What you'll do

We will be hiking a moderate to easy 5 mile loop trail through a lush canyon alongside a cascading creek and visiting the abandoned ruins of a commercial lime producing area from the 1800's. Along the way we will be learning about the Redwood ecosystem and identifying the local plants and animals. Bring good walking shoes, your camera (or cell phone camera) and your desire to learn about the history and natural wonders of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Greg

I have lived in Felton for the past 12 years and have come to really love my town and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Over the last 12 years I have gathered a large pool of knowledge of the local history, plants and animals of this unique area . I am also play drums in a local band and a card carrying member of the Bigfoot Museum here in Felton.
