What you'll do
There are many people who love Indian food. They want to cook it and learn more about it. Sometimes it looks a little challenging to learn the dishes you’ve ordered at the restaurant right away, but no worries: they’re not so daunting.
We will begin this experience with tea.
During this Experience, we will learn to make Chicken Makhni (Butter chicken), Aloo Paratha, Saag Paneer, and Pakora (fritters).
While preparing each dish I encourage lots of questions, taking pictures and truly being a part of the dish's preparation. This is no cooking demo! Everybody will get a chance to experience of hands on cooking and making delicious and flavorful food.
At the conclusion, we will sit together and enjoy the fruits of our labor. You will also be provided a copy of the recipes for the meals we create.

Mukti
I’m Mukti Banerjee and I have always had a desire to share my passion of food with people. I think it’s important to empower everyone to cook for themselves, eat more nutritional diets, and to be happy and healthy.
I decided to start Mukti's Kitchen when a few good friends insisted that I did something to let others know about my Indian cooking, and the variety and uniqueness of it. I grew up in Calcutta, India, where my mother and aunt taught me to cook. In 1986 I moved to the U.S. with my husband and have been here for the last three decades.
I look forward to sharing the flavors, healthy benefits, and healing properties of Indian spice with you.
