Initially, we tried to contact the host to confirm the meet up location, and did not get a response until after we showed up to the address given. Upon arrival, he said they forgot to let us know to go to the other location so we had to pay for another taxi ride to get there.
Upon actual meet up, the equipment was laid out on a kayak as if it had not ever been cleaned or sanitized. We were given a shirt that was pulled out of the pile and seemed to have been used already. They only have about 3 different flipper sizes; none of which fit me so I opted not to use them. The snorkel was discolored so I’m not sure if it had been just old or dirty. Lastly, I appreciate them trying to give me a hat for sun protection, however, the one I was given was stained and had mold growing around the rim of the forehead part. Thankfully, he he did switch with me though.
What I did like was as how we had a destination to kayak to. The reef was pretty with some fish. Also, they did provide a go pro that they used to take photos and videos for us as well as let us use it during our snorkeling experience.
Overall for the experience I feel it was a bit overpriced.
