What you'll do

Hi :) We will start by chatting a bit about your yoga experience & your body's conditions on the specific day of the practice. After you have had the time to arrive on your mat, I will guide your through a breath exercise (pranayama) and share a sequence of asanas (poses) focusing on the integrity and stability of the breath & the body. Having the awareness of where you stand and what actions are required can be helpful when the asanas (or life) pull you towards one direction or the other. A meditation will seal the practice, while encourage you to reign over their thoughts. The routine of asanas will be shared with you (a hardcopy), so you can practice daily :) After the practice you will be invited to a yummy breaky (!!!) and to jump into the beautiful Brunswick River.

I'm a Certified Level 2 (500h) Yoga Teacher by the Byron Yoga Center. I share a Slow Flow with the students. Sequencing functional and alignment-based movements, in which the student feels at easy in each (asana) posture & connect with his/her breath. Starting with a pranayama, the class uses the movement to allow students to meditate. With a warm and caring energy, I intend to bring awareness to the benefits of the practice, on and off the mat. I run weekly general classes in the Byron Shire community, especially in Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads.

Where you'll be

You will be by the beautiful Brunswick River, in Brunswick Heads. Bruns is a small coastal village in the Northern Rivers Region, definitely one of the best stretches of unspoiled coastline in NSW. With the ocean on the horizon, you will be just a few meters from Torakina, Brunswick and Christmas beaches.

More tips

Make sure you are hydrated before the practice and that you've had enough mental and physical rest. Ideally you would practice with an empty stomach or 1-2h after eating.
