Paradise for the live music enthusiast and nature lover, or anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with easy access to the city. Walking distance to Bear Creek and beautiful trails for hiking, biking, fishing, and picnicking during the day, and a 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride to Red Rocks for a show in the evening. Come explore, relax, and soak in everything this incredible part of the Front Range has to offer!
You'll have private access to the entire walk-out lower level of our home. Enter through a high-ceilinged, light-filled living area, complete with a gas heating stove and pull-out queen sofa. Up the stairs, the kitchen area includes a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, coffee, and an assortment of teas. We provide yogurt, granola, and frozen breakfast burritos. Down the hall you'll find your private den — kick back while watching Netflix, or peruse the shelves of books and games. A gas heating stove keeps you toasty on those chilly mountain nights. The adjacent bedroom provides a comfortable space to sleep, with cozy bedding, windows offering lovely mountain views (with room-darkening curtains in case you don't want the sun to wake you up), and lots of closet space. Outside, there is a seating area with table and chairs to soak up the views day or night. There is also a backyard disc golf course with 7 baskets for your enjoyment. We live in the upper level of the house, above the guest space. While you’re here, the lower level is all yours — we won’t enter unless you ask or there’s an emergency. Although there are no shared indoor spaces, you may see us in the driveway or in the yard with our dog.
Our neighborhood is peaceful, with incredible views in every direction. You're likely to see deer, rabbits, and other wildlife on our property and around the neighborhood — maybe elk or foxes if you're lucky. We're a quick half-mile walk from Little Park, which connects via creekside trail to Lair o' the Bear Park and more fantastic trails. We've done plenty of trail running, hiking, and mountain biking in the Idledale/Morrison/Evergreen areas and beyond, so we're happy to provide additional recommendations to help you make the most of your stay.
  • I’m so glad I chose Aviva & Alex’s place for my nature getaway! I was visiting both Colorado Springs and Rocky Mountain National Park (west entrance), and this was the perfect central location for those trips with easy access to the highways. The hosts are welcoming and the space is large and comfortable. The coffee/fridge area was stocked with coffee and tea essentials, as well as yogurt, granola, and frozen breakfast burritos, which was so helpful! But of course, nothing beats the amazing views from the front patio! It was the perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee. At the end of my trip, I was lucky enough to see six elk just off the road the house sits on, about a mile from the house. I highly recommend Aviva & Alex’s place, and hope to return in the future!

  • Stayed at the Cantabury Cottage for New Years, the stay was amazing. Great spot away from the city. Great Bed & Breakfast for a couple looking to escape or to enjoy the local attractions. The private hot tub in every room is a great touch we definitely utilized that after a long day of activities. The Jacuzzi was perfect for the cold winter nights. The breakfast was a perfect add to the trip $15 per day per couple. Definitely recommend this spot.

We are a 10 min drive or $10 Uber ride from Red Rocks with big sky and foothill views tucked in the thoroughfare of I-70 to the Rocky Mtns. <15 mins to many types of restaurants. 25-35min to downtown Denver, Cherry Creek, and Boulder. Stay for the night to take a day trip to the mountains: 60-70 min to Winter Park, Cooper Mnt, A-Basin, Echo Mnt, Eldora Mnt, and Keystone. 35-40 minutes to Loveland.
Enjoy the 1,000 sq feet newly remodeled Carriage House apartment above the attached main house garage. Two bedrooms with a private bath. Sleeps six comfortably. Infant and kid friendly. Has a kitchenette with large fridge, stovetop, microwave & a large toaster oven (cooks 16” pizzas), and has a dinning/living room area. Has a laundry area with full sized washer and dryer, ironing board with iron. A four-wheel drive vehicle or one equipped with snow tires is highly recommended to transverse the driveway during snowy months (Oct-April). We are afraid The Carriage House is not conducive for pets.
  • Great location for red rocks shows.

    Thomas2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy carriage house connected to the hosts Home. We used this airbnb as a home base for our 4 day ski trip, where we commuted to Loveland. The home is right off of I-70 and a few minutes from Golden. The space was cozy and functional. The small kitchen was useful, however we learned the hard way after buying frozen pizzas that there was no oven. This turned out alright with a little creativity with the microwave and toaster oven. This airbnb was a good value for a small group of friends or family to commute to ski or see other sights in the mountains.

  • Great place to stay!

    Rebecca2019-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We live in Golden, and were looking for a place to accommodate an out-of-town guest. Maria's Carriage House was very convenient, was only 12 minutes from downtown Golden, and has a fantastic view! Our guest said that there was a little traffic noise, but that the air conditioner provided adequate white noise so it was not a problem at all. Very clean and comfortable, and with a kitchenette (and a great selection of coffee), we would definitely send guests there again! Probably the best deal in Golden! Thanks, Maria!

    Terry2019-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great space.

    Matt2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and beautiful unit.

    Justin2019-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Had everything we needed. Modern and had nice personal touches. The place was roomy and worked great for our family of 4. The traffic from highway 70 was a bit loud in the early morning, however, we ran their box fan the next morning and the traffic noise wasn’t a bother. Would stay here again.

Great place for couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

Off a gated private road of about 10 residences you will feel secluded and secure. Take a walk on the dirt road or head east into Mt. Falcon Park, the views will not disappoint. Again we are on the property, but this is detached from our main house.
  • The house is perfect for a weekend get away. It is very nicely furnished and the host is very helpful! Make sure to check out the Country Road Cafe for an awesome breakfast as recommended by the host. The jacuzzi looking out over the mountain side makes for a memorable couples vacation.

  • We loved our stay at this cabin! We recommend that anyone who books goes out onto the deck early morning & watches the sunrise over the mountains, also early morning is when we seen the elk & chipmunks! We loved everything about the cabin, but the views were our favorite! The drive up to the cabin was a little sketchy to us (mind you we are from Chicago), but would recommend not getting in too late before knowing your way up to the cabin & definitely wouldn't drive up after drinking- we kept feeling like at any moment we could drive off the side of the mountain. (Again maybe that's just us city folk.) All in all it was a fabulous stay & we highly recommend it! Also we highly recommend Sit N Bull Saloon, Red Rock Park & Amphitheater (for hiking & a concert.) & 7 Falls in Colorado Springs is amazing!

    Isaac2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic stay! It's tucked out of the way and is much easier to check in during daylight so you can learn the layout. The location was as described and much larger than you would think. The privacy and views were amazing and being able to hang out in the hot tub late at night was definitely a bonus. Thanks a lot for your hospitality!

    Joe2017-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Good value. Beautiful scenery.

    Jay2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jennie’s place was amazing. It’s very exclusive, but that’s what makes it so great! Waking up every morning to the crisp cool mountain air and being able to lounge around in the hot tub or hammock while grilling delicious food was picture perfect. Great indoor space as well, with a huge screen tv and leather recliners, which were perfect for watching football. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mountain retreat with all the amenities you could need.

    Mitchell2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so much fun. It has everything you need for a quick little getaway. The views are amazing even on your drive up. I loved the property and the setting of the hot tub in the mountains. 5 stars! 🤩

Cozy mountain home with cheerful and funky decor. Perfect for a RED ROCKS amphitheater get away, being just 4 miles from the venue. (sorry no hiking trail, only a mountain highway- 74) A forest feel so near to urban Denver it seems the best of all Colorado gifts in one! Denver International Air Port (DIA) is 40 mins drive and once here the wintry peaks are with in reach. All year round this Mountain Home away from Home is comfortable and quaint a place for a rest and reset.
Tucked up into Bear Creek Canyon the home has the best of urban convenience is only 5 mins away and natural beauty with so many trees and access to the creek.
Quite neighborhood except for the highway that runs up the canyon, ha ha
  • Perfect place for anyone looking to attend a concert at Red Rocks. Plenty to do within a 20-min radius, and Kathy is great with communicating quickly and offering suggestions. The room is perfect for what we needed it for, sleeping. It was quiet, dark, and the beds were sooooo comfy! We couldn’t beat the price either! We’d definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

An easy 25-mins to Denver or 50 mins to world class skiing- The Chalet near Red Rocks offers everything you want for your perfect mountain getaway!
Completely separate from the main house, your charming chalet is your perfect oasis after a day of hiking, biking, exploring or concert-going. Inside, a fully-equipped kitchen with high-end Bosch gas range and dishwasher, huge side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, pots, pans, wine glasses (& a bottle of wine!) lures you to cook, while outside on your deck you can summon your inner Grillmaster or just enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit while taking in the Rocky Mountains to the West or the magnificence of Red Rocks 4 miles to the East. Travel up and down our breathtaking Canyon road with inspiring red rock formations and steep mountain sides to all the great towns nearby - Artsy Morrison, Historic Evergreen/Picturesque Lake/Boating/Fishing, BBQ Heaven in Kitteredge's Switchback Smokehouse. If you’d prefer to enjoy one of the great restaurants in Evergreen or Morrison 10 minutes away, come home and spend a relaxing evening warming by the fire pit on your private deck while you revel in the scenery, gorgeous seasonal gardens and splendor of a million stars. If relaxing with yoga or exercise is more to your liking, there is a separate, peaceful space with a lovely funky vibe where you can just chill. In the house, two luxuriously comfortable queen beds, beautiful open floor plan, private bath with fluffy towels & robes, TV, Wi-Fi, garage parking for 1-vehicle and a bottle of wine await you! Darcy, our adorable Havanese puppy will probably come welcome you during your stay.
The Muddy Buck, just up the glorious Canyon Road (Route 74) in Evergreen is the perfect place to grab some great coffee (roasted on site!), pastries or lunch. Or if you're heading toward Morrison stop off in tiny Morrison Joe for their java. Lair o' the Bear and Little Park - just across the street, and the famous Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, a quick 5-minute drive away offer 35+ wonderful miles of hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, and at dawn and dusk plenty of wildlife viewings. Enjoy our beautiful and majestic neighbors the mule deer, elk and occasional wild turkey (!) – but please remember, they were here first, so respect them, their territory and, tempting as it is, don’t try to pet or feed them. You bring your hiking boots, we'll supply the bicycles! Or get adventurous and hop on up to Evergreen Lake where you can rent paddle boards or boats or enjoy one of their bi-weekly Lake Concerts throughout the summer. Ten minutes to the East, down Route 74, sits the little mountain town of Morrison. Its main street is filled with restaurants and quaint shops but it is best known as the home to Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre (formerly Garden of the Angels), the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world! But, if you think Red Rocks is just a great place to hear a concert or have a picnic - think again! It encompasses hundreds of acres of geological formations, native plants and dinosaur remains. Guided tours are offered daily and the fitness scene here really rocks! Every morning you can see yogis doing downward dog, CrossFit enthusiasts frog-jumping the steps, or folks walking the 69 bench seats at 6400 feet elevation. And don’t forget – Saturdays at 7:00 there’s yoga! Bring your own mat. Up Route 74 to the west you’ll come to charming, historic “downtown” Evergreen. Settled in 1859, Evergreen’s got a slew of great eateries, as well as wonderful & unique shopping, music, galleries & local theatre. Evergreen Lake voted one of the “top 10 most beautiful outdoor skating rinks in the world" by CNN, offers a day's worth of activities in any season. In winter there's skating, ice fishing & cross-country skiing. If you visit over New Year's, celebrate by roasting marshmallows by firelight, watching the falling ice star & fantastic firework display at midnight. In summer enjoy fishing, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing & more. Rent boats, kayaks, or paddle boards at the lake.
  • This is a perfect location for visiting Red Rocks! We enjoyed cool nights outside admiring the wonderful view and a full day of hiking local trails before seeing a show. The kitchen was well-appointed and we used it to make breakfast each morning. Our hosts left us tons of great ideas for local activities and restaurants.

    Chris2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as the pictures show! Diane and Bert were great hosts ensuring we were all set and that we can get in touch with them for anything. So close to red rocks, great hiking, and small shops. If you're looking to relax and reset I recommend staying here.

    Danielle2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time and Diane and Bert's place. it is conveniently located near Red Rocks and Morrison. Great place to stay if you are catching a show at RR!

  • My husband and I came here to see a concert at Red Rocks, which is only about 15 minutes away. This is a cute little gem is in the middle of the mountains, with beautiful scenery and access to hiking trails. The garage door opener wasn’t working and there was an incident with an “accidentally” locked door, while we were at the property. Other than that, it was nice.

    Vanessa2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place if you are in town for a concert at Red Rocks. Quick Uber ride to the venue. Host are great! We arrived to homemade cookies and a bottle of wine. Place was very clean, bed was comfy, kitchen is new and has everything you need if you want to cook. We chose to eat out and loved the restaurants that were recommended by Bert. Lariat Lodge is just up the street. They brew their own beer and it did not disappoint. Their reuben sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. Get the green chili for a side! You won’t regret it. So good! Murphy’s Mnt Grill in Evergreen is a must. We went for lunch and sat outside by the creek. There is a great rooftop bar, Rooftop Tavern, in Morrison that is perfect for post concert cocktails. We also had a great breakfast at The Cow An Eatery in Morrison. Highly recommend it! Wish I was back at Diane and Bert’s sipping coffee on those chaise lounges, looking at those beautiful mountains:) Would go back in a heartbeat!

  • We were at Diane and Bert’s place for 5 days and had a great time. The property is very well equipped with everything we needed. Great hiking and scenery are all near by and only a 30 minute drive into Denver. Evergreen is a very cute little town and Diane and Bert had great suggestions for restaurants. Just be sure to print out the directions and access instructions as you will not get cell service once at the property.

  • Wonderful spot for anyone going to Red Rocks or a trip to Rocky Mountain Natl Park. The house is private and includes anything you will need for a trip! We will treasure our time at the chic chalet and the hospitality shown to us!

    Dana2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • This location is perfect if you have a concert at red rocks. Also I just love being out in the country so the location was great for that as well. The house has all the supplies you could need. The fire pit out back is great to sit at at night and they were kind and supplied some wood. I would come back to this place again when I visit Denver for another concert.

Restored 1940's bungalow just minutes from the world-renowned Red Rocks venue. Located only a 1min drive uphill from Morrison with views of both Red Rocks and Mt Glennon, you'll get the feel of old school Colorado living. Quick access across the street to tons of hiking and mountain/road biking trails. The perfect spot to stay for a show at Red Rocks as well as those that want to enjoy all the natural beauty of Morrison and surrounding areas. A Quick 20min to Denver and <1hr to ski hills!
This restored 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom bungalow is situated just outside of downtown Morrison, but far enough that that it has the feel like old school Colorado in the 1960’s. The entire house is tastefully updated with all the /modern conveniences , all while still keeping its old 1940's charm. . The spacious vaulted ceilings in the living room and kitchen give the space a airy, open feel. and has a small backyard with patio seating. Enjoy a drink with friends in the living room, watch cable TV or Netflix on the big large HD TV, or cozy up by the gas fireplace when its cold outside. The large kitchen has refinished oak floors, birch butcher block countertops, a coffee bar, full set of cookware to make your own meals, and new appliances thorough out including fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and gas stove. The bathroom has been completely remodeled with vintage black hex tile floors, new white subway tile shower with all glass door, new fixtures throughout. Head out to the patio from the kitchen and enjoy the Colorado sun, soaring Osprey, views of Mount Glennon directly to the East, and nighttime star gazing. After a long night, head to any of the three cozy bedrooms, which all have new Memory foam mattresses, dressers, a place to hang clothes, and blackout curtains for sleeping in after a good show. We also provide easy and safe off street parking for 2 cars. The house is directly off Colorado Highway 8 that connects downtown Morrison to Highway 285. Note: You can hear passing cars and traffic during busy hours. Also, in the summer during events (not every night) you can hear the brief noise from drag cars from Bandimere Raceway (cool if you like cars) and also faintly hear music from Red Rocks (also cool, if you like the band that is.)
Red Rocks Amphitheater's South entrance is only a few minutes drive from the house. Downtown Morrison is also only a minute away by car. Its walk-able down the hill but going up back to the place is a chore (There is always Uber/Lyft). There are many unique restaurants to choose from in town, as well as a nice coffee shop, liquor store and of course, the legendary Holiday Bar which has cool, vintage back bar, pool tables, music on weekends, and of course , colorful locals. For the most part restaurants around Morrison close around 9, but there are a few bars that will stay open late. Also of interest.... Hiking: There are several hikes right across the street from the house at the Mount Falcon trailhead. If you are okay with getting in the car, there are tons of hikes within 10-20 minutes away. Download the All Trails app for descriptions and directions to nearby trails. Museum: Take a short walk from the house, and you'll be at the small but very informative Morrison Natural History Museum, which showcases Discover Colorado's dinosaurs with expert guides and hands-on exhibits at Jefferson County's original paleontology museum. Stop here first before heading down the hill to the famous Dinosaur Ridge...where you can take a walking tour and see some of the best fossilized Dinosaur remains in North America. Also just down the hill from the place is Bear Creek Bike trail, which connects will trails all over the Denver Metro area, As well as to: Bear Creek Lake State Park ( a short 7 minute drive), where you can hike or paddle board on the beautiful Lake. If you feel like swimming, then head to Soda Lake, just a 5 minute drive from the house. This Location is very centrally located and easily accessible to so many things. Located just a minute up the hill from the house to highway 285, 7 minutes to interstate I-70 and the Denver Metro Light Rail system, 20 minutes to the north, middle, or south areas of Metro Denver, 10 minutes from Golden. Also, skip the metro traffic going to and from Denver proper, and get to the Ski resorts of Summit county such as Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper mountain, as well as Winter Park 45-1hr.
  • House was super clean and adorable! We loved sitting on the back patio in the evenings. And a great location close to Red Rocks for concerts and beautiful hiking trails.

  • This house was outstanding. Much more than I had expected. I’m a local but wanted to get a night away and see a show at Red Rocks. It was so close and easy to get to from here

Our lovely home was built in 1940. It has a private deck with a hot tub and views. You feel like you're in the mountains but you only have to drive 30m from Denver! We are right off of hway 74 for easy access!
Our lovely home was built in 1940 and still has much of the original construction. It is a bi-level home...2 bedrooms/bath with shower/kitchen/living room and deck upstairs and reading room/family room/ 1 bedroom and bathroom downstairs. There is one set of steep stairs going from the upstairs to the downstairs. If you have more than 2 in your party, the separate levels create a true sense of privacy making it difficult to know that there are others in the home! We are 4 miles from Red Rocks Amphitheater (which is AMAZING!!) and historic Morrison. **We are located directly off the road so please be advised that there will be some traffic noise. The degree of the noise obviously depends on the time of year and day of the week. Sometimes it is silent and others it is busy. Weekends are obviously the busiest. We live equally as close and don't find it a bother... I just don't like to give the impression that we are in the middle of nowhere! There is a creek side walking/hiking path within walking distance of the house. We are also 11 miles from Evergreen which offers more advanced hiking and biking. We have done our best to provide all the comforts of home: spices, TV, Wi-Fi, etc....but we don't offer air conditioning or a hair dryer, so please bring one if you need it! **If AC is a way of life for you, please consider this before you book with us. We do have both portable fans and ceiling fans and have added an attic fan and blackout blinds on the warm side of the house. It may warm up in the day but usually cools down at night...that's the Rockies! Check in is 300p and check out is 1100 am. We can sometimes accommodate an early check in or late check out depending on how booked the house is. **The number of guests that you have reserved the house for are the number of people that we expect will be in our home. **Due to problems with prior guests, we can no longer welcome short visits, long visits, meeting people before a concert, etc. ***Absolutely no one else may come into the house or stay the night. We do apologize for having to make this policy. Light rail is accessible in Golden which is approximately a 15 m drive. Ideldale is 4 m West of Morrison. From Morrison, you can access I-70, C-470 and 6th Ave quite easily.
  • We had a great visit in Idledale! The house was great - perfect for two couples with one upstairs and one downstairs. thr location couldn't have been better, central to everything we wanted and super close to Red Rocks. Thanks for everything Ron and Stacie!

    Elizabeth2016-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ron and Stacie's place is simply perfect. We met Stacie the day of arrival and she had the house nice and toasty for us! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full course meal, just make sure you turn on the stove fan! The living room has a very comfy couch, fast internet and great views of snowcapped mountains. The bed, sheets and pillows are all very comfy. It's right off the main road but we had no problem with noise whatsoever. Yes, the hot tub is to die for! There is no cell service for at&t but the internet replaced the need for that, and you're on vacation in the beautiful mountains of CO, drop the phone :) The house is convenient to most everything. 5 mins to Red Rocks and just under an hour to LoveLand Ski Area. Could not recommend more, we will be back!!!

  • Had a great stay! You can’t beat the hot tub with a view day or night! If you are looking for some great hiking, highly recommend. But also not far from town to get necessities! We went into town at Evergreen and had breakfast at the Wildflower Cafe. And did a Wine Tasting/Flights at Creekside Winery! And so much more! Loved the winding roads, and was easy to get to. Great relaxing getaway! The house was great, and had everything we needed! Thanks for your hospitality!

Dino Den is a cottage that features two bedrooms, and two futons in the living room. It comes with a large dining room table and kitchenette. The cozy living room will make you feel right at home. There's also a private patio with a large hot tub for you to enjoy. Mere seconds from Red Rocks Amphitheater, our location is in the heart of Colorado. We are within walking distance of many of the best attractions and restaurants Morrison has to offer, as well as driving distance to nearby ski areas.
We have themed private cottages that surround the Cliff House Lodge mansion which capture the charm of the past with modern amenities, including indoor Jacuzzis or private outdoor hot tubs. The Cliff House Lodge is the first building ever built in Jefferson County.
Morrison is home of Red Rocks Amphitheater, many cute shops restaurants, halfway between Denver International Airport and local ski areas like Copper Mountain, Frisco and Breckenridge.
  • The Dino Den is a great place to stay! Parking is right next to your cottage, the hot tub ran just fine. Everything we needed! Will stay here again.

    Jessica2018-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • 10/10 recommend. Location is perfect you’re wanting to stay in/close to Denver without the noise and traffic of the city. Small cottage with a hot tub is amazing. There were even robes inside which was an awesome bonus. They are 420 friendly which is nice as well. Honestly, this place is a hole in the wall, a hidden gem for sure! I will totally stay again! Wish I would have stayed here the whole time I was in CO!

    Niko2018-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a great find! The hot tub and patio area are AMAZING! The cottage is super clean with plenty of space. It’s got a very homey feel to it and they have a big television in the living room with Netflix profiles ready to rock! Saif is an excellent host and was super hospitable throughout our stay!

    Gabriella2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was wonderful! The host was really nice and was available for help if we needed it our whole stay. We stayed in the Dino Den and loved it! It was super cute and a very relaxing cottage. The hot tub and privacy was perfect. The place was very clean and had everything we needed! We will definitely be returning and next time we will stay longer. I would highly recommend staying in one of the cottages. It is a beautiful hidden Gem!

  • Great if you want to be fairly close to Red Rocks concert venue. But, expect tired decor & some issues with cleanliness. Floors did not feel clean & one in our group found a cigarette butt on the carpet near bed.

Fabulous two bedroom, garden-level of this beautiful mountain property near Red Rocks Amphitheater. Peaceful and serene with wildlife and mountain views. This is on the infamous National Scenic Byway: The Lariat Loop. Everything you want to see and do is right outside your door in this mountain paradise. Scenic drives, Red Rocks concerts, historic towns, breweries and wineries, restaurants, unique shopping, buffalo and elk herds, hiking, picnics...fun things to do are endless!
The Guest House is the lower level of this lovely 100 year old mountain house and it is completely private from the owners retreat upstairs. You have your own indoor and outdoor dining and living areas. It is surrounded by large windows on all sides and is sunny and bright inside. No interior staircase between the levels, so they are private.
The neighborhood is a charming mountain village tucked away behind Mt. Morrison in Bear Creek Canyon. Red Rocks Amphitheater is just on the other side of the mountain, so nothing loud gets through, yet it is a short drive away.
  • Just Ok. Here are the cons first, then the pros 1. View was not as described. Could not see anything thru the branches. No Mountain View as mentioned in the listing. 2. Not ideal for long term stay. 2-3 days max. Kitchen is not fully stock. You cannot bend down in the shower. Hairy legs all week for us. 3. Stairs from death from garage to home. Do not bring heavy suitcases. It is not well lit and quite steep. 4. The apartment is the basement of the house. The pathway is unpaved with mulch. Not much of a sitting area outside. 5. Parking is on the side of the road and not in a dedicated spot. *6. There was left over moldy food in the frig and the cabinets. It felt like good left over from multiple visitors. 7. No separate thermostat so when it was freezing we had to use the space heater. Thermostat controlled by upstairs 8. You can hear every foot step of people Walking upstairs. 9. Location is not ideal for city drivers. 10. Did not supply toilet paper Pros 1. VCR with tapes. It was like memory lane into the 90’s

    Jessie2019-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • good location for red rocks but that's it. I'm 6'4" and the whole time in this living space I was bent over because the ceiling is so low. cut my head on a beam too. the photos dont really give a good representation of space. Also you cant lock the place when you leave so you have to take all your stuff you value with you down to the car. nice host but not the best place for me.

    Maureen2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location and seating areas inside and outside to enjoy the time!

    Ashley2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is the downstairs level of a two story home, and is completely separate from the other space. The interior is very cozy and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a living area. There is an amazing rock wall in part of the home, and the whole thing is cute and very comfortable. The view is lovely! You do have to walk up a fairly long set of stairs from the parking, but the hosts had cleared the snow so it was easy to get up. I would highly recommend!

    Jennifer2019-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I was very disappointed by this place. Every room stunk of chemicals from overbearing air fresheners. There was no way to control the heat and it was cold, with insufficient blankets on the bed. The place was clean enough but in general disrepair, and the fireplace was an electric heater with pretend flames. I slept in my hat and socks. And the sheets were the most synthetic I've ever felt.

I am an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, mountain biking and pretty much anything that gives me an excuse to be outside. I built my home eight years ago with the idea that I wanted a secluded retreat that had a spa like feel. I wanted to be within minutes of people, shopping and great restaurants but I wanted to feel like I was million miles away. I hope my guest will come relax, sit around the fire pit, tell stories, enjoy the hot tub, take in the magnificent views, and use the space as if it were their own.
  • Fantastic location and home! We jokingly said it was like one of those jaw-dropping places you see on “The Bachelor.” Super convenient to Red Rocks, other outdoor adventures, and local restaurants/bars — but still quiet and private for sunrises AND sunsets (courtesy of 360 degree views!). Also loved stargazing and sleeping with the windows open on cool summer nights. Definitely recommended!

  • Larry and Brandi were great hosts! Very accommodating when possible, very personable, and respectful of their space and also mine. They went the extra mile on a couple of things that made my short trip very fulfilling! It was everything I hoped it would be, and I took full advantage of the incredible view, zen music, awesome coffee, specialties in the fridge and bottle of wine that were provided for me, (Who Knew there would be such a welcome!) also, some of the comfortable amenities in and around the guest house. I visited the Red Rock Amphitheater for a visit and stayed longer for a good workout. The drive to Evergreen was beautiful! Thanks for the good communication throughout and all that you provided me during my stay. Love the dog, the hummingbirds and the warm floor! I hope to return someday soon for a stay and a concert at the Amphitheater. Until then, thanks for sharing your space. I hope I gave you the same good energy back. TJ/Julia

  • Larry and Tassi have a breathtaking home, let alone the view! Five days at their humble abode was easily the best trip I have ever taken. For starters, Larry and Tassi were very quick to respond and answer any question we had. I don’t think I’ve ever had such great hosts through Airbnb. Our guest house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with some sweet treats and a fridge fully stocked! The heated floors were a great touch to have and the bed was very comfortable! We used the hot tub once and it was very relaxing with a stunning view. Waking up to such a beautiful views all the way around the home and watching the sunrise and set was something I’ll never forget. They were lovely to check on us and see if we needed anything throughout our trip! The location to Denver was about a 25min drive into downtown, it flew by with how scenic it is out there. I would love to book through Larry and Tassi every time I come to visit Colorado! I couldn’t have asked for a better trip! Thank you!

  • This place is incredible! Exactly as the pictures show. The guest house is SO cute. The bed is very comfortable as are the pillows. The atmosphere is incredible and the views can’t be beat. The extra little touches they put into our stay made all the difference. We enjoyed the bottle of wine they provided for us, and loved the snacks provided! Don’t hesitate to book here. You’ll have an incredible time!

  • Great place to stay we will be definitely coming back again very friendly staff and clean rooms and very clean private hot tub next time I’m booking the Camelot room

  • There was absolutely no doors inside the house. That would have been nice to know before we went. Tried to message them on the air bnb app multiple times and they never replied. Check in was fantastic I can’t remember the ladies name but she was great. The house was a lot smaller than we expected however. They asked when we wanted breakfast done and we said 10 and it wasn’t done until almost 11:30. I felt so bad for the little girl in the kitchen getting overwhelmed while the guy who seemed to be running the place continuously argued with me and walked around in his robe fresh out of the shower which I found very unprofessional. He really should have helped the girl cooking to accommodate his guests instead of arguing. We told him we had been in the cottage for breakfast since 10. We had just moved to sit outside in the sun cause it was nice. We had also talked to the girl cooking at least 3 times and he told me no one knew we had been there for OVER AN HOUR. That guy definitely needs better customer service and the whole staff obviously needs to learn better communication skills and teamwork. Would rent the space again if it was only myself and one other person. Definitely not 4 of of us when it said it could sleep 5. And I would definitely hope there was a better staff if I ever came back. The hot tub was great tho!

  • Very cool pad! Astetics are on point. the staff is very nice and helpful. the hot tub was the perfect thing.

  • Billy and Wendy's place is beautiful and their hospitality unmatched. The place was sparkling clean, communication was phenomenal and they even worked to get our room ready a little earlier so we could unwind before the concert. They truly made our first Red Rocks experience amazing. We will definitely be back!

    Laura2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Billy and Wendy were wonderful hosts and made our first visit to Red Rocks one to remember. Their house is perfectly located with amazing views and our time with them added so much to an already magical night. They were totally flexible with us and responded to any questions we had very quickly. We will definitely be staying again!

    John2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay! This is the perfect spot to stay for a concert at Red Rocks. Everything about it was great and Wendy and Billy are fantastic hosts. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

    Michele2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Billy and Wendy are so nice they even cooked breakfast 2 mornings! The view is beautiful! Great communication!

    Jj2019-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ours was something of a whirlwind visit to Billy and Wendy's guest suite, but it was nothing short of epic. Within fourteen hours our experiences included: welcome hugs from a drop-dead gorgeous redhead in a bikini top, yoga pants, and housecleaning gloves who ushered us over to her own home so she could finish sweeping up after the Border Collie PUPPIES who had tracked dirt on the clean floors of the guest suite; offers of cold beer and a fascinating brief history of the property from Jurassic to present from Billy who created this Red Rocks paradise and whose generous personality makes him beloved by all, as we witnessed when he chauffeured us over to our show and greeted every single employee at the venue as a friend. Amenities at the guest suite included but were not limited to: a personalized parking space; restaurant and hiking suggestions; dog biscuits; thoughtful touches throughout the rooms; a very nice bathroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Wendy even checked in on my sweet old pup while we were gone to make sure his water bowl was filled and to give him a biscuit. I thought the highlight of our brief stop in Morrison would be the Mark Knopfler show. In fact it was meeting this lovely couple and sharing their corner of the world for a brief moment in time.

    Molly2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Billy and Wendy were the most gracious hosts and went above and beyond anything we could have imagined for a stellar red rocks experience! The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and cozy, with amazing decor and ample space and amenities. Wendy and Billy welcomed us into their home to share stories and drinks and enjoy the magnificent views of red rocks from their back porch. They really made it feel like we had a home away from home but with rock star treatment. We will definitely be staying again in the near future and can’t wait for the next show. Hats off to the King and Queen of red rocks!!

    Leah2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, what can I say but outstanding! Billy and Wendy were amazing hosts who immediately made us feel at home and went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

    Melissa2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Billy & Wendy are absolutely wonderful and their guest house is nothing short of amazing! Billy cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning and even drove us around Red Rocks and pointed out a hiking trail for us to try! From the very moment we arrived until we left, I felt as though we were among friends. The guest house was even decorated for my birthday and the views are gorgeous! I HIGHLY recommend this Airbnb!

“Indian Hills, a place of ponderosa pine forests and flowery meadows with elevations between 6,800 feet and 8,500 feet, was once a summer campground for Ute Indians. Now, at the beginning of the twenty-first century, it is the home of approximately 1500 residents, some of whom have been privileged to live here for more than 50 years. Enjoy Mt. Falcon park which is a 1/2 mile walk up the road and provides abundance of trails for hiking and mountain biking. We are small quiet community located in the foothills west of the Denver Metro Area.  We are happy to have Deer traffic on a daily basis.  Most often it is quiet, where you can hear the children playing, the wind moving through the trees and during rutting season you may hear the Elk bugling in the distance. Wildlife of Bear, Mountain Lion, Fox, Birds, Deer and Elk exists at various times. Truly a beautiful place to live, play and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle.” Read more about Indian Hills from the INDIAN HILLS COLORADO website.
  • Beautiful house and view. You feel as if you're miles away from civilization even though you are only a short drive to restaurants/ wal-mart/ liquor stores. We had a blast watching the Final Four games while playing pool and ping pong. Just a wonderful place for many occasions.

Ubers are still able to get out there and you're close to sites like Red Rocks and Grocery/Food is just about 20 minutes away ... however, note that there are quiet hours and you do not have access to the hot tub.

    Lauren2018-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Truly majestic. The home is even better than the humble description. Incredibly spacious, all bedrooms have their own designated wing in the home, very large, bathrooms are spa type design. The views are so impressive from every room in the home that you will find yourself walking around with your camera. Chef's delight! We cooked a dinner and had every supply, cookware, and spices one could ask for. The kitchen is outstanding. The grounds are privately secluded. It's only a 12 min drive to nearest towns. Will be coming back this spring!
