What you'll do
Come experience a rural and rare opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the king of reggae. Tour the village in which Bob Marley grew up; interact with locals and learn about the Jamaican culture and Bob’s life. Walk the streets he walked, enjoy the mountain views that captured his gaze as a boy and partake of a piece of nostalgia that will make you reflect on the profoundness of his lyrical content. Outside of the glamour that is sand, fun and sea, nothing is more exciting than our interesting Jamaican delicacies and the warmth of our people. Because food is such an important part of our culture you can enjoy jerk chicken and roasted yams, fresh from the farm complemented by a well chilled Red Stripe beer or coconut water. The climax to this experience is a visit to Bob’s childhood home and his final resting place.
I consider myself to be people-oriented. The only thing I am more passionate about than my culture is life itself. I love to experience other cultures and use each opportunity to learn about myself, others and the world in which I live. I have grown to appreciate that we have more control over the experiences in life we choose to mold us than we can even fathom. I am eager to help others experience true personal growth through exposure to another culture, a people, a way of life that is as authentic as the grass is green.
