Very few people understand why they like what they like. We think most of us tend to eat and drink out of necessity, doing so in a hurry. We would like to fix that.

We will discuss what's considered a great cup of coffee and why. We will do this by covering some basic concepts about the neuroscience of flavor. Then, we will go through the different processes and ideas on how to brew the best cup of coffee.

Also we believe that coffee is about connection, inspiration, and drive. Some of the biggest changes of humanity have been inspired and fueled by coffee. We strongly believe that now is the perfect time to share a cup of coffee.

Christian: I'm from Venezuela, I love coffee and I'm chemical engineer, specialized in food. I own Privilegium, a company focused on expressing emotions and sensations through flavor. (Located in CDMX)

Elena:globe trotter and coffee lover. I am fascinated by the fact that no matter where I go in the world, I always find a cup of coffee waiting for me. I am on a quest to find out what is it about coffee that connects us so deeply?

Ricardo I'm a judge in Mexico's national coffee competitions and the founder and CEO of Borola Café, one of the most emblematic specialty coffee shops in Mexico City. In other words, I'm a professional coffee taster! You can see more about me in my instagram @ricardo_lopez_x

Great experience and I had a lot of fun! Christian has a very nice personality that just shines through the screen. He is definitely passionate about coffee and has a good sense of humor so it was simply very pleasant to learn from him how to balance different tastes and what to look for when choosing and making the perfect coffee :)

It was nicely done! The presenter was well prepared and really high energy, made the class very engaging 😊 I learned quite a bit without realizing how the different senses/tastes do require balance and with that, he’s helped improve my coffee that I brew using a French Press. Definitely would recommend to other groups looking to host a valuable experience. Thanks again!

An awesome experience. My friends and are all pretty comfortable with our coffee set-up, so I was a little afraid we may not get as much out of this as we could, but I was totally wrong. Christian used simple ingredients to give you a much better understanding of the flavors in coffee and how to balance them and I learned a lot more from it than expected. He's an engaging presenter who took time to answer our questions at the end and is clearly immensely knowledgeable about coffee. Highly recommend!
