About your host

I am the ceramicist who set up Brookwood Pottery. I trained with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland in Thomastown, County Kilkenny. I produce small batches of hand-thrown work including large bowls, mugs, and other tableware, onto which I paint and draw my original designs. In November 2017 I set up a new studio and shop in Santry, where I welcome people into the pottery to play with clay…

You'll learn how to roll clay and make a ceramic tile, guided by trained potters, and you'll enjoy tea or coffee with some yummy…

Where you'll be

Brookwood Pottery and Shop, Santry Dublin 9. Brookwood Pottery was opened in November 2017. Thanks to a successful crowd-funding campaign, we now have a purpose-built studio where we offer people the opportunity to discover the benefits of working with clay. Santry Demesne is a public park with a walled garden and many pathways enjoyed by the local community for walks, jogging, and family outings.
