I am a San Diego native and am passionate about sharing our local environment and hidden beauties of San Diego with others. My background is in Landscape Architecture/horticulture and for my day job I design residential landscapes and travel often to for talks about my profession as well as host landscape based TV shows on the DIY Network.

What we’ll do

1-1.5 hr tour with Landscape Designer & TV host Sara Bendrick & friends. Sara will take you on a urban hike through residential canyons near Little Italy, Balboa park & Hillcrest. Where you'll be

We'll start at a local coffee shop, head to the trail head at Maple Canyon where we'll talk about native plants, cross under the beautiful 1st Ave. Bridge & hike out of the canyon for beautiful views of SD, cross pedestrian bridges, snack & hike back down through old secluded neighborhoods and return to the coffee shop.
