About your host

I retired from the Navy a few years ago and decided to stay on Whidbey because I love where I live; I love to ride my bike and I love to share that experience with folks. I am an avid road and mountain biker who races occasionally. I have an intimate knowledge of all things biking. I also enjoy backpacking, rock climbing and fly-fishing.
