  • Great accomodation in a very convenient and safe neighborhood. 12-15 mins walk from downtown Brooklyn makes this a no-brainer of a place for people planning on saving some bucks while not compromising on the quality of your stay. Awesome experience staying at Andy's. Adam, his friend, was quite helpful with general tips and tricks about the neighborhood and forthcoming with any queries. All in all a great experience.

  • Nice place with private good air conditioner. Plenty of room, refrigerator and nice quick breakfast to go offered in the morning❤️. Quiet neighborhood. The only detail is one of the walls in the room is open at the top and you can hear when the next room occupants come in and out and turn the lights on. We had a good nights rest and got to see a bit of Brooklyn .

  • It was a nice place to stay.

    Andrew2019-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • The only "bad" thing of the house is that you need to walk 15 minutes to the subway, although there is a bus stop 1 minute to the house. Tommy is very friendly and the house is clean and you have air conditioner and all you need.

    Gabri2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • I would rate Tommy’s place the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places I have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything I needed to feel at home with lots of lovely touches. The location was great and communication was great too. Tommy was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions. I would highly recommend this wonderful apartment.

  • Nice and clean place. The room is big and comfortable. The kitchen and the bathroom are on another appartment in front of the room. They're small but clean and with all you can need. The place is located next to the Dumbo and the brooklyn downtown, 15 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The host is super friendly and helped in everything we needed. Highly recommended.

  • Great host and place.

    Michael2018-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • I was attending the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choire Music Conference in downtown Brooklyn and needed a place just for sleep with a superhost. I also wanted a place closer to the Fort Greene park and Damon's place showed up at top. His appartment is situated right on Myrtle opposite of the park. The bedroom and bathroom are exactly as described in the ad. Both rooms were spotless clean, and had what I was looking for...rest & peace. I slept every night with the windows open (yes, there is AC but fresh air is always better right) and had no trouble sleeping. And Damon deserves the title of "superhost", he always asked how my day and night was, if he could do something to make my stay even better,... Damon is a true good human soul in this world, more Damon's would make this world a better place.

Serene and beautifully decorated 1 bedroom apartment with a washer/dryer steps away from great restaurants, bars and Fort Greene Park. 12 minute walk to B/Q/R and C trains. Short bus ride away from A train. I run all my errands without leaving the neighborhood.
Comfortable one bedroom apartment with great amenities. There is an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances with a breakfast bar. The large bedroom has a working desk space and ample closet room. Other amenities are: washer/dryer, full equipped gym, and an outdoor patio space.
Fort Greene is my favorite neighborhood in Brooklyn. Everything is conveniently located - you have everything you need within a few blocks. Directly downstairs from the building is a great market. Near Fort Greene park, several banks, and awesome restaurants.
  • Lidia's apartment is an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Brooklyn Fort Green/Clinton Hill intersection. It is in great proximity from everything, 10min ride from Manhattan and a walkable distance from Dumbo as well as multiple restaurants and great bars in Fort Green. My only reservation, in the beginning, was seeing few cancellations on the apartment posting when I was looking to rent the place for my family who was visiting NYC. I decided to reach out directly and Lidia responded quickly and allowed me to stop by and see the apartment. She was really welcoming and personable and explained why in the beginning of signing up with Airbnb she couldn't keep up with the open calendar function which resulted in some bookings being canceled. Regardless, I would highly recommend the place - new and stylishly furnished for anyone who wants to stay in Brooklyn and also a short stretch from Lower Manhattan.

Hello! If you're looking for a cozy home with lots of light and character, look no further! This apartment is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Fort Greene, BK. Very close to downtown Brooklyn with lots of choices for great food, arts, and shopping. Located on 12 minutes from Chinatown in a car. Bus stops on every corner to get you to the train, but also a very nice walk. Quiet enough for those who want peace and close enough to the action for those who want to be on town!
  • I only crashed for a (Website hidden by Airbnb) was clean and convenient. thank you!

    Nicole2019-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • I have to agree with a previous commenter: Great location for exploring literally all of New York, I was able to walk almost everywhere in the dead of July. You cannot hear the freeway in the slightest. The front door is a challenge to lock and unlock from the outside. For the value, this is best for a crash pad. Spend your time out in the city, tucker yourself out and come back to sleep. Erika was extremely communicative.

    Kimberly2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great spot if you’re looking for a cost-effective place for one night. Although the host was lovely and communicative, the building smells strongly of mildew— the apartment less so, but it was clear incense was covering a light mildew scent. The property owners do live in the apartment, which helps, and the neighborhood is great — that said, the doors do not have deadbolts and didn't feel very secure. The bed was super comfortable and it was a very spacious apartment!

    Liz2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great location close to dumbo, parking pretty accessible, neighbors were very nice and helpful with getting sticky front door open. Nice shower and pretty quiet considering it’s under the train.

    Gregory2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Space is exactly as described. Cozy, comfortable, and tons of character. The neighbourhood may seem a little rough at first blush, but don't be afraid to explore. I had several excellent meals at restaurants within a couple of blocks.

    Duff2018-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Erika's place is really open and clean, it is just a short walk to a really cool area with lots of nice bars and restaurants

    Katalina2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Erika's place is perfect for a quick/affordable stay! Communication was easy - Erika was sweet, responded right away and answered every question I had. You need to bring your own toiletries, like shampoo, soap, etc. and I would recommend bringing your own towel. You can definitely walk to lots of great places within 20 minutes or so.

  • You have access to store food in the fridge and kitchen so you can cook your own food :)

    Alexis2019-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Tommy & Johnny were delightful hosts. They put out croissants and fresh fruit daily, had lots of beverage choices available in the fridge, and allowed me to prepare my food and store it in their refrigerator, which saved a lot of money for my daughter and me. The bathroom did not have a sink and we were not going to brush in the kitchen sink, so we did it in the shower. There was hand sanitizer and lemon wipes for cleaning hands. There was ample shampoo and conditioner choices as well as candles and spices for preparing foods. We had a decent stay. I only wish I had known that there would be 6 adults using a single bathroom, and that the apartment was on a 3rd floor walk-up. It was difficult to navigate having to carry lots of luggage (Website hidden by Airbnb) felt the photos were a bit misleading about the space. We chalk it up to experience and appreciate an otherwise uneventful stay.

    Penny2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Please request a video prior to your stay.

    T2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for two nights and everything was fine. Spaciousness is about what you would expect for the price in NYC. Four stars because we felt the bed was a bit uncomfortable with pretty thin pillows, so we didn’t get the best sleep. Other than that everything was great and you can tell the host cares about making things comfortable and accommodating for you. A solid choice for the budget conscious traveler who still wants to have some privacy at their Airbnb.

    Neally2019-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • It is fair for the price but it is quite far from the metro station and the room is very small for two persons. The bathroom is in the different apartment next door. The host was not either very communicative nor very welcoming. But overall an alright place to stay considering the price.

  • This airbnb is my NYC home away from home! It's quite simply everything you could ask for in an airbnb -- clean, spacious, beautiful, comfortable, and an ideal location. Allie is wonderful and responds to messages right away. Hope to return many times over! Could not recommend more!

    Virginia2019-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • I had a lovely time staying at Allie’s cute Brooklyn apartment. Allie is a warm host, who's very flexible and maintains open lines of communication. She let me check in and check out with a lot more flexibility than most other places, which I appreciated because my plans at the tail end of my NY trip were a bit more spontaneous. She told me exactly what I needed to know, in addition to giving me some good pointers on what to see and do in the vicinity. If you’re looking to explore the great Dumbo neighborhood, stay at Allie’s!

    Reshmi2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed at Allie's for a week and enjoyed staying at the appartment. The communication with Allie was very uncomplicated and she was very helpful with everything. Would stay there again without hesitation!

    Benedikt2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Allie was a great and accommodating host! We had a slight issue at the beginning where our flight landed much earlier than what the check-in time was, but Allie was very kind about it, and allowed us to drop our luggage off earlier than agreed upon! The full-time couple that lives there was friendly and helped us get adjusted. The place was also very clean, and well decorated! The location was great for the price too, it was either a 35-minute subway ride to the city or a $10 Lyft ride (when it wasn't too busy). We really enjoyed our stay at the place, and would definitely reccomend the place!

    Alexander2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Allies Apartment very much. The apartment is located in a very quite street in the near area of Dumbo. On the rooftop you have a beautiful view onto Manhattan. We met Allie personally and she is very nice and helpful, the communication in advance and also during the stay was excellent. Also the roommates were very friendly. Superfast Wifi connection. We like to come back again.

  • My wife and I stayed one night at JP’s place. The building was great, check in was east, and the apartment was very clean. It was a great spot to stay for our short trip to Brooklyn. JP was also very communicative during our stay, ensuring everything was in order. The bed was very comfortable, however we woke up quite hot in the middle of the night because there was no AC and it was mid-September in New York. Otherwise, we would recommend this Airbnb as an affordable option in a great area of Brooklyn! Thanks JP!

  • This apartment was great. It has a good bedroom and a big living room. Apartment was new, and building has great amenities like gym, laundry and a roof. We found a lot of necessary stuff in the apartment to live for a week. It is just a cross to Brooklyn Navy Yard, such a cool neighborhood. Worth to mention that Street parking is free however it is very hard to find a spot in a few blocks. If I need Airbnb in Brooklyn another time I will definitely check this place again.

  • Anna + Karen’s place is wonderful! Karen was very helpful with check in when I got lost. I highly recommend staying with them! Their apartment is super clean, in one of the best ‘hoods in Brooklyn, and very close to NYC.

  • The place is really well kept. Anna and Karen are great! A wide variety of food nearby.

  • I had a really great stay at Karen and Anna’s place. Karen and Karen’s friend were very friendly, caring and thoughtful. Their cat is very sweet. I hope he gets better soon. I felt home at their flat. They did their best to make me feel good. I’m grateful. I’m happy to have had the chance to stay with them. I hope I can travel to NYC soon again and stay with Karen&Anna again

    Kaan2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Anna, Karen and their lovely cat (forgot his name, sorry) for hosting me at one of my favorite BK neighborhoods. Check-in was smooth and Karen helped with one of my heavy bags, special thanks for that. The apartment is clean, a lot of sunlight coming in, has lots of character, caters to all of your basic needs. I stayed only a couple of days but I can easily recommend for longer stays.

Charming private bedroom in a central location in Brooklyn Navy Yard with a backyard and a friendly host :-) Ideal for singles and couples looking for a place to stay in the city on a business trip or a calm vacation.
You can feel home here. Quiet, clean, and with everyhing you would need.
Brooklyn Navy Yard is a calm neighborhood and lightly industrial; yet it is still very close to Williamsburg, DUMBO, and downtown Manhattan. There is not too much going on and I personally love it for exactly this reason. Fort Greene is 10 minutes walking distance away and has great bars and restaurants.
  • Stayed for almost a week. Had a great stay and will be my first choice for my next NYC visit. Great host: Nima is very courteous, sincere, flexible, and respectful. Appreciated the prompt communcation before and during my stay for any of my requests or enquiries, and also his accomodative and generous approach in addressing any. Also appreciated his effort to connect despite his busy schedule .. the interesting, lighthearted, and insightful conversations and the simplicity. The place: excellent value for money .. the room was clean, spacious, well-prepared (big comfy bed, closet, nice lamp stand, well-heated room, ..), and very well-lit (two big windows giving onto a quiet street). The flat is cozy and clean with a nice spacious and clean bathroom. Place is a short walk to Dumbo and York station with Citi bike options just around the corner.

  • It is a nice room in a great location with a wonderful host.

    Cameron2018-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic experience, hosted by a great guy. Fantastic location with newly connected NYC ferry up to mid-town or Wall Street. The room was great and had no issues with noise at all - nice warm shower and clean bedding and towels. Great value and will definitely use again when next in NY.

    Alex2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • The room itself is tranquil, full of light and has a comfortable bed. The noise, in my experience, was minimal and gave my experience the NY texture that I love so much. Though I didn't get to meet Nima (he gave me a great deal of privacy), he was wonderful to me leading up to, during, and after my trip. Checking in/out was a breeze. Also, I urge anyone who stays here to explore the neighborhood - there are Citibikes, a friendly coffee/curated book shop (Head Hi), a vegan restaurant with sweet staff and awesome milkshakes (Rip's), local buses you can take to your Brooklyn destination/the nearest subway station, and a ferry to Manhattan - all within an absolute maximum of 5 minutes' walking distance. If you're even more of an explorer, walk in any direction for 30 minutes and you will find endless things to be entertained by. Highly recommend.

This listing is for a private room on the first floor of a 1901 building on a historic block in Fort Greene. Our neighborhood is absolutely stunning, and the NYC Ferry just opened two blocks down the street in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard! The apartment is very accessible to both Manhattan and all parts of Brooklyn, and has wonderful restaurants, bars, arts venues, and activities in close walking distance.
The lower floor includes: Two bedrooms, a full bathroom, spacious living room, full outfitted kitchen, and private balcony with access to the backyard. This space shares an entrance with the upper floor. Please note that the floor is private, but not a completely separate apartment from the space above (divided by full stairs and a landing). There is another bedroom on this floor. The bedroom includes unique built-in shelving for ample storage, and is quiet and tucked away from street noise. Access to the backyard is included via key as well as the private balcony access. The balcony is a perfect spot for breakfast, or a glass of wine! Hosts and pets live in basement apartment. Backyard space: Our spacious backyard - including a chiminea for fires and multiple seats/tables - is shared with other guests in the building, including the Welsh Corgi...his name is Barley, and yes he would love to meet you! -------------------------------------- Information about the neighborhood and living space is readily available upon arrival. We also provide numerous personal recommendations - we want you to learn about this neighborhood and feel at home here!
Blocks away from Fort Greene Park, Pratt Institute, and the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Two blocks from the new NYC Ferry Stop and new WeWork site. Short walk to Downtown Brooklyn and Barclays Center. A destination area for food, drinks, and beautiful brownstones!

This second floor studio is the perfect size and location for a traveler that wants to be close to it all while living in one of the city's most beautiful areas! It's cozy, safe, chic and just 8 minutes from the subway and ferry service. As a native New Yorker I can guide you to my fave places to eat, watch underground live shows and shop. I am a musician, artist and long time business owner. Stay here & you can enjoy discounted yoga & fresh food from my organic juice bar just a block away!
Our space is a super cozy sun lit studio just one flight up on the second floor. This is a no frills apartment intended to for a cozy and safe space to lay your head. For sleeping accommodations you can pull out a full size sofa sleeper. We have light cooking equipment and small fridge if you would like to cook during your stay (but the neighborhood restaurants and cafes are reliably delicious).
As one of the longest running independent woman owned businesses on the avenue, I have an intimate relationship with what's on the avenue's pulse. We have amazing bars, coffee shops, gastropubs, caribbean, asian, Italian, Mexican and so much more. You can get a quick bite to eat or a romantic backyard candlelit dinner and drinks, right here in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene. We have many small neighborhood playgrounds and street benches to catch the sun or people watch but you can take a run or walk in Fort Greene park for an oasis in downtown Brooklyn and DUMBO's waterfront is just a 15 minute walk away. We have a weekly farmer's market and Free yoga & fitness on the plaza everyday during the summer. During the Spring & Summer in Brooklyn is full of block parties and events for the community! Join us in the Fall and Winter for another beautiful time of year in Brooklyn when locals come back into their lives, the leaves fall and its time to take activities indoor to our favorite coffee shops, art galleries or a walk across the bridge.
  • I would not recommend staying at Graces Airbnb. I’ve had a lot of Airbnb experiences all over the world and Grace was the rudest host I’ve ever met. Not only did she have a bad attitude and make my friend and I feel like a nuisance, but she did not have all the amenities promised. When asked about such amenities (mostly towels) she suggested we buy our own. My friend and I did not arrive till late at night from a days travel and could not purchase towels at that hour. The next day when we went to shower, at our surprise there was no hot water. The shower curtain was also covered in mold and Grace suggested we buy a new shower curtain for her Airbnb. It was unpleasant having to talk to her. I did not feel comfortable asking for anything. She did not make me or my friend feel welcomed. We were going to AFROPUNK festival and the location was 15min walking distant from the Airbnb. If we had not gone to Brooklyn for this festival I would have definitely left.

A cozy Brooklyn Apartment with easy access to Manhattan. We have plenty of windows that provide nice natural light. Great food spots and attractions within walking distance.
Queen Bed, Full pullout couch. Stove, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Full bathroom. Second Floor walk up.
Our area is a lovely mix of several neighborhoods (Dumbo, Navy Yard, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Downtown Brooklyn with South Williamsburg close by) that is gaining more shops and restaurants all the time. It's very walkable and close to most major subways, bus stations, Car2Gos and Citi Bikes. We definitely recommend taking a stroll through Fort Greene park and walking up to Myrtle avenue to check out restaurants, bars and shops.

Enjoy a quiet, studio in brownstone Brooklyn, blocks from Fort Greene park! This is a small, private studio off back of the building with a shared patio. Includes shower and kitchenette. Landlord and tenants are welcoming and helpful. Free WiFi and Direct TV with 36" tv.
Apartment building is owner-occupied and studio is tenant-run. Hosts are a young couple in the apartment next door, who prefer to meet in person to greet and give keys. This is a safe, respectful building community who are all aware of our hosting guests.
  • Amazing place , amazing people , would do it again anytime.

    Samantha2015-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Both the studio itself and Danny as a host were perfect. The space was compact and good for a couple, it was safe, clean and in a great location for exploring both on foot and for getting to transport. Danny was a great host (even minding out bags the day we left) and I definitely recommend the apartment.

    Ruth2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice hosts and a nice backyard!

    Peik2015-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very accommodating host who was very easy to reach even during my stay. The place is great for a weekend trip for a couple. My only complaints would be that the cable TV remote was broken -- an easy fix -- and that the WiFi did not connect on my computer (which I think was my computer's fault, not the WiFi's). Otherwise, a very comfy and cute atmosphere in a super cute neighborhood.

    Rebecca2016-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • It was a nice looking room in a good area. We had a couple issues: the oven didn't work and the heat was not enough to warm the place up on this particularly cold weekend. A space heater was provided, but even using that with the radiator wasn't sufficient. I did mention these problems, and didn't receive any help from the host.

    Katherine2016-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Danny's studio is perfect to discover Brooklyn and Manhattan. Me and my friend stayed 7 nigths and we really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend Danny's studio!

  • Danny and June’s place was great. Perfect studio apartment for a weekend getaway. Very timely responses, and everything we needed was supplied. 10/10

  • We only stayed here one night and didn't have a lot of time with Danny or June, but they were nice enough to let us leave our luggage with them the next day after check out which was a huge help! We had everything we needed there, it is a small place but has a lovely little yard. Thank you for being generous with your space!

This clean, light filled, renovated studio is ideally suited for a working professional or couple seeking the neighborhood feel of Brooklyn. Located adjacent to the Navy Yard and Steiner Studios, enjoy the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill neighborhoods. The studio is positioned in the front of a larger artist loft apartment but very private with your own street-level entrance, kitchenette, bathroom. It is separated from the main loft by a dividing wall, however we share some common airspace.
While the studio is a separate space, it is still part of a much larger (1,700sf) live/work artist loft apartment that is home to myself, my partner and 14-year old son and for this reason it is a legal NYC airbnb guest space. We prefer long-term monthly rentals. For the past-two years I have enjoyed using the front of my loft as a space to host airbnb guests and we have just completed a major renovation of this space with a glass partition wall, new kitchen and bathroom. While the unit is separated for privacy it shares air-space on the ground floor and is partitioned by a glass wall with white blinds for added privacy. Please let us know your needs and we will keep the sounds to a minimum from our side of the loft. The studio has a modern fridge, convection oven, hotplate, electric kettle, and coffee maker, a kitchen table+two chairs and a small selection of cookware, utensils, and eating/drinking-ware. You sleep on a beautiful and comfortable queen sized canopy bed with linen curtains than can be drawn for added privacy or coziness. The private bathroom consists of a tiled shower, basin, and toilet. It is located at the entrance hall of the main loft/apartment, mere steps from your bedroom. However, it is still quite private. High speed wireless internet. Cable television are also available, as needed. As a requirement of the building management, I will ask that guests sign a liability waiver upon sign in. Guest will benefit from their own private entrance through ground level glass doors. Long stay guest will also benefit from cleaning and laundry services. I have lived in the property for over 15 years and have seen the neighborhood transformed into what it is now -- a thriving creative fun destination. I live and work as a full time artist in the loft behind your space with my son and dog. Feel free to ask me anything about the city. I'll be happy to share with you my favorite dives, restaurants, and knowledge of the art community. On the block we have a reliable restaurant (El Porto), a coffee shop (Brooklyn Coffee Rosters), a specialty wine store (Grapeshot), and the Body by Brooklyn Body Spa. There is also overnight street parking. We are half a block from the Brooklyn Navy Yard, home to Steiner Studios and a host of small creative industries. Fort Greene is considered one of Brooklyn's prime neighborhoods. The apartment is walking distance to the beautiful Fort Greene Park, the Brooklyn Flea market, Myrtle Avenue, and tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. It is also a short walk to Pratt Institute, Atlantic Center Mall, Barclay Center, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), where you can catch film, theater, dance, music, and more. Traveling by car, no problem we have street parking and parking under the BQE. Public Transportation: a short walk to the G, and C stops on Washington Ave (8-10min). Or try taking the bus to the express subway stations. Bus #61 stops on Park Ave., Bus #57 stops on Flushing Ave., every 8-10 minutes. Travel time to Brooklyn's Downtown Jay Street train station or Broadway (the Williamsburg L-Train) is 8-10 minuets, both fast ways to commute into the city. City Bikes are conveniently located on the corner of our block and we are within biking distance to Dumbo, Clinton Hill, and Williamsburg. We are also a 10-minute cab ride into Lower Manhattan via the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges (1.3 miles from our door) -- and for those with a little extra time we are a 22 min walk through Fort Green to the Atlantic Center Terminal (B,D, N, R, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5 Long Island Railroad). Our guests have also used Cars2Go, a convenient car rental option for use in Brooklyn. Pets are welcome provided that they get along with kids and other animals. House trained and quiet.

  • Bradley's place was great! Be aware that the wall doesn't go to the ceiling, so it is an open space. We could hear everything, which we didn't mind. Bed was very comfortable and it was easy to get in and out of the building. I'd stay there again!

    Claire2019-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Both my husband and i really enjoyed living for two weeks at brads studio. He is an excellent host and even cooked us a barbicue to get to know us better! We loved meeting his son and girlfriend and his dog casey of course! We strongly recommend anyone traveling to NY to stay there and rent the bicycles that you have in the corner! The subway is a bit far but the bikes are the solution! Thaank you for everything brad!

  • I had a great time staying here! Bradley is very kind and accommodating. The apartment itself is unique and very Brooklyn! You have a private entry, and a private kitchen and bathroom. There is a wonderful wine store right next door and Brooklyn Roasting Company is right down the block! I definitely recommend this room/apartment for anyone.

  • This Airbnb was a great location and a good value for the price.

    Jamie2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Natasha and Bradley were very welcoming and accomodating. Their sweet son and dog made the place even more unique and warm. They've even went far to look after my luggage before checking in which made my trip a lot easier. The location of the place is unique. There is a great view of the city, a film studio, and the surroundings are something hard to find in any other place. The place itself is as clearly described divided by a glass wall, sharing air space with the host's studio/home which looks again unique and wonderful. The guest's place also is beautifully curated from colour co-ordination, art works on the wall, beautiful bed, etc. Provided are guest's own entrance, private kitchen, bathroom, and of course the bedroom / living space. But do note that the private bathroom is just outside the guest's area, and at the time of my stay as I found out upon arrival there was yet to be a door knob or lock as the refurbishment wasn't fully finished. But the door did close firmly. There wasn't a lock on the door that separates the host's and the guest's. But since Natasha and Bradley are very accomodating, upon request I assume something could be done. There was an incident between a neighbour and the hosts unfortunately during my stay. Though from my standpoint, it was an unfortunate timing and the fault lied with the neighbour to the point I felt sorry for the hosts. Although I've kept to myself, Natasha and Bradley were very welcoming inviting me to dinner, giving wonderful recommendations of places to visit. If you are in New York looking for a unique memorable room and experience then this might just be the place you are looking for.

    Eugenie2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Bradley’s place is cozy and inviting, not to mention a very cool artist space. He and his family were excellent hosts and made me feel welcome right from the start. The Fort Greene / Clinton Hill area is a beautiful neighborhood that’s worth exploring. A great Brooklyn find!

  • I really enjoyed staying at Brad´s place. It´s a nice studio, with generous space and great atmosphere. The neiborhood is friendly and there is a very good natural food store just around the corner. In fact, what I liked most was the company of Bradley, together with Natasha, Otis and Kaisy (the wonderful dog). I would definetively stay there again, as we became friends. Brad is a generous person and a very good artist.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Bradley and Natasha`s place. The space is beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the hosts are very kind and accommodating. The neighbourhood feels safe and the studio is located very close to subway and bus stops. Would highly recommend to stay here.

  • Gary was responsive to our requests, which was helpful in adding to the comfort of the space. Apartment #1F is easily accessible and located in a clean, attractive neighborhood. We found the space comfortable for a couple, even for a lengthy stay. The large closet added to the ease of this efficiency apartment. We hope to stay here again when we return to Brooklyn.

This AirBnB is the top floor of a 1901 building on a historic block in Fort Greene. The host lives in the garden level apartment (aka basement). The neighborhood is absolutely stunning, and the NYC Ferry just opened two blocks down the street in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. The apartment is very accessible and has wonderful restaurants, bars, arts venues, and activities in close walking distance. There is even a rooftop vineyard two blocks from the house that features movie nights!
Upper Floor Includes: Two bedrooms, a full bathroom, spacious living room, outfitted kitchenette, and private balcony (with electric grill!). Shares an entrance with the lower floor. Please note that the floor is private, but not completely separate apartment from the space below (divided by full stairs and a landing). Each of the 2 bedrooms includes a dresser and shelving, and the two couches in the living room can be pulled out for extra sleeping space. Access to the backyard is included via key. Host and her pets live in basement apartment.
  • The place was great for a short stay in the city, following our previous host pulling out of our accommodation just a couple of days before our stay. It was comfortable and offered all the amenities we required. Just a short 30 minute travel into the city. Near to local chains and shops such as Walgreens, Chipotle, Subway and a supermarket which means you don’t have to worry about travel into the city for necessities. Great place to stay, would definitely recommend and would come again. Thanks both.

  • Cool space in great neighborhood. Walk to the NYC Ferry and Brooklyn Navy Yard.

    Allison2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • The place was ok but don't recommend if you have kids - the hosts were not very accommodating or understanding. They were more focused on extracting additional money and making the case for why they weren't responsible for something rather than trying to help solve issues that came up. An example is the fact that they focused on the fact that AirBnB made a mistake in posting their check in time rather than helping us deal with the fact that we now had to check in later than expected.

A modern, cozy and bright 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom. That's right! You as a guest will have your own private bathroom ! Apartment is located in Fort Greene with easy access to Fort Greene Park, great restaurants and coffee shops. This apartment is conveniently located to other great Brooklyn attractions! Transportation: 15 minute walk to DeKalb Station (Q, R, B trains) 15 minute walk to LaFayette Station (C train) 5 minute by bus to F (York Street) Citi Bikes on both corners
Modern, cozy and bright one bedroom and bathroom available in a two bed/two bathroom apartment. The room includes a desk, dresser and closet with hangers for your use. Also, the guest will have their own private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Kitchen has been nicely renovated and can be used by guest.
Fort Greene is a great neighborhood - tons of restaurants, coffee shops and most of all Fort Greene Park. Easy walk to all the other great Brooklyn neighborhoods, or quick bike ride or subway ride to Manhattan. Citibike is on both corners of Carlton so easy access if you want to take a ride.
  • Steve was very friendly and helpful in providing us info on what to check out in the city. He had a little folder in the room that included a map on how to get around the city (felt like a hotel room). The location is about 20 mins walking from the metro, so I recommend getting a CitiBike pass. Overall, our stay in the room was very comfortable! We had a great time.

    Jada2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Steve's place is small but exactly as advertised. The room itself was a good size and very clean, as was the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and the neighborhood/street pretty quiet. Steve himself is a nice person - friendly yet not too intrusive. I felt very comfortable being in his home after meeting him. The location was pretty good too (considering the price of the stay). It took me about 10 minutes to walk to amazing restaurants on DeKalb, 20 minutes to walk to the Brooklyn Academy of Music and 25 minutes to walk to DUMBO. I felt safe walking to all these neighborhoods during the day and early evening. (I took cabs late at night).

    Marianne2017-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • it was such an nice apartment, we will be there again!

    VICE Media2018-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a steal! I'm from Philly so I dig the "hood" if it were. That means bodegas opened late and a lot more people watching...which I love. I stayed for the AP musical fest so it being within walking distance of the park which was a major perk. The neighbors were hella friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised at how chill the area was with parking and the noise being basically nil. The photos are true to the apt and it's a good size for two people for sure. The only other thing I would suggest is getting a mini tv for the living area but with fast wifi and my own personal tablet I was able to watch my weekend shows undisturbed. I would definitely stay here again.

    Tré2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Steve was a polite host and the apartment was spotlessly clean. I left a day early because the movement from something (a train?) physically shakes the bed multiple times over the night and it kept waking me up. Wifi cut out three times during my stay - Steve fixed it each time.

    Charlotte2019-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Steve was very helpful upon our arrival. He explained everything in detail and even had a folder with restaurants and transportation info attached. Room and washroom were clean.

    Jennifer2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my wife spent 4 days in this apt. It was clean and 100% as in pictures. Steve has been a great host!

    Matteo2015-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • The description was accurate and Steve was very knowledgable of the area and happy to give advice of places to eat and drink. I had a great time staying at Steves place, the room was clean and the light was beautiful.

My apartment is ideally located at the border between Dumbo, the Brooklyn Bridge and Downtown Brooklyn. It's a brand new building with gym, laundry, 24/7 doorman, common deck and views. The apartment has a great kitchen, comfy beds & AppleTV. There are 8 different metros less than 5 minutes away & you can reach any part of the city really fast. The restaurant scene is quite vibrant in our neighborhood. My place has appealed to couples, solo adventurers and business travelers.
This south and west facing corner apartment gets amazing natural light throughout the day. I never turn on the lights until sundown. The washer and dryer make it really convenient so you don't have to over pack. I am a bit of a minimalist so the apartment has a bright, clean, uncluttered feel to it.
La Defense for a French Café. City Point across the street for shopping (Target, Century 21) and the new Dekalb food hall with 20+ Brooklyn food vendors (I love this place), Ganso for ramen. Dekalb on the south side of Ft. Greene park: Walter's, Karasu, Dino, Roman's, Dick & Jane, The Great Georgiana, Mekong BK
  • The apartment is exactly as seen in the pictures, clean and spacious. Chris is very friendly and gives great tips for things to do around the city. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the subway which was ideal for getting around. Would highly recommend a stay here with Chris.

    Jason2018-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This space is such a great value. We stayed here for a birthday trip/concert at Barclays. Might I add, we arrived in a TERRIBLE snow storm, so conditions for exploring the neighborhood were not ideal, but the venue was not far by Uber and transit is available. There is also a nice spot with local favorites on DeKalb (that Chris recommended) that was very convenient and had a wide range of options. Everything was clean and spacious and as far as the space itself, it is very chic-- lots of white accents. My one recommendation is that if you are a person who require a large bed, be aware that it is a twin with a trundle. That personally wasn't a problem for me, but that is literally the only drawback. All in all, great space and host--definitely would recommend this place!

  • Chris was a great host and this was a very good location to stay at. Check in was very clear and easy. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We primarily were there to sight see in Manhattan and this was a perfect location for accessing the train into the city. We did not get to meet Chris in person, however he was very prompt and helpful with communications.

    Matthew2018-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Christopher’s place is homey feeling and exactly as described on the website. Neighbor is great location and right across the street from the train to take you anywhere in Manhattan! I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Brooklyn or Manhattan! Chris is really nice and easy to talk to and can give advice on things to do in both Brooklyn and Manhattan if you’re looking to visit New York and not do the typical tourist things! Hopefully can stay here again next time I’m in New York! Thanks again Chris

  • It was a very great stay, in a clean appartment with a super comfy bed and a cool dog. A big plus is of course, that both are super kind and take their time to explain and show you things. Due to my short stay I didn't had time to get to know them, but the way they also provide info material (e.g. metromap) it'll the perfect airbnb for an longer stay to explore New York.

  • Carrie, Alex, and Chester were great hosts! They had maps of the area and of New York for us, as well as other suggestions in conversation. Carrie was super helpful and friendly to talk to. Apartment was super cute and easy to get to. Recommend to anyone for sure. Also, how could you pass up a chance to meet Chester? Cutest Yorkie ever. Thank you Carrie, Alex and Chester. :)

  • My boyfriend and I had a nice stay at Carrie's place. Her and Alex were very nice people. Their dog is adorable and definitely made the stay that much better. I do recommend that people staying here use ear plugs as the bedroom is right beside a main road that can get quite noisy at night. Hospitality was great and the location was very close to a few great streets with a lot of restaurants and bars.

LaRina Pastificio & Vino (Restaurant & Bar): Serves up great Italian comfort food in a lively dining room. Has a huge selection of cocktails, beer and wine at their bar.

The cottage is just a few short blocks from beautiful Fort Greene Park, the Brooklyn Flea market and tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. It is also a short walk to Pratt Institute, Atlantic Center Mall, Barclay Center, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), where you can catch film, theater, dance, music, and more. Adjacent to the Brooklyn Bridge, it is just a few short subway stops to Manhattan, and is close to other favorite 'hoods, including Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, and Brooklyn Heights.
  • Sarah's cottage is lovely and quiet. It's well fitted out and is a little home from home. Subway is a short walk and there is plenty of shops and food outlets on the doorstep. Highly recommend if you don't want to base yourself in Manhattan.

  • Our stay at Fort Greene cottage was one of the easiest I've experienced through Airbnb. The neighbourhood is very central in Brooklyn and easy to find, just a ten minute walk from Atlantic Avenue metro station. The cottage is small but clean and cozy – perfect for one or two people. Sarah has thought of everything so we called for nothing! I highly recommend. Thanks for having us Sarah.

  • Great place to stay! We had a really good time in this extremely cozy cottage. Easy to get around NYC from this place. And what a great backyard to hang out in. Also, the communication with the hosts was excellent and they always reply fast to my questions. Great experience!

  • We really enjoyed staying at Sarah's apartment in Brooklyn. It was perfectly furnished, completely private and beautifully clean. It's in a great neighbourhood, with some fantastic restaurants nearby and well connected to Manhattan. Both Sarah and Allon were lovely hosts - very welcoming but left us to our own devices. We highly recommend their studio and will happily return if we have the chance.

  • Fort greene is a really sweet charming area of Brooklyn, and Sarah's place is very nice. It feels like a quiet retreat and it's easy walking distance to some great food, Fort Greene park and the Brooklyn bridge. My 19 year old daughter and I stayed for two nights and had a great time. thanks Sarah!

  • Perfect cottage, sparkling clean, with all the needed amenities for our 5 night stay. Forte Green is a fabulous neighbourhood with great restaurants and shops all a short walk away. Also so much choice for Subway stations, located no more then a 15 min walk and very easy to get to the other boroughs of NYC. Thanks for great stay Allon!!

  • Great place and as advertised. I would use this again and recommend others as well. It was nice little guest house in behind the owners property, with own private entrance. Owner was available when needed (which was rare since everything was working fine) but also gave us our privacy. They were also flexible with check and check out times. Clean, modern and all the amenities one would need.

This AirBnB is the first floor of a 1901 building on a historic block in Fort Greene. The hosts live in the basement apartment.
Each of the 2 bedrooms includes shelving and ample storage, and the couch in the living room can be pulled out for extra sleeping space. Access to the backyard is included via key as well as the private balcony access.
  • Great spot with excellent proximity to the Myrtle strip and anything you need. Perfect for an affordable business drop in.

  • We were 2 couples and wanted to share a place while visiting NYC, so this was perfect for us. We only slept here, and were out all day. We were able to park our car for free in front of the building. There is a bagel places and some pharmacies nearby which was convenient. It’s a good price and would recommend! This is a split level place with an apartment on main floor and one on second floor. You get your own living area and own bathroom. There was a little confusion with the group that was staying upstairs but everything was sorted out, and Genevieve quickly responded to all our questions.

  • This place has a lot of opportunities when visiting NY! It’s spacious, has all the comfort you need and a great host! Genevieve has great tips, making your NY visit as convenient as possible! It’s a good thing we skipped Manhattan for Brooklyn! It’s much more authentic and away from the tourist traps.
