What you'll do
Leave behind the chaos of the city and take a serene walk through the snowy landscape of the Monti Simbruini mountain range. This hike will take you through beautiful beech forest where I will help you to look for animal prints in the fresh snow, or you can simply just enjoy the breathtaking surroundings of the mountain before stopping off at a traditional cabin where hot drinks will be served.
Find me on Facebook page Sound Trek or in Instagram @sound_trekking Ciao, I'm Francesco and I'm an environmental hiking guide registered in Aigae (the Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides) since 2016. I've been in the Italian Apennines mountains for over 10 years, I love walking in nature and I firmly believe in the possibilities that only slow tourism can give you.
Where you'll be
The Regional Park of the Monti Simbruini is the widest protected nature reserve in the Lazio region, with mountains reaching 2000 metres in height. We will go to Monte Livata, a mountain town completely immersed in the Natural Park
