What you'll do

In this experience you will learn how to make Japanese potato salad and karaage—a seasonal Japanese meat dish. Chicken karaageーdeep fried chicken—is an all time favorite food, and it's one of the most delicious dishes to serve with white rice. Japanese potato salad is made with smashed boiled potatoes, garnished with mayonnaise, carrots, cucumbers, onion, and ham. It is one of Japan's favorite side dishes. The course will consist of four parts and five different dishes. I will introduce Japanese cuisine to you, show you how to display a table in an elegant way, and give you some tips about good Japanese table manners. We will then prepare the complete menu together and finally you will enjoy your meal with premium sake. At the end of the course, before leaving, we will visit a nearby supermarket. I will give you useful tips and show you which ingredients you definitely need to bring back to your country. WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? Where you'll be

We'll meet in front of "YellowKorner" which is a beautiful photographic store on Hollywood Road. Central, and then go to my home for the cooking experience. After our meal, we'll go to a Japanese food market nearby.
