What you'll do
Mushing Day is a sled dog tour for the day. We start at 8:30 a.m. to move towards the mountain range. We give you an introduction to mushing and sledding in the snow. In the middle of the tour we pause to eat a lunch box and recover energy At 5:00 we finish all the activities. The idea is that tourists can feel the strong bond of teamwork with sled dogs through the beautiful and unique native nature that surrounds us in the first Geopark in Chile.
I was born in the capital of Chile, Santiago. I lived in the city for 26 years, and studying economy and business, but my passion ever was the mountain and the animals. For 14 i was part of the Scout group of my school, loving the outdoor life. I practiced trekking for many years, but 6 years ago, i found my passion in the dogs. I started with just one dog, but the love for de sport and my dog led me to a project with more of twenty dogs. Today we have participated in many races with the dogs, in snow and in drylands. The last year i ran with one of my dogs at the world championship.
