Bedroom in a fresh inner city apartment. The apartment is very central - walking distance ( 5 minute bus ride) to the city centre and very close to Watertown (Direct Factory Outlet). The closest train station is City West on the Fremantle line. You will have your own room and bathroom and access to our living spaces. You can use the kitchen for breakfast and lunch however we would prefer our own space to cook dinner. The apartment complex has a large pool and spa. We do not have guest parking.
The room has a queen bed, a desk and a clear cupboard space. There is a direct door from the room to our outdoor courtyard. You will also have your own bathroom - however this is also our laundry so we will need to use it every now and then. We will provide basic amenities in the bathroom as well as towels. You are also welcome to use basic supplies in the kitchen (i.e oil, salt and pepper, condiments and tea and coffee).
Our place is an ideal area for travellers. We are extremely central, close to the CBD, Watertown, Northbridge, Leederville, Kings Park and Subiaco. We are also closely situated to the train line that will take you directly to Fremantle. Our favourite local cafes include Gordan Street Garage, La Veen and Hylin. We are also very close to the Boas Gardens which is a beautiful park for a picnic!

    The apartment is very close to the Kings Park, and also very close to the city. The Kings Park has lots to offer for its guests. It is rich in Aboriginal and European history, contemporary culture and offers innovative design, displays and services. Kings Park also has an international reputation for scientific research and conservation. You will be able to spot over 3000 different species of the State's unique flora! The apartment is also only a street away from the Jacob's Ladder which will lead you out to the Mounts Bay road. You will spot lots of locals exercising on the series of stairs, as it has a beautiful view not many other stairs can offer. Once you make it down the stairs, then you can go for a stroll along Mounts Bay Rd with the Swan river to your side, and watch baby ducklings marching together (or perhaps running away from you) with their mum. You can usually spot black swans there too, a large waterbird that is also Western Australia's official bird emblem. Lastly, the Perth city is only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. Once you pass the foot bridge that is right next to the entrance to the apartment, you will be led onto St George's Terrace and Milligan Street. There are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants on those streets (especially St George's Terrace) and most of them are locally owned with their own unique styles and vibes. If you would like to explore the heart of the Perth CBD then it is only a couple of blocks away from St George's terrace as well.

  • My four UK guests were in WA for work and thought Emma's apartment was fabulous. Everything was clean, there was great Wifi, they were close to all amenities. The only thing that they mentioned was that the location was a loud one at night due to a few bars which were operating close by, could disrupt your sleep. Apart from that everything was fantastic, thanks Emma!

The host might accidentally put unwashed one for us. I guess it might be a good option for budget travellers who are not care about cleanliness much.

    Right at the door step of King’s Park botanical garden and within 5 minute walking distance to the Perth city. Free bus to and from city with buses to Cottesloe beach and Fremantle also available. Driving from airport is around 15min. Taxi and Uber the same time around $30-$40 or $19-$$25. Bus 935 is 44 min. and just a few dollars. It is in a building constructed in 1940’s so no lift but perfect for those who enjoy going up and down a short flight of stairs (around 35 steps) for exercise.
    A north facing cosy studio just a few steps from the centre. Warm in winter, cool in summer. Double glazing window to cut down noise and acts as insulation. Ceiling fan for those preferring natural breeze to air-conditioning. Reverse cycle is at the push of a button.
    King’s Park is a wonderful place for a walk or jog any time of the day, particularly when the wild flowers are blooming. You can enjoy sweeping views of the city and beyond while relaxing underneath the lemon scented gums towering above you. Restaurants and cafes are within easy walking distance either at King’s Park or head towards the city.

All the equipment were working well. Her place was also very centralised - Great location! Walking distance to public transport (the free Red CAT bus is just opposite the apartment), great restaurants, and close to the city centre. John (her property manager) was also very understanding and helpful in checking us in. They allowed us to extend our stay for a few more hours because our flight got delayed. John met me upon arrival and check in was quick and easy. The flat is small but enough for my needs as I was in Perth for business and out most of the day. Unfortunately, it was pretty dirty and for those fussed about cleanliness this is a problem. The bed cover had a large round stain on it, and there was hair everywhere, long black hair, on the floor, bed, and furniture. I messaged Stephanie about the hair, she apologized and asked for photos so she could show her cleaner. As I had read about that very same dirtiness problem on an earlier review, my guess is this is not the first time this has happened. Normally with Airbnb I am not too fussed about cleanliness, as I expect that Airbnb places are living spaces which people rent out but normally live in. The reason why I was unimpressed with this place is because it is a holiday rental, nobody lives here. So for holiday rentals, leaving them that dirty implies a real lack of care. The furniture is dated and overall not very clean and I would not venture to cook in the oven. The fridge is old and loud, it woke me up on the first night and I had to switch it off for the rest of the stay. I did not mind that much as I didn't really intend on cooking in the kitchen anyway. Also, the walls are overall very thin and I could hear neighbors as they flicked the light switches or walked around. I had no probs sleeping with that, but those with a lighter sleep might. The place does look like it is on the photos, but the photos do not show the age of the furnishings. The balcony offers really no view, but you get some good sun coming in. As I said, for my purposes of staying out all day and coming in only to sleep, the place was fine, and the location for exploring Perth CBD is great. But if I were staying in Perth a bit longer and planned on spending more time relaxing in the flat or even cooking, I would probably look for something else.

  • Contacted Stephanie when we arrived at Perth airport and arrangements were made to meet John to collect the key. He took us to the apartment which was in a brilliant location in the centre of Perth. It was within walking distance of the city centre couldn't have been in a better place. Didn't need to contact Stephanie during our stay but did ask if it would be possible to leave our cases longer on the morning that we were leaving and she said that it was alright to do so. All in all an enjoyable stay and an excellent location for exploring Perth.

The amenities are pretty elaborate if you're looking for a place to stay and work from. It is really convenient as well. It is a short walking distance to the Perth Busport and the train too, and really nice morning coffee cafes around. He has a whole folder of detailed recommendations and helpful tips that really made the stay hassle-free and really enjoyable. It is super clean and definitely worth the stay. We would definitely stop by when we're in Perth.

You will be sharing the apartment with myself and my housemate Amy. The complex has a lap pool and gym and there is secure parking available.
    Its a good sized apartment with a balcony however with 3 or more people in the space we do need to be considerate of each other and the noise level. So we have basically set rules that 930pm-530am is quiet time so everyone can sleep, this means not using the kitchen during these hours. Also, we have agreed on no more than 2 guests in the apartment at a time.
    Take your pick, cafes, pubs, restaurants, its all here! :)

  • This unit is not what we expected. It was in a great location however the room was musty and the bathroom dirty. We had to clean the shower before we could use it. The water in the shower did not function correctly and made it hard to shower. Which was not fantastic as we had come straight from work to get ready for a event. There was no accessible plugs for us to charge our phones. The sliding door to the patio area did not lock. Even though the patio is enclosed the windows do not lock properly either as they are old and broken. We stayed in unit 315. There is also a timer button on the air conditioner/heater and we wonder why the room became cold as it had turned off before we had woken up. The people were friendly, however the description did not match the unit and was very out dated.

When the time we were in Perth, Olivia was in the U.S. However, her friendly parents took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. Thanks Penny (Olivia's mum), she recommended several places to dine. Also thanks Tony (Olivia's dad), he was there to greet my partner and I on the first day. Location of the apartment is perfect, right in the heart of Perth CBD. Close to cafés, pubs & great places to eat. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance.     This is a cosy one bedroom apartment located centrally in Northbridge. The apartment comes with its very own free and secure underground car bay. Having access to a tropical themed pool and pool area makes the apartment perfect for a summer vacation.
  • Reasonable value considering location and size but quite beige inside, no charm, (outdated yet not enough to be ‘vintage’) but great for our quick trip, central and comfortable. Upon arrival it became very difficult to find the address so we asked the attached hotel’s manager to allow us into the parking area which is not clearly marked (had to ask hotel manager again) then help us to find the apartment in the complex. It was an inconvenience for the hotel staff. Our card to use lift service and underground parking was hidden on a white shelf above eye level, glad we found it because hotel staff didn’t know. Not the worst but certainly wasn’t easy at the beginning.

  • Given different room 313 but i think its about the same. We booked a day before so the host bit slow response maybe not expecting any guest. After we arrived remote tv and tv doesnt work and one of lamp above mirror doesnt work either. I tell about it to host but they fix it in the next day after and i dont know when he/she coming because we’re not in the apartment when it fixed. Parking is not free you need to pay $10/ night But there is outside parking free 6-8pm And there is no iron in the apartment. Thin walls you can hear others talking and walk.

  • I had a great stay. Everything you need is there. The city is just across the bridge, and if you want to go around the city by bus then the bus stop is just within 5minutes walk. very convenient. The reception lady is very helpful during our check in process, she gave us the transport directory. ask her and she'll teach you especially the City and Fremantle Cat Bus map was very useful. But, theres 1 thing to know that the checkout time is 10am. I didnt know this as i thought it was at 11am. The cleaner boy came to our room around 10.30am and keep knocking at the door to and ask us to checkout immidiately, i feel like i was chased out from the room even i told him that i'll be ready around 15minutes he still insist that we leave immidiately. He was just rude. Other that the cleaner boy, everything was great!

  • Although the location is close to the city (less than 10min walk to Hay Street), it is next to the freeway. The room is not sound proof and the freeway noise does make it difficult to sleep at night. There was a plumbing issue with the toilet in my first room, although I was moved to another room, it would have been ideal that a check of the bathroom was done prior to check in. The room was very spacious and I did receive prompt replies to messages left.

Kesinee met us at the agreed time and gave us a tour of the apartment complex; both she and Luke were on hand if any problems ensued. We would certainly stay again when coming to Perth as it met our location requirements perfectly, being close to both the free CAT bus route and City West rail station. We travelled with a young child and really appreciated the extra touches the owners included to make the place functional for a family (e.g high chair, cot and toys). The view over the park is lovely and the building has great amenities (pool, gym and recreation room with a billiard table). I'd happily stay here again.
