  • Great communication. He answered any questions I had even while at work quickly. Everything was exactly as advertised. It is a nice place and I would stay again.

  • We had a fantastic stay at fernando's. He went beyond our expectations in providing amenities and a comfortable place for us to stay. All directions and communication made it such a breeze to come and go from the accommodation. Treme is such a beautiful neighborhood, and we were over joyed that Fernando's place allowed us to be close to all that we experienced in New Orleans.

    Freya2016-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Fernando was excellent with his communication. Description of accomodation and location was perfect. We had a great time.

  • The house is in a great location. For those who want to earn their new orleans food calories, walking to the quater is a breeze and just a mile away. The Zulu social club is right at the corner. The men who attend the club are friendly and will point you in the direction of good neighborhood eats. Willie Maes scotch house is on the same street 4 blocks up. This place is worth it for the person coming to town for culinary and real cultural experience.

  • Excellent location if you'd like to be in a quiet, residential neighborhood (Tremé) that's a quick bus ride to the French Quarter. Also a short walk to Whole Foods and the Canal streetcar. Perfect size for three couples -- or three people who'd each like their own comfy, queen-sized bed. Kitchenette. Great bathroom.

    Melissa2017-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, awesome house. Creative use of space, very comfortable for a quick weekend trip!

    Sarah2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect host and a very clean and cozy space. Definitely, recommend it to all New Orleans visitors.

  • Coco was an attentive and perfect host. The Gold room was exactly what we needed during our weekend stay in NOLA: an artsy & very comfortable haven only a few miles from the French Quarter and in a quiet neighborhood. We took full advantage of the bicycles that were provided, a most welcome bonus (we were able to use bicycle-only lanes along most major streets, making New Orleans one of the most bike-friendly cities in the U.S.). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Patrick2013-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew was kind and flexible. He kept my suitcase after the check-out. His guide book is very helpful. I had wonderful days in New Orleans because of it.

    Kaori2015-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda and Andrew were absolutely amazing! When they did not hear from me the first day, they sent me a quick text just to check in and make sure that all was ok! It was very much appreciated and I will definitely stay with them again in the future. Thanks for everything!

    Amanda2014-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was absolutely lovely! Cozy, charming, really clean. I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

    Sara2016-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Air conditioning was appreciated.

    Jeannie2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • New Orleans is an incredible, lively city and staying at Coco & Andrew's mirrored the city perfectly. It's wild, colourful, impactful, lively and full of love - the BEST way to end our Southern Road trip. We don't want to give too much away about this place, as it is something you MUST experience - however, We will say this : when we visit New Orleans again, we would 100% stay here. And only here. ANNNNND the free bikes kick ass.

    Brandon2013-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew's home was so cute and comfortable! We felt safe in the area and were close to everything we wanted to see! Directions were very clear about check-in & check-outs, plus Andrew was easy to get in touch with! Would stay there again for sure!

    Kaitlyn2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is the greatest spot. I stayed in the Gold Room. Way cheaper than the other place I stayed in New Orleans, and also nicer - the other place didn't have Wifi and there was cat hair on everything (I'm allergic). Only met Andrew, but he was very attentive and friendly, didn't have time to make use of the free bikes but free bikes there are. Air conditioner in room, fast internet, super funky and interesting decor. Jesus and poop decorations in bathroom. Golden canopy bed with silk sheets - very romantic. Great location, everything about this place is great.

This residence is owner occupied. I work a standard M-F schedule and sometimes work away from home. I want guest to be aware that I may or may not be at the residence during your stay. The house does have a security system and is equipped with a surveillance system. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • This place was great for my boyfriend and I. It's newly renovated and has a great location (3 miles from the French quarter). Uber costs about 10 dollars. Great for a weekend stay. Would definitely recommend!

  • Sweet place and awesome host.

    Kyle2019-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean! We had towels and water bottles set up in our room. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in for an Airbnb. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place close to local breweries or a short Uber to super-dome and French quarter.

    Camillo2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Charles is an excellent host. The entire process was thorough from start to finish. He had everything we could have wanted and needed and more. Bed was extremely comfortable, space was clean, super sweet dog, and just an overall great experience. We can't say enough good things about him and could go on forever. We can guarantee you'll have a great stay at his house.

  • Clean house, Charles was there to greet us and was very friendly. Just FYI the bathroom is not en suite, but it was right next door to the room and fully stocked with amenities!

Guest area features private bedroom and bath with its own private entrance. Only 2 miles from the French Quarter by streetcar. Enjoy complete privacy in the guest space or visit with the hosts as you desire. Additional bedroom is available for groups traveling together or families traveling with children. Please discuss your group's needs with the host. New Orleans license number is 17STR-06526.
Private bedroom and bath in our charming shotgun house just off the Canal Streetcar line only 2 miles from the French Quarter. Guest area features private entrance, lovely patio, beautiful antique furnishings, 11-foot ceilings, petite chandelier, comfortable and clean queen bed, and cozy guest robes. Internet, cable TV, parking, oscillating fan, iron, music player, white noise machine, hairdryer, fridge, coffeepot, crockpot, and snacks are provided. The space has a peaceful, airy feel and is flooded with natural light. This listing is unique in that you have complete privacy from the main house. The guest space has its own exterior door, and you are free to come and go as you please. The garden path leading to your room features motion-activated lighting if you are returning after dark. The room is located down the garden path in the rear of the house. A second bedroom is available for groups, so the space can be made to accommodate 1-4 people. We welcome special requests and will make every effort to assist with needed recommendations. We can also provide a travel crib and other baby items if you wish to travel with your childen. We love hosting guests for honeymoons, anniversaries, and other special events. Our home is located in the historic Mid-City neighborhood, which was one of the first neighborhoods to spring back after extensive flooding due to Hurricane Katrina. Mid-City is located, as the name indicates, in the middle of New Orleans on what was once the backslope of the Mississippi River natural levee. Our home was built around 1910 and is a typical New Orleans-style shotgun house. In New Orleans at the time of construction, the shotgun house utilized a minimized lot frontage, on which taxes were based. The houses were also built without hallways and closets, which would have been counted as rooms for tax purposes. The origin of the building style and the name itself may trace back to Haitian influences on New Orleans, as many Afro-Haitian slaves lived in this area. Our house was recently featured on the HBO series "Treme", as the law office of the character Toni Bernette (played by Melissa Leo) and also as part of the interior of the home of Creighton Bernette (played by John Goodman). Guests are free to have complete privacy or to meet with the host as desired to obtain recommendations for food, drink, and attractions. Check-in is offered via a lockbox. Rates may vary during special events and holidays. Our home is located just off the parade route for Endymion, the largest parade of Mardi Gras. The festival grounds for Jazz Fest are just over 1 mile away.
Mid-City is a diverse neighborhood with its own distinctive flavor. Bars and restaurants in this area are largely patronized by locals, so the neighborhood provides an escape from the more touristy areas of the city, while still allowing easy access to the French Quarter via the Canal Streetcar Line.
  • The hosts set out some snacks and wine glasses on the little table on the way in. The place was clean and super cute!

    Brent2016-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay. Our room was beautiful and Erin was very helpful with information on how to get around and what to see. We had no trouble with the Streetcar and bus transportation. Loved this property would definately stay again!!!

    Lisa2013-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Erin was a fabulous host, very personable. The shotgun house was very clean. Simple elegance is the best way to describe our room. She had some nice touches (chocolate, snacks, beverages, great bath products). Being our first time with airbnb, we thought the area was pleasant, easy access to streetcar (2 blocks) which makes it easy to the French Quarter. Staying at Erin's definitely gives you a good feel of being part of the culture of New Orleans.

    Kevin2013-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time in NOLA staying at Erin's "Ride the Streetcar" private room and bath. The home is beautiful and the room and bath well appointed and with plenty of space. We enjoyed having the mini fridge, with refreshments and snacks. The bed was extremely comfortable and we rested well. We parked our car, and never used it again during our stay. The streetcar access was perfect and allowed us to travel around the city with ease. Be sure to buy a jazzy pass as this made the travels so much easier. We also enjoyed two wonderful tours during our stay. The first being Southern Style Tours. We took the streetcar to the Marriott and were picked up at the hotel for about a 3 hour tour taking us through the French quarter, the ninth ward, Metairie cemetery and the garden district stopping for photos and at a coffee shop with great beneigets. We also did a walkingTaste Bud tour with David Thomas stopping for great NOLA treats (included in price) and learned more about other restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend all!

    Kathy2015-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful host! I've stayed at Erin's a few times before - I'll definitely be back.

    Angelica2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first airbnb experience and my stay at Erin's was great. There was a separate entrance for my room and instructions to get the key were very simple. The room and bathroom was very clean, modern, and comfortable. There was a section with a minifridge that had a coffee maker, complimentary drinks, a hangover kit, cups, and little snacks. The bathroom had towels and all shower needs. I loved staying here and if I am ever in New Orleans again, I would stay here!!! Thank you for an awesome visit!

    Christina2016-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second Air BNB and we were thoroughly impressed. The location was perfect and the room itself was so cozy, well prepared and clean! We were left with some tasty treats and drinks from the host and if we needed anything Erin and Greg made us feel comfortable enough to ask. I cannot stress enough, if you visit NOLA you HAVE TO stay at this air BNB. It's a truly positive experience!

    Gabriel2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a cute and cosy place! They had a nice patio; we were in close walkin distance to the streetcar stop as well as one of our favorite breakfast places, The Ruby Slipper! We definitely recommend this airbnb if you want quiet, comfortable, and clean!

  • The apartment was just as the add stated, beautiful and perfect for our needs! The space was exceptionally clean and the host allowed us to check in early due to a scheduling mishap. We felt extremely comfortable in the space. It was also a close walk to the bus and just a bit farther to the streetcar, which made traveling the city very accessible. Thanks!

We have an incredible place for you to enjoy while staying in New Orleans! We have stocked the room with high quality bedding and towels plus other amenities. The set up is a private room that is closed off to the main house. It has a private entrance and private bathroom and access to the front porch and backyard. The location is between 5-10 minutes from I-10, French Quarter, Tulane’s Campus, Uptown, Jazz Fest Fairgrounds, and the Mardi Gras parade routes! Uber anywhere in the city for $10-12
The suite consist of a bedroom and bathroom. Along with the obvious essentials a bathroom has, you will have a mini refrigerator and microwave large enough to store some left over boxes and drinks. Don’t plan on cooking your own gourmet meal in this city, we let our professionals do it for us! And if you need any recommendations finding some, we are glad to give you some great suggestions. The bedroom has one queen sized mattress and a full size inflatable mattress that can be used if needed. The bed sheets and towels will always be clean for each guest and for longer stay guests, we would ask you to please let us know your needs and we will be sure to accommodate. The room is comfortable as we put only things in it that meet the quality and comfort we expect in our own room.
The location is conveniently located in the city. We are 2 miles from Interstate 10 (our main corridor), 3 miles from French Quarter (where our notorious “party your ass off” Bourbon Street is located, as well as the Aquarium, Casino, WWII Museum, world class restaurants galore, and numerous other attractions), 1.5 miles away from Tulane’s Campus, 2.5 miles from Magazine Street’s plethora of New Orleans boutiques, vintage shops, restaurants and antique shops, and 3 miles away from The Fairgrounds, known for hosting the Jazziest Fest in the world plus horse races too. If you are thinking you might need some tranquil relaxation after all those activities I’ve got good news. We are only 2 miles from Audubon Park and 3.5 miles from City Park- both offer breathtaking views of centuries old oak trees. OMG, did I fail to mention, that, with the exception of maybe elementary schools, open alcohol containers are permitted just about everywhere!
  • Great spot on in beautiful house. Convenient to the quarter and super amazing host!!!

My 1936 double is not in the French Quarter but it is in the center of the NOLA Metro area By car you can get anywhere in at least 10 minutes; that's City Park, Mid-City, the French Quarter, the Morial Convention Center, Tulane Univ. and Audubon Park, Lake Ponchartrain, the Westbank, Magazine and Julia St. as well as Metarie! Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids) are all welcome. This is a clean and comfy entire apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The space is open and airy. It has lots of natural light. You have access to the front porch as well as the backyard patio. There is a basically equipped kitchen if you would like to cook.
The neighborhood is quiet yet located right in the middle of the 'crescent' of the Crescent City! MY HOUSE IS NOT IN OR NEXT TO THE FRENCH QUARTER! The Quarter is at least a 10 minute drive away and I am happy to let you know where to park down there; just ask! My husband and I bike to work in the French Quarter everyday and find it takes about 20 minutes to bike there. Walking might take you an hour. My neighborhood is quiet and residential. Please, please, please do not block ANY driveway. Please make sure that your vehicle is parked at least 3 FEET away from any driveway. You have a designated spot on the street in front of the ABB listing but if it is taken please park legally in another spot. Thank you!
  • A clean and comfortable space (HUGE to boot in our eyes!) that met the criteria we needed for New Orleans. Crys was quick to respond, helpful in providing information about the space and the area and provided just the right few extras (snacks, 1/2 & 1/2, etc.) that helped us to totally enjoy our stay!

    Roberta2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cry's place is cozy, super comfortable and It has all the necessary items for a great stay. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet and parking is not a problem at all. We definitely recommend Crys and Lalo's house!

    Laura2019-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • This space is large, impeccably clean, and had everything we needed and so many things we didn’t think we needed. This apartment was our oasis during a very hot and sticky long weekend, and Crys’ hospitality and attention to detail was unmatched. I highly recommend both this apartment and staying with Crys!

    Claire2019-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing host who responds quickly to messages and makes herself very accessible to her guests. The place is great—lots of space in the dining/living room areas, a fully stocked kitchen, and 2 bedrooms. The place is very clean and the host has added many thoughtful touches throughout the home. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!

    Michelle2019-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • You will want for very little when you stay here. The apartment is very cozy, the amenities are tremendous, and the hosts are outstanding! The location is great for anywhere you want to go - the parking was even easier than we expected. Truly a gem of the city!

    Anthony2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Crys’s place was great, a perfect way to experience New Orleans! Tucked away from the noise of the French quarter, but a short drive or Lyft ride away. We did the Bourbon Street, of course, but also enjoyed the beautiful botanical gardens and the local farmers market, both a 15 minute drive away. There is everything you need in the apartment, plenty of parking upfront and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We felt like locals by the end of our stay, my husband and I took walks around the neighborhood and even found a little local bar, Rendon Inn. Great food all around the area too and plenty of menu suggestions in the apartment. The neighborhood cat brigade was endearing, one guarded my car for our entire stay:) Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you for your amazing hospitality, we will be back!

    Maria2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful and Crys was very responsive to any needs I had. A quiet neighborhood not too far from French Quarter!

    Tina2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • This charming home was above what we expected. It is full of character, spacious, clean and in a prime location to lots of fun all around the city. It truly has everything you need and Crys always made sure we were comfortable and happy. We hope to be back someday!

Our Mid-City private unit is 1 block off Canal St and the street car, walking distance to City Park and several other amazing local neighborhood bars and restaurants. A 5-10 minute drive to downtown & FQ or walk a block to the streetcar stop Some notable amenities-Full kitchen, central air/heat, WiFi, LCD television & Cable, Washer/dryer, full bath. Living amenities: Queen bed, futon, linens, towels & washcloths, pots/pans & dishes and basic necessities like toilet paper and paper towels.
Completely renovated half of a "shotgun double" (essentially a duplex for those not familiar with New Orleans), about 650 sq/ft. Our home was built in the early part of the 20th century (c. 1906). Through our renovation, we took extensive measures to maintain the historic nature of our home and fuse with modern conveniences.
Mid City is a great part of town to spend your time in New Orleans because it's roughly a 10 minute drive to just about any tourist attraction you might enjoy (e.g. in the French Quarter, CBD or Uptown). It's a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, and also has some of the best places to eat and visit for entertainment in the city. There's always street parking in front of or near our house if you bring your car, which is safe to leave and there is no cost for parking.
  • My wife and I had a great time on our first visit to NOLA and first time using Air BnB. The unit was exactly how it was described, clean, modern, great local and easy access to public transportation. Glen was very communicative and we went to a few of his restaurant recommendations, which were awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in New Orleans!

    Samuel2017-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn and Claire are such wonderful hosts. They are prompt with responses, and truly helped make our honeymoon special! They were knowledgeable about local restaurants and had some great suggestions ready for is when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom were immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was right off of a main New Orleans street, and the French Quarter was readily accessible by Uber and streetcar. We really called it "home" for the duration of our stay. We didn't want to go home! My husband and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. You would be amiss not to stay here when you visit New Orleans!

    Brenna2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn was an awesome host! Extremely helpful in all aspects - gave us multiple lists of places to check or for live music, food, etc., offered to pick things up from the grocery store for us, extremely flexible about check-in/check-out. Airbnb was in a great neigborhood with plenty of local spots to check out but also only a short uber ride to French quarter and other exciting scenes! Would definitely recommend Glenn's place!

    Melissa2017-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Probably my best stay since I first started visiting New Orleans! Pictures don't capture the modern beauty of this space. Thank you for a great stay! Safe, secure, prime location, quiet yet central, everything one wants in a travel space. Great for couples too! They even had NFL Sunday Ticket... smh doesn't get much better than that!

    Rasean2016-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • The location of Mid-city is perfect as it is minutes from the trolley service and some good places to visit such as the New Orleans city park, the Katrina memorial and a few places for good eats. The airbnb was well kept and as beautiful and spacious as advertised. Glenn was very good about communicating with us to make sure we were doing well. Check in and check out were painless.

    Gavin2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Clean , comfortable bed and up to date decor with accommodating hosts

    Ellen2017-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and host! Will stay again!

    Stanley2018-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very clean! The living room furniture is basic and not the most comfortable, but we didn't have need for it anyway. The bed is soft and comfy. The neighborhood is quiet and only one block walk to Canal St streetcar. We walked to Katie's in Mid City (about 10-12 blocks down Bienville) and had a lovely dinner. Glenn was an excellent host and replied quickly to all communication. The home has an alarm system which made me feel very safe. I would definitely book this place again!

  • This is the 2nd time we've stayed with Ryan, everything went great! We will definitely keep this place in mind on our next trip to NOLA.

    Lauren2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The purple house was so clean and so comfortable, I didn't want to return to my own place! Ryan was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Great location if you want to be in close proximity to Tulane's uptown campus, and there was plenty of parking.

    Jillian2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great house--the age added charm to the space, which was super clean and very well-equipped for any traveler. The bed in the master bedroom is comfy, and the location of the property is convenient to everything from public transportation to restaurants to nightlife. Ryan was very responsive and the check-in process was seamless. I highly recommend!

  • Place was as described. Located close to New Orleans French Quarter - tourist area. Convenient for anyone that plans on visiting there. Host had great communication, was quick to respond.

    Kevin2017-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This home is exactly as described and reviewed by customers! It has a wonderful front porch and back patio. Plenty of street parking, easy access to the street car for travelers with no vehicle and main roads for those that do... and tons of local restaurants and convenience stores around. I personally loved my morning jogs down Audubon St. towards Tulane University, around the local blocks and back. We found an awesome breakfast/lunch spot called Refuel and a Latin Cafe for dinner right next to it called La Macerana Pupuseria! Both were fantastic and all about fresh cooked meals. The latin cafe does not serve alcohol but you can bring your own! Back at the house, we found we used the front and back porch a ton in the morning and in the evening and were exactly why we chose the home. The beds were super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom had ample space and a great shower. The owners are super nice and very responsive to your needs.

    Amos2018-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • The Purple House was just what I needed for a nice, relaxing trip to Nola. It was cute, clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood. The road noise was negligible and didn't interfere with my sleep. I'm happy to have chosen it and would definitely stay again.

    Erin2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • The purple house is awesome! Almost has a beach house feel that I miss from California. The front porch was amazing for keeping out the mosquitos while I enjoyed sitting outside.

    Brett2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in New Orleans. Easy access to the St Charles streetcar. Uber to the French Quarter and almost all main sights was around $15 or less per trip. I recommend that over renting a car. No parking hassles and plenty of drivers nearby. We never waited more than 3 minutes.

  • I had a great time at this hostel. Very clean, unique space and helpful, supportive and engaging staff. Hostel has evening outings if you're looking to go to the bars with a group of people instead of going solo. All of the other folks at the hostel we're friendly and very open about their travel tips. I'll check in again next time I'm in town!

  • It was my first time staying at a hostile, it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, location was great for a quick walk to all the action that is NOLA. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Matthew2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! I would stay here again in a heartbeat

    Connor2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • City House Hostel was awesome! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and the place was clean, plus they added nice touches like providing towels, coffee, and nightly activities for the guests. The location is walking distance to a bunch of cool spots in the French Quarter too. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely recommend it!

    Becca2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for a place to rest your head to help you continue on with your travels this is a nice place to consider. There seemed to be a trusting community of staff and travelers. I was traveling solo and the 24 hour reception made me feel alot safer knowing someone was always there.

    Naomi2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is AWESOME can't wait to return

    Leigh2019-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great. It was my first time staying in a hostel. The people are friendly. The location is walkable to everywhere, right by burbon and literally right off canal. I took the bus from the airport then walked 3 blocks. I highly recommend!!!!

    Adriana2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time staying at a hostel so of course I had my reservations. But seeing so many other positive reviews online I said what the hell. Not only did this wildly exceed my expectations, but now I want to stay at Nicholas' other properties in Philly as well as my own city of Washington DC when I host friends. SUPERB!! I will exclusively be staying at this hostel whenever I'm in NO in the future and I even introduced the location (since I couldnt stop raving about it) to some local friends who told me they are going to use it/book it when THEIR friends come to visit - paying it fwd. SOLID! Pros - LOCATION, 3 min walk to Bourbon St, 35 second walk to Ruby Slippers GREAT BREAKFAST FOOD. VALUE. You simply can't beat the price. Although for private rooms there may be other options around the city. Personally I did the bunk bed situation and met new friends from London, Russia, Kansas and Wisconsin. It was very, very cool Cons - please do not leave any food out! This is a house rule. I left my tea out in the common area for an hour to steep (forgot about it) came back 2 hours later and it was gone, cup cleaned and put up....now that I think about it this is actually a PRO lol.

My downstairs home is walking distance to Jazz and Voo doo Fest, 4 blocks from the public street car system (5 mins from downtown, 3$ day passes), and a 2$ direct bus trip from the airport (30-50 mins). This 9'x14.5' private bedroom has a queen size bed and private closet. This Bedroom also has a personal lock if you so chose. There will be a maid service once a week to keep things clean, but sheets and towels are changed between guests.
My spare bedroom of my 2bd1b is perfect for a business traveler or a couple not looking to pay a fortune for a trip to New Orleans. It is 4 blocks from the street car and I am centrally located in a quite neighborhood (mid-city). I am also located on the bus route from the airport. 2$ direct route.
Neighborhood is safe with many bars and restaurants that are within walking distance. Recommendations are in the resource binder.
  • Eric's place is perfect for an affordable stay in NO. His place is right on the line for the cheap bus to the airport (pretty infrequent, make sure to check the timetable in advance) and the trolley line into central NO (cheap and frequent, even at night). He provided food and coffee for us for breakfast which makes the mornings so much quicker and nicer. The place is clean and well equipped for a couple to stay in the spare room. We thought staying in someone's place with them might be awkward, but Eric is really nice and wasn't around much anyway. Didn't feel awkward at all. Really great place to stay if you're on a budget. Thanks Eric!

    Holly2019-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Eric was a wonderful host! He was super friendly and gave a lot of helpful information about the area. His place is cozy with all the amenities you could ask for! Definitely will stay here if I'm back in NOLA again!

    Xiao2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Eric's place is cozy and homely. My stay was very comfortable.

    William2019-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Eric’s place was great. Easy to get to from the airport and easy to find. We had an issue with the lockbox and when we called Eric, he picked up immediately and we were able to get right in. Actually left my watch at the Airbnb after checkout and Eric called us immediately. Great stay and great brunch places around the corner.

    Reid2018-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Eric's place is great, it is clean and very well located, just a quick tram ride away from the main tourist areas. The neighborhood is nice and feels pretty safe by NOLA standards. We slept very well here and Eric is a very good host offering lots of good insight on the city and great conversations too. We'd stay here again 100% if we ever come back!

    Thomas2018-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • Eric’s place was just as it was advertised. Bed was nice and room was a good size. Shared bath was nice, a tad tight. He let us use the washer and dryer too. Only thing I wasn’t aware of is there are also BNBers in the space above you. I was awoken by them both nights coming home late at night, but my husband never heard them. Would stay again, very affordable.

    Jill2018-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Eric’s place was just as described. Only got to meet him briefly as he was working a lot and I was out touring a lot. The location was great, equidistant from Canal St streetcar and Broad St bus. Pro-tip: download the Blue Bikes app if you enjoy biking, they are widely available and, at least in the daytime, New Orleans is quite a bike friendly city. I enjoyed Mid—City and won’t hesitate to rent from Eric again.

    Dave2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Good place to stay, not far from the direct tram stop connecting to the city center. Eric helped us a lot with dropping backpacks before check in, thank you!

  • This is a great place to stay ! It's on a nice secure area .. the apartment was immaculate and our host is very generous in leaving information on things to do and places to eat ... he left snacks and drinks for us .. this host goes above and beyond !!! Thank you Louis!!

    Rosetta2017-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Louis was great! His apartment was everything my fiance and I were looking for and more. And his hospitality was far beyond what I expected!

    Kelly2018-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing!!! Great location to travel by streetcar to the center. There are a lot of stores and restaurants just a few blocks away. The bed was super nice and there were a lot of snacks and drinks. More towels than we could count. Having a washer and dryer was heaven. We are already making plans to go back to NOLA and book with Louis again!

    Marijn2018-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Louis’s place was very clean and welcoming. It was a perfect place for my husband and I for a weekend getaway. It had a full kitchen with a fridge and stove, and great snacks. We really appreciated the touches of hospitality throughout the place. It was about 12-15 minutes drive from the places we wanted to visit including the WWII museum and French quarter. We ate at an awesome place that was walking distance from the Airbnb called Parkway Bakery. We’d definitely stay here again.

    Helen2018-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great area. A bit out of the French quarter. But the trolley is a 3 minute stroll. Good if your goal is not just the French quarter. The park is quite close as well. To take a stroll or check out the art museum. Ruby slipper cafe right around the block for delicious breakfasts. Make the reservation and head back to the Airbnb for AC. The place was perfect for two people. Bed was comfy. Lots of pillows. No complaints. Easy parking. Easy access with remote key. Louis was friendly. And gave clear instructions that were easy to follow.

    Milen2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first airbnb experience and we had such a great experience. This apartment was easy to find, easy to check in and a great location. The apartment is close to the Canal Streetcar which is both economical and easy to get around on. Louis left us an information booklet with area restaurants, streetcar information and other great tips. We slept so great. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets were amazing. I would definitely recommend this to someone that wanted to visit but wanted to be a short distance away from the busy downtown area.

    Christie2018-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfy bed and owner left some snacks, which was great. Street car is very close to home, and takes 20 min or so to the French Quarter.

The cottage is charming, older-- Not Modern. Beautiful area. City Park, Jazz Fest & Pub. trans. 1 mi. from French Q, wkg dist. to stores, restaurants & bayou. 2 bdrms, 1 bath and a porch. For quiet folks. No parties and sock-feet, please. A pup’s in the yard, so please close the gate. Park between driveways on street, so you're not towed. I am not respon. for the loss of electric power or acts of nature that effect the stay here. No hairdryers. Sorry. If key is lost $50.00 fee. :)
No electric hairdryers I'mm so sorry to say. It blows the "fuse." There are New Orleans touches including a wonderful front porch. The two bedrooms are on the top floor with the bathroom and the bottom floor has the kitchen and living room with a big sofa. The beds and the sofa are quite comfy. I seek gentle respectful guests. No parties, please. I'm a friendly artistic teacher and entrepreneur. My street and neighborhood are beautiful and convenient to many things--even by foot. Street parking only. There's intentionally no television but there is internet so you can stream!
The neighborhood is one of the best in New Orleans in terms of beauty and locale. You're right in the center of everything--- shaded by oaks. City Park is beautiful and is just blocks away. It houses the New Orleans Museum of Art and the sculpture garden that is one of the best in the country. Walking distance (about 4 blocks) are 5 restaurants-- all reasonably priced on Esplanade Ave. There are also two small family-owned grocery in the vicinity. You can take the trolley (walking distance) from the museum to uptown and pass along St. Charles Avenue with the universities and mansions-- ending up downtown and then can walk around downtown or do a return trip. We are one mile from the French Quarter and Frenchman St. Huber or Lyft is best--especially at night. I recommend the free blue bikes for rides if the weather is cool during the day.
  • Susan was very friendly and her house was cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic New Orleans experience!

    Samara2016-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I spent 2 nights in Susan's cottage. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house is so cute and much more spacious than expected. The kitchen was well stocked and Susan provided us with fresh fruit, pastries, orange juice and a few other things for breakfast. The living areas are furnished with chairs, an incredibly comfortable couch, and kitchen table. Upstairs, the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the landing with a bathroom in between. Both beds are comfortable and the rooms are tastefully decorated. I especially loved all the artwork displayed throughout the home. We always felt safe and were pleased to find that we were walking distance from the fairgrounds and just a cheap Uber away from the French Quarter. We would definitely stay here again if we ever make our way back to NOLA. I highly recommend this host and her lovely home!

    Alexandra2016-08-15T00:00:00Z

  • Loved the location ! Susan was super accommodating when it came to our last day. She extended our check out since our flight was late. She gave us great tips throughout the trip and was very quick to respond! Overall we had an unforgettable time in Nola partly because we decided on Susan’s Place !

  • Susan is a great host. we had a very comfortable stay. her home is full of art and the travel tips/directions can easily be located on a shelf. thanks for the A/C, just enough to cool down the summer heat, and the laundry facilities are a plus. wish we can stay longer, it really is a lovely neighborhood and getting down to French Quarter is fairly convenient.

  • Laura could not have been more helpful at check in and sorted out a couple of minor queries immediately. Would recommend having a car as bus service not that regular. Taxis into town reasonable if you are a big group however. Rooms large and airy. Decor is great and the house is a lovley quirky oasis to return to. Neighbourhood a little dodgy we thought at first but everyone we spoke to was lovely.

  • First time in New Orleans. Had a great (Email hidden by Airbnb) fortable and clean, location was a convenient 10 minute Lyft into the French Quarter. Hosts were easy to communicate with, and quick to respond with grocery store recommendations and even instructions about how to prepare for the hurricane. They even brought us over a flashlight and batteries. Would absolutely stay at Greg's place again!

    Jennifer2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Greg was really friendly and accessible. He provided good pointers -- like the fact that we would probably want to rent a car. It wasn't very far to drive to the French Quarter, the zoo, or any neighborhood. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes. It was nice that we had our own driveway, too. The home could have been cleaner -- windows, blinds, appliances, etc. It is really a nice size with lots of character.

In the Treme, close to Esplanade Ave, Frenchmen St, the Quarter, the River Walk, City Park and the Fair Grounds. Not far from the Canal Streetcar, Marigny, Bywater or Downtown. A clean private room with private entrance. Free off street parking.
This is a second story apartment in the back of our residence, with a private gated entrance. The room is at least as big as your average hotel room and way more charming. As a seperate part of a wonderfully restored old style New Orleans home you'll appreciate the original hardwood floors and the windows that gaze out over the Treme neighborhood. We are a five minute walk to historic and beautiful Esplanade Ave. Go left and Esplanade will end at the Mississippi river right between Frenchmen St and the French Quarter. Go right and it will lead you directly to the Canal Street Car and City Park, which is quite large and beautiful and home to many attractions including the New Orleans Museum of Art. We are especially close the the Fair Grounds where Jazz Fest is held. And for Mardi Gras we are a short ten minute walk to the Claiborne overpass where the Mardi Gras indians do their thing! • We stopped by for 3 nights on a road trip and had a great time in New Orleans and at Mariellen‘s. The room has it‘s own front door, is very quiet and has everything in you‘d need - if not, just ask Mariellen or her husband, they‘ll help you out. Uber/Car is needed to go to the French Quarter or Downtown, we walked once and it takes you about 30-40 minutes. Uber should get you there for 7-10$.

  • The place was perfect! It was exactly what I was looking for. It was a great location where we could lay our heads in between enjoying everything New Orleans had to offer.

  • Really nice place with flavorful decorations and themes! Very welcoming hosts!

  • Cool apartment with separate entrance above the owners home. Quick/Cheap Uber to everything. Super nice couple. Great for the price.

    Hellitz2017-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • While the accommodations are more than adequate, we felt a little unsafe walking in the neighborhood. While we never saw anyone on the actual block we were staying on, there are a lot of individuals who appear to be homeless in the area, especially on the walking route to many attractions. Two of our Uber drivers expressed concern that we were staying in that area. It was really easy to call an Uber though, so we used that as an alternative to walking; since everything was really close, this was very inexpensive.

The Quisby is a modern upscale hostel in the Lower Garden District. We have ridiculously comfortable beds, free breakfast, blazing fast WiFi throughout for making friends back home jealous, and a bar downstairs for making new friends. We are steps from the WWII Museum, The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the Contemporary Arts Center, and a dozen famous restaurants and bars. The French Quarter is less than one mile away. The St. Charles Ave Streetcar stops 100 feet from our front door.
We are a bunch of misfits and lovable trouble makers. Some of us have always called New Orleans home. Others came for a few days and never left. What we share in common is a mission to create a new kind of hostel in New Orleans. Every space is designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. We believe anyone that makes it to New Orleans in their lifetime is lucky and we're here help you make the most of that good fortune.
We are located conveniently between the Warehouse/Arts District, with three world class museums at our doorstep, and the famed Lower Garden District, full of New Orleans architectural splendor for you to explore. We're also a short stroll from plenty of bars and restaurants ranging from New Orleans establishments to neighborhood gems.
  • This place was perfect for our stay in New Orleans. It's clean and comfy and a great perk to have a 24 hour bar in the lobby. Walking distance to a lot of cool stuff! We ended up walking to most places including the French Quarter and Magazine Street. Definitely Recommend!

    santiago2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Quisby is a great little hostel! Three of us stayed in a four-person private room which was the perfect size. Comfy beds, very clean, and lots of privacy. It felt like a boutique hotel!

    Amanda2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Room was noise, from other toilets flushing from other rooms, Could hear conversations from other rooms, hall way. Poor construction was the main reason , thin walls and ceilings. Old Guest hair ball in fresh towel

  • The Quisby was a beautiful hostel! The room was clean and modern and the bar downstairs was a fun place to hang out. The hostel staff were extremely friendly. The location is prime year round but would be especially great for Marci Gras season. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and would stay here again!

This cozy studio apartment is in a newly renovated 100 year old duplex in the Historic Treme neighborhood. Being in the Treme, the apartment is centrally located, close to both the French Quarter and to Bayou St. John for Jazz Fest. Also close to several renowned restaurants, cafes, and neighborhood watering holes. Just 3 blocks from the Lafitte Greenway bicycle path where you can rent a Blue Bike and zip to the Quarter.
The studio apartment contains a mixture of historic architectural elements with modern amenities: tall ceilings, hardwood floors, a spacious bathroom and eat-in kitchen. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a full-size sofa bed that can be pulled out for an extra bed in the kitchen/living area. There is a shared laundry room in the back shed which may be used upon request.
The Treme neighborhood boasts a rich cultural history. This is evidenced by its architecture and its people. The neighborhood is mixed-race, mixed-income, and residents are a mix of renters and homeowners. On my block there are newcomers to the neighborhood as well as people who have lived on the block their entire lives. The neighborhood also houses the Krewe of Zulu's Clubhouse, and every Mardi Gras the Zulu Parade ends here. The studio is a block from the parade route! This is a transitional neighborhood where there have been many recent improvements. The Laffite Greenway biking trail recently opened, and is a lovely 3.5 bike path along a former rail corridor which takes you from the edge of the French Quarter to City Park. The studio is located 2 blocks from the sleek Broad Street Theater and 3 blocks from the newly opened Whole Foods Market. Other nearby noteworthy cafes and restaurants include Dooky Chase Restaurant, Gabrielle, Willie Maes Scotch House, Pagoda Café, Parkway Bakery and Tavern, and Marjie’s Grill.
  • My best friends and I want to thank you for opening your home to us. We were in awe of how adorable it was. Super cute decor and comfortable beds. We felt right at home. • Nicolette's studio is in the perfect location. An uber to Bourbon St or the National WWII History Museum was only $7-$9. The studio was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious for two people. We loved the high ceilings! The bed was extremely comfortable. Nicolette was both responsive and kind. The local coffee found in the kitchen was a great touch, we are huge coffee drinkers! Amazing stay, no complaints, if you're deciding on a place to call home in between adventures in the French Quarter- book it!

Why rent a room when you can rent a tiny house for your trip to New Orleans. This 650 sq ft home is just steps away from the French Quarter. Everything from Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, streetcar, bikeshare, and the Central Business District are all just a short stroll away. Private entrance through luscious garden. Perfect for a couple or a couple of friends. Cleaning fee is included in nightly rate so there are no extra hidden fees with this listing. (City License: 18STR-15360)
***Parties over 2 persons will not be considered and will be turned away upon arrival. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property.*** Our guesthouse is located in the rear of our property. Estimated to have been built in 1837 (the same date as the main house), this space has gone through a total transformation. A mix of modern and old New Orleans bundled into a small house. There are 8 sets of French doors, and 4 sets of casement windows, allowing for the space to be drenched in natural light. When the weather is nice and a cool breeze is blowing, there is nothing better than opening all the doors and windows so you can take in all the sounds the neighborhood has to offer. Downstairs is an open living room and kitchen area with a complete 4 piece kitchen suite (full sized fridge stocked with bottled water and a Keurig with coffee), and a moveable island. There is also a flat screen TV with DVR, HBO, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Netflix and Prime are already logged in for you to use. A spiral staircase leads you upstairs where there is a king sized bed, walk-in closet, a spacious bathroom, and 12 foot ceilings with exposed beams. Want to lounge outside? Hang out in the shared courtyard or if you prefer privacy there is a private patio behind the guesthouse. Parties over 2 persons will not be considered (city law) and will be turned away upon arrival. Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. We live on the property and make a point of meeting all guests at check-in. Sneaking extra guests onto the property is not a possibility. Any attempt to do so will result in a cancellation of the reservation. Parking is street parking which is unrestricted and free to all. Cleaning fee is included in the nightly rate so there is no extra hidden fees when staying with us. (City License: 18STR-15360)
The Treme is a wonderful and unique neighborhood unlike any other in the United States. St. Augustine Church is on the corner, which leads to many Jazz Funerals and Second Lines. The church also has an amazing Sunday Mass that is open to the public. As a younger nephew noted, "It's not really Sunday Mass, it's a concert!" Mardi Gras Indians regularly wander the neighborhood, as well as brass bands, musicians, and a pair of cowboys who are always walking their llamas, Shetland ponies, and goats. There is always something going on and the people in the neighborhood are friendly and talkative. You can learn just as much about New Orleans from the folks on the street in the Treme as you could with a tour guide charging you an arm and a leg to walk around the Quarter.
  • One of the best places we have stayed. Bret is proactive in communicating and extremely helpful with everything from checkin , making sure heater/air con are set correctly (we needed both!$ to local tips on how to get around. There if you need any help but respectful of your space. Amazing location, couple minutes walking and you are in the heart of the French Quarter, but also close to go into the Treme for amazing local eats or over to Frenchman St. Great value for such a large space.

  • You cannot go wrong with this location! Nice and quiet, yet close enough to the New Orleans hussle bustle.

  • Location was great, the guesthouse itself was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious, bright and charming. Brad and Bret were fantastic hosts, provided information when requested and made us feel at home. Definitely will rebook with them on our next visit.

  • Brad and Bret's place was amazing! Bret was super accommodating with our late arrival (2am) and greeted us at the door with a smile. Took us through the side walkway and out the back to a beautiful modernised guesthouse that we immediate fell in love with. Communication was fast and if we needed anything they were right there to help. Very close to the French quarter and public transport. Shall we ever return to New Orleans, we will be staying there again. Thank you for an amazing stay

    Mel2017-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bret and Brad were great, good communication, helpful, friendly hosts. The guesthouse is in a convenient location that makes it easy to get around town. Take Really comfy bed, well appointed bathroom. Pack light as you'll have to carry things up a narrow spiral staircase (and down narrowish walkway on side of house). Their dogs are friendly so helpful to like dogs (I loved them). Just a really comfortable space and I look forward to booking with them again. Say hey to their neighbors when you see them around, it's the New Orleans thing to do.

    Cheryl2017-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic option in Nola. Very much a true New Orleans feel. Walking distance to many points of interest including amazing food. Interior of the home is modern which makes a great contrast to its exterior. Absolutely loved the French doors and windows.

  • Cody and Leo's place exceeded expectations on how stylish, well furnished, clean and generally relaxing I expected it to be. Everything was super clean and well laid out, and Cody was always quick to answer any question we had. We will definitely be staying here again when we come down to NOLA

  • OMG. Okay, so, I am really particular about cleanliness. I normally hate staying at hotels and AirBnbs because if I so much as see a random hair on the floor, linens, anywhere, I am immediately disgusted. Like, that has someone's DNA on it. Ew. This was, hands down, the CLEANEST AirBnb I've ever stayed at. No random stray hairs to be found. The mattress? Like resting in Beyonce's supple bosom. The sheets? I refuse to believe they're anything less than 30,000 thread count. The space itself? Stylish and homey. I know I sound super extra, but seriously, I've been seriously grossed out by some hotel and Airbnb stays before and this was just... *chef's kiss*

A Newly renovated room which shares a bathroom with our #2 Room, the room has a standard double bed as well as a small refrigerator, a Table & Chairs, and Ductless Air Conditioning among other amenities. A complimentary Breakfast including fresh brewed coffee, cereal, toast and fruit is also available to guests, as is free use of our Bicycles. NOLA STR permit# 18STR-06203
This listing is for our 3rd bedroom. It has a shared bathroom. See our other listings #1 or #4 for a private en-suite. The room does use a shared bathroom, but as most of our guests are focused on exploring the town, this is rarely more than an inconvenience. If you would prefer a room with a private bathroom, we would like to recommend our other listings in our house Creole Cottage in historic Treme #1 and #4. The Cottage started life as a two family home shortly before the American Civil war and has been added to a number of times over the years, unfortunately the specifics of its history are difficult to pin down (although we can make some educated guesses). It's a 20 minute walk(15 minute power walk!) to the French Quarter under those gorgeous 200 year old Oaks, surrounded by gorgeous 200 year old houses, on the former streetcar line. We have four beautiful rescued cats. Miss Doris Day from the Bronx and a few locals, Minnie Mouse, Rocky Raccoon, and Prince Harry. Rick born on NYC and grew up on Long Island, and when he was 17 I moved to New Zealand with my parents and two sisters. He studied at Auckland University and Graduated with a Degree in Architecture, one of the highlights was designing his brothers’ holiday home on Waiheke Island NZ. He's renovated houses in NZ, San Francisco, and now New Orleans. I started playing Trumpet in elementary school and never stopped, I play regularly around New Orleans & Auckland NZ. I moved to New Orleans in 2010 with my wife Liz and we love it! Since then I’ve been working on our house and playing with various bands around New Orleans including my own group the Rick Roff Trio. Avery Moved here from New Zealand in 2013 to help on the renovation, he’s a Jack of all trades with a background in technology but he spends his downtime creating industrial lighting and has personally either created or restored most of the lighting in the house. His other Artistic projects include leatherwork (specialising in costume armor) and the occasional piece of furniture. He sells publicly through Secondline Arts & Antiques in the French Quarter, but if you see something you like feel free to ask him if it’s available or whether you can commission something similar. As of late November Rick and Liz are currently taking an extended break from Airbnb to spend time with Ricks elderly mother in New Zealand while Avery runs things here in New Orleans
Historic Treme, Esplanade Ridge, Lower 7th Ward, our neighborhood gets called different names by different people. Historically our neighborhood was part of the Creole side of town (as opposed to the “American” side) and just a stones’ throw from Esplanade Avenue and it’s centuries old Oak trees. Most of the houses in our area predate the Civil war (Creole Cottages and Shotguns) although there are a few places that are more modern (or have been “modernized”) which gives the neighborhood a sense of age that’s impossible to replicate. While it’s true that there are still a number of houses in the area that are currently unoccupied, that number is gradually dwindling and is mostly an aftereffect of Hurricane Katrina. The area is also dotted with small restaurants and Cafes, perfect if you’re looking to get away from the Crowds. Logistically, we’re centrally located and convenient to the French Quarter but not close enough to feel trapped by it while Esplanade Ave forms a direct (and safe) pathway that’s well-traveled day and night. Alternately you can follow Esplanade away from the French Quarter and explore New Orleans City Park (Designed by the same person as Central Park NYC and 50% larger). City Park is a great place to visit, not only for its landscaped scenery but also because it hosts the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) as well as its free attached sculpture garden. Safety is a major concern for many of our guests as New Orleans doesn’t have the best reputation in that regard; we can honestly say that our neighborhood is quite safe, we’re less than a block from a main road (Esplanade) that’s well lit and well-traveled at all times of the day and night. If you aren’t comfortable with walking back to our place, Uber or Lyft usually run less than $10, although frankly, the French Quarter is the most dangerous place most tourists are likely to visit, even then, incidents involving our guests are incredibly rare.
  • Rick and Liz! Just the best! Warm and friendly people, sharing their gorgeous space in New Orleans, and sharing lots of great stories about worldly travels. Our room (#3) was beautiful, huge, and so comfortable. Those ceilings must be 20ft high. We can't wait to come back and stay here again. Thanks for everything.

    Carol2015-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Rick, Liz, and Avery for making my stay comfortable and relaxing in this bustling place. I loved the fact that you had bicycles to use, and it wouldn't have been such a great trip without riding around town. I highly recommend staying here and I look forward to returning. God Bless

    Grant2016-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • It wasn't quite what we expected but it ended up being a great central location that was close to the French Quarter and Liz and Rick were very friendly hosts that made the atmosphere at the house very welcoming and warm. It was value for money and we met some great people there.

    Briony2015-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Rick & Liz's place was wonderful! Great location (10 minutes bike ride to the French Quarter), historic house and neighborhood, lovely room - all at a very convenient price. They have bikes that the guests can use, which is a very convenient way to visit the city. I highly recommend it, and if I will ever return to NOLA I would love to stay here again!

  • Rick and Liz were super friendly and accommodating, which made for a really pleasant stay. Rick gave me some great tips for going out and seeing parts of the city I had missed in previous occasions. Overall I had a lovely time staying with them and would definitely come stay again.

  • Our stay with Rick and Liz was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and we also had the chance to use their bikes to explore NOLA. Getting to the French Quarter is very easy and takes around 10 - 15 minutes walking. Our hosts had valuable information regarding the neighborhood and NOLA in general and we enjoyed our stay at Creole Cottage.

    Malte2014-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts. Very hospitable and helpful. Location is good, approximately 20 min walk from the French quarter. They also have bikes for guests. They have a bunch of lovely pets - one dog and a few cats. If you don't have issues with that, I would definately recommend this apartment as a vacation accommodation in New Orleans.

This Cozy Private Studio Apartment is just 7 blocks from the Fair Grounds and a short distance from the French Quarter. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Recently renovated with all new appliances. A secluded oasis in the heart of the city. Moments away from Esplanade Ave., City Park, the Fair Grounds and the French Quarter. Perfect location for Mardi Gras and Jazz/Voodoo Fest.
Beautifully decorated one room studio apartment in the rear of a newly renovated duplex. Set off the street, this is a perfect oasis getaway from the bustle of the city but right in the heart of New Orleans.
The 7th Ward is a diverse working class neighborhood with a deep rooted community and is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. Historically a predominantly Afro-Creole community developed in the 19th century similar to the neighboring and slightly older Faubourg Tremé; it is home to such music greats as Sidney Bechet, Jelly Roll Morton, and Frank Ocean. The areas along and near Esplanade Avenue and Bayou Road both have elegant architecture and are lined with beautiful historic oaks. The New Orleans Fairgrounds, home to horse racing and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, is just back from Esplanade Avenue, as is Saint Louis Cemetery #3. Frenchmen Street is in the front of the ward near the French Quarter. The House is located across from a local elementary school.
  • Adorable little space! Great access to the bus and walking distance from a bunch of really cute little restaurants and cafes.

    Abigail2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is cozy and cute. It has everything you’ll need and its perfectly located in downtown New Orleans where everything is a hop, skip, or a roll to wherever in the city. Zach is quick with his responses.

    Tammi2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute little cosy place that wasn’t to far from the French Quarter. About a $9-$10 Uber ride. Great communication on how to access the property. Thanks.

  • Quaint little spot highly recommended

    Lambert2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Zach is great! Check in instruction is clear and provided tons of good suggestions on the restaurants and bars. The location could have been better but it's a OK neighborhood.

    Su2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Details are definitely a plus with this space! The bathroom was fully stocked with multiple towels, toilet paper, and grooming products. Television (if you even have the chance to watch while in gorgeous NOLA) was loaded with streaming services for a lazy day. The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen is so cute! This space was the perfect option for a solo traveler or couple. French Quarter is just a 10 min drive away giving you plenty of time to get into shenanigans and then retreat to a quiet neighborhood. Check in was easy. Be careful with gate when you leave though, as it can get a little tricky to work sometimes. Overall, this space definitely has the value for a low key trip. I’d definitely stay here again!

  • Zack is great host with kindness and quick response. The place was cozy and comfortable. When we arrived late night, we were a little difficult to find address number and use the enterance lock. It was too late to call Zach but we got it!!! Enjoyed staying the place and New Orleans.

This is a true New Orleans cottage, charming and comfortable.
We are on a gorgeous street, very close to the French Quarter.
  • KAtherine is an amazing host. She did our dinner reserving, let us taste some Mardi Gras cake and brought us seafood. We enjoyed her friendly way and would have liked to invite her out for dinner . Hope to see her asap!!! We had a wonderful stay and with her help tasted a bit of the real New Orleans perfume. Thx a million

  • Katharine was very hospitable and gave us some great recommendations of places to visit and eat. The cottage was exactly as pictured and was very comfortable. The location was was very convenient. We would love to stay here again and will definitely recommend Katharine's beautiful cottage to friends.

  • Place was exactly as stated and location was great.

  • Katharine's place was a great place to stay: not far by Uber to the French Quarter nor to City Park where one can catch a street car. Katharine was easy to work with and went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Excellent cottage. Great location. Beautiful stroll to trolley. Groceries/ takeout across road. Felt very safe and secure.

  • Ms. Kathy's home was absolutely perfect and just as lovely as the pictures. It was clean and well-decorated, but incredibly comfortable and we felt right at home. Ms. Kathy greeted us late in the evening (late flight in) with a warm welcome (a hug!) and a cold bottle of white wine. She was a wonderful host and I only wish I could have stayed longer.

  • Very charming house. Katahrine was very present and available for help, answer questions....We spent a great time in heart of NOLA. Looking forward to coming back. For sure we recommend this location.

I love that it's down to earth, welcoming, historic architecture and a lot of space and green for being located in central New Orleans. It's a residential neighborhood, NOT located in the French Quarter! (see map on bottom of the listing!)
  • Clean, quiet and comfortable. Stayed here on a business trip for convenient location. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

    Raymond2015-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • I didn't meet Miriam, but the house was everything she conveyed. It was really ideal and I would recommend it to everyone!

  • Wendy is an experienced, professional photographer. We were sent some information sheets prior to the day, which gave me a chance to research part of my camera I did not understand. I recommend you have at least a basic understanding of the manual settings on your camera before the day.

    Alicat2018-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Our experience was amazing! The home was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Miriam provided us with everything we could possibly need during our stay. We will definitely be staying again!

    Geryn2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We needed a last minute place to stay and Our host was very accommodating, the space was as described and well located for a quick drive to the French quarter. I would recommend this place.

    Alan2015-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • It is situated in a convenient location, and you can go French Quarter or take the highway 10 to other places easily. Maybe it is just us, who arrived late at night and also around the holiday seasons, so we are not very comfortable with the neighborhood (It doesn't mean it is unsafe) Regarding to the house itself, it is large and comfortable. The only issue is probably that you have to walk through the main bedroom if you go from the 2nd bedroom to the restroom. It definitely serves the purpose.

    Yi2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fantastic place to stay in New Orleans. We arrived late at night but this wasn't a problem, Miriam had made sure we had all the directions and details we needed, and was very helpful on the phone as well. The place is in a quiet residential neighbourhood but not too far from the French Quarter, there is a half-hourly bus you can catch and or a cheap taxi ride (around 10 dollars). Parking on the drive was not a problem. The apartment itself is cute just like it is on the photos, with plenty of space and clean. It was very hot outside so the AC was welcome. Only comment is be aware the rooms are arranged in a long "tunnel" so you have to walk through one of your bedrooms to get to the kitchen and bathroom, so not ideal for couples. It was handy to have a kitchen too, we didn't cook and it was basic facilities only, but good to make coffees and breakfast.

PLEASE NOTE: This room is for 1 person only and a minimum stay of 3 nights!!! If more than 1 person arrives, we have the right to cancel your stay without a refund. This is one of 2 rental bedrooms in a brand new house 1 block to Canal Street in Midcity neighborhood. Streetcar/trolley, will get you to French Quarter (10-15min) or Jazz and VooDoo Fests (15-20min) for $1.25. We are walking distance to inexpensive restaurants and grocery stores. Please don't hesitate to ask for recommendations :-)
Our home is brand new and clean (no funky floors or post-storm mildew smells), with central air and heat. Mattress on the bed is also new. There are only 2 private guest bedrooms that share 1 full bathroom (unlike 3-4 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom that I see in other places). If only one bedroom is booked at any particular time, the bathroom ends up being private. We don't have a TV in the house.
The best part about our home is that it's located 1 block from Canal Street in Mid-City neighborhood and is literally in the middle of things you want to experience in New Orleans. Plenty of inexpensive places to get food: Breakfast: Betsy's Pancake House, Ruby Slipper, Waffle House, Coffee Science (coffee shop) - 2-3 blocks, Lunch/Dinner: Eat Well (po-boys and Vietnamese food), Taco truck, Ideal Grocery (Central American food to go), fast food - all 1 block, Whole Foods - 3 blocks. Within 5-10 blocks, local food favourites: Mandina’s, Neyow’s, Liuzza’s, Parkway, Katie’s. Burgers/Wings - Ffarmacy Rite Aid pharmacy - 1 block, Broad Movie Theater - 5 blocks, New Bio-Medical District is only 4 blocks away.
  • Quiet and clean house. Roman was very friendly and provided a bunch of restaurant/sightseeing recommendations. Very close to the streetcar, which was convenient to get downtown. Room included a mini fridge, fan, white noise machine, and door with key/lock. Bathroom was very clean.

    Eddie2018-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for VoodooFest, but could easily see returning for other events in the city. Roman and Seterah have completely renovated their home with bright, modern touches. The bedroom was cozy, with a good mattress and a spacious reach-in closet. The white noise machines on the bedside table were a particularly gracious (and some nights, needed) touch. They provided a full page of recommendations and suggestions for making the most of my stay. I wish that I had been in town for a day or two longer to check out the restaurants that they recommended. They also know all about the events at the Museum of Art. The house is a block from both the streetcar and a fare machine that prints the Jazzy Pass, that offers unlimited rides for 1/3/5 days. Buying that saved me a few Uber trips AND fishing for change on the streetcar. There are also drugstores and dollar stores within a block or two to pick up forgotten necessities. It is a convenient, happy home with friendly hosts. It was a great first AirBnB experience!

    Erin2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was great! Was there for the Mardi Gras weekend. We was surprised how close the house was from Canal st, the route of Endymion parade. The entire house was clean and cozy. Roman was very friendly and nice. Recommend us a lot of places to see and food to try. Highly recommend this host!

    Adriana2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Roman and Setareh were quick to communicate before and during my 6-day stay, and check-in was pleasant and easy. The house is nice and clean, and centrally located, within an easy walk and/or treetcar ride to all the interesting areas. My only suggestion for improvement is adding a chest or some shelf space in the room: there was only a hanging closet, so I ended up living out of a suitcase lying on the floor. Otherwise it was perfect. Thank you!

    Geerhard Daniel2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very convenient to the Canal Street trolley. Great for getting around the city with public transportation. The room, home and bathroom are very clean. Roman and Setareh Accommodated our early flight arrival And got us started on a great stay.

    Larry2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Roman and Setareh were great hosts. They were very quick to answer our messages. Their house is very clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient: the streetcar makes it very easy and quick to get to/from the main touristic places. Roman also gave us some good recommendations of some places close by. It was a great stay.

    Rémy2019-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • The place is nice and not too far from downtown. Roman and Setareh are wonderful hosts and will definitely help you make the most of your trip to New Orleans!

    Aloïs2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cute house with the white trim is a hop, skip and a jump from everywhere! We spent one day just walking everywhere, we also drove and used the trolley. Everything is accessible from their home. The home is clean and the area is safe. Roman gave us some amazing suggestions on places to go and things to see...ask him for the coupon to Cafe Degas! A MUST! We had a great time!

The neighborhood of Tremé is known for its original and creole-centered architecture and being the birth place of some of New Orleans-centric musical and visual art. Art and architecture aside, Tremé is the oldest subdivision in New Orleans at 204 years old. The neighborhood is also home to some iconic landmarks, including one of the oldest churches in the nation, the St. Augustine Catholic Church, and areas including Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square.
  • Ben's home was very clean and great for our short trip. The layout is a little odd for me, having to go through a bedroom to get to the bathroom or kitchen. The location was nice; just under $8 for an Uber.

  • Ben is a very friendly, accommodating host. The place is clean, well equipped, and laid back - there's even a little back yard. The surrounding neighborhood has a rich history and you can easily walk to jazz museums, 24 hours of places to eat drink, and be merry. If you aren't used to cities the area might seem a bit rough, but I felt perfectly safe walking around. Stay with Ben in the Treme and you'll have a grand time!

We love this neighborhood! It is right in the middle of city along the river, so a more low traffic spot, but with easy access to the more commercial and entertainment districts. It has its own lovely set of bars, coffee shops, and wonderful restaurants very close by though.
  • Gorgeous, luxurious old world vibe, a stones throw from the heart of New Orleans. Fantastic location and beautiful space. Thoughtful attention to detail and a great quiet retreat from the hustle of New Orleans city. Huge, comfortable bed and great AC! A very unique space and a perfect sanctuary for our stay in New Orleans

  • Lindsey's place was absolutely gorgeous and helped make our honeymoon romantic and comfortable! We felt at home right away with Lindsey's friendliness and hospitality - and the bed is awesome and SO soft! Even though the house is partly under construction, we weren't disturbed by loud sounds or movement. There is a cool brewery across the street along with a coffee house and bourbon bar, so we were basically set the whole weekend. The area is great for non touristy type tours - but you can still get to the hot spots quickly via Uber or streetcar. The room itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a short stay along with a mini fridge and glasses, cookware, utensils etc.... we will definitely be back to New Orleans and will definitely book with Lindsey again. PS: Her dogs are the bomb and we miss them. 10/10 would recommend!

    Mandy2016-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • My Husband and I stayed here for a couple days during Mardi Gras. Talk about a great location. Just far enough to get away from the craziness but close enough to walk. And in a safe little spot with a local bar and a slider truck! When we walked in the door there was local music playing on a radio and a bottle of wine to set the mood. It's a very clean, spacious, artsy loft that gives you the real feel of New Orleans. Lyndsey was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We will def being staying here again!

    Timothy2014-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey was a thoughtful and communicative host throughout the booking process, as well as during my stay. Her place was absolutely gorgeous, comfortable and fully stocked. The house is located on Magazine street, and while it's not right in the thick of the stores & restaurants it's known for, it's still charming and walking distance to everything. Lindsey also provided us an amazing list of things to do/see (which I highly recommend you ask for) and also gave us the option of renting bikes to explore the neighborhood. I highly recommend this location and can't wait to visit again!

    Veronica2014-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lindsey was a very accommodating host and was able to adjust our check-in/out times to coordinate with our flight times. She was quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. The pictures of the space does not do it justice to how it really looks in person - it was very beautiful, rustic and spacious. They had just put in a king sized bed that was very comfortable. We pretty much walked everywhere (French Quarter ~30 mins) but by our third day we discovered that the streetcar was only 2 blocks away. We will definitely be back to visit & stay here. And hopefully meet her dogs next time :)

    Nicole2016-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay! It was so close to everything. Me and a friend stayed for a weekend. We felt safe during our stay and we had no trouble walking back from Bourbon Street Saturday Night to the room. It was everything we needed! I highly recommend this and eventually plan on staying here again!

    Stanley2014-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • We chose Lindsey's place because it had a distinctive aesthetic flair, and we were interested in an off-the-beaten-path New Orleans experience. We couldn't have been more pleased. Every inch of this spacious, airy apartment — from the floor-to-ceiling windows, the hardwood floors, and the exposed brick peeking through the textured walls — was visually stunning. Large white curtains brightened the room with diffuse light, even when the afternoon rains started pouring outside. As a party of three, we had more than enough space. We split our time between exploring the Lower Garden District, which is filled with some wonderful restaurants and bars, and taking the streetcar or cabs to other areas of the city. I would recommend Lindsey's place to anyone interested in doing touristy and non-touristy things alike, and coming home to a local experience in a quiet neighborhood.

    Taj2014-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures don’t do it justice. Lindsey has put many meaningful touches to this remodel. Many cool spots are within walking distance! Words of advice...check the weather app to pack accordingly and to wear shoes that are meant for walking

  • It was so lovely being able to come back to this calm, peaceful place. Jamie is a conscientious host and the cats are so cute! Mr. Peepers made sure to assert dominance immediately by jumping on the bed and getting some scratches before we had even unpacked...loved it.

Our cool and comfortable studio apartment is the perfect little hideaway to retreat to after enjoying this beautiful city. It comfortably fits two and is located in the beautiful Oak lined neighborhood of Carrolton. Just one block from the Carrolton/St.Charles Streetcar line and walking distance to many restaurants/bars.
You have private access to a bottom floor studio apartment. You will have full private access to the whole studio and come and go as you please.
My studio is nestled on the bottom floor of my two story house and I currently occupy the upstairs so I will be available for anything you may need. Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Carrolton, it's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD and French Quarter, but one block from the Carrolton/St Charles Street car line (20 minute ride on the streetcar to downtown or Napoleon Avenue where all the uptown Mardi Gras parades start). Oak street is a 4 block walk from the apartment where there are a lot of local restaurants and bars including the famous Maple Leaf bar and Jacques-Imo's Creole Restaurant. Just a few more blocks down is the famous diner Camellia Grill and the streetcar can take you directly Downtown/French Quarter and the shopping on Magazine street.
  • Claire’s studio apartment was perfect for a quick stay over during my holiday travels with my pup. The place was very clean, and the available coffee and snacks were a nice touch. Claire was very responsive as well. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Great little cozy place close to the street car that takes your right into the heart of it all (if you choose). Great restaurants (Dante's Kitchen is the best meal we've ever had!) and coffee shops and bars within walking distance. Claire was super easy and responsive.

  • This is the perfect, private space to get away to explore NOLA. The location is off the beaten path, thus quiet, but a mere block from the streetcar line, allowing quick transport to any tourist destination or university campus! Check-in/check-out was seamless, and the place was cute and tidy.

    Erin2017-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Claire was awesome and it was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our dog!

    Wyatt2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Claire is a wonderful host and her place was nice for a one night stay. However cleanliness is not found here. The ac unit, shower grout and shower and window curtains appear to have mold. The toilet was also pretty gross. I hate to leave a negative review but this made my stay quite uncomfortable. This made me weary of using towels or laying on the linens because I feared the same disregard for the linens may have also been given in terms of cleanliness. The place is easy to access and not far from attractions but not walkable. If the place was properly cared for we would return.

  • We enjoyed staying at Katharine's home. Visited with my husband and two friends and she was available via text/call in case we needed anything-we didn't! Inexpensive Uber rides will get you to the French quarter. If you are more adventurous, you can walk there in about 30-40 minutes using Esplanade. House was really clean and included a full kitchen which we didn't use but would be great for those who would prefer to cook some of their meals while visiting. Living room was a great place to unwind at the end of the night. Would definitely stay again. The only improvement might be to include doors/curtains to the bedrooms for a little more privacy for couples visiting.

  • This place didn’t appear to be in a good part of town at first, but once we drove around NOLA, we noticed that almost everywhere around it appeared to be like this place. But we had a great stay, and it is a cheap Uber drive to French Quarter and Bourbon! The host got back with us quickly when we had questions too.

  • Katherine was really nice and the apartment was amazing!!

    Stella2015-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • For the price that you pay to stay here, the place really isn't bad.Be aware the front and back doors have huge cracks between the door and the floor, so roaches and crickets will crawl in during the night/day. The neighborhood is very loud (the neighbor across the street blasted music each morning from his car, and you can hear everything as the walls are very thin (which, it's New Orleans so we expected it but still, good to know beforehand.) The place is located about a mile from the streetcar line, and it's a nice walk there. I felt safe while we were there, be aware homeless might knock on your door asking for money though(this happened once). It has a nice porch to sit/hang out on, and everyone who walked by was extremely friendly. Be aware that the house is shotgun style, so long and skinny with no doors except for to the bathroom. This is fine for a couple, but if you're staying with a few people you won't have a lot of privacy. The coffee maker worked great, and it was nice to have plates and bowls and a full-sized fridge for food storage. Don and Katharine were extremely accessible via messaging on this site, and via text for all the questions that I had. It is street parking, but there was always a spot to park directly in front of the house.

  • The house was really nice and clean. Loved the neighborhood, although not quite walking distance to the French Quarter. But everything was great, easy to find and Katharine was a great communicator.

    Micaela2016-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, quick $7 uber ride to French quarter. Plenty of room in the house. Katharine was easy to get ahold of and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

  • Convenient to the French Quarter, clean accommodations, comfortable bunk beds, great for family & friends, not your typical youth hostel...we would return!

  • What a magical beautiful spot in the heart of New Orleans. Many bars and restaurants are walking distance! Everything was beyond perfect and very friendly and helpful staff. 24 hours Bar too!

  • I loved this location. Especially for a group trip . We didn’t spend much time in our room so having a clean and ready space to sleep in was most important . Definitely recommend

  • Just a short walk to the street car or a few block walk down canal street (one block over) to the French quarter. We chose to walk it and see the city! Quite and quaint location! Very warming & welcoming host with lots of tips! Highly recommend!

    Arika2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing. Kim responds quickly, is very willing to accommodate anything you might need. She sent me a lot of recommendations for local events and food which came in handy and the property is exactly what is described. There is additional security in the home that you can arm for further security but there is a locked gate and locked doors already. The area is relatively quiet but also very close to everything; took me about 15 minutes to walk to the French quarter and taking Uber to the Quarter never cost more than $10. I highly recommend booking this property.

  • This place was just what we were looking for. We came for Jazz Fest and exploring the city. It is conveniently located in between the Fest and the French Quarter. Also, the streetcar drops you off right at your door! Merci was very helpful and hospitable. She gave us the local tips of where to eat and drink. She never steered us wrong. Our favorite was her suggestion for Willie Mae's fried chicken, which is walking distance to her place. We were extremely comfortable there and the neighbors were nice too. We will definitely be back!

    Catie2018-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • The lock on the door didn't work, the host helped though without significant delays. The bed was really uncomfortable, the metal bar is right under a very thin mattress, I had to move to the floor after the first night experience. Other than that it was a nice place to stay in that neighborhood.

    Pavel2017-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This home was the perfect size for our trip. It had everything we needed, plus an amazing shower. It was close to the street car, which was the best and cheapest way for us to get around. The hosts knew the city very well and had fantastic restaurant recommendations (which we took advantage of). I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in NOLA.

  • Kim was awesome with fast responses before and during my stay. She helped with arrival, etc. The place was very clean and comfortable. It was a bit further "up" than I realized however that is on me. About a 15 minute walk down Canal to downtown. Canal Streetcar is easy and accessible

    Robin2019-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Paul and Morrisey were very welcoming and oriented me to transportation, good local food, and activity options. They also checked in with me after my second day, to make sure everything was fine. The place was clean and had great amenities (nice shower, washer/dryer), and was very comfortable even while being small. There are two trolley stops less than two blocks away, but I was also able to walk downtown easily. Very good experience here in an awesome city. I'd stay with them again.

    Nicholas2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The neighbor wasn't the best in town, but we hadn't actually any inconvenience. There is a streetcar stop just 1 minute walking. No cafes or restaurants near. The studio has some good and bad points: + close to a streetcar stop, very clean, new restored, microwave and fridge, washing machine and dryer, bathroom so big and quality shower, excellent communication with the owner... - the neighborhood is not nice, the sofa as a bed is not very comfortable, the wifi sometimes doesn't work properly. But in general we felt good there

This house is full of history and it dates back to the pre-civil war period over 150 years ago. It has been beautifully renovated to blend the new and old. The space consist of two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. a large kitchen and living room with one bathroom. Also there’s a patio out back

  • Awesome experience with Ben! Great work!

    Lance2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • The house is great and contains all the basics you need. The location is good, it's easily to go everywhere in car. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Ben in person but he was helpful with suggestions, advises and fast at responding to messages. Thanks!

    Petrine2016-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Ben was awesome and really accommodating. The place was very clean and met all of my needs. I would recommend this place to anyone. If I had to choose one issue, the house is in a fairly noisy neighborhood and I was awoken very early each morning from construction and the sounds of city life. It is important to note that I've never lived in a big city and noise might just be a staple that I am not used to. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay!

    Pat2017-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect hideaway, quiet, clean - everything you Need inmidst of beautiful Tremé. Our host Ben was helpful and always replying in an instant.

    Sebastian2017-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ben's places is very roomy and has everything you would ever want for an extended stay. With the entire apartment available you have the room, comforts, and all appliances you would need for a easy vacation. From his place you can have an easy 18 min walk into the French quarter or a 6 dollar Uber ride! Ben is quick to respond , clear, and kind. I would definitely stay at his place again in the future when traveling to NOLA.

    David2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Ben was a very helpful and informative host. The location was good. It was a 20 minute walk to the main sights of New Orleans or a short Uber ride. We felt safe in the neighborhood and even met the neighbor who was very friendly. We had an expensive car packed full for a road trip and had no problem with it. I would stay here again!
