    My home is a two-storey newly built house. My husband and I lives on the 1st floor. We'll share the main entrance but we have our own private space separated by a door. Each private bedroom on the 2nd floor is spacious with queen beds and big closet space. A toilet will be allocated for your private use. Its about 5-10minutes walk to Caulfield station, Monash University, tram stop going to city and buses to Chadstone shopping centre.

  • Rebecca's place is THE best place to stay when visiting or staying in Caulfield. It is quite near Monash University and Caulfield Station. Anyone wanting to visit Melbourne can choose to stay in the suburb of Glen Eira - the place is conveniently near Caulfield Station. From there, one can quickly travel by Metro to Flinders Street, Southern Cross, and Melbourne Central. The place itself is a private home, but it has been designed to accommodate guests. It's newly constructed. Staying in her place like being in a hotel or an apartment. Guests have a separate living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. There is relative privacy from the host and her family. The rooms themselves are quite large and spacious. The host provides coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and water for each guest room. Rebecca is a such a wonderful host! She has the motherly touch and she knows what guests would want or need during their stay. She has had decades of experience hosting guests from all over the world. She has been hosting Monash students, transient guests, and plain tourists since before she joined AirBnB. In times of urgencies, Rebecca and her husband Bill can easily be reached by guests for assistance. All in all, staying in Rebecca's place is worth it!

  • The place is close to public transport, just a few minutes walk to the tram stop and the train station that will take you to the city. The kitchen also has complete stuff. Got everything I need to cook good food. Pots, pans, condiments, thermos, coffeemaker, a fridge..... everything is there. They also have lots of towels for any use. The bathroom has everything you’ll need as well. We also had good communication with the hosts, responds quick and promptly. We only had a problem with the internet. Wifi connection is very poor, but otherwise, two thumbs up!

  • The early flight arrived at the apartment in the morning. Contact Dmitry and immediately drove to the door of the apartment to receive me. I enthusiastically introduced the use of various facilities. Even the laundry supplies and condiments were equipped. The apartment was a few minutes'walk to Canfield Station, and a few stops to CBD were very convenient. The Coles supermarket was nearby.

  • Dmitry is a great host. He is good with the communication and our arrival. Unfortunately, the unit was not great. We had a water leakage that produced a terrible smell in the unit. The dishes were dirty upon our arrival with nothing to clean it. I would recommend looking at other locations Dmitry has to offer, but until this one is taken care of I would suggest not renting it.

  • Joe's place was just what we needed and it was so clean. We recommend Koornang Road for great Asian fare and it's not far away. Best to walk there if you can as not much parking available although we just parked in the Woolies car park. There's also a petrol station conveniently located there. Not having a TV didn't bother us because we didn't have time to watch but if you are on your own/staying in for the night you would need to be prepared to watch Iview. The wifi was faultless. East Malvern is a really great location and it's easy to get to the city. We were catching the Spirit of Tasmania and it only took us 15 minutes to get to Port Melbourne early in the morning as Joe's unit location has easy access to main roads. We would definitely stay at Joe's place again.

    Beautiful house close to Caulfied Station. Your room has a queen bed and cupboard and heaps of natural light. The living room, dining room, garden, bathroom and kitchen are shared with the other room person (very respectful and cool girl who lives there, she can be chatty if you want to but also leaves personal space). The house is big and has a beautiful garden to enjoy for breakfast or tea time.

  • Alice and Sekan’s home is our ideal place. They are the best hosts so far in our airbnb experience. It made us feel very at home. They treat us as their family and not just guests. The house itself is spotlessly clean and tidy. They are very organize. Place is very cozy, makes us want to stay at home instead of touring outside. HAHAHA! Kidding aside. Her husband is a chef, so the kitchen is free to use. They will let you use their utensils and you can cook as well. We stayed for 12 days and we don’t have any issues with our clothes, since they have washer and dryer. They are very easy to communicate and thoughtful. We also got free treats upon arrival. The bonus is, it is actually my birthday, so they also surprised me with sweet gifts. Overall experience was amazing. We will give 10 stars for the host and the place if we can. I have lived here for nearly 2 years now and have met some really nice people. Dan Murphy's is within walking distance. Hospitals close by. Pub walking distance it has 5 star meals.

  • Debbie has been fantastic overall. I was hunting a place and she helped me overall finding an apartment, helping me with basic shopping. She is a very energetic lady and is up for helping everytime. I found the best company with her .when I was tired and wanted a couple of drinks. She also gives you space when you require that. We had movie nights, had dinner together, shared glasses of wine, and even went out to restaurants; it really felt like having a home away from home. Debbie is a happy, honest, and positive person. She always respected my personal space and was always kind to me. Her dog "Sparky" is a handsome fella, and he is very friendly. He would jump on my lap and cuddle while watching movies.     Welocome to this beautiful room in a renovated Edwardian home. Great location opp racecourse. 5 mins walk to station (city 15-20 mins, MCG/Tennis Centre 10-15 mins by train) & tram to St Kilda/Beach. Monash Uni 5 mins walk. Chadstone shops-10-15 mins by bus. Many cafes.
    Lovely large cosy room artfully styled and well appointed and comfortable. The house has polished floor boards except for bedrooms which have carpet. Home is warm and welcoming and filled with canvases reflecting Tams Sri Lankan heritage. Has a wide and eclectic selection of books and music available to guests.
    The Caulfield Racecourse is opposite. If you are an early riser, you can see the horses galloping along from your bedroom. The area is a quiet residential neighbourhood with mainly period homes. The racecourse can be accessed for walks except for race days. As the University is nearby, there is a diverse range of cafes and restaurants within an easy walk.

    Malvern East is one of most loved suburbs for Melbournian. Tree-line street and local loved cafe and restaurants are around.
  • The apartment was very neat, there was one part of the wall in the entry way which had caked on food on it, but the response from the host was very fast when I let them know about it. It was quite a bit smaller then I thought it was, the photos made it seem a bit bigger. A few odd little things, there was no toilet roll holder, we had to just sit it on the edge of the vanity, there was no glasses that we could find, only coffee mugs and there wasn't any towel racks, only a couple of hooks on the back of the door. The towels themselves were pretty thread bare hotel towels, mine actually had a 20cent sized hole, as was the bed linen. The bed, which I realise depends on the individual, but it was extremely hard. In the end the apartment was clean, heating was good, the location was pretty easy to navigate and the secure parking was good. The hosts were always quick to respond and offer help if needed.

  • This is a clean and modern apartment near to trains and trams so easy to access city and beaches at St. Kilda/Brighton etc. Keys easy to get. Supermarket 5 mins. Bottle store 2 mins. Big park (Caulfield) 10 mins. Short cut to trams across the highway - turn right and x at lights, go under rail lines. The road is noisy but the double glazing works. Plenty of space for 2.

  • We had a lovely stay at the property. The showers hadn’t been properly cleaned but other than that it was fabulous. The communication with the host was seamless and they were very helpful. One note for other guests is that you need to book at the concierge the day before if you want to use the spa/sauna. Spa was lukewarm but the sauna was fabulous!

It’s definitely not worth $60 per night, you can get a very cozy shared bedroom for $30 per night around Caulfield, I don’t recommend you to waste you money and time on this one.

  • Deborah was an awesome and kind host. The place itself was incredibly clean and Deborah supplies everything you need. It’s a shame the carpet in the hallways is really badly stained. The only other issue is that all three mattresses aren’t comfortable with springs sticking in your back. Perhaps Deborah isn’t aware and I didn’t mention it to her. Still, the place is so quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for younger travelers.

Downstairs is an open floorplan Lounge, Dining & kitchen. Walk in Pantry with everything you need to aid your perfect meal and a fully appointed kitchen with lovely crockery and cooking utensils. A full bathroom downstairs means that you can have full privacy on your trip, or enjoy a long soak in the bathroom upstairs. Master bedroom is a wonderful escape area where you can sleep, relax or read a book.
    The bedroom is upstairs and takes up the entire floor; about 9 metres x 4 metres and comprises a bedroom and study combination.
    The Dairy is amazingly convenient, with eight restaurants at the end of the street, and every other convenience just a few steps further. The tram is also a quick walk, offering quick trips to the nearby train station.

    The neighbourhood is steeped in history and together with the famous racecourse it provides a beautiful backdrop. We also love the many restaurants and eateries plus the easy public transport. It is also a very safe neighbourhood.
  • It was a cute and self-contained place, exactly as pictured. Although the place is close to the main house, we still had all the privacy we wanted. We mainly kept to ourselves but Joe was always there when needed. You will be able to hear little noises from birds on the roof but it is mostly peaceful and nice. Thank you for having us!

  • Very well situated. 10 minutes walk one way to a big woolworths, 10 minutes the other way to the train station, where you can catch a train into the city every 5-10 minutes. The room itself is very nice and secluded with your own internet, fridge, tv, shower and if you ask Miki or Joe they even let you use their laundry (and if you are lucky enough you get to pet Jazz, the friendly greyhound). Joe and Miki were very welcoming and always up for a good chat, if you are new to Melbourne and need any recommendations about good eats or things to see they'll be happy to help you out.

  • This place is cosy and welcoming. We arrived to candle light a bottle of red and lovely welcome note. Our host was very friendly and gave us all the info of the area. Joe made us feel very at home. Tea and coffee provided also. Our dog George was made most welcome and made friends with the resident dog jaz. If only the weather was warmer we would have made use of the lovely pool in the yard. The trains are just a short walk with some nice eateries near by. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

    Fully furnished apartment in beautiful Paxton Street. The rooms are a great sizes both with built in robes. Secure property with locked front gates and main door. There is Airconditioning/heating in the living room. Heating also in each bedroom. Our apartment it set up for airbnb with everything you need for your stay. Nespresso coffee machine included.   • Ali’s apartment in Malvern East is better than great! What an excellent find; Where to start?! This is a fantastic stay, superb location on a lovely leafy street in one of Melbournes best suburbs that is close to the City, Chadstone shopping mall and all the local dining treats in the immediate area! This apartment is spacious, has good natural light and has a great and very comfortable home away from home feeling. It’s fully renovated, in superb condition, very tastefully furnished, utterly clean and tidy and has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Add to that a solid (measured 50mbps) internet connection, cable TV with sports and all the movie / international channels, a well equipped kitchen with nice clean and new appliances and pans you can really use and you have a package that’s pretty hard to beat! Icing on the cake is a comfy modern sofa to relax on and finally Ali - the host is a dream to deal with - kind, diligent, extremely nice! You really can’t go wrong here and I would especially recommend for families and professionals alike. Thanks Ali and hope to stay again soon!

    THE SPACE The apartment is on level 1 and has a large open plan living and dining space with wall mounted TV and AppleTV as well as a sofabed to flexibly sleep an extra person or two in the living room. The sofabed is very comfy and sturdy and has storage inside where the pillows and duvet are kept. The kitchen has been recently updated with brand new appliances in 2019 including cooktop, oven and rangehood so you can cook a meal at home. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, microwave, small fridge / freezer as well as oven and cooktop with heaps of cutlery and crockery. BEDROOMS By the beds are lamps and power-boards to charge your devices. There are full length mirrors on both wardrobes with plenty of space to keep your clothes including hangers and shelves. The beds are both solid and comfortable pillowtop queen beds. The beds are made up with white, ironed, hotel quality linen and towelling with extra linen available for long stays on request. BATHROOM AND LAUNDRY The bathroom is freshly updated and includes organic soaps, shampoo and bath with overhead shower. The shower has strong water pressure and there is a hairdryer and ironing facilities if you're getting ready for a night out. There is a communcal laundry room but we have our own samsung washing machine that guests can use and we provide organic laundry liquid. NEIGHBOURHOOD Caulfield East is a very family friendly suburb with close proximity to the city, full of young and friendly folk that work and study nearby. It's very safe and with the CBD (inner city) only 20 minutes away it's very conveniently located for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle to a quiet inner city retreat such as this one.   • Very clean and rather large house which has had some remodeling (outside brick walls, kitchen, bathrooms, living room). We are a family of four and had plenty of space. Washer and dryer came in handy during our seven day stay. We used the kitchen as well and can report it in full working order. Parking a car was not a problem. A small car can park in the garage accessible via a lane in the rear of the property. Host also provided a parking pass for the ample street parking. Location was excellent and quiet. About 15 minutes walk to Caufield train station and a large Coles supermarket. There is a small IGA market on Waverley Road less than 8 minutes walk where there are also restaurants and cafe. The host made many good suggestions on local restaurants etc... The host, Rebecca, was responsive and quick with her actions. The street parking permit was missing when we arrived (previous guest might have left it hanging in their rental car by mistake), but Rebecca went to the local council and got a replacement the next day. These things happen so along with a clean house, you want a responsive host and I can say this place has both. Thanks for hosting our family.

    My home is a two-storey newly built house. My husband and I lives on the 1st floor. We'll share the main entrance but we have our own private space separated by a door. Each private bedroom on the 2nd floor is spacious with queen beds and big closet space. A toilet will be allocated for your private use. Its about 5-10minutes walk to Caulfield station, Monash University, tram stop going to city and buses to Chadstone shopping centre.

  • Rebecca’s place was much more than we expected and we LOVED having access to a kitchen packed with all the appliances you will need. The location was excellent for us (we drive around) and is also a 10min walk to the station to get to the city. You need to be aware that Rebecca hosts many other guests who may or may not have the same schedule as you so there could be bathroom waits in the morning or noises such as footsteps/talking/washing dishes at 1am. I recommend you bring earplugs to block out the noise. Otherwise, everyone is friendly (especially Rebecca herself) and respect each other’s privacy and we felt right at home during our stay. Thank you Rebecca for an enjoyable stay! 5 out of 5 from us 😊

The apartment is very clean and the most importantly make us feel like home away from home . It's really close to public transport, restaurants and shops.   • This is a great home to stay at. It was very convenient as it is located close to a supermarket, so instead of eating out and spending a lot, we can just cook in the comfort of the home. Although, there were days when we preferred to eat out and yet again, it is close to some restaurants. Going around Melbourne was very convenient since we were close to plenty of stops for public transportations, which makes it very easy to get around. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, going out of their way to make our stay a great one! Will definitely come back!
