My house is on a residential road. 1920s design. Comfortably furnished. On request guests may use the kitchen and garden. The room is newly decorated with new bed and a sunny outlook onto the residential road. There is off road parking. Wilmslow 10/15 mins walk. Manchester airport 5 miles. Alderley Edge 2 miles. Wilmslow and Alderley Edge have good shops and restaurants. Good motorway links to Manchester/Chester. Many walks nearby and peak district on doorstep.
I have lived here for 23 years and have made my house a real home. It is comfortable and cozy with modern amenities. It is close to motorways for easy access to Manchester, Chester and beyond. The airport is about 5 miles away and Wilmslow town centre has many good shops, restaurants and, soon to open, a unique cinema, The Rex. If you venture further there is Alderley Edge with again many cafes, restaurants and shops. There is also the wonderful Peak District for walking and exploring and a number of National Trust properties to visit. All this within a space of 10 miles. My home is a perfect place to relax in whether you have been exploring the sights, walking or working.
Wilmslow is a convenient location with its links to motorways, rail services and airport. Also it is within easy reach of beautiful countryside.
  • Sarah and her husband were great hosts, warm and welcoming, Sarah even brought a cup of tea up to my room on my arrival. The room is lovely, clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were a nice added touch. The house is spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s also a great location, only a little over a mile from the centre of Wilmslow, and well positioned to visit lots of surrounding areas.

    Laura2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely bright room, very clean and a comfortable bed. Made to feel very welcome by Sarah and she makes a great cup of tea! Would definitely recommend.

Everyone comments on how homely the cottage feels, you will have the entire run of the cottage, you can even pick your fresh herbs from the garden. It is only 5 minutes to the town centre, which has plenty of pubs, cafes and wonderful restaurants. There is even a small 250 seat cinema in the heritage centre! Just 5 minutes walk away is the River Bollin, this is a delightful walk, full of wild life and peace. You can walk to Prestbury in 45 minutes along the river!
It is unique because it is very quiet, yet close to the town centre. There is free parking and all amenities close by. There is a corner shop a minutes walk away and a Sainsbury 6 minutes walk away right next to South Park. Your dog is welcome, if you want to bring it along!
  • Great cosy cottage, plenty of parking. Great walks and activities nearby!

    Tom2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, cosy little place 5 minutes away from the centre. The stairs can be a bit tricky due to them being very steep and very narrow.

  • The most stylish, comfortable and accommodating Air BnB I’be stayed at. Check in was flexible which suited me perfectly after a long day of work. The hosts are chatty, warm, kind and will be sure to look after you. The room was stylish and the bed was SO comfortable! The little touches really did add to the experience (a magazine to read, plenty of refreshments available and a good stock of toiletries to use too). Breakfast was incredible with an amazing choice of food and drink! I highly recommend this beautiful home with really great hosts. Thanks again for a really special stay.

Cosy double bedroom in cottage with a view located in rural Cheshire East, at the foot of Jodrell Bank. Access to beautiful and peaceful gardens and woods for walks. The location combines rural peace and quiet whilst located near to Holmes Chapel, Jodrell Bank, Cranage Hall, Knutsford, Tatton Park, Northwich and only 10mn from J18 of M6. I will meet and greet the guests, show them their personal space and leave them to enjoy their stay whilst remaining nearby for any questions or queries.

Tea and coffee making facility is available all day in your private lounge where toasts/cereals breakfast will also be served in the morning. Wine glasses will be available in the lounge for chilling in the evening in front of the TV after a day out if the guests want to bring their own wine or beverages. There are local pubs with 2.5 miles of the BnB
This beautiful location is surrounded with farms and fields. The property holds sheep and chickens. A short walk to the back of the property takes you to a lovely pond and onwards to wooded walks.
  • Corinne is an excellent host and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. Breakfast every morning was most welcome and above and beyond what I would expect from an airbnb rental. The gardens around her beautiful home and utterly stunning!! She obviously has green fingers and a lot of love and hard work goes into making it look so beautiful. I'd stay with Corinne again in a heartbeat!

  • Corrine was a fantastic host. She’s got a beautiful home in an amazing setting and my stay was above what I expected. I look forward to returning

    Cyril2019-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Corrine’s place was outstanding, the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and we even had a downstairs lounge with tv to ourselves. Plus the breakfast in the morning was the finishing touch, so much so that we have already booked our next stay. Thank you very much

    James2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing stop over we had at Corinne’s beautiful cottage. We were sad it was such a flying visit. The rural farm setting is fabulous and Corinne was such a great host and really went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including a lovely breakfast spread in the morning before we hit the road. Thanks again Corinne!

  • A very pretty cottage, beautifully decorated and very clean, providing a real home from home where we felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. Sole use of the bathroom and lounge was lovely and we enjoyed the tea and coffee making facilities and excellent breakfast. Corrine is such a warm and friendly host with an amazing eye for detail. She was also kind enough to offer to drive us to the party we were going to. Fabulous!!!

    Sue2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely one night stay at Gayley Wood Farm. Comfy double bed and bathroom. Corrine was an excellent host.

  • What an absolute joy! So quiet and a great retreat. Corinne is very friendly yet unobtrusive. This charming cottage at the end of a lane at the top of Mill Lane (bear right when you reach Winterbottom Farm) is an absolute gem. I was surprised to have the use of my own lounge, and sole use of the bathroom. Quiet as anything. Light breakfast laid out. Wonderful surroundings, pondside walks, beautiful gardens, great views. Wow!

Edwardian family home on the edge of South Park. Visit the Silk Museum, Heritage Centre & Monthly Treacle (craft and food) market. 15 mins walk from Macclesfield station: 20 mins to Manchester Piccadilly: theatres, conference venues, Media City, and the Christmas Market. 3.5 miles from the Peak District - explore Tegg's Nose, Macclesfield Forest, Goyt Valley & Dovedale. Buxton (30 mins), Matlock & Bakewell (45 mins). Alton Towers (40mins). Jodrell Bank (25 mins). Chill Factore (45 Mins)
You will have amazing privacy, almost feeling like you are in your own little flatlet, and I have to admit, the shower in the wet room is fabulous; it's my preferred shower in the household! Additionally, our location is really convenient for the train station, town centre and South Park so it is possible to manage with out a car if the locations you wish to reach are in walking distance or easily commuted via taxi.
Ryle's Park Road is a residential road and is named after the Silk Merchant, John Ryle. Ryle's lake and surrounding park land dates back to the 1920s and was acquired on behalf of the people of Macclesfield from the Ryles family. He was adamant that the land should remain as parkland, and not be acquired for housing, To this day that covenant remains. We are thrilled that John Ryle ensured this requirement was put on the land, as we now have an amazing outlook on to the park, and the Peak District beyond, which will never be spoiled.
  • I stayed at Vivien's place for temporary accommodation until I find the long term house in Manchester. Vivien is very warming and very organised host. Bedroom is very clean and has modern LED lights. Room was very warm whole nights even I arrive at Vivien's place at snowy and very cold day. The amenities in bathroom are very high quality products and worth trying them! Shower is modern, very powerful and has comfortable temperature. Room has flat screen TV. Due to business demands, I have to wakeup, take shower and leave home very early in the morning. She kindly agreed me to do so. If people want the privacy, even the house has the different route to get in-out the house. There were plenty of space for parking. Overall staying Vivien's house is more than I expected, great value and highly recommended.

  • I arrived at 10.00 and left the next morning at 7.00 so I'm probably not the best judge, but from what I experienced, it was an excellent Airbnb house. Everything was exactly as described. Warm welcome, clean and comfortable accommodation. Absolutely nothing to fault and I would happily return. Having an en suite bathroom was perfect.

    Jonathan2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Vivien's home is beautiful, the guest room is cool, clean and has it's own en suite wet room, everything you need is catered for, towels, toiletries, beverages and breakfast, we would highly recommend staying at Vivien's home if you get the chance. We will definitely book in at Vivien's again in the near future.

  • A beautiful space & perfect location for events at Capesthorne Hall. Fantastic value booking & so peaceful. Approached by a very long drive and with a small but private and well contained garden, perfect for dog owners too. We had a lovely stay, despite being out at a festival being held at Capesthorne Hall for the majority of our stay, it was nice to have somewhere cosy to come back to.

  • We enjoyed our stay! The cottage was in a great location, close to a wedding we were going to at Mottram Hall nearby. It’s a lovely old building with beams and a fireplace, and was a really cosy place to stay. Beds were comfy and there was tea and coffee and milk left, which was a thoughtful touch.

  • Stayed for a month in Dan's place and fitted what I need very well. A good location for Macclesfield with great transport links to other areas. Dan was easy to communicate with and dealt with any queries/issues quickly and professionally. Amenities such as a shop and pubs are very near by and everything needed for a long stay was available in the property. Thanks again for letting me stay and good luck in the future.

  • We had a quick one night stay as we passed through visiting our daughter at Manchester Uni. Dan’s place has everything you would need and is very cosy with some great decor. We had our two boys with us (bulldogs) and the space was great for them with an outside area. We would hope to be back next time we are up.

  • Very lovely people and excellent communication

    Gabrielle2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Firstly it was honestly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Aziz and Tasmin were excellent hosts, they made sure I had everything I needed and more, they even arranged a space for me to leave my bike in the garage. A big plus was that with my own key and thing I was completely free to come and go as needed. They have a lovely house and Bramhall town is very charming with good connections and some lovely places to eat. Excellent stay for a great price, would definitely reccomend it.

    Christian2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic hosts!!!!! I would give 15 out of 5 stars. Lovely home, lovely people and made to feel so welcome. Very well organised. Nice touches. Good breakfast selection. You will want to move in permanently. If 5ft 10 or taller the shower height may be an issue but the rest outweighs that minus. They are super quiet around the house. Slept really well and felt like a queen in the gorgeous bed clothes and chunky duvet. I was there four nights to attend and perform a wedding. Tasmin helped me a great deal and I feel truly blessed to have chosen this airbnb. She’s kind, generous, smart and good fun. Azer also a sweetie and offered to give me a lift to Manchester when he was going as I had no car with me. 20 minutes walk to train station n less to local coop store n Indian restaurant/takeaway. Bramhall is a lovely leafy upmarket area. Do visit Bramall Hall and park. The most tudor building I have ever seen.

    Marta2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Azer and Tasmins place is like new. Everything is spotless and all you could need. Azer and Tasmin and both really nice and interesting people to chat with. I couldn't fault my stay at their house, they made me feel really comfortable and at home. The week just went far to quick, will be back again.

  • Azer & Tasmin have a beautiful house. I stayed for the week on a work contract and everything went very well. The room is great with a comfortable bed and large TV and coffee/tea/water/biscuits/kettle/etc. The kitchen was really well equipped. And Azer and Tasmin were very friendly and easy to get on with. The location is very quiet and its a peaceful area not too far from the centre of Bramhall. One of the best AirBnbs I've stayed so I can recommend.

  • Booked the room to stay whilst on placement in the area. The hosts were very accommodating and let me come and go as I wished, offering help as and where they could. The room was beautifully clean, super comfortable bed and large space to work in (with a desk and tv). Private bathroom with a great shower! As for the hosts, they left me to do my own thing but also were very friendly and chatty when I popped my head round the door to say hi. They were very easy to communicate with and looked after me - even put my toothbrush on charge for me as I had forgotten my charger! An added bonus is the beautiful welsh springer puppy I had the pleasure of playing with. I had an excellent stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book my stay here again if I need to stay in the area.

  • A very stylish home in the heart of Congleton with excellent facilities, a good shower, comfy bed, comprehensive breakfast and a charming couple as hosts. Although we only stayed for one night to attend a family occasion, we much enjoyed meeting James and Pat and they made us very welcome. We would definitely recommend this location.

    Diane2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place! I’m normally sceptical of “private rooms” as I like to have my own space, but our stay was great! We were visiting congleton to see friends so I was worried about being out late and disturbing people when we returned.. no squeaky doors or floors so hopefully no one heard us! The house itself is super stylish, warm, immaculately clean and a five minute walk away from the high street. The room we were in (loft) gives more than enough space, Comfy bed, lovely carpets.. so much more than we expected! Pat was so lovely, we will 100% be staying here again on our next visit to congleton

Right in the centre of Wilmslow we are renting out a double bedroom in a terrace house with lots of character. The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The house is situated within 4 minutes walking distance of the train station. Where trains run regularly to Manchester Airport, Manchester Centre and London Euston. We are a 10 minute drive from Manchester Airport.
We are more than happy for you to use all communal spaces. There is a television situated both in the private bedroom and the living room. We do not provide any food or drink for guests but please feel free to use the kitchen as long as you tidy away after yourself, we also have a dining room which you are welcome to use should you wish.
We are very close by to quite a few big local businesses. Royal London, AstraZeneca, Waters, Pareto Law and many more. Royal London have a mini bus service which collects and drops off at Wilmslow train station frequently. (4mins walk away)
  • Hosts were very accommodating, space was comfortable and inviting. Lots of nice little touches. Short easy walk from the train station and close to downtown. The only downside is that it's very close to a fairly busy road so could be a bit noisy if you liked to sleep with the window open as we do.

  • Great room in house one street back from all the bars and restaurants of Alderley Edge. Clean and stylish room with en suite and huge LED TV....great value

    David2019-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sean's Airbnb is located on the ground floor in a nice residential complex. The room has a very comfortable bed, fabulous large screen TV, a very handy inclusion of an Aircon unit and easy access to a large fridge near your room which made my stay in hot weather so good. Wonderful location of Alderly Edge Village with its proximity to the railway station, fabulous eateries, bars, supermarket are literally on the doorstep. Sean is very hospitable and recommended the Botanist where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine with a cool drink and watch the flash cars go by. I did and it was great, I got to chat to the locals, a good place to be. Thank you Sean you have a cool place.

    Paul2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Sean's house is really close to the railway station in Alderley Edge & the main drag with cafes & restaurants, shops, post office & a pub. It is a town house & the double room on the grohnd floor has a very comfortable bed, lots of clean white linen etc. Thoughtful touches include herbal tea as well as the usual tea & coffee & there is a fridge and spotless bathroom en suite. As guests we had the use of the kitchen if we wanted to cook ( we didn't - went out to eat). It's a very close drive to the beautiful Alderley Edge itself - a magical place that lovers of Alan Garner' s early books will remember. There are cheap car parks not far away. All in all a bargain & a great place to stay!

Flat 1, Charles Roe Chambers, is substantial. It is located in central Macc, a vibrant historic market town with thriving businesses 7 days/wk. The flat offers an emperor double bed, twin beds, a high quality metal frame sprung double sofa bed (no sofa bed compares to a full mattress but this is as close as we've found) and a well equipped living area that includes a 7' free play pool table, desk, dining table and kitchen. The next door Art Cafe provides 20% off breakfasts and lunches Mon - Sat.
My wife and I run the businesses in the next door property, offering finest cafe cuisine, functions and a private GP practice.
Macclesfield has a rich heritage grounded in the production of finished silk products. In addition to the Silk museum and next door Charles Roe House where daily tours are available, there are many excellent cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, a cinema (Cinemac org uk), monthly treacle market (treaclemarket co uk) and other local attractions to consider (visitmacclesfield co uk). As a gateway to the Peak District and Cheshire Plains, Macclesfield has breathtaking countryside, parks, rivers, canals, reservoirs and woodland all on its doorstep.
  • Amazing spacious apartment. Lovely and clean. Great central location to the town. Can't recommend highly enough. Kids loved the pool table too. Great communication throughout. 11/10 !

  • Great place to stay if you are ever in the area! The hosts are great and very quick with responding to messages. The flat was lovely, clean and had a spacious living area with a lovely kitchen. The bedrooms were a great size and the beds were really comfortable. The flat had everything we needed, even a utility room! It’s close to all local amenities and the train station isn’t too far either. Would definitely stay again!

    Lesley2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • I wish we could have stayed more!! The apartment is amazing!! The open space, the gigantic bed, the pool table, the chocolate mints on the beds! I mean...WOW!! And it is spotless!! Very good base for trips around the Peak District! Sometimes there are deliveries in the back of the building (5:30-6am), so if you're a light sleeper, would be worth to get some ear plugs, although I was fine once I closed the windows. Excellent stay!

    Loredana2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't fault the apartment. Great space, centrally located. Ian was very quick with his reponses and very helpful.

    Tom2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is a fantastic space and is so much bigger than it appears in the photos. The pool table is a great addition and we all enjoyed playing. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are all of a very good standard and the living space is very comfortable and we found it easy to relax there. As with any town centre location there is some noise from the streets outside, but this was minimal and didn't detract from our stay. The location is also great for visits to the Peak District which is a short car ride away or a shopping trip round Macclesfield town centre.

You will be delighted with our chic and modern one bedroom apartment with its own terrace and enchanted garden. Set within a quiet area in Wilmslow, our apartment is perfect for business travelers, couples and small families. We have a dedicated parking space, as well as free WiFi. Wilmslow town centre with all its stylish lively bars and elegant restaurants is a mere 20 minutes' walk through a lovely housing estate. Additionally, a Lidl, Tesco, chippy and pub are located a stone's throw away.
Our Cheshire Garden Apartment comprises a modern, newly refurbished one bedroom apartment located on the ground floor. Our apartment is a real home from home and is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We have summarised the property's amenities as follows: • Free wireless broadband • Dedicated off-road parking space to the rear of the property • New fully fitted kitchen including supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, oil, spread, jams or marmalade, cornflakes, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, plus a few other items. • Fresh linen and towels are provided including bathroom soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • Flat screen smart TV with Netflix • Hair-dryer • Iron & ironing board • Cafeteria • Washing machine & washing pods • Various books including cook books & pens and a pad Given that the property is located on the ground floor it is suitable for disabled people. We can provide a travel cot for your little one, if prior notice is given. Hire of the cot is £20 per stay, which includes bedding and towel.
Our apartment is uniquely located 10 minutes' drive from Manchester Airport, 20 minutes from Manchester city centre and about half an hour from the Peak District. Wilmslow town centre and railway station can be reached within 20 minutes by foot. The walk takes you through a lovely affluent housing estate and along the edge of Wilmslow Park. There are lots of fabulous restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs in Wilmlsow town centre. Our favourite pub where we can be found on most Friday and Saturday evenings is the Unicorn pub on Adlington Road (about 20 minutes by foot) - it's a great no-nonsense gastro pub with a menu of traditional British dishes and a family-friendly vibe. It has a great beer garden to the rear and Noah is a huge fan of their fish fingers, chips and beans. Another insider tip is The Cheshire Butcher and Farm shop on Lees Lane (5 minute drive). We get most of our fresh meat and produce from them and they never disappoint - a real gem! We highly recommend the homemade pies. Wilmslow Garden Centre is also a must during your stay (located on Manchester Road, within 5 minutes' drive). It is widely considered to be the best garden centre in Cheshire and has a great restaurant. If you are interested in discovering the area's history, we would recommend paying Quarry Bank Mill a visit. The mill is one of the best preserved cotton mills on the Industrial Revolution and allows visitors to understand the hardships faced by the workers who toiled in the mill, and uncover engineering genius at work. I visited for the first time on a school trip in 1995 and have returned many times since.

  • We had a lovely stay in Matt's comfortable and cosy flat. We couldn't have asked for a better host, Matt was really quick to respond and very helpful and really went the extra mile to help us feel welcome. There was a lovely welcome note when we arrived and there were loads of little extra touches in the kitchen and bathroom which were really appreciated and had everything we needed to make the place feel like a home from home. Highly recommended.

Welcome to Beartown Cottage, located just a stone's throw from the town centre but just far enough away to avoid any noise! Having just been renovated throughout, the cottage is perfectly placed for your visit to Congleton. The cottage gets its name from the town's nickname 'Beartown' as legend has it that the town's bible was sold to buy a bear! This is the perfect base to explore the history of the region!
A traditional 2-up, 2-down end of terrace cottage, it has a quirky shape which adds to its charm! On the ground floor, you will find an open plan style kitchen and living room. Upstairs you will find a good sized double bedroom, a single bedroom and a shower room. The kitchen/diner has everything you need for a comfortable stay with washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The property is located just a 2-minute walk from the town centre with all the local amenities you would expect from a thriving market town! There are several bars and restaurants well worth a visit!
  • Cathy was absolutely amazing, letting us stay at her home with such short notice. The place was absolutely spotless, cozy and with a great location. I would highly recommend.

    Vicki2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely stay at Cathy’s place. Cathy made us feel welcome upon arrival with milk in fridge and tea/coffee at hand. All the amenities that we needed were there and the house was lovely, clean, well decorated and welcoming. Cathy was also very prompt at returning our messages during our stay which was very efficient! A home from home! We would recommend and stay here again. Thank you :)

  • Cathy was a most helpful host and her cottage looked lovely and very clean, but sadly we had to cancel due to rain and the Horse Trials locally being cancelled at last minute. We hope to return in the future.

  • What a lovely Airbnb house. Well done Cathy for making the house such a great place for your guests to stay. It is clean, stylish, in a good location and the thoughtful extra touches such as tea bags and milk were much appreciated. I highly recommend staying here.

Welcome to the coolest pad in Macclesfield! 67 Roe Street is a much loved Macclesfield landmark. A stunning Georgian Townhouse built in 1770 - rebuilt, refurbished & reinvented 2017. You're welcome to use the huge lounge and light a fire in the original Adam's fireplace. There's an honesty bar too if you fancy a brandy before you wind your way up the fabulous Adam's staircase to the master bedroom with it's kingsize bed, romantic freestanding bath ensuite loo and basin
We're right in the centre of Macclesfield and just a two minute walk from the bus station and 10 minutes from the train station. Astra Zenica has a private bus from the train station. Special rates apply for photo shoots, film hire and events Groups of up to 30 people by arrangement. Guest interaction As much or as little as you need. I am usually only a few minutes away so can help with any problems. But otherwise, you'll be given complete privacy. Neighbourhood overview 67 Roe Street was the home to the son of Charles Roe, the clever silk merchant who built most of Macclesfield's beautiful and impressive civic buildings at the time of the silk trade boom. Macclesfield is fast becoming the latest hip place to live in Cheshire. The town centre is packed with bars and places to eat. The Treacle Market every last Sunday of the month is a real treat too. The perfect stop off before heading out into the Peak District National Park, or heading down to London or up to Manchester. Also 10 minutes into Alderley Edge with its super glam places to see and be seen! Getting around Bus and train stations are just a few minutes walk from the house Frequent trains to Manchester and London Local taxis. Off road parking for 2 cars Other things to note Please be considerate of our lovely neighbours and keep noise down after 11pm Look after our beautiful floors by removing stiletto heels at the door. Sorry but no sex or food on the velvet sofa please. Enjoy the house as much as we do ...
Macc is just getting better and better. It has a nice pedestrianised town centre where you can get most things. There are lots of bars and restaurants popping up. My favourite place to eat is Saltbar which is a Scandi restaurant with a changing menu. Really warm and friendly service. There are lots of bars and some good shops too. Just one minutes walk from the house is the most charming little cinema . It's worth going just to see the building. The council have just added pretty lights to lots of our town centre trees which are going to be up all year round. Let me know what you have planned and I'll see if I can think of anything that would really suit you.
  • We couldn't have asked for a better expirence. The room was incredible, the host was super friendly and provided us with everything we needed and more! Thanks again!

  • Laura’s place was an amazing place to stay, the design and decor has been lovingly put together and is really striking. We had never done an air bnb where we didn’t rent the entire place but this wasn’t a problem here it was really interesting to meet the other guests. Laura was warm and friendly with excellent communication. Would highly recommend this place.

    Kellie2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Laura's home was very nicely accommodated, spacious and comfortable. The common areas were very enjoyable with the fire place and nice couches. The bedroom was clean and large. If in town again, I would definitely stay there again

  • Incredible place to stay and a wonderful expirence!

    Cameron2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great house and room. Laura very helpful. Enjoyable stay all round.

    Aidan2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • The property wasn’t quite close to where I was going to stay but when I saw the photos and the reviews I decided to drive an extra 10-15 km just for the sake of the experience. This was definitely worth the extra trouble. Both Laura and her daughter are greatly hospitable and warmly welcoming people. The place is just gorgeous. For a night I lived a totally different lifestyle back in 18th century. Absolutely recommended. I will certainly go back anytime I’m in the area.

    Mehdi2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Laura's house is a great place to stay in Macclesfield. The decor is fabulous and the house is very well equipped. We loved having the big bath in the room. Sadly we didn't get to meet Laura in person but communication beforehand as was excellent. Highly recommended all round.

    Paul2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Laura was such a wonderful, relaxed and friendly host and her home was absolutely beautiful. She was very accommodating with my last-minute booking, checking in was absolutely seamless and she was always available if needed. We stayed in both the double and master bedroom and both were warm, clean and very comfortable - all of the spaces, including the lounge and kitchen, were incredibly stylish and the bath in the master bed was a dream. Roe Street (which comes with its own free parking) is right in the centre so very convenient for amenities and for day trips to Manchester (around 1 hour) or further afield. It was the happiest and most magical of stays and I really hope to find a reason to come back again soon.

  • Lizzies place is lovely, with really comfy beds, a lovely room and a lovely bathroom (better than my own! ). Lizzie herself was lovely too, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. It was a perfect place for us to stay. We drove, parked easily enough once we had found the place which took a few minutes.

  • Very nice and relaxing little cottage. Beautiful part of the UK. Absolutely lovely owners. Thank You Brian and Judy

    Maq2016-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived very late in the evening after a lengthy drive. Had considerable difficulty finding the cottage, but this is largely because I misplaced the directions! Finally found the drive and was greeted warmly by the two pups (holding a slipper no less) and the owner. Very lovely fellow who took us to the cottage, showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Delightful little cottage...charming. Sadly we were there no more than about 12 hours and then had to catch a flight out of Manchester. Very close to the airport in miles, but miles away in stress. We so wishes we could stay longer to enjoy the garden.

  • Judy and Brian were amazing hosts. They were very welcoming and provided us with a great tour of the beautiful cottage. They provided fresh eggs daily from their own chickens. They made us feel at home from the very outset. Their dogs were also very lovely and friendly. Overall we had a fantastic stay and strongly recommend a visit to this beautiful cottage.

    Jordan2019-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the chicken house. Judy and Brian were really helpful in recommending walking routes and things to do. We went on some lovely walks in the area as well as to 'the salt line' a little further afield. We also enjoyed a visit to Jodrell Bank which was really interesting. Judy and Brian's cats and dogs were so friendly and we enjoyed watching the chickens and sheep from our window. The fresh eggs and croissants added a special touch to our trip and the inside of the cottage was really comfortable and cosy. Thanks, Judy and Brian!

A luxurious, stylish apartment perfect for couples, business travellers and small families.

  • Just returned from a wonderful few days in Cheshire staying at the Coach House, Wilmslow, a comfortable, well appointed studio apartment 2 mins drive from the town centre. The accommodation has been thoughtfully put together with luxurious touches such as Egyptian cotton bedding and Neal’s Yard toiletries available for guest’s use. The shower features a rainfall shower head as well as standard one and other nice to haves were a coffee machine and mini bar/ fridge stocked with beer, wine and soft drinks. French windows and leather armchairs made the perfect spot to sip some of the prosecco on offer. The host, Sylvia, was welcoming, helpful and on site should any problems occur. Wilmslow has plenty of lovely restaurants and we enjoyed Thai, Italian and Indian meals all of which were excellent. I would definitely recommend the Coach House as a place to stay.

Only niggle was no tea bags ( We are British we are obsessed with tea ;) luckily we bought loads with us ha) , but otherwise fab for the price and would stay again for sure.
