What we’ll do

The tour concentrates on the devastating Battle of Berlin which occurred in April/May 1945. The battle was very much the dramatic conclusion of the entire Second World War in Europe, but also played a huge part in the post-war situation of Berlin, including its division into East and West. The tour takes you through central Berlin - known as 'Z Sector' during the battle - where we will see many…

Please provide your own transport to the start location (it is well served by public transport). This is primarily a walking tour, so good practical shoes will help. Please be aware that with larger groups the tour can sometimes finish later. I will keep you updated as we go.

Where you'll be

The tour starts in Museum Island and broadly heads West through central Berlin, passing many landmarks, such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Luftwaffe and SS HQs, Führerbunker, Holocaust Memorial, Tiergarten, Reichstag and others.
