Alaina

I am a mixed media artist residing in the Hudson Valley, New York. I recently co-presented my current art series "Bird Watching: A Cultural history of Gonçalvez Dias", at the University of Mato Grosso, and last summer had an exhibition at the University of Lisbon. When I am not traveling and painting in my studio, I teach art at my home studio and in the community.

Where you'll be

We will meet up at the Beacon Train Station and then walk over to the Hudson Scenic Long Dock to take photographs. We'll then drive across the Hudson River to take a few more photos from Storm King and begin our encaustic photos at my home studio in Cornwall on Hudson.
