I am an experienced flax artist in my home country New Zealand. I love flax weaving because of it's unique history, because it is a beautiful and readily available plant, and because of the endless possibilities for creativity. I am lucky to be able to share this craft with locals as well as fellow travelers. Be warned - this unique craft form is addictive!

Where you'll be

We will begin in the garden and look at how flax bushes grow. Weather permitting the workshop will be held in the stunning Phoenix Park, Dublin. Alternatively we will be in my home near the park. It is a very 'hands on' experience and you can find your own 'space' to work inside, or in the garden.
