What you'll do

Dim Sum, that wonderful brunch served in Chinese Tea houses, literally meaning “to touch your heart,” is served as an innumerable assortment of delicacies, consisting or varieties of dumplings, steamed dishes, and other goodies. Dive Into Chinese Culture and Cuisine on Philly’s Chinatown Tour and Dim Sum which more likes a brunch, making the tour a budget-friendly way to explore city of Philadelphia. I will lead you through Chinatown, giving some history between stops. You'll get the chance to explore a Chinese herbal medicine shop and even swing by a Chinese bakery and enjoy some fresh treats with bubble tea. At the end of the tour, you will taste dim sum at a local traditional Chinese dim sum house! There's much more on the agenda, so if you want to learn more about Chinese culture and cuisine, don't miss this unique tour. This tour allows you to taste, shop, and learn when it comes to Chinatown. You will learn Chinese culture through food, sights, and historical monuments throughout the community. You may reserve a special group tour. Great News! I just opened up our famous dumpling + bubble tea making class on Sept 2nd. If you are in town, please PM to join me.

As a dumpling expert and the founder of Dumpling Academy, I host classes and competitions based on the iconic food. I have worked in City Kitchen for the dumpling making show at the Reading Terminal Market as its guest chef for Chinese New Year. I was also interviewed by “What’s Cooking” on 1060 by Hadas Kuznits, of the Philadelphia (CBS) KYW radio station about Chinese New Year. In early 2017, I was invited by the show, Travel & Adventure, to host a dumpling making show in the PA Convention Center. Great News! I just opened our famous Dumpling+Bubble Tea Making Class on Sept 2nd on airbnb.
