Ignacio

As a traditional hunter and farmer/forager, I strive to be in relationship with the land, farms, and water resources. I seek to share in the breath of the land and become intimate with every step on a trail, each plant and its purpose, and naturally-found medicines. I am also a chef, cultural practitioner, and avid student of anthropology and archaeology.

Where you'll be

We will meet at the front gate to Mohala Farms on the North Shore of Oahu and then to explore the farm, greenhouse, and the traditional hand-built hale (or eating/gathering house). Mohala Farms is a six acre farm along Mount Ka'ala, includes the Kaukonahua ditch and stream, and widens out into the ocean along Kaiaka Bay.
