brattleboro, Deerfield Academy, Bement & Eaglebrook; 20 min to UMass, Amherst & Northampton; 30 minutes to Keene NH & Shelburne Falls and 45 min to the Basketball Hall of fame in Springfield & Mt Snow VT.
The cottage is the last house on a well maintained country road. Newly remodeled, this efficient open floor plan has a full kitchen, two bedrooms, cable, wifi, lots of privacy and a convenient location.
We've been living here for the past 18 years and can't think of living somewhere else. Living on a quite road, but close to 91 makes country living easy and convenient. There's two great restaurants, two pizza places an American style diner, dunkin donuts and a convenience store/deli within a few miles.
  • This charming quiet cabin, although close to 91, is nestled in the woods with a great view of a fabulous field. Wonderful place to stay if you have the chance.

  • This small house is comfortable and warm - we appreciated that on several very cold days. It has the kitchen basics and is conveniently located to NMH. Chris was very responsive and communicative. It is also on a nice and quiet rural road, but close to 91.

    Karen2019-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great, clean, quiet and dog friendly with a huge field across the street that the dogs can run and explore! Loved it!

    Kelly2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Chris’ cottage is great for a small family stay. It was very nice to have a private home with kitchen, dining and living room amenities. Thank you for your cleanliness, and fast responses to my text questions, Chris! This is a good value - we had three family members sharing the cottage. I highly recommend Sunday brunch at Hope and Olive in Greenfield. The Farm Table is always a great meal! Thanks, Chris!

  • This is the first Airbnb I have actually returned to because I liked it so much. We golfed at Crumpin and saw a movie at the drive-in, both awesome spots close by. The house is perfect, clean and on an incredibly hot day was nice and cool. You can’t beat the scenery and true feeling of being away. We hope to return on a yearly basis!

This completely updated 3rd floor apartment is the perfect place to unwind and relax from a long day working or exploring the area.
This comfortable apartment includes a new fully appliances kitchen and a screened in back porch. It's close to downtown, the hospital and great hiking trails.
The neighborhood is great for easy access to the train, downtown restaurants and we are 20 minute drive to Northampton and Amherst. Deerfield academy is a 12 minute drive.
  • Trish and Mark are great hosts. The place was sparkling clean, spacious, and close to Greenfield. Check in was so easy and the apartment was nice and relaxing.

    Elizabeth2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Trish and Mark have the perfect spot! The apartment is spacious, beautiful, and extremely well equipped. You will want for nothing. Highly recommended!

    Jacqueline2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • This unit is adorable and very clean. It is extremely convenient to downtown Greenfield and main roads, yet very quiet. The sunroom off the smaller back room must be wonderful in the warmer weather. The bedroom is very large, and there are plenty of bed linens, towels, and washcloths. We loved that the apartment has new, full-sized appliances, including a dishwasher and washer and dryer, and that dish and laundry detergent were provided. There was even bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner in case guests forgot theirs. Our hosts were very responsive and kindly provided some nice goodies in the fridge, as well as some ground coffee. The kitchen was quite well-equipped. Extra points: It snowed while we were there, and the driveway was plowed and the sidewalk and steps were cleared and salted in short order. We will definitely keep the Perch on our list for future visits!

    Terri2017-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Trish and Mark's nook! A hide away located in the heart of Greenfield. Steep stairs for elderly and handicapped.

    Dirk2018-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a spot that's within walking distance of both trails and restaurants, this is it. The space is just as depicted in the pictures. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots and dishes. The apartment had a plentiful supply of soap, shampoo, towels, toilet paper, etc. Trish and Mark were responsive when I texted regarding the heat, and they took care of clearing the property after a storm. We enjoyed our weekend at the Perfect Perch.

    Rhonda2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Trisha and Marks place was absolutely adorable! When we arrived the place had not been cleaned, however they responded immediately and came and cleaned the apartment themselves. There had just been a miscommunication with the cleaning person, but Mark arrived while in the middle of preparing for his daughters wedding and did a thorough job cleaning. He was VERY pleasant. Trish was also very easy to work with over the phone. Besides the minor issue of it not being cleaned before check-in, the apartment is very stylish and has everything we needed. The linen and furniture were high quality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Trish and Marks place to anyone!

    Marissa2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Perfect Perch for a full week, and it was excellent all around. The location is ideal... a nice neighborhood but convenient to downtown and getting to other places in the Pioneer Valley. I need to return to the area in several months, and I've already booked my return stay at the apartment; I consider it to be a great find.

Bright comfortable guest suite just blocks from lively downtown, yet quiet, private, and easy to park. The suite has one bedroom, one living room, and one bath; new queen size mattress, crisp clean linens, Apple TV ready for your Netflix login, excellent high-speed wireless, private deck, and mini-kitchenette stocked with coffee & tea. You'll park in the rear of the house, and enjoy total privacy with your own entrance, key-code entry door; come and go as you please.
The guest suite is a completely private space attached to the rear of our home. It is a 2-room suite; ideal if one person likes to sleep in and another is an early bird. Perfectly suited for 2 people, but a 3rd (child or teen) can be accommodated on the sofa (not a pull-out) or an airbed - do let us know if you have a 3rd guest and we can provide extra bedding. Please note we live in the front of the house and we have two dogs who may notice your arrival and bark briefly - please excuse the disturbance.
We are located in the heart of downtown, just a 2-block walk to all that Greenfield has to offer: live music venues, art galleries, shops and great breweries and restaurants (check out Greenfield Coffee or Shelburne Falls Coffee for a great cup of coffee; and Magpie, Hope and Olive, People's Pint, or Thai Blue Ginger for an excellent meal. Happy to suggest others). The suite is perfect for guests coming into town for nearby musical festivals and events, visiting one of the local colleges (UMass and Smith are a short, easy, beautiful drive away), exploring winter sports at nearby resorts and parks, leaf peeping, or if you just want to get away and explore the "other side" of Massachusetts!
  • Amazing space... excellent hosts! Just perfect.

  • Lovely, cosy, clean, quiet place with a beautiful outside area. It's hard to believe that it is almost in the center of town. We loved the floor plan, the decoration, the cleanliness. The bed is very comfortable and so are the sheets. It felt like home. Our hosts were very easy to reach. We will certainly come back !

  • Molly & Matthew's place couldn't be any sweeter! We loved the bed, the linens, the deck, the cozy charm of the sitting area and the style of the whole place. Having it all sparkling clean (truly) was wonderful! We felt we could truly rest there, because of all the little touches, cleanliness and care that had gone into its design. The towering trees in the backyard & the setback from the street made it feel very private. I am not usually given to hyperbole, but make an exception for this amazing place!

    Diana2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • We were going to a graduation in Northampton and found Molly and Matthew's suite. It was perfect for our needs. Molly was lovely to communicate with from the very beginning. She answered all our emails and questions right away. The suite was very private, extremely clean, easy to settle into and simply but tastefully decorated. The outdoor space with tables and chairs was private and relaxing. We loved the tempurpedic bed and had a wonderful nights rest. Although Molly and Matthew are in the front of the house we never heard them or saw them. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Northampton. Thank you so much for your hospitality Molly!

    Marcy2019-05-19T00:00:00Z

  • First things first - you could not have better hosts anywhere. Lisa goes above and beyond to ensure you have a peaceful, relaxing and private experience. From her first communication to the last, Lisa is an attentive communicator. The pictures posted on Airbnb, as well as the hosts descriptions, do not do justice to the actual cabin/experience. The cabin was impeccably clean and lovingly maintained. The WiFi provided was faster and more reliable than the one I have in my own home (which you would not typically expect for being in such a secluded area). The hot water was quite sufficient for my needs, nonetheless if there are multiple people on the cabin you would just need to space-out showers by 10 to 15 minutes. And if all this wasn't enough, Lisa provides firewood, kindling, a grill (and charcoal) as well as various other small touches around the cabin. I highly recommend Lisa's cabin experience - you will not be disappointed.

    John-Michael2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived late to check in and were very excited to find the cabin welcoming, warm, clean and full of amazing local treats! The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea. We brought tons of food to cook with us, my husband being a chef, and were pleased with all of the kitchen supplies to make our food. The wood stove was so great, easy to use, and lots of firewood ready for us. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the large deck to sit outside and look at the stars. Lisa was a great host and texted quickly to respond but let us have our privacy all week, which was important to us. We loved everything about this cabin and hope to be back.

    Samantha2016-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely little cabin in the woods. Not too far from a country store and even close enough to Boston for a day trip. We had plenty of privacy for a bit of rest and relaxation. Nice little brook that you can listen to as you relax on the porch.

    Tammy2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect little relaxing cabin experience. It felt secluded with the benefit of being just about 15 minutes into Brattleboro. Everything we needed was there, and it was completely cozy and comfortable. We had fun lighting the wood-burning stove and having some local beer & wine. Unfortunately it rained for most of the time we were there or we would've liked to use the fire pit & go for a walk. The covered bridge down the road was so scenic!

    Laura2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa’s place is clean, cozy, and perfect for a weekend getaway. Lisa was easy to communicate with and offered several helpful recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. We would definitely come back!

  • This Cabin was a perfect getaway, with a wonderful romantic feel and beautiful views.

    Thomas2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful place! I’ve never been to Vermont nor have I stayed in a cabin before but this was exactly how I pictured it would be. My husband and I had a rainy week, but we enjoyed sitting under the covered deck listening to the rain and the sound of the stream on the property while taking in the scenery. While it is in a private and peaceful location, Lisa’s house is only a 30 second walk away on the property and the closest town is an approx 5-6 minute drive, so you are not too secluded which was great for us! Lisa was always a text message away if we needed anything and she was so helpful with offering suggestions on where to go and what to see. The cabin itself is very clean, has all the amenities needed, pots, pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, forks, knives, spoons and a vast supply of tea! Lisa supplies everything from towels, bed linens, soaps, shampoos and even left a nice welcome package with local coffee, cheeses, crackers, cider, chocolate and yogurt. The cabin is clean and is decorated really cute..from the minute you walk in it feels like a fairytale:) Friends, if you are looking for a couples getaway in Vermont this is surely the place to stay!!

  • Crystal was an outstanding host! Her place is absolutely gorgeous—it was the perfect choice for our anniversary getaway. Crystal gave us lots of great tips for restaurants and sights in the area. We would definitely return to Crystal’s beautiful and comfortable suite!

  • Outstanding place and a great host! Communicating with Crystal was super easy, she has send all the details we needed + many great advices for places nearby. The apartment itself is spacious, super clean, well equipped (we had to leave very early in the morning but she even had a coffee maker and milk - life saving! :) ). If you are in the area, this is definitely a great place to stay!

  • Stephen and Susan have a beautiful home! We stopped there during a weekend ski trip for one night and we're pleasantly surprised at how amazing out experience was for the price. Everything was extremely clean, plus there were way more amenities than we expected: microwave, minofridge, utensils, coffee/tea etc. The home itself is old but nicely decorated with amazing views! Susan was very nice during check in and showed us our rooms and the bathroom. She and Stephen seemed to have thought of everything a guest might need, including notes in the rooms with information. Our only snafu was with the door, the lock is old so it's a bit tricky to open. You have to both pull and press the latch to open it. Overall we had a great experience! I highly recommend staying and we would definitely return if we are ever in the area.
