This beautiful tiny house is a land yacht with lots of hardwood trim and a Queen size bed in the loft. Dave the captain is a master craftsman and sailor which is demonstrated by the care he used to build this home for you to enjoy. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay on five acres with trails for a refreshing walk. Located just 5 short miles from the center of Port Townsend in forest setting. Sorry - No pets allowed.
The tiny home is separate from the main house and has its own bathroom with a full size shower.
We live in a wooded setting at the end of a cul de sac. There are 20 acres of woods behind the house that is home to deer, coyotes, birds, raccoon and other wild life.
  • It was great meeting everyone and sharing fun times and touring the main strip with the wifey and the hubby was great with the sailing information. I was sad I had to leave so soon, but will keep in touch about building a tiny house.

  • A bit exposed feeling with no curtains, and we lost hot water the second day due to a breaker, I think. Other than that, it was worth the price and definitely a cute little place.

  • David's home is tucked away in a neighborhood 4 miles down the road from Port Townsend proper. The room is private and located right next to the bathroom. It has a nice little balcony attached. Sasha is a very friendly dog and was a great playmate for my dog. David and his wife were very accommodating to specific requests that I had, which was very much appreciated. Would stay again if needed!

    Rachel2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • David was there to greet us and help us into the house. He was extremely welcoming and pleasant. I would have loved to schedule an extra day there just to spend talking with him and going out on his sailboat, unfortunately we already had plans. We will definitely be staying there again!!

  • This tiny house was just the right size for what you need in a trip. It was nice to be able to cook our own food, but also be close enough to the lovely city of Port Townsend to also enjoy a meal or two out. The host, David, was kind and he communicated quickly. As it is a tiny house, watch your head as you walk up the stairs! The loft area with the bed is not full height. This property was far enough from town to be very quiet and peaceful but close enough to easily access the amenities of town. It's always a relief to find a place that is dog friendly too! We brought along a lot of our own things, but one thing we wish was available was hand soap for the bathroom and/or the kitchen. There's a gap between the front door frame and the door, so do expect moths, etc. to venture in at night. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in a lovey area.

  • This house is adorable and cozy! The downstairs has a spacious “living room” with a higher ceiling and gas stove/fireplace. The kitchen has everything you could need, and the bathroom doesn’t feel cramped. The house is out in the woods, so it’s quiet and the sky is filled with stars. This is a lovely place to stay when you’re out on the peninsula!

  • My husband and I recently stayed at Quimper Tiny Homes and really enjoyed our time there. Our host, David, was communicative before our arrival and greeted us when we touched down. David and his wife are such a lovely couple and made us feel at home instantly and provided great recommendations for food in Port Townsend. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to people visiting Port Townsend for a short period of time. Also, their dog Sasha is adorable!!

We like to share our house using one booking per month, start times flexible. But let us know whatever your scheduling needs are! We accommodate longer stays. Most of the first floor of a two story 1890's Victorian House. This large suite of rooms is private and has front door access direct to easy street parking.
This neighborhood is very quiet. A nice short walk to the Food Coop, the beach at the Boat Haven or Uptown and Downtown.
  • I stayed in the downstairs apartment in this free standing Victorian house in the upper residential section of Port Townsend. It's a fantastic location. While not fancy or modern, it was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the strong wifi signal. Ron was always responsive to my questions and concerns. It's a very quiet part of town, but there is a clock tower bell that rings on the hour, I believe. It didn't bother me, but if you're a really light sleeper and get startled up by the slightest sound, it could be a consideration. And again, the location is great; a short walk into town and to the natural food coop. It worked for me and I would stay there again. Thanks Ron.

    Joshua2015-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • My stay was just what I was looking for! The neighborhood was very quiet, and I felt very safe staying alone at night. I didn't speak with or meet Ron. He was able to pick up on my need for solitude during my stay from my brief note to him, and respectfully let me be. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to do basic cooking. No microwave, or baking pans, or mixers, so don't plan on making anything elaborate, but certainly fine for simple meals. The claw foot tub next to a sunny window was divine! The bed was quite comfy for one person, and could be for two, if you're good with sleeping close together. Deer kept me company in the back yard for more than one of the days I was there! Lots of space for any stuff you bring to be stowed out of the way. I would stay again.

  • We had a great stay in Port Townsend. Ron Paul got us all the information we needed for a comfortable stay, and his suggestions on where to dine and drink were super. Staying uptown is the place to be. We used Port Townsend as a jumping off point for Olympic National Park and whale watching day trips. For two people, everything was great, but that futon was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've ever sat on. Taking care of the laundry before leaving was no burden at all, and having access to the facilities meant we could pack lighter for a long trip. Overall, a nice place in a cool neighborhood, and a great value!

    Jay2015-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ron was wonderful and kind! When we arrived he was there to show us around and left fairly quickly! There were supposedly other visitors in another part of the house but the place was so big we could never tell! The house is funky and gorgeous also! Great place, great price, great location. A+

    Colin2015-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • At first glance the house was a bit questionable. Lawn overgrown and the house in need of paint and care...but once inside the impression changed. Very quaint, comfortable, clean and cheerful. Goes to show one should not make judgements on first impressions. We had a delightful and comfortable visit in beautiful Port Townsend and the accomodations provided by Ron Paul were perfect. Thank you so much!

    Debbie2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We appreciated the information Ron Paul sent to us, and the quick response via email for any questions, as well as the quiet neighborhood. Accommodations were basic but adequate, although surprised there was no coffee pot or microwave. Port Townsend is charming.

    MAUREEN2015-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This space worked great for our 2 adult, 4 young children family! It was clean, cozy, and just what we needed for a fun and affordable weekend in Port Townsend! This place is a short walk from the farmers market, historic downtown, and the co-op! It was also a realistic bike ride for the whole family to Fort Warden and the beautiful Chief Chetzemoka Park! We would definitely book this lovely uptown apartment again!

    Kelsey2014-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Ron and his wife are very accommodating. The house is in a wonderful location, and it was fun walking into town everyday. I had everything I needed

Dove’s Perch is wrapped in a soothing lavender color and furnished with Great Uncle Everett’s bedroom set. Uncle Everett loved to take photos and a sampling of images he captured, along with his old Brownie camera, are on display. Dove’s Perch has a comfortable queen bed with a memory foam top for a wonderfully restful sleep. The shared full bathroom (with neighboring room) has a shower and bathtub. A well-lit vanity offers drawer space appointed to each room for personal toiletries.
Robin’s Nest is a petite bed and breakfast expressly designed to be casually relaxed and personable. It is infused with sprightly color and eclectically furnished with family heirlooms to blend a touch of nostalgia with contemporary comfort and convenience. The home was built in 2006 and renovated in 2017 to ensure our guests have a completely enjoyable experience. Upstairs, we have three unique guest rooms that are somewhat defined by the keepsakes displayed in them. Downstairs, the common room with it’s open floor plan serves as a breakfast area, a sitting room with fireplace and a kitchen. It is banked by large picture windows overlooking a secluded yard – great for watching the crazy antics of squirrels and birds as they vie for space at the feeders. Lodgers are invited to begin their day here with richly brewed coffee, a selection of tea and juices and a healthy buffet of fresh and dried fruits, nuts, granola, cage free organic hard boiled eggs, English muffins and organic low-fat yogurt. On summer mornings, guests can soak up the sun and sweet fragrance of flowers in the garden and at the end of the day relax with a glass of wine on the deck. In the fall and winter months, they might laze in the quiet seclusion of their room or toast by a cozy bon fire outside. L#011868
Robin's Nest is in a sunny area on top of Castle Hill, near the century old and reportedly haunted Manresa Castle. It's a short walk to see some wonderful views of the Port Townsend's historical skyline, and a five-minute drive to the heart of up-town, down-town, all local events, marinas, trails and everything else the area has to offer.
  • Robin is a very warm and thoughtful host, and has anticipated just about every need a traveler may have. It has been a while since we’ve stayed at a proper Bed and Breakfast, so we were quite delighted with the lovely breakfast provided by Robin each morning. Simple, yet wonderful in quality and variety (think granola, yogurt, bakery-fresh bread and bagels, fresh and dried fruits , and very good coffee)! We also very much enjoyed breakfast conversations with Robin and our fellow guests. It was a very warm and communal experience. The Dove’s Perch was pleasantly cozy for the two of us, with a very comfortable bed and walls painted in a soothing lavender that made us feel like we were resting in an actual lavender field. The bathroom (shared with one other room) was spacious, clean and the shower had a great head with a dial-your-own style spray so everyone is happy! We will definitely book with Robin again on a future trip to PT, and highly recommend her place to fellow travelers!

  • Robin's Nest was a true delight to stay in. There were many cute touches that made the place feel like home. Robin herself was incredibly welcoming and kind. We hope to return some day! Book this place now!

  • A lovely new B&B. Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, a beautiful garden with hummingbirds, sweet touches like filtered water by the door to fill up our water bottles, terry cloth robes, and a drawer for our toiletries as we had a shared bathroom with one other room. Breakfast was great with strong coffee and lots of fresh fruit for our oats and tasty bread for toasting. Robin was friendly and helpful and it was nice to share stories with her and she watered my new plants every day. Her B&B is about a mile or so from the water so I recommend a car or bike. Definitely recommend staying here.

  • What a wonderful place to stay! Robin has done an outstanding job with the Nest and it was really a treat to stay there. I would absolutely recommend staying with Robin. Beyond the wonderful room, healthy breakfasts, personal touches, location, and beautiful gardens, Robin is simply delightful host that really goes the extra mile!

    Levi2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were delighted to stay in this quiet, beautiful home. There were many personal touches and thoughtful amenities. Breakfast suited us to a “T”, with lots of choices for building a morning meal! Coffee, by the way, is ready and waiting when you decide to leave your cozy room! Hot and brewed from great beans!

    Kate2019-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Robin's is so tranquil, and unbelievably clean! The whole house smells so fresh. I never wanted to leave, especially the comfy bed and luxury linens. There were hummingbirds feeding everywhere and the gardens in the front and back are insanely gorgeous. Wonderful light fresh breakfast. Wish I could live with Robin!

    Shandi2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Located a bit outside the tourist area but central to everything PT has to offer. Beautifully put together and expertly organized. The do's and don't were discrete, appropriate and perfectly clear. Breakfast was simple, healthy and exactly what I would have asked for, but didn't have to ask! The gardens and many fountains took care of the rest. Five stars all around!

  • A well designed home with many unique features located in a beautiful town with friendly people. We enjoyed the many thoughtful touches that Robin provided.

Relax by the fire pit in the evening, enjoying beautiful sunsets as eagles and shore birds soar above. Experience Tiny House living in a private setting overlooking the Hadlock Marina and the Olympic Mountains. Hiking, biking, kayaking and beach combing all within minutes away, or tour Port Townsend and visit some of its art galleries, shops, fine dining and local wineries.
The tiny house is set in it's own private area, just off of a quiet, paved, dead end road. The house is surrounded by patio area, where you can sit and relax overlooking the bay. The tiny house has a regular queen size bed in the loft area. A small kitchen contains a mini-fridge, microwave, kuric coffee maker and toaster. (cookware and eating utensils suppled). There's a small bathroom with a shower area. Living area has a table and chairs and a small loveseat with pull out sleeper.
Our neighborhood is quiet, very little traffic (3 to 4 cars a day). The beaches are private and we hope our guests will respect this. There is public beach 1/4 mile away. Also many beach areas to explore.
  • This was the perfect get away for our anniversary. The host provided perfect suggestions for places to put our kayaks in the water and dining for the area. The cabin was immaculately clean. The fire pit was loaded with wood and sMores fixings were waiting, as well as snacks and coffee, fresh flowers. All made for an amazing impression. We spent both evenings enjoying the view. This was a lovely experience and I look forward to our next visit!!!

  • This is such a cute little place!! It is just the right size for a couple wanting a home away from home. The hosts are wonderful. All you need to bring is clothes and food for the bbq. Plenty of just right sized wood for a fire in the firepit!

    Katherine2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely spot! A tiny home with a super comfortable bed (maybe memory foam?) and thoughtful amenities (keurig coffee, some breakfast items, wine opener). A "tiny house" with the comfort of normal home. The only part the tininess didn't function well for us was seating (we're both tall), but that pushed us to enjoy the front porch and fire pit even more. The fire pit is a wonderful feature -- it's private, and hosts left plenty of fire starters and wood, and even s'mores. We hope to be back again for more time contemplating the view and exploring the surrounding areas.

    Kate2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is such an adorable tiny home with spectacular views and such accommodating hosts. It was clean and well furnished with extra touches that made you feel welcome the minute you drove up. We would definitely recommend this special home!

    M2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing view! Drank my coffee on the front porch swing both mornings and watched the sunset, enjoying a campfire both evenings. Even though it’s a small cabin, the space very accommodating. Note: stairs to the bed we’re steep but well lit, with handrails. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

    Kerry2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • For a tiny house, there was quite a bite of room! The view is stunning. The area quiet and peaceful. And there were thoughtful touches left out for us, such as fresh flowers, fruit, chocolates, and tea. As well as plenty of wood for an evening fire. Just a short drive to Port Townsend where we met up with friends. I would definitely stay here again.

    Christine2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • The house was spectacular. Everything from the parking space, view, and amenities was picture perfect. Check in was easy and check out was even easier. I would recommend anyone who plans to visit the area to look into staying at this charming location. Best part was soaking in the sunset on the patio/deck area that overlooks the water.

  • Dana and Dick were amazing. Their hospitality, generosity, and kindness made me feel like I was with my family. The place was amazing, clean, convenient, and the view was incredible. Thank you so much!

My place is in a sunny part of town and I am continually enhancing my natural gardens to attract birds and other wildlife. As a naturalist my space is nature-centric and eco-friendly. Most of my materials and cleaning supplies are organic or natural, and I strive to keep it a fragrance-free space. There is wifi, but the space is TV-free. Please remove your shoes indoors to it remain clean.
My house is in a quiet neighborhood, high on a hill that slopes down to Fort Worden State Park, with trails, beaches, bunkers and views of Puget Sound and the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Fort Worden hosts festivals, events, and concerts year-round, as well as yoga, the Marine Science Center, the PT School of Arts, restaurants, and more.

    Lisa2019-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location and cozy place to stay. Vicki is kind, super helpful and can answer any question you may have. She gave us ideas on what to do and where to eat in Port Townsend. Vicki accommodated my sweet dog, Diego. We also enjoyed the table right outside our room where my daughter and I could play cards, watch out for deer and take in the beautiful environment.

  • Such a cute place! Very cozy and walking distance from Fort Worden Park and trails. Close to town as well. Vicki is a wonderful and thoughtful host.

  • Vicki's place was wonderful! The room was beautiful and surrounded by lovely gardens. Comfortable bed and very large bathroom/closet. Everything I needed was provided. Communication was great too. Quick drive into town and an easy walk to Fort Worden. Would definitely stay again!

    Heidi2019-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Vicki’s space was a wonderful base camp to venture out from to explore the Olympic area and the quaint town of Port Townsend. She was so helpful with suggestions and a very good communicator when we had questions. The bedroom space had all the essentials like toaster oven, microwave, mini-fridge and wet bar/sink. The bathroom was very modern, spacious and had a great remodeled shower/tub. As an Added bonus, there are very nice views of the mountains and a great outdoor garden area. I was even greeted by an Anna’s Hummingbird in the nicely landscaped yard. I highly recommend a stay at Vicki’s if you’re looking to stay in Port Townsend or explore the region. I hope to be back again soon!

rus·tic (adj.) ~ of or relating to the countryside; rural. mag·ic (noun) ~ a quality that makes something seem removed from everyday life, especially in a way that gives delight
Beautiful and rustic small farm living, on 4.5 acres overlooking Kilisut Harbor. The cabin has a small front porch, and a small "frog pond.” Downstairs Interior is a cozy living space with table for two. A "couch" which also serves as a twin size bed is there as well. Loft bedroom (with queen size bed) and kitchenette. The kitchenette contains a large sink, hutch with dishes and towels, etc., a toaster oven, electric cook pan, electric kettle, and a mini fridge. Outdoor fire pit and small grill for outdoor cooking… Bathroom area consists of a shower and toilet (6 gallon hot water tank). Heat is wood stove, plus oil and electric heaters. Owners live on property, as well as one other apartment rental/tenant.
Marrowstone Island, just southeast from the Victorian Seaport of Port Townsend is a rural island with spectacular shoreline vistas, evergreen trees, and an inspiring, pastoral beauty. The main town of Nordland lies in the center of the island and has a small general store. Get lost on fern drenched trails at Fort Flagler State Park, on the North end of the island -- also known for its historical bunkers and beaches. There is a bridge connecting the island to the mainland, and Port Townsend is 13 miles away, with access to great restaurants, shops, music and the ferry to the San Juans.
  • What a magical place! I was charmed the moment I saw it, and even more so when I stepped through the door. The flowers on the table brought a smile to my face, and the whimsy but stylish decorations made me feel at home at once. Relaxing in the chairs on the front porch on a summer's evening, while watching the sun slowly set, was absolute bliss. Two friendly hummingbirds kept me company. I was a world away, and yet could easily drive to Port Townsend and other sights. Highly recommended!

    Jennifer2016-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is charming and I got to experience tiny house living first hand. The view of Mystery Bay is nice. I enjoyed apples just off the tree. Stop at the QFC in Port Hadlock for groceries before you go out there, because the pickings are slim at the General Store in Nordland. Dane and Kathryn are super nice - they even mailed me my pillow that I left behind.

    Patrick2016-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and great host

    Mark2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was a neat place, the singing frog cabin was the perfect name to boot. There was everything you needed there, including cook ware, a great stereo system to blast some tunes, and a wonderful location to see other places in the area. Don't expect to take more than a 3 minute hot shower, and mind the steepness of the stairs. Definitely a great getaway, and friendly hosts and pup!

    Frankie And Eric2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Singing Frog Cabin. It is a tiny and rustic but comfortable place, decorated tastefully but with joyful personality, and the farm is just beautiful. We barely saw Dane and Kathryn, but they seemed really nice, responded swiftly to texts, and I have no doubt that they would have been on it right away if anything were amiss. What a great experience!

    Gwynne2016-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was a dream come true. I was looking for a quiet getaway where I could relax for the weekend. This is a nice little cabin with a woodburning stove (or electric heat if you want it), a nice little kitchenette and a full shower / flush toilet. Beautiful views, and the occasional farm animal that'll stroll by. A bonus was that there was a small stereo system, which I could plug my phone into to listen to podcasts. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway - this is it.

    Frank2015-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Singing Frog Cabin was delightful! Dane and Kathryn were so hospitable, leaving flowers and farm eggs. They were also available if I needed anything. I loved watching the birds and the goats and listening to the frogs sing (they actually do). It was a fabulous place to retreat for a few days.

    Ava2016-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • A little sample of heaven! What an adorable and cozy place to stay! Thanks to Dane & Kathryn for making our little weekend getaway so special --- so many details like farm fresh eggs and fresh cut flowers waiting for us upon our arrival. The sunshine through the cabin windows was so relaxing and the fire pit overlooking the pond at sunset was amazing. We enjoyed an easy day trip out to Fort Flagler State Park and Port Townsend. With Singing Frog Cabin to come back to, our vacation was perfect!

This is a separate listing for a single room with a full sized bed. Ideal for commuter. I will not be showing you around much since it is a work day, but I can provide a written guide. Please note the commuter room listing is for one occupancy and there is a $8 fee for each additional guest(s) .
Your bedroom is down the hallway (last door to right). Bathroom is right outside your bedroom door.
Even I can't get enough of my living room view of the cove and Crockett Lake. Admirals cove is quiet waterfront suburb that's filled with mostly vacation homes and happily retired folks. Close to Port Townsend ferry (5 min) and downtown Coupeville is (12 min). Most people are happy with what they have here and are very simple folks. Quaint and charming best describes the place.

What IS it, about a periwinkle house? Your private room is in this light and open, peaceful home on a quiet street in Port Townsend, approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. It is tucked in by the blackberries, wild roses and fir trees, next to one of PT's walking trails.
I love meeting travelers! Even if you're just popping up to Port Townsend from Seattle, everyone always has a story, and a lens on life that broadens my own. Welcome to my home. The house is located in what I call "the suburbs" of Port Townsend: not Uptown, not Downtown, but atop one of the first hills as you're heading away from each. It's about a 5 minute drive - or a 30-40 minute walk to downtown. Your room is peaceful and calm -- the kind that makes you exhale when you walk in. The knotty pine doors, simple rocking chair, a wee bit of art, and a fluffy blue duvet invite you to slow down, snuggle in to your queen-sized bed, and relax (don't be thrown off -- sometimes I'll have a sunshine-yellow and white duvet cover on the bed... still inviting, still comfortable). The room-darkening shade makes it easy to sleep-in.... We'll even stop Time for you -- pausing the pendulum on the old kitchen clock, leaving it silent, while you sleep. In order to create a space where you can get away from the trappings of modern life, there is no TV, but feel free to access the wi-fi to watch movies on your laptop using headphones. (I tend to turn off the wi-fi late at night, for better dreaming... but it'll be back on, in the morning!) I enjoy getting to know my guests, so please feel welcome to enjoy the main living areas of house. In the summer months, the front porch is a wonderful place to hang out. As you'll see, the garden is a work in progress... deer, bunnies, butterflies and birds are always around - it gets a bit Disney-esque around here, and if you don't move too quickly, the deer will glide in and rest on the garden knee-wall, while you're drinking your tea. I think you'll enjoy being here!
The neighborhood is quiet, with easy access to wooded trails. We actually have little kids who play and ride their bicycles in the street (like back in the old days), about a block up the road. In the other direction, at the end of the block, there's a stellar view of Mt. Baker, and out into the straits. Plenty of blackberries to pick in August... and that kind of ease that prompts us to say with a combination of wonder and gratitude, "Wow. We live here."
  • What a little gem in Port Townsend! Super cute, clean and quiet. Close to town and to Fort Lewis. The bed is super comfy, too!!

  • Emi and I talked about our visit to Port Townsend and to Carol's home off and on for several hours after we left. To be able to stay in a peaceful oasis at the beginning of my vacation was the perfect place to leave my work stress behind. Carol's calm personality added to the warmth of her artistic-gallery home. Anyone looking for a peaceful bnb, will find it st the Sancuary. Thank you Carol for your northwest hospitality.

  • I had a wonderful, rejuvenating visit to Carol's home! She is a warm, kind spirit and very thoughtful about giving as much space as I wanted or enjoying nice conversations together as well. I was especially inspired by her home's artful style and the location was excellent.

  • Nirvana ! From the first step into the house I knew I had chosen the perfect place. I was here for a personal art retreat and it was more than I hoped for. The space is warm, creative and vibrant. Carol is a treasure. The thoughtful extras, the tub, the cozy bedroom ... it was all wonderful. I enjoyed the quiet presence as well as the thoughtful conversation. I felt like I had been staying with a good friend. Carol will share some local favorites if you ask and steered me toward a few wonderful places in town. The walks were glorious. So close to everything and yet a world away. Thanks for a delightful few days.

    Bonnie2017-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice, eclectic, convenient place to stay. Short walk to downtown. Carol is very responsive and will make sure your stay is a good one. Will come back for sure when I am in the area again.

Tranquil room in Strawbale house located on the outskirts of picturesque Port Townsend approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. We live on 3/4 acre with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer (on a clear day) and Port Townsend Bay. Although we are in the city limits, we feel as though we are out in the country! We are still a work in progress, so you may see some of our unfinished projects. IF THIS LISTING IS BOOKED WE HAVE ANOTHER LISTING: SUMPTUOUS ROOM IN STRAWBALE HOUSE.
Our hand-built strawbale house is located in lovely Port Townsend and is a 5 minute drive or 30-40 minute walk to downtown. Our little corner room is filled with light and views of Mt. Baker and Port Townsend bay as well as the green field below the house. The two-foot thick walls are hand plastered, lending an organic feel to the room as well as creating a warm and quiet space. Enjoy the 100% wool carpet, cotton sheets and natural linen duvet. In order to create a space where you can get away from the trappings of modern life, there is no TV in the room, but feel free to access our wi-fi to watch movies on your laptop using headphones. Our sweet kitty Tibby will most likely come and visit you as well! We are very social people and love to get to know our guests so please feel welcome to enjoy the rest of the house! The bathroom is just a few steps away across the hall from your room and has a separate shared toilet space. As you will see, our house and property is still a work in progress! There are still unfinished aspects to the house and we have yet to accomplish much outside landscaping due, in part, to a lack of deer fencing. Therefore, anything we plant will get eaten at this point! With this being said, our home is very comfortable and functional and we think you will love being here.
Although we are within the city limits, you will feel as if you are out in the country. Our little lane will take you past a charming neighborhood of houses but our 3/4 acre feels private and serene.

  • This is really a sweet spot. Very original and Sheryl and Tim were very inviting and happy to have us. Generous and welcoming. We stayed in the smaller room; I didn't even realize there were two possibilities. In either room, you will be very happy.

    Cynthia2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house is charming, with obvious touched throughout that show the home was well planned and executed. Sheryl is friendly, outgoing and hospitable. Considering coming back with the family and renting out both rooms.

  • Wonderful, relaxing stay at Kathryn and Dane's beautiful farmstead. Very clean and lovely touches that made me feel right at home. Awesome view, even if the Olympics we're hiding in the clouds! Will definitely be back!

  • The Roost is a sweet little apartment. It is quiet and peaceful for sure. We really enjoyed our stay!

    Laura2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at The Roost! Kathryn and Dane were very friendly and welcoming, as were their goats and dog. The Roost was cozy and homey, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay (including basic cooking equipment if you're so inclined!). Their farm is beautiful, and we were lucky to come at a time when all their flowers were in bloom. If you ever find yourself in this part of the Olympic Peninsula, we highly recommend staying here or at Kathryn & Dane's other cabin!

    Mira2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We were mesmerized by The Roost's view with light sparkling on the water, pale blue mountains in the distance, and roses spilling over the fence. We were delighted by the seaweed and seashells on Fort Flagler's beach, the deer who came so close we could almost touch it, the beautiful linens, the cozy couch/day bed and Kathryn's artful flower arrangements. Kind, friendly and accommodating hosts and a lovely place to stay!

  • Katie and Dane apartment is very special. It is situated on their small farm with goats, chickens and a large garden space. There is a fantastic view of the Olympic Mountains and the water. The apartment itself is large and open and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The special touches that were provided added to the whole experience. This was our second visit and we plan to come back again.

Tiny house made of reclaimed cedar located between Mystery Bay and Fort Flagler state parks. Just down the road from east beach county park (dog paradise) and the charming Nordland general store. This unique home has 2 sleeping lofts/full kitchen/tile shower all packed into 240 sq feet!! for people capable of climbing to a loft to sleep and comfortable using a composting toilet/outhouse. Super close to the water and mountain views. Local winery, creamery and lots of cider close by as well!
Tiny home made of reclaimed lumber locally sourced from a mountaineering legend. Super classy and comfy! I've a soaking tub and a fire pit as well. Great space for couples, solo adventurers and small families. I've got plenty of games and puzzles for a rainy day.
Quiet and calm. Seasonal frogs, lots of morning doves.
  • We drove out from Seattle and had a great time staying in this gorgeous tiny house in the woods with our small dog. The tiny house is small, but thoughtfully laid out, well stocked, and incredibly built. We made some pancakes in the morning, explored the rainy peninsula, and ate dinner in Port Townsend. We slept cozily in the loft bed, and enjoyed getting to wake up in the misty forest. It was almost like camping, but much, much, much more comfortable. We'd love to stay again sometime!

    Josh2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Just what you’d expect. Perfect little tiny home experience with a wood fired hot tub to boot. For those less familiar w/ tiny homes, the toilet is a composting one. We mainly peed outside. Very private area. Quiet and tranquil. Lovely walk to the bluffs around sunset. Place was really clean with great detailed interior.

    Ariel2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house was great! Definitely some thoughtful touches. Comfy & cozy.

    Justine2017-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, we loved this house! Andrew's craftsmanship shows in every little detail of the house. It's absolutely beautiful and feels so spacious! You find new details to love everywhere you look! We cooked meals in the kitchen and had a bonfire (thanks again for the wood, Andrew!). Our dog ran around in the grass and hung out outside because the property felt super safe. We stayed in late May and there were so many frogs at night! It was the best sleep I've gotten in months. Super convenient access to Fort Flagler but far enough away that you feel like you have privacy. Even over Memorial Day weekend we hardly saw anyone. We didn't want to leave and DEFINITELY plan to come back. Can't recommend this home enough!

    Jamie2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and great location for exploring Fort Flagler and other parks nearby. It's very peaceful and relaxing place to unwind. The place has some nice touches like a turntable and an eclectic record collection. It's also not too far from Port Townsend.

  • Comfy, sparkling clean and well decorated space. Well lit, great bed. Special touches: fresh flowers, yummy croissants, fresh tomatoes and plums. Hospitality above and beyond! A+

  • Beautiful spot. Quiet and very clean. Sleep well and thoroughly enjoyed the nature. So close to the beach and the town.

    Talia2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Claude and Barbara were the friendliest Airbnb hosts I've come across. It was nice to actually meet them and they had tons of recommendations for food and things to do in the area. The little apartment was very clean. A little old fashioned but it definitely fit the quaint little town of Port Townsend. The garden is just an extra bonus I'd scenery with gorgeous flowers! The towels were so soft. The sheets and bedding were great. Bed was comfortable. Multiple outlets and mirrors. We didn't really use the kitchen but it would be perfect for breakfast foods or snacks. No TV; which isn't a complaint we just noticed there wasn't one. I don't really have any real complaints but there were 2 things to note. 1. We could hear them walking around above us at certain times but it was not loud or obnoxious at all; I wasn't ever woken up by it or anything. 2. The curtains in the bedroom were pretty sheer so you definitely saw the sun as soon as it came up. Overall it was fantastic!! We were a 5 minute drive from anything in Port Townsend. We didn't do any walking so I can't speak to that. I would definitely recommend a stay here! If we ever make it back that way we would definitely stay again!

    Haley2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful! Very welcoming and generous folks. Spacious 1-bedroom . Great location-walk to town, beach, park. Would definitely go back there.

    Sharon2016-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • cute neighborhood. Croissants, jam and butter were amazing yummy treats after a run in the morning. Deer in the neighboring yard, not much traffic. beautiful and plentiful garden. Thank you for the lettuce and peas.

    Cherilyn2016-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We've stayed in several Airbnbs and each with delight but Claude and Barbara's place was our favorite! The pictures, on the site, our lovely but in person even better. There wasn't one thing that we would change. And, if you haven't been to Port Townsend, you Are in for a real treat. The Plum Cottage is a pleasant walking distance to downtown and the beach.

    Julie "Belle"2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • You can tell this place is a labor of love for Claude and Barbara. Lots of nice little welcoming touches like providing coffee and tea, chocolates on the pillows, and proactive communication welcoming you to their home. Great location, just a short walk to Water St. The place is spacious and clean. The cottage is below the house, next to their beautiful garden. Starting around 6am, I could hear footsteps on the creaking wood floor above through the ceiling. Take note if you are a light sleeper. Overall, it was a great stay and I hope to come back!

  • Sherry was a fabulous host and I really enjoyed my stay at her place. Bigger than a studio, it had a separate bedroom and a large living/eating area. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. The kitchen was small but worked fine for me. A peaceful, quiet location within 10 minutes of the beach, town, Fort Warden....everything was nearby. I had all the privacy I wanted, yet Sherry was available any time and made sure I had what I needed (she even provided slippers!). Sherry had lots of great tips, was easy to communicate with, and it was a true pleasure getting to know her. I look forward to returning there!

    Donna2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • The place was much larger than expected and had a large, separate bedroom with lots of closet and storage space. My only challenge was working with the limited kitchenette but I managed ok for the 3+ months I stayed Sherry, the host, lives across the courtyard and is very generous with ideas and suggestions to enhance your visit. She also has a great flower garden and shared her lovely flowers A real bonus was having a full washer and dryer in the unit, and Parking so convenient. Location is south of the downtown and uptown areas but an easy drive and close to public transportation and grocery shopping and other services. There is so much to do every day in Port Townsend and Sherry’s place makes it easy to get to everything

    Judy2018-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry's studio offers complete privacy and convenience. One can quickly drive to downtown, to Fort Worden, and to points south and west. Sherry was very generous in explaining local features and in providing information and even food surprises occasionally.

    John2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • I just had a wonderful 4 week experience lodging in Sherry's studio. She is a superb host. Sherry was very kind and helpful, going out of her way to make sure my stay was a very pleasurable experience. Sherry's studio is very quiet, as well as central to all that Port Townsend offers. Deer, and beautiful birds abound, in her yard and on the street. What more could a person want?

    Jacqui2015-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • I was very happy with my stay in Port Townsend. I was quite surprised to find the cottage exactly as pictured. Sherry was the most helpful landlady and hostess. She had a lot of helpful places to see and things to do. I stayed a month, not as a tourist but I was there to help my sister settle into their new home. I would definitely stay there again.

    carole2015-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry is an excellent host and Sherring Lodge Studio has all the basics covered for a comfortable extended stay in an interesting and peaceful natural environment. My expectations were well satisfied and I would certainly return again for another month.

    Donald2016-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sherry was a wonderful host - she made me feel very welcome; provided suggestions about what to see; and was available if I needed anything. I was in Port Townsend for a cycling weekend, and the suite was perfect -- the laundry and kitchenette facilities were much appreciated, as was the 'indoor space' for my bicycle. The location was also good - in a quiet neighborhood, but within easy cycling distance of 'downtown'. I would definitely stay again.

Lighting is provided via battery powered string lights above and two bedside table camp lamps, bring head lights and or flashlights to supplement. If there are three in your party the generous size couch can be made up for the 3rd wheel and a curtain can be drawn between the two sleeping spaces providing a measure of privacy. Roast s'mores on your private brick patio in the fire ring -burn ban permitting- for accurate info please go to (Website hidden by Airbnb) or call the county (Jefferson) for up to date fire code. For inaccurate info feel free to ask the neighbors. Firewood is provided free of charge. Just steps from the tent locate a classic style pic-nic table for eating, food prep and games as well as fire pit and a basic outdoor kitchen set up with single burner camp stove requiring butane fuel. Meditate, do yoga, read a book, write a book!, knit, or sit back and enjoy a beer if that is what you wish.
A stop into the Nordland General store, is a must, if you have the time a stroll down the dock completes the visit. If your a shower a day person, Fort Flaggler ( 5 min. drive up the island) has full service public restrooms complete with showers (bring some quarters) flushing toilets, and not a bad view of the straits and Port Townsend. If Laundry is something you find yourself needing, Port Hadlock has a fine one, situated next door to the QFC market. Throw in a load and head across the street to the "Valley Tav" for the best veggie burgers around! no joke. Nine Mile Farm Camp sits peacefully at the end of an intentionally underdeveloped short plat. The property is made up of over 5 acres and is heavily treed with Grand Firs, large Western Red Cedar, Big Leaf Maple, Alder, Doug Fir, and many other native shrubs including edible berries such as huckleberry, salal berry, salmon berry. Micologists (mushroom hunters) are sure to find the treasure they seek growing fruitfully in these forests. Neighbors live symbiotically with the land, many are without electricity or city water as guests will experience as well. Please be conscious of the surrounding area and its inhabitants, animals and humans alike respecting normal quiet hours within reason.
  • What a sweet place to stay! Lots of little details and love put into the place... Like she says be prepared for a rustic out there camping experience... we brought jugs of extra drinking water, several flashlights, large lantern for good light in the cabin. The morning French press coffee on the porch swing was my favorite. Sweet offering of fruit breakfast muffins and basic pantry needs. The bed and sleeping tent is very comfortable... wish it was a little closer to kitchen cabin and floors a little sturdier in tent and dining room. Would recommend to friends and family and look forward to this kind of 'camping' again.

  • Lovely place

    Jenna2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Island glamping at its charming finest! Pretty touches like retro chandeliers and needlepoint cushions jeuje up this cute tent, and the “bathroom” under the big cedar must be seen to be believed. The deep quiet of the forest is wonderfully restful. Recommended!

    Rose2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Area was nice. The tent has holes on the corner posts therefore mosquitos come in when you have the lights on at night. But other than that- place was very nice. Bed is firm but comfy. And beware- if you have a car really low to the ground- you may have a little trouble getting back there.

    Alexis2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Private and cool, would mos def return! Sarah was super responsive throughout. Star gazing was amazing!

    Karen2018-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • We love our stay here! Lots of room for the pups to run around and very private. We loved making coffee and sitting out on the porch it was quiet and serene. Make sure to bring lots of lights with you once it gets dark it could be a challenge to cook without a head lamp or lantern. We would defiantly stay again!

  • Cozy, rustic and remote!

    Diana2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • I dont think we could have had a better time. This place is amazing. You can already see the detail and love that has been put into adding convenient touches. I have still been dreaming about it and wish we had stayed longer. Thank you Sarah for making such a fun, cute place filled with all the right things for us to enjoy a night in the woods.

Perfect location in uptown Port Townsend neighborhood full of historic homes.
  • My mom & I enjoyed four wonderful nights in this cozy, bright & comfortable apartment. The views of the ocean & of the historic Ann Starrett Mansion are truly one-of-a-kind. Though there are other apartments in this home, everything was so quiet we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Though we never met Kelly, she was very quick to respond to our questions regarding the space as well as helped assist with directions & suggestions for sights to see in & around the area. Port Townsend is a special place that feels like home & I highly recommend this adorable space to anyone who wants to feel like a local & have easy access to both downtown & uptown. I'm already lookingforward to my next visit to PT & fingers crossed I can stay here again.

  • Really great apartment—great decor with everything you could need—in a historic house with wonderful views, in the perfect location. Nice to be up on the bluff and walk easily to the uptown or downtown shops (2-5 min for either). The host is incredibly nice and an excellent communicator. No snags during our entire stay.

    Sandhya2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • It's a bright, airy studio in the perfect neighborhood!

    Emily2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly provided an apartment that met our needs with the bonus of little touches. One of our favorite features was the breakfast nook with it's north facing windows looking out to the waters. Provided for the stay were bath salts to soak in the tub, plenty of high-end bath towels, basic starts of coffee and half-half, lovely candles available that we lit each evening, the ease keyless entry, plenty of pillows (the husband pillows were our favorite when watching a movie), plenty of outlets or plugs, and endless of hot water. :-) The location is perfectly centralized in the uptown area of Port Townsend. The apartment is a five-minute walk to the farmers market, french bakery, market, and less than a ten-minute walk to the original downtown. We enjoyed the three nights we stayed and will look to stay here again when we return to Port Townsend. Thank you Kelly for all your thoughtful touches and creating an inviting place to stay.

  • This apartment is a great space in Port Townsend. The location is amazing, within walking distance of everything uptown and downtown. The views from the apartment are great too, we could see the ocean and deer grazing in the front yard. Inside, the space is nicely appointed with a full bath, kitchen, and super comfy bed. Overall, we had a great stay and I would love to stay here again!

    Stephanie2018-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely LOVED my stay here! The studio was bigger than I expected, sparkling clean, the bed was extra comfy (especially for a mama who needed some sleep while traveling away from two little kids for the weekend!), and the location was perfect. It was a super quick and easy walk to Aldrich Market in the morning for the best ham, egg and cheese paninis, and then a few steps over to 1012 coffee for an amazing vanilla latte. The walk to downtown Port Townsend took just minutes! Even though the other 2 rooms were booked while I was there, I heard absolutely NOTHING in my studio. So nice, quiet and quaint. Totally recommend this place.

The Sea Loft is a "carriage house" with an outstanding view of Admiralty Inlet to Puget Sound, located in a special neighborhood near the beach, Chetzemoka Park, and Point Hudson Marina. It is a short walk to the beach and to uptown and downtown shops and restaurants.
The Sea Loft features a very comfortable king-size bed, full kitchen, tub/shower bath, 39-inch cable TV, wifi, and washer and dryer.
The Sea Loft is one house from the beach, one house from Chetzemoka Park, one block to Point Hudson Marina down a private path.
  • The Sea Loft is a cozy, quiet, spacious unit in a residential area of Port Townsend. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bulk of the bars and restaurants in town, but it’s a delightful stroll with lots of lovely water views.

Watch great blue herons glide in for a landing while sipping your morning coffee in this large, airy, well-lit apartment. Your vacation get-away spot occupies the entire second floor of a cheery bright red barn on a small working farm.
Entirely private, the apartment’s many windows feature spectacular views of the property’s 11 acres of native wetlands, woodlands, gardens, and critters (chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, 2 friendly dogs, and abundant wildlife). Vaulted cathedral ceilings make the 650 square feet seem even larger! The entire apartment has been recently refurbished with new appliances and fixtures. Electric baseboard heat, a cozy propane stove with flickering flames, windows that open, and an elegant ceiling fan keep the apartment comfortable and romantic year-round. The ample closets, drawers, and shelves will make you want to move in and stay forever.
Port Townsend, with its many cultural attractions, is a 12 minute drive from the apartment. We are centrally located to thriving local farms, wineries, and cideries. Maritime attractions include nearby marinas, whale watching, the Marine Science Center, and the Wooden Boat School. Many outstanding state and local parks are nearby with beautiful beaches, forests, and playgrounds. Easy walking distance to the county library.
  • We had a fantastic time at Cheri’s place. She has thought of everything. From the cheese, wine, teas and coffees to the fun board games and cozy blankets, it was the perfect place for our winter stay. Next time we hope to explore the grounds which seem lovely. Thank you Cheri!

  • A roomy, open-concept single bed room with full kitchen and homey feel. Things were quite tidy, and there was ample, delicious snacks offered. In a great location for visiting both the national park and the towns along the coast.

  • Lovely setting and nice snacks- and wine

    Nancy2016-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for a little respite while I was visiting my daughter and grandchildren. It was warm and cozy and Cheri had filled jars with goodies that the grandchildren enjoyed. Also, the fact that they have several different animals made it fun for the kids to visit. Cheri and Rocky were available and visited with us several times....very personable:)! I would choose to stay there again!

    Karen2016-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • I had a very nice stay at Cheri's place. It was so quiet and peaceful. Location is great, too. So close to the things I was in town for and only a short drive to Port Townsend. I couldn't have asked for a better spot. Thank you, Cheri!

    Julie & John2018-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Cheri's place was absolutely amazing! The place was clean, well lit, comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Cheri provided many extras - goats, chickens, beautiful garden, eggs, cheese, coffee, and many other snacks. It was the perfect location. Thank you Cheri for everything. If there is no room at the family homes on Marrowstone Island, we will definitely return to Cheri's place. We highly recommend staying at Cheri's place. Mark and Kathleen, Modesto, CA

  • This place was perfect for our family of three and the thoughtful touches were appreciated.

    Liz2018-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is what an airbnb should be like - all the little things that make a house a home, like finding a doz fresh eggs in the fridge AND cream for morning! When you get in late at night, that is really appreciated. We woke to rain on the roof on Monday and it was so nice to snuggle into the covers and listen. There's a rooster and animals and the most beautiful garden view. Close to an awesome corner store where you'll find everything you need, and Finn River Cider farm (not to be missed!) and on the way to Port Townsend which was stunning! I would love to go back. Thank you so much Cheri for going beyond, I found my package and the welcome card on the table such a fun thing to arrive to!

  • Johnny is a very helpful, knowledgeable host, and keeps a little guidebook out so you can find restaurants, etc. Even though we've been to P.T. many times over the years, we tried some new restaurants because of Johnny's book, and loved the star ratings. I like getting advice on restaurants from a local. The hot tub felt great after a day full of walking, and the little cottage was well maintained with everything we needed. We'd love to go back!

  • I can't say enough about our stay at the Hilltop Hideaway!!! We came to Port Townsend to elope and Linda and Robert were so amazing! They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and went out of their way to make the weekend extra special. Their home was super cozy and romantic. We really enjoyed waking up every morning, having a cup of coffee, and watching the sun rise over the beautiful meadow. Linda recommended some great hikes and delicious places to eat in town. The Hilltop Hideaway was the perfect blend of seclusion and proximity to town. We will definitely be back again!

  • Loved the space, we were very well accommodated! Linda is so sweet and wish we could have spent more time with her and at her place. It was only a one night stay as we were only passing by, got lucky with this space and this host! Very clean and highly recommended!

  • The Sunny Hilltop Hideaway was a perfect Airbnb experience. Linda is a lovely, kind, unobtrusive, and helpful host. The space is beautiful, clean, full of light, private, and with every comfort. We loved the bedroom, with it's large windowed wall that also had block-out curtains, so we could sleep in if we wanted to. Our kids were very happy on the fold-out bed in the living room, especially watching some of the DVDs that Linda has left. The location is also excellent; only a 10 minutes short drive from Port Townsend. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Includes kitchenette, ground coffee and a cozy sitting room with walkout skylights. The window seat offers an additional place to sleep. Upgrades include champagne, roses, bath salts, massage oils. Just ask!
From your bed, you can enjoy an expansive view of the shipping lanes as they funnel into the Puget Sound. Watch the sun rise over the Cascades and set over the Olympics. The space is for adults only and we have fun with it. We enjoy doing the romantic upgrade or stocking food or treats for special occasions. Sleeping in the candle-lit turret on a feather-topped bed, the walk-out skylights and the large tub for 2 are commonly mentioned as favorites . Let us know if we can make your stay more special.
The views are amazing but the walkable location is what makes this fun . One of Port Townsend's great treasures, Chetzemoka Park and the beach, is a mere 3 blocks away. Houses in the neighborhood are varied and interesting -- creative expressions of nature-oriented homeowners. The Port Townsend Farmers Market (http://jcfmarkets.org/saturday), winner of the prestigious Washington State Farmers Market of the Year Award, is less than a ten-minute walk from your door. The market features regionally grown organic produce, line-caught fish and pasture-raised meats and eggs, locally-crafted cheeses and brews, and a whole lot more. Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, April through December.
  • This little hideaway blew us away with its gorgeous views and adorable turret bedroom. The location couldn't be better!

  • We've been coming to the View Loft for years, and hope to return many more times. Why? Because it is an absolutely unique space. The views are unparalleled on the Peninsula both from the octagonal tower bedroom and from the skylights and other windows in the living room. It's a cozy space, but so delightfully complete. A private deck and immediate access to the public walking trail make this property even more special. Anne is a gracious hostess with lots of great advice on local details if you want. She's also comfortable giving guests lots of privacy. Come here for a unique, romantic experience.

    Karen2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place with an awesome view! Super comfy, will most likely stay here again.

    Austin2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Ann was an excellent host. Her lodge was a quick walk to downtown, and the views really are as pictured. She was very communicative and willing to go the extra mile to make sure her guests are satisfied. There were no major issues with the lodge, though we did have trouble sleeping due to noise during a windstorm. It’s very cosy, but it did get cold from time to time. All-in-all, we had a great time in Port Townsend. If you’re looking for a place to stay, don’t pass it up.

  • Turret bedroom overlooking the water and mountains! Great place!

    Ted2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay with Ann and it was as perfect as the first. Great location to enjoy Port Townsend. The details were great, from bathrobes to fresh beans for coffee. It was a great base to explore from and cozy when the rains drove us back inside. We look forward to coming back to PT and a future stay with Ann as well.

    Rick2016-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Ann's. She provided everything we needed, plus so many extra details like custom-cut curtains for the little nooks in the turret bedroom and shower. The view from said turret bedroom makes you want to stay in all day, yet there's so much to explore in this cozy town. This was my fave airbnb spot so far.

    Molly2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is my third visit to Ann’s air b and b’s. The location is great. The spaces are all beautiful and feel very comfortable and warm.

  • Christine's suite view is a hidden gem and very much worth a visit. From the start we felt comfortable and welcomed by her as we explored the local Olympic Peninsula area of Chimacum, Port Townsend and Fort Flagler. This airbnb is the perfect getaway from a busy week in the city or for just the simple fact that it overlooks a breathtaking view of Port Townsend Bay. Christine's suite was well stocked with great bathroom amenities, a generous kitchen and even dvds to enjoy after a night outside by the fire pit. Very cozy! We will definitely look forward to staying at this location again when visiting the area.

    Ryan2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing views, quiet, nicely set-up, very comfortable and clean. Christine provided tea/coffee, as well as salt, pepper, oil and yoghurts, and if you need groceries, it's only a 2-min drive to QFC. We particularly loved having breakfast outside in the morning and enjoying the beautiful water views. Thank you for a great stay!!!

The Sky Blue Cottage is a classic 1950's rambler with a cozy vibe, updated for the modern traveler. You'll have the entire front half of the house, 5 rooms in all, to yourself. I live in the back half with my own entrance and living space. The house is tucked away on a rustic street that ends in a walking trail just four blocks from Fort Worden and just a mile from Uptown and Downtown Port Townsend. You'll love living like a local in this quaint, quiet and inviting home. PT#012595
This listing includes two well-appointed private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, a dining room including coffee/tea bar, a private bathroom across the hall from the bedrooms, and a den with propane fireplace. If you only need one bedroom, please see my listings for the Sea Glass Room or Driftwood Room at Sky Blue Cottage. You'll still have the entire suite to yourself, but can book just one room at a lower rate. Guests have exclusive use of the spaces described above, which are located in the front half of the house and set up as a dedicated guest suite. You’ll be given a code for self check-in and 24/7 keyless entry to the front door. I have private access and completely separate living quarters in the back half of the house. I share my space with a small dog, but she is not allowed in the guest areas. While this listing does not include kitchen access, a fully-stocked coffee and tea bar is provided. There is also a mini-refrigerator, small sink and microwave oven. There are lots of great places for take-out and plenty of dishes and utensils in the comfy dining room if you wish to eat in. Free off-street parking is provided immediately near the front door and all rooms are on a single level. There is also a free dedicated guest electrical vehicle charger at the guest parking space. Please Note - This is a completely smoke-free property and I have made every effort to ensure that bedding and linens are protected from dust and allergens, as well. The neighborhood is ideally located for quick access to Fort Worden and the beach, and is only a short drive to Uptown and Downtown Port Townsend. The neighborhood is very quiet - ideal for someone wanting a peaceful place to rest and relax. There are many trails throughout the neighborhood and it's a great place to walk.
  • Great place! Fantastic host!

    Tess2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 1st experience with Airbnb, and it could not have been better! Karen's home is in an ideal location in Port Townsend - a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown and the state park - and a wide guest parking space right next to the house. She left us sweet touches like a welcome basket full of goodies and our names displayed when we walked in. Everything was very clean and organized, yet perfectly comfortable. It was the most "at home" I have ever felt away from home because of the small details in her decorating, such as a lovely ceramic dish set (I used to teach ceramics so I can appreciate a nice exploding glaze!), vintage lamps, and the lovely white beach-inspired bedrooms. The decor was just nice enough to feel pampered, but not so fancy we were afraid to touch anything. We have two childre (Website hidden by Airbnb) and they also felt comfortable at Karen's. The biggest hit was her cozy den; filled with vintage records, a record player, board games, markers/adult-kid coloring books, and even cable and Netflix if desired. Our kids learned to play chess and Twister on this visit with the help of Karen's den! The beds were comfortable, towels were plush, and it was always temperate in the house - not too hot, not too cold. (And yes, she has a Keurig! Always a plus for coffee drinkers away from home.) Finally, I want to include this: my young son is terrified of dogs, which made finding lodging in the PNW pretty tricky. I knew Karen had a little dog, and when I confided my concern about my son being afraid, she offered to text us every time she took out her pet so that our paths would not cross. This was so thoughtful and kind, and it illustrates what a wonderful host she is.

  • Excellent quarters, well cared for.

    Richard2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Recommended! I did not see so much as a speck of dust at Karen's cottage. The space easily accommodated my parents and I. We appreciated the small thoughtful touches, including bathrobes and snacks. While there is no kitchen, there is space to eat and prepare a simple meal. The location is quiet and is a short drive or reasonable walk to downtown, and it's very close to Fort Worden. Karen provided simple check-in instructions and was responsive to texts. I'd stay here again!

    Mary2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really great, maybe one of the best values I’ve ever had on airBnB. Lots of thoughtful touches and all the amenities are very nice, super comfy bed. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach. Would definite stay here again!

    Caleb2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Karen has so many great touches in this house that make it comfortable and attractive. We loved the record player and the sunny patio. The location was fantastic for exploring Fort Worden and accessing the beach, both within walking distance. We appreciated the pack-n-play being set up for our daughter and the house's open floor plan made for safe exploring for our 10-month old. Karen was a kind and gracious host and her house couldn't have been cleaner. P.S. Don't overlook the kitchen pictures when packing your cooler! No stove and no freezer.

    Anna2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Karen's place was an absolute delight, with little and big added amenities that made it more than comfortable. Karen's responses to our questions and concerns were prompt and helpful. The place was cute, clean and located very near Ft Worden and in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. Karen had some great suggestions for what to do in the area. Her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated! I'd definitely stay here again, should the opportunity arise.

    Trudy2019-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed at several Airbnbs on the West Coast and Karen’s space & hospitality were the best yet! Her cottage is so very comfortable with all amenities, making you feel at home as though you were visiting with friends or family. And yet having your own private 2-bedroom cottage! We were fortunate to meet Karen during our visit and she was more than gracious, offering much appreciated tips on local places & activities as well as interesting sites in Seattle area. We were in town for an event offered by Centrum at Fort Worden State Park and the location was perfect!! We were able to walk to the park within minutes. Enjoyed yummy meals at ‘Taps’ at the Guardhouse and ‘Reveille’ at the Commons. Great live music, interesting history and scenic trails. We even rented bikes at the park to cover more ground, exploring the Marine Science Center, beaches and Lighthouse. We had a blast! Looking forward to another visit soon! Thanks so much for your sweet hospitality Karen!! JoAnn & ST

  • We stayed at Ann's cottage for a few nights at the beginning of August 2019 during our Pacific Northwest tour. The location is quiet and peaceful in the outskirts of the downtown, still in a walkable distance to the restaurants. The cottage has all that you need. We were happily surprised for snacks, fresh bagels, cream cheese and coffee left for our use. There is a small kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and grinder - all that you need to fix breakfast or snack. I appreciated the bed linens and towels and cleaning supplies were all good quality. The only thing we wished to have had was a stronger/reliable wifi connection. Highly recommended place to stay!

    Sari2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I stayed in the cottage for a couple nights and it was just lovely. Very homey. Ann has done a great job of creating an inviting space to relax in, or warm by the gas fireplace (sadly, something we used in this month of Juneuary!). The location is perfect. Accessible to downtown, uptown, Fort Worden Park, etc. We didn't meet Ann personally, unfortunately. We also didn't opt for the breakfast items as there are many places in town to enjoy breakfast. The fresh coffee beans were great in the morning to get us going. Thank you, Ann! Hope to return to Morgan Hill!

    Cindi2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • The guest house was great! Ann and Christina left us granola and popcorn for snacks and a fruit plate with milk and OJ along with coffee and tea for breakfast. The neighborhood was beautiful and so close to downtown. We took a nice walk to town to check out all the nice stores and restaurants. Highly recommended!

    Terry2014-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely and inviting. Everything was perfect, opened the little front door windows, (charming!!!!) and had fresh air gently coming in. Listened to light rain on the sky lights, perfect. The best sheets ever! Comfy bed, comfy day bed, sweet bathtub. It was all really fantastic. Everyone in the house made us feel welcome. Thanks again so much. Lori and David

  • David’s tiny home is very unique and it has so much character. Mini trail was good to walk with my dog. He played in a pond and soaking wet though:) David is very relaxed and friendly. His dog, Sasha too! I recommend the tiny house very much especially summer time because it has a fire pit. I didn’t do that this time but maybe next stay.

Sparrow’s Perch sits in a southeast corner, so is drenched in a warm glow of morning sun. Grandma Bertha’s oak vanity is the focal point of the room, topped with her porcelain cosmetics tray. Her favorite reading chair is under the windows. This room has a queen-sized bed with support foam that gently contours the body for an amazing night of sweet sleep. The shared full bathroom has a shower and bathtub.
  • Robin was a wonderful host. Her place is absolutely immaculate and so well decorated - and she is as warm and welcoming as the environment. We are bird lovers, and we enjoyed the sunny kitchen and looking out into her charming yard with birds flitting about everywhere. The breakfast was delicious, along with warm cookies and a teapot accessible during the rainy day it made us feel cozy. The room was quiet and very comfortable. We feel like we found a new friend in Robin and we look forward to staying again!

A beautiful tiny home nestles in 5 acres of forest land with lots of rhododendron a short 5 miles from the center of Port Townsend. Plenty of room stretch your legs or just stroll thru the rhododendron gardens and smell the the fresh air. This tiny home or cozy cottage is a land yacht with lots of beautiful hardwoods and interesting features. Port Townsend is a mystic seaport and the wooden boat capital of the West Coast. Sorry not pets allowed.
Dave the captain is a sailor and master woodworker. The tiny home was designed with care to display how light colored wood and dark hardwood can be used together. The dark hardwood adds rich accents to the interior of the tiny house and makes it appear more spacious.
Our property is located on the end of a cul de sac next to forest land. A large pond is just a short walk off the property. Great place to walk your dog and relax.
  • This listing is not what you're looking for unless it has been completely renovated. We recommend that you verify that the pictures are actually and factually as the listing describes. We also recommend talking with the owner by phone to confirm that you're going to get what you paid for. It's a country setting and could be lovely, but we were disappointed that David and his wife were completely unprepared for us. We ended up having to stay elsewhere, and we're expecting a full refund. But the inconvenience to us was very disappointing.

  • Super and cozy place the heat source is a fire which you will absolutely love. All the comforts you need. Only people that won’t benefit are anyone who can’t climb stairs to the bed. Other than that, it’s a dream come true. You will love it if you love cozy spaces. As far as comfort goes, it’s right up there with any other room plus the warmth of an all-pine interior with wood trim. Gorgeous and inspired.

  • A very charming small house (the owner operates his own tiny house business). The location is very quiet, at the end of a road in the country, about 5 miles from Port Townsend. The house is rather rustic, but still has a decent-sized kitchen, bathroom with shower, and gas stove. Note that the headroom in the bedroom loft is quiet low, and going up and down the stairs may require some stooping. David is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the Port Townsend area. Overall, a great place to stay.

  • First of all, do not bring your dog. My service dog was viciously attacked by the property owners unrestrained German Shephard that is allowed to wander the property unsupervised. It is extremely toy aggressive and wrapped its big pearly whites around my service dogs throat and she was screaming in pain and fear. Outside of that horrible experience the place is small and quaint, though if you want to cook it’s not ideal. I did like it though and had that terrible attack not occurred, we would have come back to stay again. As such, we will not be returning.

  • Was not ready for lodging of guests. Construction dust throughout. Arrived to 2 widows open and the gas ‘wood’ stove not lit, and cold. Not fun. Did refund so acknowledgment of shortcomings appreciated.

  • Such a cute house!! It's on a pretty decent chunk of property with lots of flowers and bird song. It is small- my husband whacked his head climbing into the loft a few times (we're both kind of clumsy) but all the nautical touches are very very cool. David is a super accommodating host and is very kind.

  • Cool tiny house, but be aware that there are no blinds or curtains on any of the windows so you're up as soon as the sun in. Also, his dog has free range of the property which can be an issue if your dog is not comfortable with other dogs.

  • This is a great place. Very close to town. David is a friendly and accommodating man and Sasha the dog is wonderful. The tiny house is perfect except for the extremely low ceiling in the sleep loft and the stairs leading to it. Outside of that we had a very enjoyable experience.

Brigadoon, a place that is idyllic, unaffected by time, and remote from reality. Experience the Great Pacific Northwest. Six miles from the victorian village of Port Townsend's wonderful restaurants and shopping. About five minutes from the wooden boat school. If you want to get out on the water, observe the fantastic wildlife, see the picturesque views of the Pudget Sound and the Olympic National Forest, sail, hike, or just relax, then Brigadoon is for you in this mythical place.
The luxurious Yurt is placed in a beautiful garden, depending on the season, different flowers will be in bloom. Cozy, spacious with views of nature out of the many windows. The bathroom is private with heated floors. Six foot bathtub to soak in with bubbles, if you like. Has its own beautiful french doors leading out to your private deck.
Located in Irondale, we have a rich history of the old iron working days, complete with ruins and kilns found on the beach. Head towards the water, it is a wonderful walk and a peaceful, tranquil getaway towards some of the most beautiful views you have ever seen.
  • A peaceful sanctuary, tucked in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to surrounding towns. This was the perfect base camp for our local farm tour adventure. I would love to come back and hibernate with some books and games.

  • We absolutely loved our stay at the yurt! It was just like the pictures and had thoughtful touches. It was the perfect getaway from busy city life and would highly recommend! We hope to be back someday!

  • Julie has created an amazingly beautiful space for travelers. The garden is lush and full of fat robins, zooming hummingbirds, little fluff-ball bushtits, swallowtail butterflies. Also wonderful statues, beautiful, playful, and spiritual. The yurt is as stunning with little antiques, rugs, folk art, and interesting books. The bed is very comfortable, the shower/bath is gorgeous, the kitchenette is small but sweet. There are little discoveries to be made everywhere. Even as we were leaving, we kept finding delightful surprises. Yes, we would love to come back!

  • The place is great and the garden is beautiful. We had a great time and able to recharge ourselves. It is quiet and peaceful. The animities are good as well.
