Well maintained complex with one undercover parking bay and shared laundry available with the unit. Walk to Kings park and our beautiful river. A quick bus trip to Subiaco shopping hub and the Perth CBD.
Additional to the queen bed, the studio has a sofa that can easily covert to large single bed. A porta cot can also be made available if required.
Hampden road is a fantastic location, with everything you might need within walking distance of the unit. Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks and the best local bakery!

  • The apartment was scrupulously clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen. It is also very well-located, close to the Hampden St cafe strip and UWA. However, the final 'b' seems to have disappeared from airbnb. Apart from a carton of UHT milk in the fridge, there was nothing that could be even remotely construed as breakfast makings. There weren't even any 'regular' tea bags - Earl Grey is not to everyone's liking. Some cereal - good muesli and weetbix say - a couple of small pots of yoghurt and maybe a banana or two would have completely changed my perception of the experience.

We like the close proximity to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital as we stayed in Perth for medical reasons. Nedlands is a great suburb which also feels very secure. It was quiet and clean, and I could walk anywhere on campus within 20 minutes. Most mornings, I walked along the river, which is beautiful. The little bedsit was exactly as you described it, just as in the photos. I found that it was light and fresh - a lovely little place. Super comfy bed, and I really appreciated the decent desk chair, given I spent a fair amount of time writing. You might want to point out to other academics visiting UWA that the staff club will provide them with guest membership, if they ask. It was very useful for me. Thanks again for providing it for me.   • My colleague and I had a great stay at Astrid's place. The furnishings are pretty basic, but everything we needed including internet was there. Initially, we found it hard to locate the exact apartment in the building but that was our own fault because we didn't read the instructions properly. However, when we contacted the host for help they promptly replied. Whilst I wouldn't book this place for a romantic getaway, I would highly recommend it for people who are participating in activities at UWA. The university's campus is only a 5-minute walk away as well as a mall which includes some eateries and a supermarket that's open until 10pm.

    Separate access and exclusive use of three rooms in a spacious, renovated house in one of Perth's premier suburbs. Close to services, public transport and local attractions - including walking distance to a supermarket, cafes and bars, the University, Swan River and Kings Park.
    The main bedroom is large with a queen bed, TV and wardrobe in the room. The second room has a sofa bed for an additional person or couple. This room also has a kitchenette and a table, small fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery. The third room is a private bathroom with a shower and toilet.
    It's a very safe and quiet neighbourhood. There are a lot of cafes, a shopping centre, bus transport and a couple of wine bars nearby. The University of WA campus and the Swan River are within easy walking distance.
  • Highly recommended – we had a great stay at Robyn and Peter’s place. Our rooms were spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, great light and ventilation, lovely backyard, and overall very comfortable and pleasant for us (we are a couple with a 3-year old). Location also worked well for us – we were keen to be close to the Matilda Bay/river area, and there are numerous tasty and economical eateries within short walking distance. Cheers!

    Our guest urban Scandinavian style cabin is nestled in our green and lush garden. It has a dedicated earthy and Japanese style natural bathroom with an outlook onto the garden. It is the perfect place for visitors to UWA as we are just a short stroll from the University, close to cafés & restaurants, public transport, and nice and quiet if you need to work. We pride ourselves on providing a 'chemical-free' naturally beautiful environment for our guests.
    The studio cabin is light and airy and set in a mature leafy garden. The cabin is furnished simply and comfortably with a table for working or eating, a couch to relax and a queen sized bed. There is also a wardrobe, small fridge, induction hot plate, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, cutlery & china for making tea & coffee plus basic cooking equipment to make salads, pasta etc either inside or outside. Note that there is not an internal kitchen or TV. Facilities comprise of an induction cooktop, basic pots, pan and utensils. ie: Enough to cook pasta, salad or making stove top meals, reheating etc. Hi speed Wifi available.
    Our neighbourhood is adjacent to UWA, Kings Park, public and private hospitals, and 5 minutes drive to Perth CBD. Our neighbourhood is vibrant and full of cafés, restaurants, galleries & coffee shops. A shopping centre is within walking distance and has many shops including supermarket, health food store, many different dining options. The University of Western Australia is a few minutes by foot, as well as Kings Park, Matilda Bay, the Swan River and many wonderful walking, cycling or running trails. Cottesloe Beach, Fremantle, Claremont & Subiaco are all easily accessible.
  • I highly recommend staying at Claire’s place- the space is clean, beautiful, sunny and green, and Claire is a wonderful and kind host. She responded quickly to all my questions, let me check in early and leave my bags for the day on checkout, and provided everything I could need (including breakfast things and offering an umbrella one night when it rained). The location is perfect for visiting UWA, and ideally located near Kings Park and easy buses into the city and to Freo. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on future trips to Perth!

He showed me around the neighbourhood cafes on my first day here. I enjoyed getting to know Jeff and his family. Jeff was also easy going and understanding of my needs. He generously provided any support that I requested for. When I expressed that I was not accustomed to the cold weather, he offered me additional blankets and a heater. When there were unexpected issues with the plumbing, he immediately arranged for it to be fixed within a few hours. The room had a cozy ambience that exceeded what I expected from the photos. The location is very convenient, being a 5-10 minute walk from QEII, shops on Hampden Road, and UWA. I will definitely stay here again the next time that I visit.

  • The living experience in Christine's house is fantastic. The house is clean, quiet, well equipped and maintained. The room is just as beautiful and clean as the pictures show. I walked to work in the UWA in less than 20 minutes. It is also close to IGA supermarket and the Broadway shopping center. The house is in one of the safest suburbs of Perth. Christine and Kim are hospitable and reliable coupe. They drove me to the Cottesloe beach for swimming in the ocean. It's pleasant to talk to them every time. They are talkative and just to the right point, no more no less. I love them. I would like to live in their house next time when visiting Perth.

    This stylish, compact space (60m2) is ideally suited for 1-2 travellers. However, there is capacity to accommodate up to 4 people with one travel cot available for 1 infant. The travel cot (linen provided), one travel infant high chair & 2 safety gates (for the staircase) are all available for hire. Please request upon your initial enquiry. The upstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed and built-in wardrobe. The room down stairs has a double sofa bed (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children). In addition, a comfortable single temporary bed can be arranged. Please request if you require either. The sitting area upstairs (near the kitchen) is compact and consists of a two seater couch. A larger, spacious sitting area is found in the room downstairs. It has a 3 seater couch/chaise longe which is what can be converted into the double sofa bed mentioned above. This room downstairs also has a desk, wardrobe & an attached ensuite toilet.   • Samali is the perfect host. You will enjoy absolute privacy yet any help or tips or local knowledge you need is just a text or call away. Samali is very responsive. The townhouse itself is almost new and has been very thoughtfully fitted out. I strongly suggest Samali fitted it out as if she would live there rather than just to a commercial level. Many thoughtful extras and inclusions proved that. It is also very quiet, private and has a very safe feel about it being in a very quiet area. If you have business at the Sir Charles Gardiner or Hollywood hospitals this townhouse is perfectly located being just a 5 min walk away. There are also restaurants and cafes just a 5 min walk away in case you don't want to cook. I am very well travelled and I can say in all honesty that if you are looking to stay in the area then you cannot go past this property. 5 stars from me

  • We had a great week in Perth and thank our hosts for being so kind and friendly. Overall a great place to stay for a few days. Things we loved about the place incuded: Location - central to really anything by car and Kings Park is so close and fabulous for the family Food shopping was also very close with restaurants walkable in 5 minutes The house had great new appliances, was very clean and really easy to use facilities. Minor drawbacks: The unit is a bit tight, particularly if you are a family of four, but this is offset by the newness of the house and facilities. There were only enough silverware, plates and bowls for 4 people, so we would up buying extra cutlery. Parking is a bit tight, but you get used to it quickly and no problem to park a SUV.   • Location was absolutely perfect for our work trip to UWA. Short/easy walk to campus, nearby shops made self-catering a breeze, and river was an easy stroll. Terry was a perfect host. He responded quickly to emails before our arrival, helped out when we needed a few extra things and made us feel very at home. There are several apartments owned in the complex. Ours was not quite as bright and modern as the one in the photos, and being on the ground floor (slightly below street level) didn't get much direct sunlight (except the back bedroom). Overall - top marks for location and host. A little refresh on the interior decor and all would be perfect!

  • I stayed at Mimi's place for almost a week as I am moving to Perth for studies, and Mimi's place and family were extraordinary. The house is very spacious and very clean, very silent and Mimi's family are very respectful of their guest's privacy, although Mimi will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Communication before arriving was quick and efficient. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, a few minutes walk from the river and the university, with a bus stop just down the road. The fifth member of the family, bobby (If I spelled it right) is a lovely dog but might be scared of you the first few times he sees you. Although all you want to do is pat him, the best thing to do is to let him express is anxiety, and within a few days, he will adopt you. All in all, I had a lovely time at Mimi's house, and would gladly recommend it to anyone in Perth for a few days.

  • Terry's apartment is a no-frill but everything worked as we had expected: The location is great if you are looking at this side of Perth. Everything (beach, the sports facility, university, river side, shopping..) is within 10-15min drive. Bus stops and local supermarket are within 2 minute walk. It provides free parking on the premise - very handy. The common area is a bit run-down and unkempt but the apartment is comfortable and of good size. The kitchen has everything you need. Bathroom is clean (although it could have been better stocked as there were only 2 toilet rolls for our 1-week stay; and the shower was a bit too hot or too cold). There is a paid laundry facility at the basement. Terry is a great host. At the beginning we weren't sure which of his apartments were suitable to us. He showed us the options at the check-in so that we could decide. He was very responsive and friendly.

  • Quiet apartment close to shops and UWA. Older style apartment building with much more soul than newbuild modern styles that can be claustrophobic. Lots of trees and greenery on property, birds chirping away and quiet space at front if you need to study or prepare a paper. Terry made communication very easy with prompt replies. Parking was good and just outside. Supermarket easily walkable one block away with Broadway arcade that has various places to eat. Good place to chill if you have stuff to do at UWA. Key collection was simple with combination safe and code. I would stay here again.

  • I needed to do some work at the University of Western Australia for 3 weeks and I was lucky to stay at Mimi's place during my visit. Mimi is a fantastic person: caring, funny and full of positive energy. I stayed in a fairly large room, with a double bed, a full size wardrobe and a desk, and the bathroom was literally next door. Apart my last week, I was an exclusive use of the bathroom. In the last week, I shared it with a nice young gentleman living in the other guest room. Mimi constantly supplied me with fresh fruits, cakes and red bean soup. When I mentioned that the Perth weather was a little too cold to me, she immediately bought a brand new heater for me - how many airbnb hosts can do that? Mimi's house is about 15-20 min from the UWA campus, on a scenic route that passes by a golf course and the riverside. It is in an affluent neighbourhood, with restaurants and shops close-by. I am truly grateful for Mimi's hospitality during my stay. On my first day Mimi literally took me to the building where I worked. When I left, she waited with me for my Uber. Mimi doesn't just offer me a room, and she doesn't just treat me as an airbnb guest. She cared for my wellbeing, my work and even the health of my family. In conclusion, Mimi's house is close to UWA and her entire family is welcoming, cultural and courteous. I sincerely and unreservedly recommend anyone who visits UWA to stay in Mimi's house.

    Kenata-Fairway is a small, quiet block of spacious quality two bedroom apartments providing short term, self contained, accommodation next to the University of Western Australia. Close to cafes and shops and beautiful Matilda Bay. Free parking. Convenient to QEII Medical Centre and Hollywood Hospital
    Each apartment has two bedrooms both with roomy wardrobes. There is a large living space with two leather couches, digital flat screen TV, DVD player and desk. Every apartment has a full modern kitchen with all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and there is a dining table and chairs. Bathrooms are modern and have a full bath with a shower over. All the apartments are different in layout but all are the same high standard. The main bedrooms have a Queen size bed. Most second bedrooms have a double bed but we can provide an extra single if required. Quality bed linen and towels.
    Kenata-Fairway is ideally located. It is close to all facilities and only a short walk across the beautiful university grounds to Matilda Bay and the Royal Perth Yacht Club. Convenient to the QEII hospital complex and Hollywood Hospital If you are a golfer you will be spoilt for choice-three beautiful golf courses within short drive.

  • Rose was very gracious to me and my family during our stay in the apartment. We had come for a family emergency and needed to prolong our stay as a function of that - and Rose was very understanding and accommodating. Her kindness was very much appreciated and lifted a weight off our shoulders. The apartment in and of itself was fantastic for our stay. It was impeccably clean and well maintained upon our arrival; it had everything we needed to cook, clean, and entertain ourselves for a comfortable stay. It's proximity to the hospital was important to us, but we were delighted by the numerous restaurants and easy bus access just around the corner. The neighborhood is clean and friendly and we always felt safe. If you are wanting to stay in Perth with a kind host and you want a tranquil corner of the city where you can easily get to everything, you can not do better than Kanimbla road.

Everything you need when away from home. Everything you need is within walking and short driving distance. The host was away for my visit but the ladies who deal with my stay were all lovely, friendly and very helpful.

    We love our home as it has recently been renovated and is light, modern and airy in a quiet location. Our townhouse is very suitable for a professional couple as it is EXTREMELY CLOSE to University of WA and two major hospitals. It is also wonderful to be able to walk 2 mins to the local shops, restaurants and cafes or the river and to ride bikes along the river and Perth city. Public transport is practically 'at our door' if you prefer not to drive. You can use the swimming pool at the Uni.
    Each room has air conditioning/heating. Our outdoor area is quiet, intimate and lovely surrounded by lawns and gardens. There are also paved areas and a roofed patio, including a bbq. It is in a safe location.
    Quiet and close to river, shops, cafes and restaurants. University of Western Australia is 2 mins walk and two of Western Australia's biggest hospitals are within 10 mins.
  • My stay here was wonderful. The accommodation was perfect and so close to the shops, restaurants and Nedlands Yoga studio. I loved the short walk to the river and ate at Bayside Kitchen daily, with its beautiful views over the river. Highly recommended!

  • Patricia and her partner are friendly and easy to communicate with. Their home is clean and cosy, plenty of towels and bed linen available. The kitchen is well equipped. It felt like home from home. The location is quiet, only a few minutes from local supermarket which is open from early till 10 at night every day, so easy to pop out for any supplies. Also close to the river for cycling and walking. Great to have a modern walk-in shower, easy to use washing machine and a small garden. Would be happy to stay there again.

  • This was the best Air BnB experience we've had. Patricia thought of everything we could ever need as guests, there were ample towels and linen, everything from clothes pegs to wine glasses. We simply loved living at Patricia's house, it was like living at a family member's home. We felt so welcomed, comfortable and the house had nothing but good vibes and great welcoming energy. The location is simply perfect, 30 seconds walk to the supermarket and about a 5 minute walk to the river. I ran most days on the running track along Matilda Bay, and was able to walk to the gym at UWA in no time at all. I would highly recommend Patricia's place to a couple who loves to keep active and wants to be close to the river, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

  • This is a lovely, quiet two bedroom unit within a couple of minutes walk to UWA and the Swan river. It is also only a few minutes walk from a small shopping centre with a grocery store, hair dresser, fast food outlets, and other useful shops. There are other cafes and restaurants nearby as well....all walkable. So the location was great. This is Tricia's home, I think, so it has a very comfortable, homely feel. It is not like a soulless hotel room or apartment. The unit was spotless when we arrived, and Tricia was a lovely host who responded very quickly to the few questions during our stay. We will certainly stay there again (if possible) next time we are in Perth.

The unit was super clean, well appointed overall and with a fully equipped kitchen. There's a good outdoor space with the well functioning barbecue. We were able to make ourselves right at home.   • in a great location, so easy to catch bus into town or walk even, as beautiful paths along the river. good location for walking out the door and getting a great coffee at Little Whey or a glass of bubbles at Steves next door. Shops(broadway) and other restaurants along Hampden road are all so convenient. Air con in all the rooms was very much appreciated on the hotter days, and we very much enjoyed the bar b q and outdoor sitting area for a Christmas Eve family dinner. look forward to staying at Monika's place again.
