What you'll do
We will take a walk through the historic center of Florence. First we will visit Santa Maria Novella square with its characteristic obelisks and the great Basilica. From there we will head towards the elegant and prestigious Via Tornabuoni, along which we will find palaces that belonged to great Renaissance families. Then we will go to the first historic Florentine square: Piazza della Repubblica. We continue on via Calimala. Our goal: the famous and inimitable Ponte Vecchio with its traditional jewelries and its hanging houses. We will then arrive at Piazzale degli Uffizi, where one of the most visited museums in Florence is located. At two steps we will see the seat of the civil power of Florence, Piazza della Signoria, with the impressive open-air museum in it preserved. Afterwards we will enter the heart of the medieval quarter of the great writer Dante Alighieri and we will have the unique opportunity to enter and see how the Roman baths were. Passing through the center of religious power, the impressive Piazza del Duomo, we will finish our tour at the Central Market of Florence, San Lorenzo, where you can meet and buy typical products from all over Italy.
I am an official tour guide specialized in Florence and its surroundings since 2010. I fell In love with this city since the first time I saw her and then I decided to move and leave my native country some years ago. Since then, culture, and especially the art of Fiorence, have made my passion a way of life. A great lover of cultural diversity, I have always dedicated myself to the tourism sector, working with the convinced purpose of learning a little of each experience I have lived and of each person I know in my journey. This is my way of thanking Florence for all that I have learned from her.
