I have taught drama for over 30 years and the opportunity to combine my love of forests, stories and people, is something I can't resist! Stories connect people and foster empathy and understanding between them. As a proudly South African Storyteller, I look forward to sharing our heritage with you!

What we’ll do

Bring your family and join me in experiencing the tranquility of the oldest, southernmost, indigenous forest in Africa. While relaxing under the 1000 year old Milkwood, you will listen to stories for an hour, both old and new, told by me about South Africa, using fables, true stories and traditional tales. Afterwards, you can take a stroll through the forest to the Labyrinth and surrounding…

Where you'll be

We will be going to one of the best kept secrets in the Overberg region- an ancient forest. Experience the beauty of nature, while having the opportunity to also give something back by supporting the reforestation programme.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 10 guests ages 6 and up can attend.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
