What you'll do

Let me tell you about our La Rifa Experiences. We want to make you part of the Cacao to Chocolate process. We will be making artisanal chocolate from the seed, using Mexican cacao that comes from producing families, who work day by day to preserve the biodiversity of Mexican cacao. You will know the history and process of this seed, native to Mesoamerica, the different varieties that exist, plantations, agroforestrial systems and the importance of biodiversity, as well as the post-harvest processes that are carried out by the producers. You will also learn the process of selection, roasting, husking and artisanal grinding that we carry out in La Rifa to make chocolate. We will teach you how to make your own chocolate from home to share with your loved ones. Get ready for an experience full of flavors, colors and textures that flood our workshop. Meanwhile, you will also enjoy some of our drinks, which we make based on cacao, as well as chocolates made with different varieties of cocoa. It is an experience to revalue Mexican traditions and foods. We are waiting for you!
