What you'll do
In this trip, you'll explore not only the Niagara Falls but some of the major historic landmarks in Niagara Escarpment area that majority of tourists are not aware of. Our first destination will be "Niagara Glen (The Gorge)", which was created by erosive power of the falls over 10,000 years ago. Here you'll see 400 million years old Limestone Rocks that contains fossilized coral and other species. Then we'll take a small hike in the woods to see the 'Historic Cannon' that was used in battle of 1812. "Laura Secord Homestead” is our next destination. Laura Secord ranked 35th among the Top 100 "Greatest Canadians" for showing her bravery in the 'Battle of Beaverdams'. After that, we'll go for wine tasting where you'll learn about the unique steps of making "Ice Wine", starting from harvesting the frozen grapes to the entire process. We'll have lunch in a local family restaurant that serves mouthwatering Canadian and Mexican cuisines (extra cost). Our final destination is world famous "Niagara Falls"...Here you will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenic beauty of this wonder of the nature. Get yourself wet in the mist, observe the giant rainbow on the skyline. Indulge yourself. We will spend approximately 2 hours on the falls and explore every inch from inside out. I am pretty sure you will remember these memories for the rest of your life.
Travel is always in my blood. As a result, I traveled a lot of places across the world. My way of visiting a place is to experience the history, culture, food and lifestyle of people. I believe, the best way of exploring a place is by walking or biking and interacting with the locals. I enjoyed city of New York by walking/biking for 3 days. I took a full day trek in the gorge of Grand Canyon. If you ask me to describe in one sentence that how do I like to travel, the answer is, I like to visit casinos like a great gambler, restaurants like a expert diner, and hiking the trails like a pro hiker. About myself, I am a licensed tour guide for Niagara region. Also I am first-aid and CPR certified. I love to take my guests to the most exiting places in the Niagara area, share my experiences with them and see the happiness in their faces.
