What you'll do

Have you been looking to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Puerto Rico? Have you been dreaming of tropical rainforests and secret waterfalls? Take the time to escape to heaven on earth. Let the rainforest captivate you with it lush vegetation, its huge boulders, its cascading rivers and its scenic views. You will be immersed in a wild secluded paradise and mesmerized by Mother Nature's as its best.

Let me show you the beauty of the rainforest as the unique paradise that made it famous worldwide in a unique forest private lands tour that you can't do with anyone else. Enjoy a shower in pristine and refreshing rainforest waters, follow the tainos route and see petroglyphs while filling your soul with the peace nature provides and all these away from the crowds, as it should be.

We will meet at our basecamp in Naguabo, PR and after setting everyone with security equipment will head to the private lands at the south part of El Yunque. We will follow the Taino route to visit different waterfalls and see petroglyphs. The whole trip will take around 4.5 hours and it could be modified based on weather conditions, but shine or rain we assure you it will be the highlight in your visit to the island.

This tour was amazing! Our guide, Alex was awesome! He was very cautious and helpful when it came to hiking. He never left your sight and always made sure you are safe. Hike was at a medium level, could be challenging but definitely worth the view! I would 100% recommend this tour. It was beautiful and calm. If you decided to book the tour, bring change of clothes and shoes . You will be wet and dirty. Overall 10 out of 10. Would do this again!

a wonderful experience. The beauty of this side of El Yunque is not to be missed. Our host was great, and made this trip so much better with his knowledge. My wife and I will do it again on our next trip to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

I’ve been to El Yunque before, unguided, and it was not a very good experience. Ricky’s guided tour was amazing. The highlights were definitely the views and guides. Alex was absolutely awesome, and very straightforward. He was very clear about keeping everyone safe, but also making sure you get the most out of the experience. There were other guides helping, and they were also great and made sure to keep you safe. The only thing that I would recommend that may not be explained in the instructions or other reviews is to wear socks and shoes with foam soles. They are best for slippery rocks. I wore chaco’s and they did not inspire confidence on some parts of the hike which is not their fault. I thought chaco’s would be best because of the waterfalls, but socks work really well for walking on algae-covered rocks. In terms of how strenuous the hike was, it was well set up. I am not very athletic but it us set up where you hike for 10-15 minutes, then go to an amazing location to rest (don’t want to spoil anything). I think just in terms of what you see, and how amazing the guides were, it is absolutely worth it. Make sure you rent a car if you plan on doing this.
