The private bedroom is approximately 200 sq/ft. There is enough room for a queen size air mattress to fit alongside the foot of the bed, in case you have a party of three. (I can supply the air mattress if notified in advance). Bedroom includes a large bay window looking out over the neighborhood, a 27" TV with Netflix/Hulu (sorry no cable), coffee maker, tea, a desk with basic office supplies and extra blankets. Attached bathroom has full size bath/shower, hair dryer, and basic toiletries. The bedroom is located on the second floor and is unfortunately, NOT handicap accessible.
Quality Hill is a historic neighborhood near downtown Kansas City, Missouri, situated on a 200-foot-high bluff which overlooks the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers in the West Bottoms below. Situated within fourteen blocks of the Missouri River itself, Quality Hill is the oldest established residential area in the Kansas City metropolitan area to remain continuously inhabited. With it's french-style colonial buildings, the neighborhood still retains a lot of its original charm.

This is my townhome :) Walking distance from Sprint Center, The Power & Light district, Midland Theater, KC Live, and HyVee Arena (Kemper). Self check-in/out with a smart lock. The airport is a straight shot 20 minutes away. Kauffman stadium, Arrowhead stadium, the race track, and the Plaza are all short rides away. You get the whole place to yourself - upstairs and downstairs. The front door opens to the only quiet, safest part of KC near an area we call Quality Hill.
Check in is flexible for $20ish and I WILL WORK WITH YOU IF YOU HAVE CERTAIN TIMES YOU NEED TO COME/GO. Normal check in is 4pm and checkout is 9am. Self check-in with a smart lock you will be given a personal PIN for. This is my home. I live here, but also have another apartment a short distance away. I'm available if you need anything. Airbnb is a big way of how I pay my rent. I keep my space sparkling clean. Everything is new, but you may see some tools or boxes as there are still small projects I'm working on like installing shelves to make the space even more perfect. The upstairs has two bedrooms. My bedroom will remain locked for your stay unless otherwise specified. You will have access to the second bedroom which has a lock as well. Come and go as you please. It's a quiet few blocks in the heart of the city. My neighbors are quiet and expect the same from my guests. Big comfy couch in the living room. Plush brand new carpets. Memory foam in the guest suite. Large wall mounted 4k television in the living area. Picture staying at your friends house while they are away on vacation. You'll have access to the kitchen if you wish to cook and fridge for any left overs.
The neighborhood is one of the safest parts of KC. It's amazing how in the heart of the city we seem to have our own oasis resembling the suburbs. Only a few square blocks we call Quality Hill. It certainly is quality at its finest while still being 1 block away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Brick Barn Studio is a sweet, freshly renovated private space on the first floor of a late 19th century Carriage House. Guests will enjoy their own private entry to their accommodation, new mini kitchen, shower/bathroom, and laundry, king size mattress on a unique built-in bench platform w/headboard, and a convertible sofa that can sleep another guest or two. There is a privacy curtain provided for guests who would like a little separation between the bed and sleeper sofa.
The studio is a private 600 sq ft space on the first floor of a late 19th century carriage house, just a block from the shops and restaurants at 17th and Summit, one of Kansas City’s most unique neighborhoods.

Our guests will be less than a block from Goat Hill Coffee + Soda, Fervere Bakery, Chez Elle Creperie, Los Alamos Market and Restaurant, Westside Local, & Bluebird Bistro. We are an easy 2 block walk to the Kauffman Performing Arts Center, with the exciting Crossroads neighborhood spreading out beyond that. Downtown; the West Bottoms; Southwest Boulevard; there is plenty to explore nearby, and close proximity to highways, busses, city bikes, streetcars and gateways to attractions further out.

The space is a comfy studio apartment with private entry. Sleep in a super comfortable queen-sized bed, enjoy free WIFI, a full kitchen, and your own private bathroom. There is an on premise security camera upstairs which points to the front porch of the house for security. This records audio and video for 3 hours and is only monitored if needed. Please note, this space is unfortunately not ADA compliant - stairs are unavoidable when accessing the space.

My main bedroom has a comfy queen bed as well as the study making my space perfect for 2 - 4 people. In addition, you would have 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer! I also have a queen air mattress you're welcome to use as well as a pack-n-play. I have a very open floor plan with comfy seating. You also have full access to my kitchen, movie/book library, and toiletries. All within the heart of downtown Kansas City! Our home has a private bedroom in a unique and inviting downtown building. A quick hop up the stairs and you will find us on the top floor enjoying the views. Huge windows provide ideal lighting for those instagram-perfect vacation pictures. Street parking available for free, or garage parking available across the street, you'll be able to park and leave your vehicle as this place is located within walking distance of most everything you will need.
Being one of the hottest areas in Kansas City, the Crossroads district has a little bit of everything. Walk and buy fresh made bread, local Kansas City souvenirs, or get a cup of coffee at one of the many near coffee shops. Also right near by are two excellent vegan and vegetarian restaurants, or if you prefer the other end of the spectrum, Town Topic is just across the street as a historic Kansas City diner that has been slinging burgers since 1937, though they're no longer 5 cents. The Crossroads district has a bar for everyone. If you're looking for a casual night out, there are two different arcade bars just a few blocks away, or if you're looking for something a little more upscale, I can make many recommendations that are just as close based on what you have in mind.

We're Jana & Drew- we love KC, traveling, and meeting new people! A quick "THANK YOU" to the AirBnB community: This home has been opened up to guests for just over a year now, and we've been overwhelmed with the support we've received from you guys, the interest in our city, and the awesome people we've met. We love that we get to invest in our community by restoring an old property and that we get to shake hands with cool people we would not have met otherwise. Thanks guys!
We LOVE hosting. We want to know if you have questions because we want to help and earnestly hope that your stay will be comfortable and memorable. Creating a space where fellow adventurers feel at home is our dream. What's the Brew Haus like? Well it's cozy and old fashioned! We're renovating as time allows, but we promise to keep the power tools out of sight. The common areas are clean and cozy- the kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms have all had a good updating. The living and dining rooms are functional, if quirky. The Roku- equipped TV is a perfect companion to the big leather couch. The house is over 100 years old and shows its age. Read on if you're an adventurous traveler! We're on a cul-de-sac with street parking available. One spot directly in front of the house is usually free. Additional street parking is available in the area, but please make sure not to block access to the local businesses (no parking in front of gates or driveways). As you may notice in the photo, the front door is accessed by a set of stairs. There's a small front yard and a larger, paved backyard. Both are fenced and good for pets! The Brew Haus has been updated with central heat and cooling. There's a washing machine and a little dryer in the basement. Each bedroom has a new full bed with a SUPER comfy mattress that sleeps two people. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking utensils. There's a fridge and gas oven as well as basic pots, pans, spoons, spatulas, salt & pepper, et cetera. There will always be coffee and a way to make it.
We're one block from Kansas City's best known coffee shop and just around the corner from 28 Event Space! The immediate neighborhood is old and quirky like the house! It's part industrial, part residential- we're nestled in among some industrial businesses and a couple of awesome neighbors. Please note, one guest has mentioned noise from the nightclub down the street. A ten minute walk gets you to Boulevard Brewing Beer Hall and a KC B-Cycle station. Travelers can jump on the street car at Union Station (1.2 miles from home), tour through downtown KCMO, and visit the River Market. The Crossroads art district is a five minute drive away. There you can check out Up-Down (our favorite arcade bar) and countless local shops!

Remodeling was recently completed on this 900-square foot, one-bedroom, one bath apartment that occupies the entire first floor of an historic 1889 brownstone building, with a private entrance and private back patio. (Our home occupies the top two floors of the building.) The apartment is equipped with high-speed Google Fiber WiFi; separate living room with comfortable sofa, reading nook, and large television; kitchen fully stocked with dishes and silverware, wine glasses, bottle openers, a Keurig one-cup coffee maker, a mini refrigerator, and a microwave (no oven/range). Tea, coffee, bottled water, and granola bars are stocked for your stay. Soft, fresh linens and plenty of fluffy towels are provided, along with extras should you need them. The bathroom is stocked with soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and body lotions, as well as a hair dryer and other necessities. The bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, opens to a private patio with seating and a view of the natural surroundings. The ceiling fan and light are operated by remote control, so you don't need to get up to turn the lights out. Room darkening curtains keep the room dark and cool for those who wish to sleep in. A second queen-sized EZ Bed is available for set-up in the living room for 4 guests. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned between guest stays. PLEASE NOTE: Although the apartment is somewhat insulated from the sounds of our home above, we have two dogs.
The Westside is a historically diverse area, offering local goods, fantastic farm-to-table restaurants, and an eclectic environment. The Crossroads Arts District is a short walk away, as is the Convention Center and the impressive architecture of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Take a short walk down the hill to SW Boulevard for authentic Mexican food. Our 3-story Brownstone has a lower-level apartment. It is spacious and light filled. Best suited for solo travelers or couples.

The main space is my working art studio and curated private collection. It can be pristine or cluttered depending on whatever project I'm working on at the time of your stay. Because the main living space is a living art studio, the photos in this listing may not directly reflect the furniture layout or art content at the time of your visit. Part of the excitement of visiting this unique space is the ever changing environment and anticipation of new art pieces! Private bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen are always clean but you may encounter glitter or random pigment during your stay. The private bedroom is located just off the studio space on the main floor, close to the kitchen and half bath. Full-bath is located upstairs. Kitchen and living areas are shared. *It is important to note that stairs are required to access all areas of the home. I teach drawing from the model a few Mondays a month, so if you are staying with me at that time, you may encounter an art class in the main art studio. Beautiful hardwood floors, and lots of new features including new cool-gel infused memory foam queen beds; one medium and one medium-firm, each in a private bedroom. The house is in an older neighborhood of small houses in downtown Kansas City Kansas known as Strawberry Hill - a historical melting pot area that got it's name from the small houses built so close to each other, on a hill overlooking downtown KCMO. Cool area, right off the highway, pretty quick access to anywhere in the KC metro area.

It is very safe, quiet, but very close to Kansas City downtown without bustling noises and traffic. The Westside shines when it comes to locally-sourced, creative, and delicious eateries. The cache of food offerings gathered around 17th and Summit, from burgers and cocktails at The Westside Local, to Blue Bird Bistro’s unpretentious but delicate menu, are rounded out by FüD, Novel and Chez Elle Creperie.

Come stay in our awesome turn of the century home in the historic Westside neighborhood of Kansas City. Just blocks away from downtown, Crossroads and unique restaurants and shops. Just a quick Uber ride away from Westport or the Plaza. With tons of natural light & giant windows, this urban home is a PERFECT getaway for all kinds of travelers, families, professionals, brides, and photographers!
The space is a comfy renovated two bedroom home. The master suite is large and houses a queen and full bed. The second bedroom houses a queen bed with plenty of dresser and closet space. Enjoy the free WIFI, TV with Netflix, full kitchen, washer/dryer and double headed shower. There is an on premise security camera hung in the front window which points to the front porch for security. This records audio and video for 3 hours and is only monitored if needed. IMPORTANT: We have an additional apartment in the basement that we rent out as well, and we have a very strict NO PARTIES & policy. Please be mindful of the other guests & watch your noise (i.e. stomping, loud music, loud voices, etc.). Please note, this space is unfortunately not ADA compliant - stairs are unavoidable when accessing the space.
The Westside neighborhood of Kansas City is an eclectic mix of old and new, with homes built at the turn of the 20th century and new architecturally funky homes built in the last 10 years there is a great mix of art and culture all around. The neighborhood is known for the unbeatable views of downtown Kansas City, and easy access to all of the city's greatest spots. Our renovated Airstream Tiny House is the most unique & peaceful Airbnb in Kansas City, and perhaps the whole country :) Our Airstream is a fully renovated 23 footer from 1971! We spent an entire year gutting the trailer and re-building it from the frame up. We left some cool vintage charm here and there, but the moment you step inside, you'll know you're in a high end and modern tiny home. Equipped with a stocked kitchen, ICE COLD AC, beautiful bathroom, and YES - a flushing toilet!
Our Modern Airstream Tiny House is a very special place. The entire space was designed with our guests in mind. No detail was overlooked. It was a long process to create this beautiful space, but believe us when we say, it will be love at first sight :) We used reclaimed wide plank yellow pine from a downtown warehouse for the floors, the coolest penny tile for the bathroom and bathroom shower, white quartz counters in the kitchen, a Wolf induction stove top, Samsung convection oven and microwave, LED lighting throughout, hydraulic bed lift for the super comfy memory foam queen bed with plenty of storage underneath, and probably the most comfortable top grain leather couch money can buy. You'll enjoy the charm of a vintage trailer, with the modern conveniences you'd expect from a luxury vacation rental - Spa like outdoor space with brand new hot tub, swinging chair, and lovely patio furniture. And on the inside, a high end kitchen and bathroom with flushing toilet, ICE COLD AC, hot shower, high end appliances, 5-star hotel quality linens and pillows, and much more.
