  • For the price you are paying, the location is actually very good! Only about 5 minutes walk to the nearest DLR station and you will be in central London in no time (about 25mins)! However, this place is shared with other guests and that has compromised its cleanliness a lot! The common areas are not cleaned everyday, we did not see the host at all until the very end of our stay so they definitely do not come to clean it everyday. Bathroom (shared) is okay-ish but the shower curtain is mouldy. When we checked in, the front door (it is a bit faulty) was left opened(!) even when no one was there so literally anyone could just get in the house, our bedsheet looks dirty like it has been used and super dusty with lints all over. We had to use the towels given for shower to cover the sheet instead so we did not sleep on it. That was gross. The floor does not look like it has been hoovered or wiped. Mattress was very thin that you can feel your body sinking. I understand that it is cheap, and you get what you paid for but safety, and cleanliness should never be compromised!

  • The accomodations were sparkling clean and the description of property was accurately represented on the Airbnb website. I arrived in London at the London Euston Train Station. Valario went out of his way to meet me there which is about 40 minutes from his accommodation. He assisted me with purchasing a local travel pass and rode with me on the underground toward our destination. During the commute he was able to familiarize me with how to navigate the London rail system. Over the course of my 1 week stay, he provided helpful suggestions and advice on attractions to see and locations of restaurants. I would gladly stay there again.

  • If you need to stay in the neighbourhood I would definitely recommend Ash’s place. His places is few minutes from the tube as well as other great amenities (24h Tesco is in the apartment building). The view from his place is just to die for (gorgeous). The room was exactly as the advertise and bed was comfortable. The main living area was great as well. Only thing that might need to improve is kitchen fridge cleanliness. Over all I love my stay and would definitely stay again.

  • The penthouse had a stunning unobstructed view of Victoria docks and a really large and and open terrace. Apartment and room was stylish and clean. The hosts are a cool professional couple who were hospitable and really friendly and we had fun conversing with them, but they also respect if you prefer keeping to yourself. They also gave us tips on where to eat and drink. Comfortable and enjoyable stay! Closest DLR stop is about 3 minutes walk away. Absolutely bang for your buck, so highly recommended!

  • My parents came to visit me for my graduation and I couldn't get a better place! Iryna was lovely and the house was amazing! Perfect location, litterally 2mts from the station and less than 20 mts to central London. The house was clean and really comfy, we felt like in a 5 stars hotel at a very convenient price. Totally recommend for friends or family trips. Quiet location and very well served with public transport and Tesco.super market around the corner.

  • This place is very decent you get exactly what it advertises. It’s clean, decent and convenient location for the Excel arena. It feels safe as there is a lock in the room. And the hoist gave good instructions on how to get keys and WiFi and all things necessary, even if I didn’t meet her. The kitchen was clean and had all things necessary. I would recommend it. The bed is comfortable and the toilet even though is not in your room it’s outside it’s clean and it’s located only for your room, as the other bedroom has a different toilet with a shower allocated. As a lone traveller it feels safe. Thank you.

  • My son and I had the most wonderful 10days at Shakil’s place. This place is really nice and spacious. Coming from Dallas we were worried it would be a really small space but it surpassed our expectations. Check in and check out was easy. Shakil was very quick to respond to my text msgs regardless of what ever time I sent them. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had the basic things anybody would need in a kitchen. This apartment is clutter free and that’s what I like the most. The location is a super plus with lots to do and see, and the super market been just right there is the best thing ever.     My flat is situated in the heart of the Royal Docks, the last to close from the complex of Docks from the Thames River. It is an historical part of the support to the trade for the British empire with ships coming from all over the world. It's such a great part of British history here. Today, this has of course ceased but the place had been reinventing itself into a very well put urban development where the main pool of attraction is The Excel Centre, the only cable car of London and the proximity of the airport makes it very desirable. The area is mainly animated during day time but is rather quite at night. There is few bars restaurant and breakfast places ( British, libanese, Thai, Italian ect ) a stone away from my flat. A grocery shop is open every single day from 7am until 11 pm just next door. Very convenient! Royal Victoria Dock station is just by my building. 30 second walk! This place is wonderfully linked: - The ExCel Exhibition Center ( 2 min walk) - London City Airport ( 15 min on the DLR ) - Canary Wharf ( 10min on the Tube ) - Oxford Circus / Bond Street ( 25 min on the Tube ) Activities: The cable car that goes straight to the O2 is right downstairs, by the flat Water sport activities are plenty on the dock itself

  • An amazing experience ! Never miss to meet Isabelle. First, you are welcomed with a wide, beautiful and charming smile. Then, the kindness of this sweet lady is unmatched. Finally she is bright and inspirational, a genuinely good person! In addition, her son seems to have inherited of these traits although I had not enough time to get to know him more. The location is ideal, 2’ minutes walk from the DLR station Royal Victoria, 5’ walk from ExCel, surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets, shops... in a quiet area. The room is spacious, very clean, well furnished and beautiful. The big bed is excellent. The bathroom is super clean. So, what else ?! I scratch my head to find a negative point but I definitely can’t ! A wonderful place to stay. Just try it and you’ll be seduced too ;-) I actually want to come back as soon as possible :-)

  • This is very conveniently located if you are visiting the ExCel and is about 1/3rd the price of a hotel. But note that you are just renting a room, nothing special - essentially a bed, storage and Wifi. It is a large room, 5th floor and is quiet, so if all you want to do is sleep before or after going to Excel then it is perfect. There is no access to shared areas - i.e. a kitchen for coffee (you can buy a Costa from Tesco next door) and if you are a business person then make sure you iron your clothes before arriving as there is also no access to an iron.

  • I did not get to talk much to Isabelle but she seems like a very nice woman. She made my check in/out very easy. The room was spacious and very clean, so was the bathroom. It's a good safe area very well comunicated with the DLR station 1 minute away. I had a perfect stay. I recomend this place and when I am back in that area I am sure i will try to get the same place.

    Modern penthouse apartment perfectly located a few minutes walk from the Excel exhibition center. The bedroom comes with a private bathroom and the balcony can be accessed directly from bedroom with AMAZING panoramic city and river views. There is paid parking in the neighbouring buildings, Perfect for visiting the ExCel. Nearby is Canary Wharf & the O2 arena. Supermarket on site, train station next to the building with easy access to the city and Stratford Westfield.
    Lovely comfortable double bed in a beautiful high floor apartment. The bedroom is a good size and has stunning views from the balcony which can be accessed directly from your room. The apartment has underfloor heating and all glass is triple glazed to stop any loud noise from the airport nearby. If it gets too warm I have placed a tower fan in the room also. The bathroom is large and comes with a shower and bathtub. Heated towel rails and some toiletries if you need them. The living room has panoramic city views with a wrap around balcony! Absolutely stunning views of the city night and day. There is a lift in the building to access the apartment. There is also a coffee shop next door and numerous restaurants a short walk away, including Thai , Italian , Indian , Lebanese and cafes for breakfast. You can also catch the river taxi which takes you on a scenic route on the river Thames to great tourist spots in London including Tower bridge , Big Ben and the London eye. The Emirates cable car river crossing is just outside that takes you to Greenwich with views of the whole city when you travel on this. Great location overall.
    Cafes , riverside , city , 02 arena (for concerts , shopping , cinema and food) restaurants , bars and supermarket on doorstep. Lots to do here .

  • Probably the nicest balcony with iconic view I have had the pleasure of experiencing. I am a country boy who does not generally like cities, but I really liked the docklands area. Great place to go for a morning run and Ismail's balcony /living room table was an amazing place to watch the energy and dynamism of a cityscape filled with the O2 dome, the emirates cable car and planes landing at the docklands airport. I thought only the countryside could be energising, but I was wrong, Ismails balcony is energising!

We got fresh towels every 2 days, water, maintenance-coffee and milk. Peter has always helped us, no matter what decency. We think that the property is better and cleaner than any hotel. GOING OUT/ EATING OUT IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOOD SHOPS & SUPERMARKETS: 'The Cooperative' and Tesco supermarkets are 10 minutes away. There are few more small local food markets (Off-Licence shops) and take away restaurants round the corner form the apartment (2 min away). EXCEL: Excel Exhibition Center is a walking distance away (10 minutes) with many shops, restaurants, bars and pubs to enjoy during a day and at night. DRINK: The Oiler - Just the opposite of Nakhon Thai restaurant there is a great little local boat pub called The Oiler. The bar is small but there is a good selection. Staff is chatty and friendly. I like this bar because I love the feel of a boat in the middle of a city with a beach view. It is located in a good location near the Emirates Sky Line. FOOD & DRINK: Docklands Bar and Grill - It is a stylish, Modern European Brasserie open until late night and with a great variety of foods both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I went there few times and was more than impressed veggie main dishes. Despite the lack of organisation in the service, I always leave satisfied. FOOD & DRINK: The Fox at Excel - With plenty of comfortable sitting spaces, relaxing atmosphere and good low background music The Fox may be just what you need. Conveniently located next to the Excel Exhibition Centre this a really nice pub built within an old warehouse. It has high ceilings and old brick walls. Great selection of drinks and food. Beware, lunch times it can get quite packed as conference attendees arrive to partake in liquid refreshment. Pleasant environment, nice food and good selection of drinks. Cheesecake is superb! OTHER ATTRACTIONS: Emirates Air Line - Royal Docks - Superb views and inexpensive using Oyster card. The cable car is fun, and a good bird's eye view of East part of London/Docklands at cheap price equal to a tube ticket.

We enjoyed our trips on the 'skyline' and the apartment is very well situated for the O2, DLR and Thames clipper. We met the lovely cleaner who was very helpful with directions. We arrived via London Central airport and its an easy journey from there to the apartment. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We were able to drop our bags off early at about 11 am which was greatly appreciated. We would certainly recommend Lina and Oshie's place and have already done so in fact. Many thanks.

  • My husband, my 13 year old daughter and I spend 5 nights in Lina’s immaculate apartment. This is the third time we used Airbnb for a city trip and it was again a success. Lina is very friendly, helpful and a brilliant communicator. She is thoughtful with a great sense for detail and provides little things, which make the stay even more pleasant, like plug adaptors, a hairdryer and milk in the fridge. The apartment is exceptionally clean. What can be nicer after a long day sightseeing than to indulge in a bubble bath knowing that the bathtub was absolutely spotless. At the start of our stay we had an issue with the sofa bed. Lina came asap and resolved the problem. As other reviewers already pointed out we three thought as well that the apartment is more suitable for two people, especially if the party consists of adults only and they intend to stay longer. In summary, we definitely would recommend Lina’s apartment.

    The apartment is the perfect location for anyone attending an event or exhibition at the Excel centre which is a couple of minutes walk from the apartment building. There are numerous local shops and restaurants to enjoy. The area is calm and quiet for a good night's sleep. You can reach the O2 Arena, through a short walk along the docks and taking the Emirates cable car over the river (10 mins ride), a must see for visitors!
  • We stayed at Adeels place for 3 nigjts last week. It was AMAZING from start to finish. Check in was really quick and easy. There was a problem with the car park (previous guest had taken the remote control) so we had to park in the Crowne Plaza across the road. Adeel sorted the problem without any hassle. The apartment itself is just fabulous with a large balcony overlooking the docklands. A lovely addition on these warm summer nights as we just sat out there in the evenings. Everything you could possibly need is available in the apartment making it really feel like a home away from home. Lovely comfy beds, fans in both bedrooms, great showers in both bathrooms, very wel equipped kitchen. Location wise again perfect (for us anyway), 5 mins walk to the DLR which takes you to the Jubilee line with access to the city taking 25 minutes in total. Away from the hussle and bussle of the city but still feeling like we were right in it. There is a lovely resturant at the base of the apartment block and another few across the road. There is also a Tesco express and a Niso supermarket 3 minutes walk away. Adeel was a fabulous host and a lovely guy. He was always available to answer any questions we had. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here when visiting London. We will definately be back.

It is on the approach to London City Airport, but if you're using the place as a base like we did then the noise isn't an issue. It was actually fun watching the planes land. Good selection of local restaurants. Adeel (host) was friendly and amenable when we wanted an early check-in and late check-out. We would certainly stay here again if we needed to be in this area. Plenty of local food delivery companies, for after a long day at ExCel. The hosts are great and the apartment was good too. We usually stay at a nearby 4* hotel opposite, however we didn’t miss the hotel and it was good for all of us to be in the one apartment. Would highly recommend!

  • DO NOT STAY HERE. This listing is incorrect. We booked with Alex a couple months ago and were expecting the ‘Luxury en suite double bedroom’. Alex met us and said that the address had changed which we thought was very odd, but he insisted he would take us to the accommodation. We turned up to a family home and what seemed to be one of Alex’s friends’ house in which he was living with his young child. The listing is completely incorrect. We were taken to a double bedroom and expected to share the family bathroom which was not in the least bit ‘luxury’, and not at all what we had paid for. The photos seen in the listing are photos of a completely different home. Alex said that he’d told us previously that the address had changed, which he hadn’t, and tried to make out that it was our fault for not realising it was a different listing. We want a full refund and do not recommend that anyone book with Alex.

  • Positives : Kolsuma’s place is located very conveniently close to the Excel exhibition centre and DLR stations ( 5 -7 min walk). There is also a supermarket ( Nisa) and few other shops. Plenty of food delivery options as-well. The host does not live here all the rooms of the house are rented out. Check in was very convenient, Kolsuma provided detailed instructions including maps.The room was as I expected, a decent size with a wardrobe and it was clean. There is a communal sitting area and a dining table. Negatives: Unfortunately I found the bed ( in my room which was downstairs) to be rather flimsy and the mattress far far too soft and not suitable for any decent size adult , I struggled to sleep. Wi-fi wasn’t working which was less of an issue for me but could be for others. Bathroom was acceptable but needs a proper clean and update. In summary an excellent location for the expo centre , primary the mattress but the bed in general in the room I was in (no 1) was the major issue for me.

    Beautiful, cozy, warm and comfortable lodge room in my back garden, in a private closed square 10 min walking from Royal Victoria station on DLR, 14 min. walking to West entrance of London Excel and 12 min. to Emirates Cable Car where one can cross the Thames towards O2 Arena. From my house you walk towards Royal Victoria Station, cross the station bridge to the other side and there will be the Royal Docks busy life. Only hosting business people over 25+ of age. Car park available.
    This room is in my back garden, entrance from the main door house. Shared bath room and toilet room. You will be able to use the kitchen EVEN NOT offering breakfast you can store your meals in my fridge. Also you can enjoy my open area in my back garden, where smokers can use as they please. Royal Victoria Docks is 10 minutes walking from my house and is a live place with many restaurants and beautiful view to the river and docks. We have a friendly dog a Pomeranian called Teddy, so if you are allergic or afraid of dogs here is not a good place as he is very affectionate.

  • Miriam is a very welcoming host (as is her dog Teddy!). Easy enough to get to from Canning Town station (took me 12 minutes at a brisk walk, 20 mins would be plenty of time), very quiet area, comfortable bed and a very good heater is provided along with extra bedding if required (it was a fairly cold night but I was warm enough) and a towel. Tea/coffee facilities are provided in the room along with a TV. Miriam provided use of the shower (which is quite powerful thanks to an additional water pump) and there is a downstairs toilet. The room is contained in the back of the garden separate to the main house but the area between the two is covered so you won't get wet if it rains. The experience was as Miriam describes, communication was excellent and Wi-Fi was provided. I had to leave early for a prior engagement so didn't stay for breakfast but I have no complaints and recommend this as a very comfortable and friendly place to stay.

The location close to Excel and the train station is perfect when attending shows or going into town.   • Penny's flat was perfect. My friend and I stayed at hers when we went to see Depeche Mode and we absolutely loved it. It was clean, modern; it had a wonderful fluffy double bed, the most amazing view to the O2, and especially at night it felt very fresh and cool, which was much needed on a hot summer's day. It's close to big concert venues which would otherwise take a long time and be very tiring to get to (like I said it is opposite the O2, and if you take the tube you should get to the London Stadium in no time), and it's more than reasonably priced. My favourite thing about the flat however was the cat! I'd definitely recommend Penny to other people and would love to go back if I'm in the area again.

Lovely bright, open plan apartment with great views over both East and West London. Little extra touches like crisps, chocolate and water waiting for us in our room we’re really nice! TV with internet, and a Panasonic hairdryer in the room. Two very cute, soft and fluffy house cats to keep you company also! A minute walk from the royal Victoria DLR station, and the Emirates airline cable cars over the Thames to the O2 arena, so good access to the underground. Would recommend to anyone!

  • I had a really poor experience through this air bnb. It wasn't clear at all where the apartment was and when I tried to find it the hosts didn't answer their phone or messages. This left me walking around East London in the dark in a dangerous area. I had to then find a hotel room for my own safety as I didn't feel safe on the streets and got approached by groups of kids/ youths on two occasions. I then had a call at 11.30 to say the host was at work and the room was now available. Air bnb were no help at all and they just told me to message the hosts. Very poor experience.     Small double room in a nice private Britannia Village development. Flat is located on the second floor (no lift). It is a 2 bedroom place with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. In your room you have a queen bed, wardrobe and a desk if you need to work.
    It is a peaceful neighborhood near the river Thames in east London. You're a couple of minutes from the Emirates Air Line, which is a cable car over the river.It will take you to the O2 in 15 minutes. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a dining and arts facility on the peninsula. You can get there in less than 20 minutes on the DLR. Within 10 min walk is London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming. It's not free, but at least you can take a dip in the water on a hot summer day. You'll also find a few wonderful cocktail lounges, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

    Very light airy room in house near the Royal Docks , the ExCel Centre and London City Airport. Not suitable for anyone with a cat allergy.
  • Great stay. Accommodations were exactly as advertised. Very close to Silvertown DLR line and a nice pub around the corner as well

    This is a newly renovated and modern decorated self contained room, with private kitchen, living area and desk. The bathroom is shared with one other room . The property is only a couple hundred metres to ExCel exhibition Centre and literally 30 metres away from the train. London Airport is just 4 stops away. The property is perfect for travellers, professionals and visitors of the city of London. All restaurants are also very close and Emirates Air Line which crosses the Thames.
    The room is suitable for 3 guests, couple , friends or a family who they can stay comfortable and share the room and its facilities . There are two single beds which can be a Super King size bed and a double sofa bed. There studio room has a private kitchen, with large fridge, cooker, microwave , a kettle and a coffee/tea maker & toaster. There is also a dining area. The sleeping area is separated from the living area. There is also a study area The room have fast fibre internet connection . There is access to the sparkling clean bathroom. It is occasionally shared with other guests. Cleaning services are provided with extra cost for bathroom area when booking is over 5 days.
    The apartment is on the ground floor and it’s ideal for disable access. If you are travelling from Central London the best line to travel along is Central (red) line and change onto DLR at Bank towards Beckton. Once you have made it onto the DLR you journey will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes with no need to alight at any point. There is no direct connection from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Royal Docks. However, you can take the train to London Paddington, take the walk to Paddington station, take the subway to Baker Street station, take the subway to Canning Town station, then take the walk to Royal Docks. Alternatively, you can take a vehicle from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) to Royal Docks via Green Park station and Canning Town station in around 1h 22m.
  • The apartment is located at a superb location. This place has a beautiful neighborhood and is a stone throw away from the tube station. Sunny is a great host, available all the time and ready to help!

  • Sunny was very friendly, polite, considerate and helpful, and responded helpfully to any questions we had pre- and on-arrival. Felt secure in the stylish apartment. Though not used to automatic apartment locks, there were no issues at all, but requires the use of fob, code and key. Really liked the space - ideal for us 2 individuals, and would also have been comfortable if 3. There were no other guests in the second room while we were there, so we had the additional privacy and luxury of hall & good sized bathroom area. Level of comfort in this respect would be dependent on considerate 'neighbours' if the other room is booked, but we would still have been very happy with the arrangement. Apartment had all we needed in the way of iron/board/hairdryer, home comforts, etc. No actual view, but this gave it a 'cosey yet spacious' feel. The apartment is ground level, and the large windows open to the run-in to the car park at basement level. Sunny also provided fan(s) for keeping cool as it was a heat wave. There were relatively quiet sounds - occasional cars, occasional 'whirring' of elevator. Again, if other room is taken, there will obviously be some additional sounds - eg fire doors. Distance to car (with permit) was the greatest challenge when loading & unloading. If travelling by DLR, location is perfect. Walk to Excel arena around 10 minutes, or Emirates cable car around 5 minutes. Tesco and other small supermarket just a few minutes. Would definitely book again in future if coming to the area!     Welcome to my page! My place is conveniently located in London to all major train stations and city attractions. It is a perfect, clean, minimalist, clutter-free flat has everything you need for leisure or business trip to London. In 20 mins you get to: Tower Hill,Canary Wharf, London Bridge,Bank,Waterloo. 2 mins walk away - ExCel centre. There are Italian, Pan European, Lebanese, Thai, Chinese restaurants minutes walk away. Tesco store is downstairs, also Nisa is a minute away.
    The flat is clean, bright, neat, clutter free - that keeps my mind well organised. I really love retro Skandi style.
  • Access : need more detail supplied on how to unlock the ground floor main door by owner once key is retrieved from the off location yet close lock box The unit was not spotless but was not dirty either A better cleaning job should have been done The location is great just meters from a Docklands Railway stop that gives access to all transportation points within London either using the London system card called Oyster it contact less such as a bank credit card The pictures of the unit are exact The one bedroom is fine However the double mattress is supported by wooden slats that will dis engage from their positions if one moves a lot while in bed causing the mattress to sag in the spot where that occurs Had to improvise to correct the situation and when improvised it was very comfortable Due to the fact we were 2 guests we needed to use the sofa as a pull out bed and the sofa was rather hard so we used the top mattress from the bedroom mattress and put it on the sofa bed and was very comfortable as was the bedroom bed with only one mattress Bathroom shower head pressure was good but the shower head would move out of place while showering and there was no improvised solution It was useable but not convient In the living room the full walk drapes are quite nice however there is not the other layer of sheer drapes behind them That mean when the drapes were open anyone could see in fully to the place from the outside front area All in all it was a good stay great for location and when I did contact owner the responses were quick Would I stay here again .. possibly due to location and value for ones money

  • Thank you so much for your hospitality. The apartment was exactly as described. Cute and comfy. Just perfect. Everything you need for 1 night to a several week stay. Right across from DRL with a lovely Tesco for shopping. Also just a hop skip and jump in Emirates Air to the O2. Comfortable bed, nice shower, comfy living area. Would stay again.

The apartment is very well located, few steps from the train, Excel exhibition place and city airport. It was very clean, and have everything you need for a long stay, including equipped kitchen, iron. Warmly recommended!
