Stay a few nights in our A-Liner Classic. Walking distance from downtown Santa Rosa, and Luther Burbank Gardens. Enjoy our backyard chickens eggs, bio-light fire pit, or a night out on the town. Perfect for guests with low maintenance needs, a place to lay their head, and involved with something daily (weddings, work, conferences, school, and site-seeing vacationer’s, etc…)
It’s glamping and walking distance to all things downtown Santa Rosa can provide.
All things downtown! Diners, pubs, breweries, parks, theaters, gardens, local events, and plenty of hip restaurants.
  • As described, friendly hosts, having fresh eggs from the chickens was a nice touch. Comfortable stay!

  • Such a great, fun space. We loved it and a really friendly couple too. Would love to stay again.

  • A little small, but definitely a great place if you need a place to sleep. It was comfy (warm or cold because ac/heater was efficient) and had nice privacy. The hosts made it super easy for my wife and I and the were incredibly nice. Would definitely stay again, especially for that price!

    Julian2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nice stay, appreciated the space heater. Parking is on the street and may require a little walking.

Serene, cozy, detached studio in a garden setting; with a private entrance. It is in one of the best neighborhoods in Santa Rosa, with Victorian houses and beautiful trees. There's a queen size bed and kitchenette with coffee maker, brand new microwave, mini-refrigerator, toaster, cups, glasses, silverware, coffee, and snacks; a walk-in closet, dresser, table with 2 chairs, a small desk and a wool rug. The bathroom is in the main house. This is a scent free, natural home.
There is usually parking near the house. The studio has two windows and gets good light. You have WIFI and there is also an assortment of books. Enjoy your own private garden. No bathroom in the studio, you need to walk 30 feet to go into the main house and use the bathroom. The bathroom in the main house has a tub and shower, also quality bath towels, wash cloth and hand towels. Shampoo and soap are provided. The main house is a very charmer older Victorian style home with a big bay window. Please be aware that this is a home that is pretty much scent free. Please do not use strongly scented products in the house or studio. That includes essential oils, and no air fresheners or incense please.
We are close to everything, you could walk to downtown, where you find the Russian river Brewery and other Pubs along with outstanding restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Mexican, Thai, Brazilian and Vegan menus along with many other choices. There are numerous wineries nearby and the ocean is 35 minutes from here.
  • This was such a lovely place to stay. I was busy working on my trip but the bed was so comfortable and coming from Los Angeles it was so quiet and peaceful. I had a chance to sit in the garden. Marianne’s touches are so thoughtful and the apples she had on the table were absolutely delicious. The location was fantastic, beautiful streets to walk around with lovely architecture. I walked to a wonderful cafe and if I had time would’ve liked to explore more. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would gladly do so again.

Our tree shaded studio cottage is one block from the heart of downtown. Stay just a two block walk from Russian River Brewing. This clean and quiet cottage has a full kitchen, a comfortable queen bed.
The cottage is clean, comfortable and private
My cottage is right downtown. If you want to be able to be in the center of the action this is the place for you. If you want to be able to walk to restaurants, theaters, bars, pubs and shops this is the place for you.
  • Matthew's cottage was perfect. Checking in was seamless and I couldn't really ask for much else. It's been cold lately and there was a heater (YES!). It's within walking distance of a few good spots and the place was quite snug. This is one happy visitor.

  • We enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as advertised. It was very easy to check in and out. The bed was comfortable and there was bottled water, coffee and creme readily available. We would stay here again.

    Steve2017-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew's cottage is centrally located and is in walking distance to several restaurants. He has furnished it with anything you could imagine that you might need or want. All the amenities are included. The cottage is clean, attractive, and private. There is a parking permit provided, so parking is not an issue. Matthew is readily available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this cottage and will likely return there in the future.

    Ginger2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location, and Matthew made the check in and check out process a breeze. He was responsive and flexible. Maybe a matter of taste, but I would prefer a more firm mattress.

  • R.J. was a super host that drawn us to stay at his AirBNB for the 6th time we visited Santa Rosa. We will for sure come back again in the future.

  • Good value for the location. Close to Russian River Brewery and some awesome restaurants. RJ communicated check in and out through the Airbnb app and also provided his phone number if we had any questions. Clean and comfy.

    Hayley2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • RJ and his family were so nice, very accommodating, and he always responded quickly to my messages. His home was very clean and had all the amenities as described. The bed was quite comfortable too. Having use of the kitchen and laundry room as well as a small fridge in our room along with the light breakfast fare that was provided certainly helped cut costs on our trip. The neighborhood was quaint and I felt very safe the entire time. I would highly recommend booking here! Most of the time our lives didn't intersect with our host family, so it felt very private too.

    Jane2016-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Archie's place was just perfect for us. There were so many nice amenities, so many thoughtful touches. The continental breakfast was appreciated, especially the coffee. All the labels really helped us understand exactly what to do. We would definitely return!

    Rachael2017-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable. We used the kitchen a fair amount, making several of our meals, and enjoyed that freedom as well. We spent a lovely morning at the Luther Burbank Gardens. Also found a great cafe, just 2 blocks from the house, where we had a great breakfast and lunch.

    Mary2015-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This place is perfect! The location was exactly what we were looking for and it was much cheaper than staying at a hotel. RJ was very pleasant and nice - he even set up a little continental breakfast for us - bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea... The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. We definitely hope to stay again soon!

    Amy2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • R.J. was a great, friendly host who welcomed us upon our arrival, giving us the tour of his home and our accommodations. We had a very comfortable room and bath. We spent time with friends on their lovely porch. This was our first Air B&B experience and it won't be our last, thanks to R.J.

    Tami2016-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! Super clean and a nice room. We were only in town for one night, so due to scheduling we didn't meet R.J. face to face, but he was great about responding to messages. Perfect walking distance to Russian River Brewing, and short drive to other local breweries!

Our rustic bungalow is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy nature-in-the-city! It's simple, cozy, and close to downtown + the Russian River Brewery! It is a no-frills space that is full of character. PLEASE READ THE DETAILS BELOW.
**Please read all details and cancellation policy before booking!** Check in time will be arranged in advance of your arrival based on our mutual schedules AFTER 4pm. You will have your own private space in our backyard. It is RUSTIC, small, creative, interesting, and fun. You won't be camping, but it is not 100% insulated either. Space heater is available in the winter and a fan in the summer. It is not fancy, but you will find everything that you need including shampoo, soap, toothpaste, fruit on the trees if in season. There is a twin bed (& extra mattress for 2nd person if needed), TOILET & SINK ALL IN ONE ROOM (w/privacy curtain), and an outdoor shower. The space measures about 13'x7', has a tin roof, and the ceiling clearance is about 5' 7", so not the best space if you are a tall person, unless you plan to be out most of your visit or sit/sleep a lot. You may or may not hear owls, raccoons, crows, turkeys, cats, and the leaves on the trees. There is an additional fee for each additional guest. No outside guests that are not on the reservation - even day guests. Hablamos español. Je comprends le français.
The neighborhood is a 10 minute walk from downtown, the Russian River Brewery, and the Hyatt Hotel Conference Center. It is full of beautiful old houses, cafes, narrow streets, and lots of cats. Parking is only on the north side of the street (please don't park in the driveway or block other driveways).
  • Erika and Bridget were extremely communicative which made getting there and checking in a breeze. They were outside waiting for us when we arrived, and spent a few minutes showing us around and giving us some advice on walking to dinner and drinks. The location was perfect - well within walking distance of all we wanted to do and had easy street parking right out front. The space does have a short ceiling, but even though both of us are tall, we had no issues with it. The shower was fantastic. One of the best I've had in a while! Strongly recommend staying in E&B's pad!

    Chris2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect little stay during my little trip through Sonoma County. The room was clean and had character, and right outside was their beautiful backyard garden (which included some delicious grapes for the picking!). Close to stores and places to eat and drink. Safe and lovely neighborhood.

    Jack2015-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • I was greeted very warmly and everything was explained fully. This cool little place was just as described, Very very cozy. If it's small and cozy you're looking for, this is the place.

    Melane`2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • From the beginning my wife and I felt welcome and informed by the efforts of Erika and Bridget, both in the comfort of the room and the information they gave us about the neighborhood and other sights. By the way, the place is situated in the perfect location, nearby plenty of places to eat, near Santa Rosa Creek, and close to downtown.

    Jeffrey2015-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely little bungalow. It's in a good, quite neighborhood, clean and had everything I needed. I wasn't sure if I'll be fine with outside shower but it was great and very unusual. Thank you Erika and Bridget

    Alina2016-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome Hosts with the most cutest bungalow ever! I definitely enjoyed showering under the moon and stars!

    Amy2017-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • The host canceled this reservation 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

    Sereina2017-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Think of it as 5-star camping, spartan, but everything you need, and nice and clean, and the mattress is very nice - memory foam, I think. I do not mean this in a negative way, it is just factual: the ceiling is less than 6 feet high, so if you are over 5'9", it's mostly just a place to lay your head to sleep. If that's all you need, then this is a great value. And do not worry about the outdoor shower. I loved it. Actually enjoyed it more than an indoor shower (of course part of that was might have been finally being able to stand up straight after crouching down in the room). In short, I recommend this place as an excellent example of what it is: a heated shed with excellent bed and plumbing.

Our sweet studio has a comfortable and inviting feel. It is the perfect fit for a couple. A short walk to popular destinations like Russian River Brewery and Historic Railroad Square. Studio is also centrally located for brewery and wine tasting trips. Also, please check out our other two spaces on the same property. We have the capacity to accommodate more friends and family.
This is a well-lit, private space attached to the main home. We recently remodeled the bathroom and updated the studio. There is a comfy queen size bed, and some pleasant seating areas inside. The studio opens into an inviting and tranquil outdoor space that is great for reading, lounging or dining. WiFi Coffee/tea and a hotplate. There is NO television. There is no air conditioning in the studio, but there is a fan provided. Backyard is shared, but often private for you. Just let us know if you'd like something special, and we'll do what we can to accommodate. We love to get to know our guests if the opportunity arrises and of course appreciate the interests of privacy and seclusion. The Junior College Neighborhood is the oldest neighborhood in Santa Rosa. It is rich in diverse architecture with homes dating back into the late 1800's. The area is great for walking, and has an incredible variety of heritage trees. The JC Neighborhood is also a devoted and welcoming community of diversity and inclusion. A quick stroll through the streets and you will see what we mean. Downtown is a 5-10 minute walk, taking you to some great restaurants and breweries. Russian River Brewery, Belly, La Vera, El Coqui Puerto Rican cuisine, Sizzling Tandoor, County Bench, Historic Railroad Square, and other ethnic and gastro-pub eateries, are all within a 5-15 minute walk.
The Junior College neighborhood is the oldest and largest organized neighborhood is Santa Rosa with many homes having been built at the end of the 19th century. It is a beautiful area for walking where you will see some truly amazing homes with incredible landscaping. You will also get a taste of why Santa Rosa is named "The City of Trees"
  • David, Thank you so much for hosting us. The location was perfect for our Country Summer adventure. The cottage was the perfect size, very clean and has everything we needed for a quick night sleep. You were very easy to communicate with and I appreciate you working with us on the check-in time. Thank you!

  • We didn't get to enjoy the lovely backyard and space as much as we would have liked after seeing it. Since we were in town for an event, we basically only crashed here. But we woke up to birds chirping and were very refreshed. There were even chocolates on the pillow for us when we checked in :) Hotels stopped doing that for us a long time ago.

His fenced yard is the perfect spot for them. It's a nice quiet neighborhood which is close to town. David is a very nice host, and we hope to come back again.

Private bedroom with en suite bath in a beautiful Victorian farmhouse just steps away from downtown. Price includes 12% tax. As the average annual high for Santa Rosa is ~71F there is no AC, however the room has a fan.
We have a comfy tempurpedic-style queen sized bed and a rollaway single bed.
We are walking distance to both of the downtown districts and the Russian River Brewing Company.
  • Krissie’s home is a beautiful immaculate place to stay. Great amenities. The location is very convenient near shopping center and in downtown Santa Rosa area. Krissie is an amazing and wonderfully kind host. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was a great experience!

    Priscilla2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very well kept house , nice room with the most comfortable bed, everything you could ever need while travelling already in your room and a wonderful host! Kristie io so kind and helpful, she makes you feel right at home and goes completely out of her way to make your stay amazing. Meeting other guests in the evening and at breakfast makes for wonderful company and a great all round experience! Highly recommend!

    Susan2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie is the best Airbnb host I have ever stayed with: incredibly warm hospitality in a lovely home within easy walking distance of downtown Santa Rosa. She really exemplifies the "bnb" part of it, too: comfortable beds, nicely decorated rooms, and more breakfast than we could handle! I stayed here one night with my mom and aunt during a short tour of Napa and Sonoma but wish we could have stayed longer: Krissie's home and engaging conversation made it hard to leave. 10/10, would definitely stay again!

    Eric2018-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Classic house in great location. Close to downtown and mall.

    George2019-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie, who lives in the house full time, was as friendly and intimate with us as other guests have noted. If you enjoy the company of the host, this is the place for you. The food was as delicious as all of the other guests have mentioned. The house, listed as a Victorian, is new construction in the Victorian style--if that matters to you. While there is a self check in, Krissie met us at the door. The house is ten minutes from the airport which was the reason for our stay. We stayed in the room with private bath.

    Christina2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie's accommodations set the bar for hospitality and comfort. From the personal greeting when we arrived to the perfectly described and well-adorned room, to the phenomenal breakfast we had in the morning, Krissie takes you as one of her own. Thank you so much for the excellent accommodation and welcome that we felt! This place/person is amazing!

    Julian2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Krissie was likely the best Airbnb experience my girlfriend and I have ever had. She made our stay in Santa Rosa more wonderful than we could have ever imagined. Upon arrival, Krissie made us feel welcome in her home. She showed us to our rooms, making sure to explain all of the nuances of the house along the way. She insisted that my girlfriend and I make ourselves at home. She even showed us where she kept tea, coffee, snacks, silverware, dishes, and mugs, and insisted that we help ourselves. In the living room, she has a number of informative books, brochures, pamphlets, and guides for things to do in and around Santa Rosa. There was information about restaurants, cafes, bars, breweries, and (of course) a number of books dedicated to the multitude of world-class wineries in the area. The books even had sticky-notes with guest recommendations, not to mention her own favorite destinations. Our room was clean and our bed was incredibly comfortable. We had our own private bathroom stocked with everything we needed for our stay. She even showed us where to find extra blankets in case we got cold. Her house is less than a mile from the downtown area; there are a variety cafes, restaurants, and bars within a short walk's distance. It only took us about 10 minutes to get to Russian River's brewpub—you can't beat that. In the morning, Krissie made us an amazing breakfast of fresh fruit, waffles, granola, and homemade omelets. It was delicious! Krissie is kind, gentle, welcoming, loving, intelligent, compassionate, and generous. I would recommend staying with her for anyone near the Santa Rosa area. I will, without a doubt, be staying with Krissie next time I visit Santa Rosa.

Just steps away from the Courthouse Square and only a few more over to Railroad Square, this bedroom has double paned windows with blackout shades, and a large tub. The 2nd bed is a queen size air mattress. Price includes 12% tax. As the average annual high for Santa Rosa is ~71F there is no AC, however the room has a fan.
The room features a writing desk, a queen sized bed, a double sink vanity, a 4.4CF mini-fridge, and a large tub.
  • Great host, very comfortable bed, would definitely like to come back again.

  • Amazing host! We really enjoyed being hosted by Krissie. She is a wonderful person to get To know and a fabulous chef. Breakfast was fantastic and so was the conversation. Nice big, clean room to stay in with comfortable bed. Room got warm at night but we opened the window and it was fine. Recommended stay!

  • Don't walk... run to Arvita & Krissie's home! Plan your vacation around their availability. It's that good. It's really, really, really that good. The sumptuous, delicious and hearty breakfast is only surpassed by A & K's warmth and generosity. If you like coffee.... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Aaron2017-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • THIS IS THE BEST AIRBNB I have ever stayed! Krissie not only has a beautiful house but she is such a gracious and thoughtful hostess! She really makes us feel like home, she is not just saying that, but her genuine care for her guests expressed it all. We got to talked to Krissie more during breakfast (super delicious by the way) and she has such an inspiring life story to share. This is truly a wonderful stay in many many ways!

    Pao H.2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie was such a fantastic host, and we had a great stay here! The room and large private bathroom were both very spacious, comfortable, and clean. Krissie also served us a delicious breakfast in the morning and packed some snacks for us for the road. She was so accommodating and sweet, and she really went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. I would absolutely love to stay here again the next time I visit Santa Rosa!

    Stephanie2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Arvita was very responsive before arrival. She ended up being out of town while we were there, but her mother Krish was there to help us with anything we needed. They were very flexible with our late arrival time. The room was pretty much as described. The bathroom door in the master sticks a little bit, but she warned us about that and wasn't really much of an issue. Krish was great and very kind. We definitely would go back if in the area again.

    Aaron2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Krissie offers a comfortable and welcoming stay in her home. The room in which we stayed was spacious, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. Krissie provided a lovely breakfast which was delicious and healthy. She helped us with directions to our destinations while we were in Santa Rosa. She is extremely kind, warm, generous and will certainly help you enjoy your visit. Her thoughtfulness will be the gift which you take with you

    Jill2018-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Arvita & Krissie's place was incredible! The room itself was so spacious and beautiful. Their home is in an old Victorian that has been renovated, and so the rooms inside are wonderful. The room itself had a huge bed, plenty of closet space and thoughtful decor. The bathroom was amazing!!! The tub was so big and the showerhead in the shower was perfect. The towels were soft and clean. Parking was totally fine. I was able to have tea with the host when I arrived and it totally set the tone for the whole trip of welcomness and family!

Our cozy single room with a separate entrance is a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Santa Rosa. It is a self-contained space, similar to a hotel room. In the heart of Wine Country, the room is located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet Historic Ridgeway neighborhood. The room was recently remodeled with a new bathroom, double doors, new windows and a queen sized bed. We respect our guests’ privacy and make it as easy as possible.
This room is probably best for single guests or couples who are just looking for a comfortable place to crash while in Wine Country! There is an alarm clock, wifi, tea and coffee makers, a TV (and Roku with Netflix and Amazon Video), and a microwave, a toaster oven, and a mini-fridge. We also have central air and heat. A little bit about us...We are a small family with two dogs, a cat, and a toddler. Since the room is attached to our home (and shares a wall with our kitchen) guests will hear us in the house. We are very mindful of this and try to manage noise when we have tenants and appreciate when people let us know if we are being too loud. My 3 year old son is pretty much obsessed with Jimi Hendrix, so on any given stay, his vocal rendition of Voodoo Chile or Purple Haze may reach the room through the wall or connecting door. He plays a very loud air guitar.
The neighborhood is one of the most desirable and sought after areas of Santa Rosa. The quaint homes and beautiful landscapes will make you want to stay! Our favorite restaurants in town are Walter Hansel Bistro in west Santa Rosa for classy local dining, Paradise Sushi in Railroad Square (incredible quality and all you can eat for 24$), Sazon (Peruvian) for amazing Ceviche, and of course Russian River Brewery (but if you are really into craft beer, you have to check out Cooperage)
  • Allison and Nikki were great hosts and the place was very cute! Just what we needed. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier.

  • Super cute accomodations in a nice neighborhood and great location. We walked to town for dinner and coffee. Would reccomend for sure!

  • Allison is a great hostess ! Really good communication. Check in was a breeze. The room is super clean and had everything I needed.

  • Allison's place is in a quiet neighborhood location with in a short walk to the College and lots of shops On Mendocino Ave.

    Mike2018-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Allison’s guest casita is perfect for a short trip to Santa Rosa. I was in town for a conference and needed a convenient and quite place. Everything that you might require for a few days was provided and Allison always responded very timely and helpful when I messaged her a question. The location is great, as well, in a very quite neighborhood but at the same time only a short walk away from nice bars, cafes, and daily amenities that you might need. I can only recommend her place!

    Elaine2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a sweet room with a great location.

    Phineas2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Allison’s location is conveniently walkable, and Santa Rosa is a fun spot to stay! I believe we walked less than a mile to the heart of downtown. The room was quite large and spacious, and Allison provided plenty of amenities that made our two-night stay very easy and comfortable. Thanks again, Allison!

    Erin2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Nice space. Quiet cul de sac in great neighborhood. Easy check in and communication. Host Allison was very gracious during my five night stay. She even did a load of laundry for me. Thank you Allison!

Just walk a few blocks and you're in the lively downtown with hot bars, guitars playing, and so many delicious food options! Anywhere you go you will get bad news, here is ours upfront: -Highway 12 is our backyard neighbor - Good side: it is raised up so what you see is a forest and we are very close to the highway access of 12 and 101. Bad side: highway hum primarily during the day you may not be used to. However, your room is on the side opposite the highway for added quiet. -Hidden behind an ivy covered fence across the street is a secluded towing company. They do not have many calls and most of their work is done during daylight hours. The drivers are considerate to the residential area. -Recycling center is one block away. Good side: you get your deposit back on beer. Bad side: you may see industrious people who recycle. -SMART Train runs in the distance. Take the SMART train from the Santa Rosa airport to the station 3 blocks from our home! Santa Rosa is declared a quiet zone, meaning that the train can only honk if there is an emergency. It is only a passenger train so noise is very minimal. Our street is peaceful given its awesome location downtown!

  • Matt and Katie have the most beautiful home. The room came with wine glasses which was a perfect touch on our location! They also had a complimentary wine tasting for us in the room which made us so excited. Matt gave great suggestions on Food & Beverage in Santa Rosa and nearby communities. Their home is stunning, clean and they have everything you need. Best part?! Their home is within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants. We had a very memorable and comfortable weekend. We will be back! Thank you Matt and Katie!!

He made sure we felt comfortable, had coffee and breakfast for us, and offer e suggestions for places to go/things to see. I’d definitely stay here again.

Open and inviting home with great lounging and relaxing areas. Walking distance to downtown. This is the perfect place for a couple wanting a spacious and relaxing home to enjoy, and also great for a small group to enjoy together. Great restaurants and bars nearby and centrally located for beer, spirits and wine touring. Ocean is 30 minute drive. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the cooking basics, spices, tea and coffee. I live on the property so am available if any needs arise.
Our home has been a creative and imaginative process over the past many years and now we'd like to share it with you. Two large upstairs bedrooms opening onto a terrace balcony overlooking lush landscaping. The downstairs is very open and includes a recently updated gourmet kitchen with gas stove and electric oven. Many comfortable lounge areas. There is a large raised patio off the kitchen and living area. Walk downtown is 7-10 minutes. Please note, we have an outdoor cat who is often welcomed into the house by guests. Please be aware if you have sensitivities to cats.
• The house is in a lovely neighborhood and close to everything. The house itself is peaceful, well appointed and just a lovely all around stay! Highly recommend!

    Rene2019-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • there was a dude in the house when we went to check in, said he was fixing a few things which was fine. but should of been done before we got there? we left for like an hour or so and the dude was still inside so we waited outside until he was done. house was beautiful, and the cat was super big, nice, lazy and very sweet. house was fully equipped with everything you can wish for. but at 9:30, the cleaning lady was downstairs with her son while I was upstairs showering and packing my belongings. my husband wasn't very happy about that so he called the host and he came over and the cleaning lady sat outside on the back porch. which was a little irritating.. she just walked in and didn't even check to see if anyone was there. my shoes and purse, and a few other things were on the couch so I dont understand why she came in anyways??? plus it wasn't even time for us to check out? other then that things were fabulous!

    Cesar2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kaycee was very nice and stayed up for our late arrival to make sure we got in. The suite upstairs has a wonderful vibe. Nice and private but big enough to really enjoy it. The bed was very comfortable and the clean sheets smelled so good and were comfy. It’s a nice big bathroom and we took advantage of the tub to have a good soak in. We added essential oils that Kaycee provided and that was a good touch. The house is in a great neighborhood close to downtown. We felt safe at all times. We appreciated that she provided snacks and sparkling water as well as bottled water. Her set up is really darling.

    Rachel2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • I was biased in favor of this guest apartment because it reminded me of one of my old second-story apartments - with angled ceilings, skylights, and a small gable window (which Kaycee thoughtfully set up for meditation). Kaycee also left us snacks and wine and made check-in and check-out very easy. Everything was clean and comfortable, and Santa Rosa was a good station for our time in Sonoma. Recommend!

Conveniently located minutes from some of Santa Rosa's best shopping, entertainment, and dining this home is the perfect blend of space and location. The home has recently under gone a small makeover in both the front and rear yards and was recently fully furnished but will be continually updated when not being used by guests so stay tuned for updates! This space is absolutely perfect for medium to large groups that want to come enjoy wine country, walk to one of the many excellent restaurants or breweries on the square, or business travelers looking for the comforts of home instead of a hotel.
The neighborhood has a downtown buzz & charm but is the quietest street among the many that are adjacent to the square and business district. Evening and weekends the street sees very little traffic and is similar to suburban neighborhood with the conveniences of being downtown.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Bobby’s place. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Spacious, yet cozy. The beds were super comfortable, the backyard was an added bonus. One of my favorite Airbnb stays yet. It’s also within close walking distance from the beautiful downtown area, which was awesome. Bobby responded to messages very quickly. Overall, a very pleasant stay in Santa Rosa.

  • Host was very quick to respond to any problems we had. we had a plumbing problem during our stay but we appreciated how fast he was to get a hold of and had a plumber out asap .

  • What a great place to stay if you're in Santa Rosa! Whether it's just you on a business trip, or you're traveling with the family and your pets, this place has everything you'd ever need. It's close to downtown for shopping or dining. You can literally walk because downtown is right around the corner. It's quiet at night and you feel safe. The house is both spacious and cozy. Three bedrooms and a full sized dining and living room. Full kitchen and a fully fenced backyard. There was even some workout equipment. The beds are very comfortable memory foam. My room had an adjustable bed frame with remote. This place was virtually spotless. It was so clean that it seemed like I was the first person to ever be in that house. This place is a gem. So comfortable and so seamless. I would highly recommend it. I hope I get the chance to stay here again.

  • This place was perfect! Very clean, great amenities, well-decorated, reasonably priced, and felt like home! We booked both rooms and would definitely come back if in the area again, we all strongly recommend! Steve was a fantastic host, was perfectly communicative and catered to our logistical needs! The fresh berries for breakfast were a great touch, and the backyard was a perfect spot to sit and eat breakfast, while feeding the fish in the Koi pond. Thanks again Steve!!

  • Only stayed for a night and left early in the morning for a flight but had a great stay, Steve was great, and nice walkable area!

  • Steve is an amazing guy, and takes care of you right away. The entire house is well decorated and very cleanly. The outside patio is refreshing and relaxing. Ask my questions were answered. He even drove us to a wedding we were attending. Do not hesitate to stay with Steve, he will take care of you

  • This is a fantastic place to stay. It is better then a bed and breakfast and not as high. Great host

    Emma2018-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • what a truly kind and amazing host, an artist and photographer, and his space is full of antiques.. he has a truly gorgeous back yard and and the guests are allowed to enjoy his space... host made the best granola by himself and fresh berries and high quality yogurt for breakfast....I was in the area to see my dentist and some friends out in guerneville...this location was truly perfect for me...Steve is always around to ensure checkin is smooth as was checkin.. the room I had was up on the second floor and he helped me with my bags.....I have a chronic condition that gets exacerbated by stress and so then I have a harder time with stairs...but he helped me as much as I needed...highly recommend, but as usually happens when I highly recommend then the next time I want to come around, well they are ALL full...oh well...

    Marina2018-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Steve was AMAZING! His recommendations made our trip unforgettable. His place is truly a work of art. We look forward to coming again just to stay with Steve in his oasis.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at this Airbnb for a fun two day brewery tour around Petaluma, Santa Rosa, and Sebastopol. It was perfectly located. We were able to walk to downtown Santa Rosa from his house and visit the Russian river brewery without having to call an uber. The house has plenty of parking, clean and spacious rooms, and a wonderful area for games as well as a big, beautiful backyard. Steve was a very gracious host. He greeted us as soon as we got there and was happy to answer any questions we had about the area. He gave us a wonderful breakfast in the morning and was fun and easy to talk to. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for accommodations in Santa Rosa.

    Mariah2018-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What an absolutely lovely experience staying with Steve! He is a superlatively thoughtful and charming host. His home is one-of-a-kind: from the koi pond, to the unique art collection, to the homemade granola, yogurt & fresh berries from the garden he sets out every morning. Guests are sure to find a detail or details that they can connect with. Steve is an engaging, witty, and super fun host if you are up for a hang out, but he will completely respect your privacy if you need alone time too. He even woke up early to make sure I had coffee and breakfast ahead of a very early flight. I really feel like I made a new friend after staying at My Big Art Project. Thank you for everything Steve, I’ll definitely see you next time I’m in Santa Rosa!

Welcome to our beautiful house built in the 1880's, just a few blocks from downtown Santa Rosa. I am a chef and excited about hosting travelers. I have two friendly, playful dogs (Orca and Huck) and a large backyard. You will have your own bathroom and queen bed.
A large open, clean and comfortable space. I have worked hard to make this a cozy and welcoming home and hope to be able to share the space with friendly, considerate people. The house is three bedrooms and two bathrooms, you will have your own private bath that is down from your bedroom (the bath is not en suite) but just down the hall a bit. The house does not have air conditioning but it has a large tree that gives a lot of shade and keeps the house cool even on hot summer days. There are fans in each room. If you are traveling during the colder months there is heat, so not to worry!
Located in the historic Junior College neighborhood, just a few blocks from downtown Santa Rosa. There are many great events that happen throughout the summer and fall just blocks from the house. There is also a small market a block down from the house.
  • We enjoyed every minute at Serena's place. She and Josh are two of the most welcoming and helpful people an out-of-towner could want. Our arrival, stay, and departure were so easy...we felt like friends in an instant. Throughout our stay Serena and Josh went above and beyond the call of duty to make our time great. They pointed out great places to eat and drink, were helpful with directions, and stayed up late once or twice to talk food and wine and travel. Of course, being dog-lovers, the stay was made more magical with the presence of Odie and Orca, the house pets who greeted us with great enthusiasm and did not stop with the love until we closed the door to leave. We miss them! I would highly recommend staying here. It is close to downtown, very light and spacious, the water pressure in the shower will be your new best friend, and the overall location puts you close to Sonoma, Healdsburg, and easy access to the coast, redwoods, etc. This was our first time using an Airbnb, and we will be hard-pressed to find a better one down the road. They set the bar really high. Thank you Serena, Josh, Orca, and dear Odie! Mia and James

  • I can't say enough about this beautiful, cozy home! Sarena (and her two pups!) left no stone unturned in making sure we felt welcomed here. She gave us full access to her kitchen. The bedroom was a very comfy place to relax. And that bathtub! The pictures of her home are most definitely accurate. The location is one of the best parts about it. It only takes a few minutes to walk to some of the area's best restaurants and boutiques. And Sarena was so kind to point out to us some great restaurants to try out. We were not disappointed! Even the day we left, we took a detour down the coast to try out an oyster grill on the water that she highly recommended. Being there by the water was such and incredible experience that we wouldn't have had were it not for Sarena. If you're interested in staying here, I encourage you to go for it! You won't be disappointed. If our travels ever bring us back to Santa Rosa, I wish very much to be able to stay here again.

    Cassidy2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena was a great hostess -- she was extremely generous with her home, letting us do laundry and make breakfast/coffee in her fancy coffee maker. Her home is beautiful and very centrally located -- very easy walk to downtown which was great after a lot of time in the car! Highly recommend.

    Beth2017-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena's charming bungalow style home was a delight-- so easily accessible for walking to downtown Santa Rosa. There was ample closet / storage space and a comfortable bed. While renting just the front bedroom, the common living areas were available throughout my stay, with occasional jockeying one of the dogs for couch space! And it was especially pleasant sitting on the front porch in the late afternoon sun gazing out over the bed of edible flowers!

    Andrea2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena's place was fantastic! The neighborhood was quite and convenient. The bed was very comfortable and private. I can't say enough about how sweet her dogs were and how at home Josh and Sarena made us feel. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Santa Rosa!

    Bradie2016-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed two nights at Sarena's welcoming bungalow; the room was spacious, and the bed comfortable. The location of the house is within walking distance of the popular Russian River Brewery, where we enjoyed excellent craft beer. Easy egress to the highway to get you to north or south Sonoma wineries, which we enjoyed, some of which were recommended by Sarena. Healdsburg is a short drive, which offers quaint and good restaurant options. Sarena communicated with us quickly and helpfully, making all the necessary arrangements for an easy arrival and a very pleasant getaway. The two dogs were friendly, `'talkative`' when you first meet them, but gentle and calm.

    Nikolaos2015-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sarena's place is wonderful. Full of character and charm. Sarena made us VERY welcome and was very helpful in providing guidance on what to see and where to go in the general area. We have no hesitation in recommending Sarena's place to other guests.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Eric and Paul's in Santa Rosa. They were extremely accommodating, welcoming and gave great recommendations in the area. We woke up each morning to hot coffee and delicious croissants which was a really nice touch. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area! Bello, the dog, was so friendly, we loved him! thank you for such a hospitable stay!

    Catherine2016-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Eric, our host, was very generous and attentive. I was a little surprised to learn that this was not an entire house to ourselves. That may have been my fault as I thought I had the entire house box checked and didn't realize it wasn't until we arrived for check in and realized we were sharing someone's home with them. Just something to be aware of in case you'd rather stay at a place on your own.

    Melissa2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Host very responsive and flexible going into our stay. We had to reschedule due to fires. Upon arrival, casa bello felt like home. Super comfortable (beds were amazing) quiet room to room and never heard any noise from outside which is amazing considering the killer location in down town. Great for families or couples. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. Will miss Eric (host) and dog Bello!

  • We arrived to what appears to be a newly remodeled, spotless clean house 2 blocks from the Plaza Mall. Perfect location for us. Little outside space but we were out during the day and got a nice breeze and a little people watching on the large front porch in the evening. We had 4 adults and 1 teenager. Alice was very helpful and we had a great stay. Highly recommend.

    Jonathan2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very close to restaurants, breweries and wineries. Spacious and easy check in. Walking distance to downtown, but just be aware that the surrounding area seems to have a significant homeless problem. This isn’t necessarily something that would prevent me from staying here again or recommending the place, however, it would have been nice to have known about the high rates of homelessness and drugs in the Santa Rosa area before coming (especially if traveling with small children).

  • We loved our stay at this cozy comfortable house. It is in a great location and is convenient to all of the different wine regions in the area (Russian River Valley, Dry Creek, Sonoma, etc.). We found everything we needed in the kitchen to make breakfast, and loved all of the outdoor spaces of the house. It's in walking distance to Fourth Street if you want to eat out at the local restaurants (right around the corner from Russian River Brewery)! AC was also a huge plus. Close to all that Santa Rosa has to offer. Downtown Santa Rosa is 3 blocks walking distance from the house where you will find many restaurants, shops and activities. The home is close to the 101 for easy day trips to wine country as Santa Rosa is in between all the great spots to discover along your tasting journey. You’ll love my place because of the coziness- perfect for 1 or 2 travelers looking to have a quiet and relaxing trip.
Cute, cozy and quiet- the living/bedroom area are serene with lots of windows for fresh air and light. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all the essentials to cook a nice meal. The kitchen table is my favorite place to sit and sip coffee, listen to the birds and read the daily news. If you want to snuggle up, there are plenty of blankets and pillows to cozy up with on the comfy couch- watch some movies, a show or documentary using the Hulu access.
The house is within walking distance from local eateries, great breweries (Russian River Brewery), the movie theatre, outdoor events on 3rd/4th street, bus stop and a convenience store on the corner. You will love the peaceful setting in this lovely neighborhood of Victorian homes.

  • I was in town for the Ironman race and the house was perfectly situated. The welcome binder offered great suggestions for dinner and various hot spots, which I greatly appreciated with such a short window for down time. The house was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities required for an easy weekend getaway. Misha was extremely personable and was gracious in checking in to ensure all was well with my arrival and departure. I would definitely recommend this great cottage and will book again next year.

  • We enjoyed our stay in Santa Rosa. The house is in a great neighborhood within walking distance to lots of great restaurants.

    Kristin2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • If you are over 6’ tall this may not be the place for you. Beds were very small and uncomfortable. Shower very short and had no seal which allowed water all over the floor. Location was a bit sketchy with 1st come 1st serve street parking. No air conditioning made for an uncomfortable stay. Alice was extremely nice and helpful, the accommodations just weren’t what we expected.

We are located in the heart of beverage and culinary country. Our home is designed for you to settle in and relax after a day of exploring the diverse and unique area. Or choosing to close the doors and not leave the house and property all day(s) you are here. Multiple lounge and living spaces provide various options for all of you to design as you wish while you are here. Please enjoy and tread nimbly as you enjoy this great space!
Our home is in one of the richest and most diverse areas of Sonoma County. Unique turn-of-two centuries ago homes and architecture blanket the area. Trees. Landscaping and unique neighborhood nooks. Certainly worthy of a walk or two. Downtown is a 7-10 minute stroll. I've had the great pleasure of feeling safe in my neighborhood for the 20 or so years I've lived here. It is your choice how you want to feel when you are here.
  • This is a beautiful house with great outdoor spaces and a convenient location. We had both the house and the two separate units and it was perfect for our extended family. Highly recommend!
