About your host

I started breeding poultry when I was 6 years old, a passion of mine which is now a business. I breed & sell chickens & bantams as pets & as egg layers to people all over the UK, I exhibit at local shows, I've been published in multiple articles & now offer the chicken keeping courses, I absolutely love it! The whole breeding process is so exciting and interesting & I can't wait to show you why!

What we’ll do

We'll start with a tour of the setup outside which will involve showing you all the different chicken and bantam breeds I have (as well as a few ducks too!) and the hatchery where lots of the chicks can be seen - too cute not to miss! After the tour, we'll make our way into a cosy, traditional English outbuilding onsite where I'll chat to you about everything you need to know to keep chickens…

What else you should know

Bring wellington boots for the tour in case it's a bit muddy and a raincoat in case of bad weather. A camera isn't essential but you may want to take some snaps of the chickens!
