Seppeltsfield was established in the Barossa Valley by Joseph and Johanna Seppelt just 15 years after the European settlement of South Australia. Steeped in rich Barossan heritage, the estate is considered a true national treasure which helped shape the history of the Australian wine industry. Seppeltsfield is most famed for the Centennial Collection - an irreplaceable and unbroken lineage of Tawny of every vintage from 1878 to current year. The estate remains the only winery in the world to release a 100-year-oldngle vintage wine each year. The estate also boasts a remarkable collection of Apera (Australian Sherry), crossing Fino to Oloroso styles, all held in vast Solero nursery cellars. Seppeltsfield is a marriage of Barossan history, community and fine winemaking endeavour. A new golden era now sees art and design (through JamFactory studios), gastronomic excellence (through FINO restaurant) and beauty (through Vasse Virgin) contribute to an exciting renaissance of Australia’s iconic wine estate.

  • This is a very well thought out place for families with kids and for the adults to have a great place to bbq and have a beer around the fire pit. Internet is very slow so expect to use your data if you have to do work like us from your laptop. Other than that we love this place so much.

Large bedroom with own private breakfast lounge/hall/porch area - in the centre of the sleepy village of Greenock. Walking distance to wineries, brewery, tavern, PO, a breakfast/ brunch cafe, general store, two bathrooms/toilets. Close driving distance to numerous winery and eating destinations in the Barossa.
The house was originally a police station in 1882 and a small winery in 1916. The two rooms and hallway are comfortable and simple as shown in the photographs with a fridge, microwave, jugs, crockery and cutlery provided.
As its name suggests, Greenock is delightful unassuming village in the Barossa with a largely untouched 19th century streetscape. The township is located on the Mawson Bike Trail and the Heysen Bushwalking Trail. You can walk to Murray Street Vineyards, Kalleske Wines, Ballycroft Winery, Dell’uva Wines and Schluter Wines. Barossa Brewing Company is also in easy walking distance and is open for tastings on weekends. The local tavern, 50 metres away, has local beer on tap and great pub meals 7 days a week. El Estanco, is a popular little cafe serving from a breakfast/brunch style menu 8am to 6pm (except Tues.) and great coffee. Watch out for when they fire up the wood oven for pizza and paella! We have a PO and general store. Hygge, a very homely quirky little Scandinavian homeware and gift shop - is also in walking distance. Greenock is also in close driving proximity to Seppeltsfield Winery and the Jam Factory (think art not jam) and some excellent dining. (Hentley Farm, Appellation, Fino's)

John has great local knowledge and Vicki's knowledge of German would be great for international guests. The sourdough bread was fantastic for breakfast. The king size bed was very comfortable. Would love to stay again.

  • A great, comfy place to stay in the Barossa with great wineries at your doorstep. John and Vicki were great hosts - even pulling the bathroom sink apart when I dropped my earring down there! Loved seeing how John makes his olive oil and Vicki’s lovely art is all around the house.

Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained. It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed. Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard. This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer. It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.
The Writer's Studio is great for singles or couples. I originally called it, The Shed, as it was once a hay shed with three walls and a grass floor. It morphed into The Writer's Studio after various friends asked to use it as their retreat to spend time quietly catching up on writing projects. Wineries abound, as do eating opportunities, ranging from the award winning Appellation at The Louise and fermentAsian (consistently names in the Top 100), to Vintners, Harvest Kitchen, 1918, St Hugo’s and Maggie Beer's Farm. There is also a huge selection of light meal options offered by most of the wineries.
There is a vineyard and winery cellar door directly the house. It is a short, two block walk to the main street, supermarket, bakery, coffee shops, restaurants, Information Centre and bicycle hire.
  • Lesley's place is absolutely amazing, I completely understand why the reviews are so wonderful. The space is so private yet warm and welcoming, and the small touches completely made our stay in the Barossa. I would stay here 50x over, and will recommend this place to anyone staying in this part of the world

  • We had a great 4 nights in the Tanunda for my birthday. The Studio is artsy, spacious, clean and well supplied. It was in a great location. It was quiet and private also close to town and right in the Barossa. (We booked a tour for one of the days so we could both have drinks and they picked us up and dropped us off at the front which was great). Lesley Ann was a great host, she provided us with delicious breakfast supplies. We had fresh (locally made) bread, bacon, eggs and coffee everyday which meant we could set off exploring easily without searching for breakfast first in town (fantastic!) Lesley Ann had some great recommendations, we went to a number of wineries and restaurants she suggested and loved them all! We highly recommend staying here. Thank you again for a great stay Lesley Ann.

We hope to be back again in the near future :)

  • Lesley Ann is an amazing host and her studio is beautiful and very private. I’d recommend her place to anyone visiting the Barossa. She gave us lots of local recommendations, which were all fabulous. P.s. her freshly baked bread is delicious.

  • This is by far the best place to stay in Barossa. Really loved our time here. It’s a really large space, feels private and tucked away at the back of the house. It’s a cute converted shed with amazing decor and a nice outlook on the garden. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could need. We were treated to fresh bread/eggs and bacon on arrival which was such a nice touch. The bed was so comfortable, doesn’t feel like a blow up at all. Had the best sleeps in it! Did not want to leave. The location is perfect for exploring Barossa, right out the front of a winery. Thanks Lesley for the tips and hospitality. We will be back.

  • My partner and I had an amazing stay at Tal Haus. The location was perfect, we could walk into the main shopping area of Tanunda within about 2 minutes and were well situated to explore all parts of the Barossa, all within about 10 minutes drive. Maz was very thoughtful and left a very substantial amount of food for us - my partner loved the honey biscuits from Apex Bakery so much he ate the whole jar! Would definitely recommend Tal Haus to family and friends.

Elsies Cottage is private and secluded yet just a short walk to Tanundas Main St and its attractions
  • Finding the cottage was a bit of a problem but that was also a blessing as it is set back from the road and traffic noise was not a problem. The location is ideal with the cottage being within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops and a newly opened wine bar. For those who don't mind a 1.3km walk, it's even within walking distance of a micro brewery! The breakfast supplies were great but the special treats (home make biscuits, chocolates etc) were even better. These certainly helped with the late night munchies and were really appreciated. The cottage was very homely and comfortable. I would certainly stay there again if I was visiting the Barossa.

  • This is a very cute and private little cottage, close to everything in town and the local wine region. It proved for a very comfortable stay.

  • A beautiful cottage right in the centre of town, so you can walk down the road for a meal or a coffee. Wonderful hospitality with some lovely thoughtful touches that we weren’t expecting. It made for a wonderful stay where we really felt at home.

  • Amanda's place is perfectly located in the centre of Tanunda village, but feels very quiet and private just a minutes walk from the Main Street There was bacon and eggs, plus cereal, toast, butter and spreads provided which was a lovely touch.

  • What a little gem Elsie's Cottage is! Perfectly located close to the main street with restaurants, retail shops and the Visitor Centre just a stone's throw away but very tranquil surrounds. It was beautiful to awake to birdsong and feel like you're miles away from city life. I would recommend staying here, kindly, Jodie @Evolution Concierge Byron Bay

  • Peter and Belinda’ s house is cozy and perfect for our holiday nest. Their intention to detail are lovely. Fire place was on ready to our arrival. Fresh flower, cheese and cracker, lemon and bottle of wine on kitchen table for our arrival are the high light. We were travelling in group of 6 girls to explored Barossa region. We had fabulous trip and enjoyable stay. Thank you super host😊

  • Gorgeous house with great facilities. Definitely recommend

    Cathy2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • 'The Nest' was absolutely what we were looking for..close the Seppeltsfield Winery for wedding accommodation but more...neat and tastefully decorated with all the finishing touches to truly make any visitor feel welcome..thankyou

    Sue2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Belinda for an excellent stay. We stayed at the Nest for a weekend girls trip to the Barossa and loved it. The house is very cosy, with a lovely fire place, and it’s modern and clean. On the Saturday we took a taxi to Nuriootpa, where we hired bikes and then rode them back to the Nest (via lots of wineries), and then the bike company picked them up the next morning. I would highly recommend doing this, it was great. We also loved all the nice little extra touches like the wine left for us, cheese and eggs in the fridge and beautiful blossoms on the bench. Very welcoming!

    Caroline2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! From the first communications to the check out I can’t recommend The Nest highly enough! Quality linens, cleanliness, provisions were above and beyond.

    Nicole2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous stay at The Nest. The location in Greenock was perfect for our needs. Belinda and Peter’s home is very comfortable and inviting. Their attention to detail in everything is evident from the moment you walk through the door. We would happily stay here again.

    Liz2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • We were a group of 4 - a couple and two friends. We absolutely loved Belinda's place - it was very cosy, clean and spacious. We checked in on a cold late afternoon and the fireplace was already started for us. How thoughtful! We appreciated the little touches like the fresh eggs, cheese and milk in the fridge. Nice smelling soap and bath robes in the main bedroom! Good location in a quiet small town but still very close to the Barossa wineries. Recommend El Estanco for brekkie and a coffee or chai latte. Would gladly stay again!

    Nyssa2019-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at The Nest, really appreciated the setup upon arrival with the wood fire ready to go and some treats left for us. Beds were comfy and house nicely arranged and set up. Look forward to staying again.

Our Barossa holiday retreat 'The Acre' is a mere 2 minute drive (or 15 minute stroll) from the town centre of the Barossa's quintessential heartbeat, Tanunda. Newly renovated from the ground up 'The Acre' is a purpose-built holiday retreat. We've taken every care to address all the creature comforts a weary traveller could need, for rest and relaxation... to get back out there and enjoy every last drop Australia's world-renowned wine region has to offer.
The dwelling sits on an acre block of land, hence the name. As our guests, you will have exclusive access to the first quarter of the block, encapsulated by fencing which provides a compound around the house to allow both you, and our neighbours each their own privacy. The house sleeps 6 guests across 3 bedrooms. The recent renovation has seen the interior of the house, and the backyard revitalised in their entirety. The bathroom includes a free-standing bathtub and seperate shower alcove with rainmaker shower head. Full laundry facilities are provided including a large washing machine and seperate dryer, with the option to hang clothes outside on a fold down clothesline. An ironing board and iron are supplied. A seperate room has been set up as a permanent Study with desk, chair and widescreen monitor for those who require a dedicated workspace. High-speed NBN is provided wirelessly and reception reaches all areas of the retreat's compound. The study also doubles as a additional space for the kids to watch TV, a DVD or play the PlayStation. The lounge room, kitchen and dining are combined into a single open plan living space which opens to the alfresco entertainment area. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all cutlery, crockery, glassware and cookware. A capsule coffee machine, kettle and toaster are provided in addition to the microwave, fan-forced oven and dishwasher. Technology in the living space includes a smart television with internet access and an active Netflix account. Attached to the television is a home theatre system with bluetooth connectivity, making it simple for you to enjoy your personal choice of music. The covered alfresco entertainment area includes a 6 seater outdoor dining setting in addition to a chill out space of 3 seater lounge and two armchairs. For those who want to lay on the ground and make grass angels while staring up at the sky a generous lawned area is shaded by a beautiful weeping willow. Undercover parking is provided for 1 vehicle. Where there are additional vehicles these can be parked on the side of the road or behind the existing carport. We are set to cater for young families also. If you require a highchair, cot or playpen please let us know prior to your arrival as these are kept in storage. The Barossa Valley is a stunning adventure waiting to happen, we hope our home will help you enjoy it as best you can.
So close to the town centre yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Just a 2 minute stroll down the road is Discovery Parks Barossa Valley. The family section of the park includes a splashtacular waterpark, complete with three slides, gigantic tipping bucket and more splash zones than we can count. (day passes available for $15, family and group pricing available on request). And while the kids are playing in the water the folks can pop across the road to Barossa Valley Brewing. The brewery houses a Brasserie and stunning beer garden with live music from 4 - 7pm every Saturday and Sunday. These are just two of the many cafés, galleries, museums and within walking distance, and dotted around the main street of Tanunda.
  • We spent 2 nights at The Acre and we were so impressed with the accommodation. Beautiful decor, great amenities, thoughtful hosts. We were perfectly positioned for a Barrossa exploration but also didn't have a lot of noise and traffic. Definitely reccomend and hope to come back!

  • Great place, would highly recommend!

    Ruveena2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Positioned perfectly in the Barossa, just the next street over from the main street in Tanunda. We were honoured to be the first guests that Cory had in his sparkling newly renovated house with all of the mod cons. Check in was a breeze using the code keypad lock. Cory has tastefully renovated his house but it was the small things I really appreciated. Proper sized wine glasses, little Nespresso style machine with complimentary pods, Netflix(!), olive oil + balsamic in the pantry and most importantly, the amazing guest book! Perhaps the only AirBnB guest book that I've actually wanted to read and flip through. Beautifully presented with amazing information about the region and of course wine! Favourite part was the ghost stories at the back. Next level! Cory is a thoughtful and considerate host. We hope to come back for our next Barossa visit!

    Talia2019-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Acre was beautiful and made the perfect base for exploring the Barossa. Great location, and the house was spacious, stylish and clean. Cory was quick to reply and the self check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

    Liz2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for having us Cory! Your place was absolutely perfect to stay at while we explored the Barossa. Location is so convenient to the town and wineries, the house is clean, modern and very comfortable. Communication for check-in and check-out was faultless. And the book of information supplied with local recommendations as well as the history of the region and facts about the wine industry was such an amazing touch. We will be back for sure!!

    Briony2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Cory’s place is such a great spot for taking advantage of the Barossa and some of the great wineries around Tanunda. The place itself is stunning, really well furnished and styled. Some lovely touches on arrival, including a bottle of red that went down a treat as well as a great guidebook for the area! We used the local taxi service to get to some wineries and avoid the rain showers but the town is easily walkable. Cory even sorted us out with a later checkout which made the last morning a lot easier! Recommend Cory’s place a lot. Thank you.

    Anthony2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful home in the perfect location. I would highly recommend Corys lovely house, perfect for a short or long stay in Tanunda. Cory was also very helpful providing plenty of recommendations for the beautiful Barossa area. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

    Louise2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic. Everything you need while staying in an incredibly stylish space. Cory has added the perfect small touches that make the stay a luxury experience. Information on the local area is available in an easy to read hardcover manual. The outside area is well designed and you would have everything you need in both summer and winter. Just book this place you won’t be disappointed!

"The Hideaway" is a lovely, fully furnished and spacious unit available in the main st of central Tanunda, in the picturesque Barossa Valley. Next to the supermarket and across the road from the restaurant 1918. Everything is at your doorstep!!
"The Hideaway" is a lovely, spacious unit, nestled behind a unit on the main street of Tanunda, Murray Street. Very close to everything! There is a large queen bedroom, and a small double bedroom.
Tanunda lies in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Australia's best-known wine region and South Australia's most visited tourist destination. Tanunda is the focal point of the Barossa. With its strong European heritage, distinctive church spiers, wineries, cafés and restaurants there is plenty to see and do in the town. "The Hideaway " is right in the centre of Tanunda. Foodland and Priceline are right next door. There are two cafes within 100m of the unit, and a hairdresser and health food shop right opposite. 1918, one of the Barossa’s finest restaurants, is also within 100m of the unit. Tanunda is home to the Barossa Visitor Information Centre, an ideal starting point for any visit to the Barossa, located at 66-68 Murray Street (the main street) and open seven days a week. The town also boasts a number of wineries, including Peter Lehmann Wines, Langmeil, Richmond Grove, Lambert Estate and Chateau Tanunda, with its impressive buildings and grounds, located next to the Tanunda railway station. One of the roads that connects Tanunda to Angaston climbs up Mengler's Hill where a large lookout provides an excellent vantage point to appreciate the vineyards and the richness of the Barossa Valley.
  • A lovely, comfortable little hideaway on Tanunda's main street. Close to shops, restaurants and a good pub and of course all those lovely vineyards. Comfortable beds and a good kitchen. When we arrived we found that Barbara had filled the unit with fresh roses. A nice touch as was the packet of locally made palmier biscuits. Can recommend The Club Hotel, 1918 (restaurant) and Finos restaurant at Seppeltsfield.

  • Such a great spot right in town, close to everything, we heard absolutely no noise, comfy bed and great aircon/heating.

  • The Hideaway is a really nice place and in a good location. The flat has everything you need and is clean and comfy. It was very easy to communicate with Barbara and there is also a manual with clear and detailed instructions for everything in the flat. I'd gladly stay in at the Hideaway again.

  • The Hideaway is a cozy apartment with lots of nice personal touches. It was great for our Barossa wineries tour, we could park on the street in front of the building. Barbie was very nice and we were greeted with some cookies and a card - thank you! The nights were quiet which we appreciated, and a Foodland is right next door as are lots of cafes and restaurants and shops - all in walking distance. Thanks again for a nice stay!

If you want to be close to everything, Bridget's House is within 2 minutes walk of the main street of the Tanunda in the heart of the Barossa Valley. It's an easy walk to our favourite restaurants, beautiful retail stores, pubs and main town facilities. Supermarket, Pharmacy close-by. Everything you need is at the end of the street and the price includes up to 4 guests! No extra $ for more people, no chintz or friezes, just a stylish sunny home (and best of all, no cabs required).
Bridgets House is a 1950's brick home on the outside, with lashings of love and contemporary styling on the inside. It's a great space to spend some time either sitting around the old butchers block over a cup of tea in the kitchen or relaxing on the deck which looks over a dwarf organic fruit orchard (which you're welcome to help yourself to). A main bedroom at the front of the house is available as well as a smaller double bedroom off the living space. The bathroom isn't display-home beautiful but its completely functional. Most importantly, Bridget's House is eco, where-ever possible there is use of non-toxic cleaning, washing and environmental products. Every effort is made to minimise the impact of our lives on the environment and you and your family and friends know that there is no chemical interference while you are staying, either in the house or in the garden, which is organic.
Tanunda is the heart of the Barossa Valley and home to the best retail experiences and some great restaurants and coffee shops. It's literally all at the end of the street. The Barossa is famous for its wine, delicious regional produce, evocative dining experiences and beautiful scenery. You can choose to go out during the day to visit wineries and places of interest and during the evening everything is at your fingertips.
  • We'd planned an escape with 2 of our close friends, we needed a place that was comfy to cook in and drink some wine. This house was perfect, beautifully decorated and endless spots to hang out. We spent most of our time around the big wooden table in the kitchen and had everything we needed to cook up a big feast. The garden was also stunning, we would love to come back in Spring/Summer and spend a bit more time outdoors. Bridget was so welcoming and helpful and this place was more than comfy. We will definitely be back!

    Hannah2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Bridget’s. The house is nice and is in a great spot within walking distance to the Main Street and is also a great central location for touring the Barossa wineries. The house is very homey, comfortable and nicely decorated. Bridget was also very helpful in suggesting places to dine during our stay! I highly recommended staying at Bridget’s place.

    Josh2018-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Bridget’s home is exceptional. The backyard was filled with fruit trees, and the decor was a Zen retreat. It’s also conveniently located which made for easy evening strolls to the pub and local restaurants.

  • Perfect place to stay for an escape to the Barossa. Super friendly and helpful host, the property has the 'home away from home' feel and is close to everything you need.

  • We absolutely LOVED Bridget’s place; it was such a treat to stay in such a beautifully styled and welcoming home. Bridget herself was arguably the most helpful and kind host we’ve had. The location was also unbeatable.

    Jessica2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Very good location and great deck!! Very good communication and very accommodating host

    Josh2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bridgets House was the best house we could have stayed in and is located in a fantastic location. Bridget is easy to communicate with and nothing was a trouble. We left feeling relaxed, only wishing we were staying for longer! We will be back! Xx

    Justine2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough great thing about Bridget's place. It was so cozy and comfortable, you could walk anywhere. We choose to do the hop on hop off bus around the valley and the house was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day! We enjoyed the lovely back yard (when the weather cooled off!) and our only complaint is that we couldn't stay any longer. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the wine and everything the valley has to offer.

Your space is private. No shared spaces. The owner lives on the property - often not home. Your space is the front section...three bedrooms, large living area/TV room, bathroom has a shower and full sized bath. There is a double bed in bedroom one, a queen bed in bedroom two and two single beds in bedroom three. You can cook simple meals in the living area. There is a small oven, hotplates, sandwich maker and drip filter coffee.
There is not a full kitchen. The front part of the home is for your exclusive use. There is also a large bathroom with bath and separate shower recess. The double garage has been insulated and converted to a living space with TV, four seater dining table, three seater lounge, recliner chair, sofa bed and reverse cycle air conditioning. If you can’t deal with the garage, best to book something smaller for twice the price elsewhere.
A very quiet modern street with very little traffic. Close to many wineries and The Farm Eatery and Experience Centre ( Maggie Beer’s place).

  • Stuart was easy to communicate with and flexible with check in time. His house was tidy and close to Tununda town (only half an hour walking distance). The bar fridge and microwave were very handy. We found his cat accidentally left on our bed when we arrived so he apologised and provided us with new linen. We really enjoyed our stay at Stuart's although we hardly got to see him, he surely made us feel home and our stay pleasant.

    Selim2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Stuart's place is convenient, cost effective, clean & neat and as a pastry chef, the added personal touch of his home made croissants was lovely.

  • Our weekend stay at C&C's in the Barossa Valley was fantastic. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, well appointed and exceptionally clean. It is also in a perfect location for tourist places to visit in and around the Barossa including lots of wineries etc. The special touches such as chocolates, wine, cereal and breakfast spreads were greatly appreciated and we must not forget, even coffee pods were stocked in the cupboard. Too many times we go to places where there is a coffee machine and no pods. The accommodation is within easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafe's so we could leave the car at home. Everything was just perfect, definitely a 10/10

  • Thanks for a great stay Wendy! House was super clean and spacious. Perfect location in Tanunda - everything walking distance (FermentAsian across the road, 1918 and Foodland around the corner and Z wines diagonally opposite). Wendy even supplied a baby bath after we let her know we were travelling with our 4 month old. Great hospitality, would recommend to everyone!

    Jenni2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location, attentive host and wonderful homely touches made for a very lovely and comfortable stay. Was especially handy having a baby bath, high hair and portacot for our 9 month old. Easy walk to shops was a huge bonus. We shared the house with my parents in law and it worked well. Loved having fresh herbs in the garden to cook with too 😊 Would definitely recommend and stay again! 👌

One of Tanunda’s most admired homes, The Tudor House is centrally located in the heart of the township. Stylishly updated throughout, it retains many of the features of the era with sweeping veranda, high ornate ceilings, intricate leadlight windows, polished timber floors and joinery. Ideal for a luxury couple's getaway, a group holiday for up to four couples or a family stay. Private rear yard with pool. Walking distance to town centre, bakery, restaurants and sporting oval.
This is a hallmark location in a leafy street that is one of Tanunda's most sought after residential addresses. The Tudor House is designed for gracious living, but it also has many comforts that make it a welcoming family home. We hope you will enjoy your stay and will want to return again and again to our restful haven in the Barossa.
A wide, leafy street surrounded by other quality homes and great neighbours.

It was also a great location to explore the Barossa Valley. The house was very comfortable - the bedrooms are particularly luxurious. The kitchen was VERY well equipped and we were happy that the weather allowed us to make use of the fireplace. Thanks for a wonderful stay Wendy!

  • Wendy is an excellent host and offered us great suggestions for our touring of the Barossa Valley. The house is very comfortable and we loved the kitchen/living area for relaxing at the end of our day. As the house is very central in Tanunda, it was easy to walk into the centre of town for dinner. I can recommend the Foodland Coop in Nuriotpa for a wide range of excellent cheeses, deli items and groceries.

    Greg2018-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful house very large with the best equipped kitchen i have stayed in. The little touches like the brochures for places to see, milk and fresh eggs from the chickens. We had a girls weekend 4 girls, so a room each, it was cold and wet outside over our few days but the house was warm and comfy we watched dvds and sat on the great couches. The pub was only 2 blocks and we only had about 10-30 minutes to most of the Barossa, so fabulous base to see the area.

    Annette2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • We and our friends had a wonderful time in Greenock, the home is huge, but very comfortable, very well apointed, very clean, had everything right down to chickens, ( fresh eggs for brekky) even a complementary bottle of wine for the ladies and beer for us guys. Very quiet area The hosts kept communication open at all times.

  • Karin's house is a perfect family home. It is sparkling clean and very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped and organised and the entire house has been thoughtfully furnished. Absolutely everything we needed was provided for. We loved the extra touches - the fresh eggs from the chooks, the pantry items, the toy room (our daughter did not want to leave!), the most comfortable beds, just to name a few. Karin is such a wonderful and lovely host. Thank you for making our stay so very enjoyable!

  • Great spot and easy walking distance to the main street of Tanunda. Shannon was super flexible with check in and check out times and loved the fresh flowers and brekkie starters. Highly recommend.

  • Shannon's place is lovely. It was clean, and well set up with some homely touches. Tanunda is also a great little town for a weekend away

The Barossa Valley is an internationally-acclaimed wine region founded on passion, pride and the great South Australian spirit. Shiraz grapes are the local speciality but don't miss out on digging into sumptuous local produce. Further to this, below is a list of some of the most popular attractions I think you might enjoy along the local Seppeltsfield Road and beyond: ★ Maggie Beer's Farm Shop. ★ Hentley Farm degustation. ★ Seppeltsfield Road Distillers - Handcrafted Barossa Gin. ★ Barossa Valley Ballooning, just next door! ★ Penfolds Barossa Valley cellar door - a 10-min drive. ★ Barossa Farmers Market- Angaston (Saturdays 7:30-11:30 only, 15- min drive ) ★ Take a walk to Seppets Mausoleum and admire the view from the top, overlooking the famous Seppeltsfield Palm Drive. ★ Wander into over 80 cellar doors.
